Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

I'll grant you I am a big girl at 6' 250 however the first leg of my flight from FLL to ATL which WAS on a Delta plane, was fine. I did not feel smashed into the seat. For the money, I feel like I am due more than being locked into the seat unable to move more than 1/2 inch for an entire flight. Thankfully the flight was under 2 hours."

AC Cancelled our flight when we were waiting to board due to pilot staffing. They would have known this well in advance. Very frustrating. Rescheduled for the following day.
Lost all my luggage, which resulted in having to miss part of a prepaid hunting trip. Had to book into a hotel close to the airport in an attempt to recover my suitcase and an expensive firearm and lockable case. Do not ever use this airline. So far this has cost me well over a $1000 in bills and lost opportunities. Still not sure if my firearm will be recovered.
They charge for everything. The checked luggage you pay extra for but they dont even allow a ton of weight so you have to buy even more. Many overseas flights allows up to two bags. The food was horrible! For breakfast we got a cold croissant and yogurt. The last flight I took we got a hot breakfast sandwich, which would have been much better.

We were delayed on departure, then on the tarmac, then in the air, and finally when getting off the plane. I am glad that I was rebooked and was given a hotel to stay at, but I did not like the way I was treated by Air Canada staff at customs. I passed through customs only to be sent back into Canada after having crossed through security because the staff decided to close. We were told by other staff members that it was up to them to decide when they were done and to talk them. I ran through the whole airport with about 7 other people to make it. Why make us cross through security only to send us back? There was no one there to guide us on what to do. I had to go through the whole thing again the following day only to have my face cream taken away (it is technically cream, not a liquid) and then be detained. Cons: "They had nothing together. My first flight was delayed so I got in late and my connecting flight was rescheduled for 5 hours later. Their "free meal voucher" for rescheduling amounts to one slice of pizza and no drink. The airport then lost my checked bag and kept me waiting in one room for 4 of those hours to where I was still rushing to catch my next flight. Air Canada then forgot to assign a plane to my new second flight so I waited another 2 hours to board. Once boarded, the airline made us wait another hour while they loaded bags, then unloaded some of the wrong bags thy put on. They then tacked 25 minutes in the wrong direction and we went all the way back. I have never seen so many people rushing the customer service desks because they missed their connecting flights, throughout the entire time I was stuck in Toronto. Additionally, their "in flight movie system" doesn't work unless you rent one of their iPads. It prompts you to download Java Flash player even if you already have it instead of asking to run it. Then once you allow it, you get a 1-2 second animation then the movie breaks. There are similar errors with their music and tv show features, I tried all of these in my laptop and phone."
Pros: "Pearson Airport puts the puddle jumper flights at the far, far, far end of the airport. That makes some sense."
Cons: "There's only one choice for refreshments, unless you count the cracker-amd-nuts machine. The seats are terrible. The assumption seems to be that no one waits long, but the experience proves the opposite, as wind, construction, security clearance for flight crews and who knows what else (any excuse will do) creates delays of more than an hour for people who end up standing along the walls and sitting on the floor waiting. Again, crews and ground staff for AC are not able to give accurate instructions or guidance for boarding flights. That airport is a mess."
Pros: "Was offered a hotel for the night after missing my second connection of the trip due to airport construction delays at Pearson International. Some of the staff members were kinder than others."
Cons: "Following first delay and missed connection, I was re-ticketed on a later flight by the Air Canada customer service desk. It wasn't until I looked at the flight schedule online that I realized there was an earlier available flight. I scrambled to the gate and the attendant was very patient and helpful, she promptly checked me in."

