Cons: "Despite the fact that I fell skiing and broke my elbow, requiring surgery, for which I sent a copy of the medical procedures, Aeromexico was the ONLY part of my trip, other flights and hotels, that refused to offer me a change of date option. Terrible customer service."

Running out of the LAX->MEX plane, the crew the said: "don't forget to pick up your luggage".. and then all went pairshaped. One member of MEX staff claimed the baggage is going directly to destination, another said that it won't and i need to pick it up myself and do god knows what with it. LAX->MEX flight delayed by 30mins, 1hr change time. Everybody relaxed just me loosing all my boozy contraband as i had no choice but to put my registered luggage thru security."

I was told a confirmation of a new flight was going to be email once the request from the support had been approved (the email confirmation was never received). I was also instructed multiple times to not show at the airport unless I had receive the confirmation. I was up most of the night waiting for this confirmation that never came!! I received an email this morning letting me know the fight from ALT to Mexico had been delay!! When I opened it to view the itinerary it showed she had been booked for the am fight at 6:30 am! after spending another hour and 35 minutes on the phone your support team could not find a fight until Dec.21!! Not to mention the accepted they had problems with their email system and phones, but asked why didn't I called,mmm I was on the phone for the 3rd time!!!! I am very, very disappointed!! Not a discount was offer or a fight the next day even when I was checking an flights were available!!! Here is the other part,,Rosa came all the way from Mexico to care for her ill sister for the last 2 1/2 months, all she asked was to be able to be back home for the holidays!! Your team insisted on scheduling a flight for next week or a full refund!! This was not a money matter!! It's about getting some one home for the Holidays who has helped a ill person during the most vulnerable time in her life!!"

Pros: "Nothing in particular stands out about our flight. We've flown many airlines, Aeroflot, British Air, Delta, Iceland Air and KLM recently. Lufthansa was right in there with the middlet of the pack, with the exception of Iceland Air, which would be at the bottom, but they make no pretenses. The seats, even in the basic economy, which we had,reclined and were comfortable; good legroom. Food and drink offerings were standard. Amounts were small, but everything was the right temperature. Restrooms were clean and well equipped. Movie offerings, not many newer releases. Nothing like Sky news, so you couldn't check weather or current events. Crew was courteous and attentive,"
Cons: "Boarding at Frankfort left much to be desired. First off, the equipment was not ready; we waited 45 min. to board after we got to the gate (early) and due to turbulence over the Atlantic, the pilots could not make up the time. We are senior citizens. We, along with about 25 others in our category, responded to the call for us to get in line to board, stand for 30 min. The gate personnel did not provide any information that boarding was NOT imminent at that point, so you had to stand up to keep your place. Finally, once the boarding for people needing assistance began, we got to choose between using 2 flights of stairs (a faster way to get into the plane) or an elevator to board the plane. (Hello! We have trouble with things like stairs; don't you know that?) The elevator accommodated one wheelchair and 2 or 3 people at a time. More waiting in the jetway to get down to the plane! The whole boarding process took 90 min. from the time we stood up to the time they closed the doors. Bad grades for the the cleaning crew making us wait so long, for the gate personnel for keeping us in the dark and the disorganized process boarding. Nobody cared about our discomfort, not what we would have expected from LH. Consequently, we've revised our opinion of Luthansa. Maybe next time we'll take BA."

Prior to this an announcement said they were refueling and we should not fasten our seat belts in that process. There was no announcement to say the fueling had been completed or who we were leaving later than scheduled. All of a sudden we just began the pushback from the gate."

As I am a vegetarian I was not able to request one. So I was woken up to people talking and eating and I could not myself eat anything. The "dimmed" cabin lights were bright. Crew members were not respectful of passengers sleeping as they talked in normal voices. I also found it very rude that I asked a crew member for a pillow and he said they didn't have any without even checking. Which I don't believe. Overall it was an awful experience and I will never fly Aeromexico again. I am going to tell all my friends and family to never fly this airline."

You need at least 3-4 hours to clear customs and even if you get to the gate with 10min to departure AM will not let you on the flight. This airline has a near monopoly in Mexico and they do not treat customers with the care and attention western travelers are accustomed to. I travelled SF to Buenos Aires and both on my way down and back they made me loose my connection, which added an 11 and 9 hour layover respectively. The airport in MX is full of low level employees who cannot make a decision, nor rectify a wrong, even if they agree with you. THE WORSE TRAVELLING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. Too bad because their on board service is good and they have a state of the art fleet (I flew the 787 dreamliner). Don't do it..."

Pros: "When shopping for an airline to travel Lima Peru try AeroMexico. If you do not mind a connection through Mexico City AeroMexico is the one for you and price is good. Tacha and avianca airlines are also great alternatives for traveling to Peru. If you don't mind connections. For a straight flight try LAN for flying to Lima Peru they are the best."

