Pros: "On time departure, early arrival. Lead crew member helped me find a trading card Frontier does with all their animal mascots I use for scrapbooking my trip. She took the extra time to find one in a kid snack pack and gave me whole thing! Made my day."
Cons: "Plane was a bit dirty from quick turnaround service. Crumbs on all my row, window smudged with who knows what. My Lysol wipe came in handy."

At the check-in counter it seemed unorganized. The automated check-in machines were not working properly and customers were not helped in an orderly line when I had to check-in at the counter."

Cons: "First I bought a ticket from Spirit Airlines SFO to MCO for 309$, then I saw charges from frontier Airline, frontier airlines bought a ticket for me too for 287$, when I was just watching checking the price. Then I compared the tickets, both the time, but from Frontier Airlines was cheaper then I stayed with frontier and cancel the other reservation from Spirit Airlines the next day I see frontier airlines also cancelled that reservation and I had to rebook another ticket for 496$, the price went up, then I had to pay 187$ extra, IT WAS A FRAUD JOB FROM FRONTIER AIRLINES, I can prove everything above with the receipts and the dates on it, the worse experience I had"

You have to be very careful that you understand all the rules about baggage and seating (don't pay extra-they'll just assign you one, and you probably won't sit with your traveling companion). Great as long as you can fit everything you need into a bag that fits under the seat in front of you. got TSA pre-check both ways, too. yippee."

Cons: "The check in process was brutal. Line went from the back wall of check in all the way to the opening near security at MCO. Understaffed, staffed in the wrong places, NO staff helping with kiosks, and we almost missed out flight because it took so long."

What I thought was a positive for this airline quickly became a negative outcome."

Cons: "The disorganization checking one check bag. I arrived in plenty of time. Very long line to check the bag (no skycab available). Majority of people in line arrived with only a short time before their flight and had to be rushed ahead of me to get to their flight on time. I finally arrived to the front of the line after about 45 minutes and 50% of the people behind me were on flights leaving in 30 minutes or less and had to go ahead of my husband and I. They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

Once you add in the higher baggage fee, the seat fees (no free seats), the flight is priced the same if not higher than other airlines but the real difference is in all of this is customer service. The lead flight attendant on the my flight was extremely rude and unresponsive. My mother had a wheelchair assist her to the gate for our departing flight in Orlando. This was arranged by the ticket counter. Apparently, Frontier screwed up and did not arrange for a wheelchair to meet us at the gate in Charlotte. When we mentioned this to the lead flight attendant, he said we would need to go and find one ourselves. I asked if he could call the gate and asked them to bring one so I wouldn't have to leave my elderly mother, he said, "no". I asked again and explained that I didn't want to leave my mother. This time he rolled his eyes at me and said, it wasn't his problem. Really? This is precisely the reason I will not take Frontier again. Please look into training your people better or your hiring process. Cheap flight do not address this issue."

Cons: "The line at the airport to drop off my luggage (which was prepaid) was crazy long as most people had not prepaid and some were trying to pay with cash (which Frontier does not accept). Even tho I had my boarding pass printed and luggage paid for I waited almost an hour in this line - and I arrived 2 hours 1/2 early. After arriving in Cincinnati the luggage took at least 40 minutes to arrive at the pick up point. On my outward bound trip to Orlando the luggage took over an hour to arrive at the luggage carousel. It seems that Frontier does not have a good rapport with the baggage handlers at the airports."

I would have thouhgt they would have noticed by the cane in my hann an the trouble I had getting to the last row of the plane. A fellow flyer helped me to get off."

Cons: "paperless boarding did not work - there are more android users than iPhone, yet, the barcode does not show up on e-boarding pass on droid phones. Also, Spirit forces people to sign up for an account to get e-boarding pass. This was not the case with my AA flight the previous day. Tray tables were on a spring so anytime the person behind my lifted it, it snapped and startled me as I was trying to sleep. Crew did not make curtsy announcement asking parents of children to silence electronic devices so there was lots of kid music, beeping, and general noise that even my earbuds couldn't cancel out."

Cons: "the customer service is horrid, spent more than 3hrs on the phone on 2 seperate calls and in essence was told that I did something wrong and that they could not help me in any way. we were told to leave the airplane and get rebooked due to severe weather in detroit. not given a choice to get to detroit or not. after more than 5 1/2hrs finally relented and took a refund (unknown amount) and had to book a new flight home ($1300) on my own because it was going to be over 48hrs to get another flight to seattle. no hotel vouchers, no food vouchers, we were to book hotel on our own and pay for it, and the extra food on our own or we could stay in the airport (not an option with a child)!"

Long story short, they delayed our flight three hours, sent us 10 emails about the flight changing times (literally minute differences) they then make zero announcements, rush people onto the plane, make zero attempts to contact us. We then get to the boarding gate 25 mins before the stated departure, the plane is still there, the door is still open, I'm at the gate and they close it on my face. They made no attempt to help me and were rude. Not only did I miss this flight, but three other separate parties missed their flight due to Spirits negligence, poor execution and abismal customer service. I truly hate to fault Kayak here as your company did nothing wrong. As you can see I use your company often. However, moving forward I will most likely be taking my business elsewhere. Cons: "I didn't like the sales pitch to buy the Spirit credit card--obnoxious. The seats are cramped rather than "cozy," as Spirit describes them. It was manageable for a two-hour flight, but I wouldn't go longer."

The low-ish price is simply not worth it."

Security was terrible experience. Took forever. I nearly missed the flight. The door had already been closed when I got there. Airline staff were surly even though it was not my fault. Flight was good. Will never fly Spirit again"

Nit clear how these bigger bags are allowed when it's obvious they exceed limits. My wife and I worked hard to get 5 days of clothes in the small bags. No one was checking bags size that appeared close to limits."

Bad weather in a different part of the country may cause the flight to be canceled and the limited number of flights will cause you to fly the next day and spent 24 hours at the airport. Don't assume that Spirit will email you notice of the cancellation or that the staff will make much of an effort to find you an earlier flight."

Oh, I'm sure you have it on your website, in some tiny print that no one sees"