Cons: "No apology for lateness, flight boarded late, took off 40 min late, arrived 35 minutes late but we sat at gate waiting for someone to open it ?!, then another 15 min before bags started to unload Ridiculous but indicative of airlines You are not their valued guest or even their customer, you are a problem that needs to be solved and are consequently met with preloaded annoyance and a readiness to dismiss, placate at the best of times but definitely not please, impress, sympathize or satisfy. There is no evidence that it's even in their lexicon- not a part of their recruitment or selection process or training, ever! They're main focus and only positivity is saved for themselves. There may be a long line of concerned and anxious travelers but their priority is getting coffees for the battle ahead! They break their focused indifference only for each other and enthusiastically leave their post to satisfy each other's needs and attention. This has got to change! Why do we put up with such awful service for which we are the paying customer? Why are we, their customers, not valued? This airline makes record profits, provides less, charges for everything and increasingly delivers bad service, sometimes offensively bad! It doesn't cost more to hire a customer centric pleasant person, or incorporate guest experience into training or at the very least be friendly and smile! What if an airline just did that?! They'd differentiate themselves and develop a positive customer centered culture. Don't we deserve that, at the very least?!"
Cons: "My Original flight was cancelled 3 hours prior to departure. Had to wait long lines at Air Canada customer service. Due to slowness of process, was not able to take other departing flights to other close airports. Had to stay the night at hotel."
Cons: "boarding was very painful , stood in line for over a hour to check suitcase . by time luggage was checked and i went through security the plane was boarding. i found luggage was damaged after i returned home. i then had to spend hours on chat to report damage and get a ref number, i then had to drive back to the airport for someone to see the damage and give me paper work. i now have to drive to thornhill to bring suitcase to see if can get repaired. plus i had to pay for parking at the airport. no satisfied with air canada at all."
Pros: "Nothing. I spent the whole 5+ hour flight cursing (in my mind) the entire Air Canada executive team. This was my first, and will be my last trip on this horrible airline."
Cons: "Not enough leg room. I'm assuming that all Air Canada executives are either very short people, or they've never tested their product. I've never flown on such an absurdly uncomfortable airline seat configuration, and I fly over 100,000 miles a year worldwide (including discount airlines in China!). If you have long legs, and your flight is more that two hours, DO NOT fly Air Canada Rouge. You've been warned!"
Pros: "I liked the variety of entertainment options on the iPad app."
Cons: "Unless you knew ahead of time that the entertainment system was housed entirely in an app, you wouldn't know that you needed to have a smart phone or tablet on the flight and needed to download the app. A few people in our traveling party either didn't have a smart phone or tablet, or had trouble downloading the app while on the flight. Also, a few people had issues with the app freezing while in use. There was very little legroom between seats, resulting in an uncomfortable flight. We flew economy on our connecting flight, and the seats were much more comfortable. My reading light didn't work using my button, but it turned on & off during the flight like it might have been connected to someone else's button. There weren't individual air vents for passengers, so some of us were very hot and some were very cold."

Cons: "Passengers over a certain size should get two seats or the airline should install special seats for them. Why I or anyone else should have to endure being crammed in next to someone exceeding his seat size is indefensible."
Cons: "On both outbound and inbound trips (connecting with international flights) the flight was late. Both times the door was closed and then they informed us of the delay. I understand that smaller planes often get bumped, but on the outbound leg, a 20 minute delay on the tarmac and then not allowing us to deplane for another 15 minutes meant I missed the connecting flight."

Cons: "Moving through security and customs in the Toronto airport was incredibly slow, with 4 or 5 checkpoints, all with lines. Staff were polite but there were not enough of them. We almost missed our connecting flight, and our bags apparently did miss it, because they have not yet arrived in Chicago (see previous comments). Air Canada should have seen the problem in terms of timing with the connecting flight and expedited better. Will try to avoid Air Canada in the future, especially if there are connections in Toronto."

A lot of improvements needed from BWI airport if they want to retain their customers."

You have to download their app before the flight starts. I was having issues with the app on the previous flight, so I tried to get help with it before we took off. Our flight attendant acknowledged she heard my question and then just walked off and didn't help me."

We were told we were re-booked on a flight, so we ran across the airport, with two small children, to make that flight only to be told that weren't actually re-booked and needed to go standby. We then waited in line at customer service for two hours to be informed that United won't pay for a hotel. The customer service rep. did offer that if we wanted to take our kids across the airport, now at 11:30 at night, we could look for a United Supervisor in Terminal E, and if we were lucky enough to find one, they might override the policy and cover the hotel. Really! I understand that United doesn't have control over customs, but United did book an international flight with just over an hour layover, knowing that any slowdown in customs means missed flights. That's fine. The problem I have is when it happened, United's Customer Service model was to provide misinformation, incredible slow service, and what seemed like a complete lack of interest by United employees to do anything to make the situation better. There were no supervisors at the service counter, only 1 representative for an hour or so, and when the other representatives showed up, they were discussing going on break and going home. All with a very long line of people stuck in the airport waiting to get some help. I could accept this as an isolated instance, but since booking this trip, I have been getting the same level of service over the phone while trying to submit a refund request for my son who did not join us on the trip. United's 24 hour refund policy has taken 6 weeks and many hours online and on the phone and I still have no idea what the status of that request is, and apparently neither does anybody at United. The interaction I have had with your employees have been friendly and courteous, but extremely time consuming, with a lot of incorrect information and no resolution. Very mediocre at best."

Ok, here's the kicker: when we got on the plane, there were many open seats in the middle. My mom asked if we could sit in one and was told that it would be $91, even though the flight wasn't full. What is really going on? So there we all cram into the back of the plane. I am Not exaggerating when I tell you that I could not extend my are fully in front of me-that's how close the rows were!! The video was playing the safety message and we all looked at each other knowing that there was no physical way to reach under the seat 'in the case of a emergency'. The flight was turbulent, but you can't really help Mother Nature & we arrived alive, so I'll give you that. But as we landed, a piece of the seat in front of us landed on my moms foot.