Cons: "My flight got delayed by almost 2 hours. Mist my connection. They didn't want to put me on an other flight. They said to me I had lost my ticket, stayed at the airport going from manager to manager for 7 hours. Had to buy my self an other round trip. Ended up staying the night in Mexico. Worst experience I ever had after been traveling all around the world. Will never fly Aeromexico again and will let everyone know how bad this aero line is."

Cons: "We arrived in Mexico City 4 hours ahead of our flight, but it wasn't until boarding at the gate that we were told we needed to pay a reciprocity fee and WE WERE DENIED OUR CONNECTING FLIGHT. Only the people at the gate seemed to know about this -not the information desk, not the Immigration desk, and NOT the attendent at SFO that gave us our customs form but NO information about this fee. After being denied, we were told by Aeromexico that we had to contact our travel agency (kayak or airfare.com) but when we called they said we had to talk to the airline. We were stranded in another country! We then had to rebook the entire flight over again which cost us over $4000!!!! Yet, our flights, seats, and confirmation number did not change! TOTAL SCAM. We met other Americans that had the same issue. Once back in the United States we plan to use all means available to us to fight these charges. We won't be bookin more travel with Aeromexico, and likely not using Kayak ever again."

Pros: "Going through customs and immigration was a breeze in Mexico City. The line was long, but moved quickly. I liked having blanket on the flight."
Cons: "You could tell that flight attendants really didn't want to be there. The airport at Mexico City has a light smell of a potty that was noticeable right after deplaning and never went away."

I had to spent over 300$ in hotels and gas to get to Miami to obtain a new passport."

When I booked my flights to Spain the website should have alerted me that I needed a passport with an expiration date of over 3 months. Kayak should have information on travel policies to the countries they offered flights to."

Cons: "My flight Paris/London/Manchester?Chicago was the mos impleasant experience I ever had. On July the flight was schedule for 9...pm then delayed for two hours because of a fire, other passengers said, in London. At around 11pm, we were asked to line up for boarding. We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone."

Cons: "I was very upset when travelling from Mumbai to London, Heathrow, because the crew in Mumbai did not send my baggage directly to Toronto and I had to go through the whole process of checking in Montreal to travel to Toronto, which was my last destination."

Cons: "The metal entertainment boxes where your feet go- io am 183cm and the boxes don’t allow me to stretch my legs"

Pros: "They may not always tell you everything, but they seem to think of their passengers first. I was worried about getting my bag out of the overhead bins which ended up three rows ahead of me. I thought I was going to have to exit the plane from the rear since that was how I entered and wondered how I would get my bag. Turns out this was not the case as everyone would exit from the front."
Cons: "Being seated at the rear of the plane. This was not the flight seat I chose and paid for at booking originally. Do not know what happened with that. I needed to make an international connection within an hour and half for boarding and was nearly the last off the plane. Made it just fine, but felt lucky airport seemed not so busy. I am not sure about pre-booking seats being worth it as my way home I did not seem to get any of them."

Cons: "It would be nice if someone cared about something. It didn't seem like anyone liked their job or cared about the passengers. All seemed like corporate greed. I have flown over 40,000 miles this year. This was the most unsatisfactory flight. Come on guys, create a good environment for a win win situation. Happy passengers make more money for the corporation in the end."

Pros: "Flew with partner Aer Lingus. Extremely comfortable, good food, good entertainment, great crew."

Cons: "I tried watching movies. However, the movie would start fast forwarding itself and skipping to the end without anyone or anything touching the screen or armrest. It happened multiple times and the crew reset my monitor twice before it started working properly. Towards the very end of my flight it started happening again. Very frustrating for such a long flight."

Pros: "The crew above all were cordial, warm and approachable. Not only to the passengers, but to one another. They all seemed to get along really well with one another and that set the tone for a long but comfortable flight. It's probably one of the most memorable of all my flights b/c the experiences."
Cons: "Better in flight food choices. Maybe I should've purchased a meal. Will definitely order a meal the next time I fly on BA. And maybe a different seat type so that it's more comfortable."

Cons: "I was not able to select my seat until 24 hours before the flight without paying, which I think is ridiculous. Once I checked in 24 hours before, I was still not able to select my seat. The problem was related to me booking through a partner airline. The partner (American Airlines) couldn't help me because they couldn't access the BA seats. And BA couldn't help me on the phone to select my seat for some other reason (I can't remember). I had to wait until I got to JFK a few hours before the flight, by which time all the seats were filled and I was stuck in a middle seat. Basically, I think there needs to be better communication or coordination between BA and their partner airlines to help customers before the flight, and also it is absurd to charge $35 to choose their seat."

Cons: "This flight was delayed for 3 hrs which meant I would miss 2 onward connections-- had to be re- booked on American"

Pros: "Boarded easily plenty of room for bags"
Cons: "All snacks and drinks cost money! Paid for extra legroom row but my knees still touched seat in front of me. Exceptionally poor aircraft configuration - business class had center seats blocked. Remove those rows and make business class 2x2 and I will consider buying it."

Pros: "Hard to say after they lost my luggage, cramped space, no leg room because of electronics box under seat, then the person in front of me decided to recline all the way back on a 12 hour flight. So I lost my luggage, and had some smelly stranger practically laying on my lap for 12 hours. Talk about insult to injury!"
Cons: "They forced me to check my bag, even before I boarded the plane and said there wouldn't be any room. Then they lost my bag. Worst thing I ever did was listen to the lady at the ticketing booth! Also, the way they do boarding is a total joke. All they care about is their first class passengers. For the rest, it's a free for all! Terrible, even Southwest has more organization! Sputhwest might not have assigned seating, but they're much more organized and significantly cheaper. How do you lose someone's luggage British Airways?!?!?!!!"

Pros: "Staff are all great. No fuss and every thing on time."
Cons: "It's economy class and always cramped. Standards slipping in the toilets a little. Seats are getting worn. The entertainment choice could be better. Food quality has also gone down"

Pros: "BA always has the most pleasant and accommodating flight crew. They go out of their way to make me feel special on any flights I've taken with them. Other airlines should take note. Thanks for a great flight."

Cons: "The designer of the business class seats used by British Aiways is surely an acrobat who flies no longer that's two hours. And those at British Aiways who bought into this design probably don't fly at all. Passengers who are sitting in a window seat must literally walk over the passenger in the aisle seat in order to get to the aisle. Flight attendants must serve the passengers on window seats right over those sitting in the aisles. The seats are narrow, and if you're sitting in the aisle, you don't even have a space to put your bottle of water or reading glasses. I can go on and on. This is my last flight on British if I can manage."

Pros: "Love the plane--quiet, roomy, and very smooth."
Cons: "The business class seats wasted so much space by not creating a compartment. I sat rear facing, next to the window, and had no place to really access compartments which could have been next to the seat--instead it just drops off. Moreover, in flight, if you were sleeping and someone wanted to get out of their area, they would literally have to step over your legs. Who in the world designed this? Please ride AA's herring bone business class makeup, and see what a real business class cabin looks like."

Thanks. •Overall, there are too many other choices in airlines... I may just be one customer, but this is one less they'll have, as other major carriers haven't ever racked up this amount of annoyances in a single trip with me before."

Pros: "Flight attendant, Billy, on flight to Chicago encouraged everyone to help each other figure out how to manage close connection times due to a long delay leaving Charlottesville. He then arranged for folks with short times to move forward. We would never have made our connection without him. Gate agents also kept the door open for us as we dashed to our connecting flight and hustled us on board. Amazingly the ground crew also got our luggage transferred in the short 10 minutes we had. Thank you American!"

On the flight from Mex City to LAX the bathroom facilities were so limited that some Economy class passengers had to try to use the business class or first class facilities' An FA then came on the intercom and said Economy class must only use their own facilities and this is according to an FAA regulation. THat is a straight out lie. If you eliminate bathrooms from Economy class to squeeze in more seats this problem will persist. American Airlines should be ashamed of itself."

Cons: "The plane was 2 hours late . It was in the hsngar. They said they were fixing the plane. It was an old plane. No Screen anywhere . It was 5.5 flight across country. Only pretzels. I will try not to fly American again."

Cons: "The automatic machines wouldn't check me in. The lazy who checked me in manually have me wrong information about my luggage. The affect on the Mexico side have me MORE wrong information about my luggage. Ultimately, my luggage was lost. Still waiting for them to find it."

Cons: "The most horrendous costumer service & treatment from AA employees aether in the LAX airport and on the phone by costumer service."

Pros: "And flight attendant was not helpful in mediating conflict."

Pros: "It was fine. I was comfortable and I slept throat most of it."

Cons: "Prior flight was late getting in, but that was not communicated to us at the gate, even though that would require disembarking of previous passengers and boarding of new ones to happen in 6 minutes. Clearer communication would be better."

Cons: "American Airlines left us more than 3 hours inside the plane at the gate to cancel the flight afterwards. They said it was a mechanical problem, and then told us it was just fixed and that they were just waiting for paperwork to be on our way. 3 hours later they decide to cancel the flight. Crappy communication with travelers, terrible attention at the counter to try to make new arrangements. Not a single American Airlines representative in customs to give orientation to the travelers having to go through the whole thing after the flight was cancelled. In summary, an epic mess. Will avoid AA when possible."
