*finally* getting rebooked

The aircraft was downgraded, so there were 12 "overbooked" seats. The flight was delayed several times, with each new delay only being acknowledged after the previous departure time had already passed. Eventually, the flight was "delayed" to 3:15, but then it was bumped BACK to 2:45, so one woman ended up missing the flight because she had gone to the lounge based on the 3:15 departure. I accepted a voucher, but as the original flight kept getting delayed and I couldn't receive the voucher until the doors closed, I almost missed the flight I was rebooked on. If airlines would just communicate better (e.g., tell us there's a delay *before the departure time has passed*), people would be much more willing to deal with the hassle.

NOTHING !! I lost my flight because in the email I received you all put the wrong airline on it and nobody took responsability for it . I ended up paying $311.00 to get the next flight back to Austin .

In the email it was stated that my first flight was with British Airways, so i wasted time making the wrong line . Only to get to the counter and waste more tome trying to find me in the system to then tell me my flight is with American Airline . I double check my email where it clearly shows: 1st flight-British Airway and 2nd flight-American Airline . This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with .

The flight was so short we did not even get a snack, only an offer of a bottle of water; this was simply due to to short length of the flight. Basic economy had my wife and I 16 rows apart each in a middle seat. I was in the very last seat on the plane. Flight attendants were attentive and surprisingly very nice, legroom is non-existent (same as every flight in plain coach).

High cost to prebook seats was twice what Spirit or Frontier would charge

seats - uncomfortable temperature - plane was way too hot arrived in Madison to no ground crew - had to wait almost 10 minutes to park and de-plane. Flight crew made the comment they weren't expecting us. Hmmm - it was a scheduled AA flight from ORD - MSN and it was pretty much on time????? Baggage claim - because of limited ground crew personnel wait time for bags was terrible slow.

Absolutely nothing, the flight was cancelled and the airline offered little or no assistance.

The flight was cancelled and we needed to return home for work the next day. It was the last flight out so we asked about a ground transportation voucher. The telephone agent told us to see the customer service rep at the terminal counter. After waiting inline for almost 45 minutes we asked an agent who was standing there about a voucher. She checked with a supervisor and said they would not provide them, we would have to wait to see an agent. Rather than miss the next bus to be delayed another 2 hours waiting for someone to tell us they wouldn't do anything for us, we left the line and purchased bus tickets. We had to pick up our luggage at the airport because we 'missed' our flight rather having it delivered. We understand flight cancelations but at no time during the process, especially at the airport, did we ever get the impression that anyone cared about us or what happened to us. We will avoid this airline.

Decent boarding group, same snacks, same flight attendants (who were very nice)

My only gripe is that paying for an assigned seat is only allowed 48 hours before takeoff and costs at least $30, twice what Spirit charges to allow you to select a seat during booking, so it is worse. No one watched us to ensure that we didn’t use the overhead bins (a stipulation of the fare) but we did comply anyway. We chose to take our chances and were assigned seats at the gate 16 rows apart and both in the middle seat.

Absolutely nothing, the flight was cancelled and the airline offered little or no assistance.

The flight was cancelled and we needed to return home for work the next day. It was the last flight out so we asked about a ground transportation voucher. The telephone agent told us to see the customer service rep at the terminal counter. After waiting inline for almost 45 minutes we asked an agent who was standing there about a voucher. She checked with a supervisor and said they would not provide them, we would have to wait to see an agent. Rather than miss the next bus to be delayed another 2 hours waiting for someone to tell us they wouldn't do anything for us, we left the line and purchased bus tickets. We had to pick up our luggage at the airport because we 'missed' our flight rather having it delivered. We understand flight cancelations but at no time during the process, especially at the airport, did we ever get the impression that anyone cared about us or what happened to us. We will avoid this airline.

The very last seat doesn't lean back because of thewall.

*finally* getting rebooked

The aircraft was downgraded, so there were 12 "overbooked" seats. The flight was delayed several times, with each new delay only being acknowledged after the previous departure time had already passed. Eventually, the flight was "delayed" to 3:15, but then it was bumped BACK to 2:45, so one woman ended up missing the flight because she had gone to the lounge based on the 3:15 departure. I accepted a voucher, but as the original flight kept getting delayed and I couldn't receive the voucher until the doors closed, I almost missed the flight I was rebooked on. If airlines would just communicate better (e.g., tell us there's a delay *before the departure time has passed*), people would be much more willing to deal with the hassle.

As a first time traveler, it would have been nice to have a little help with navigating the airport once I arrived.

Decent boarding group, same snacks, same flight attendants (who were very nice)

My only gripe is that paying for an assigned seat is only allowed 48 hours before takeoff and costs at least $30, twice what Spirit charges to allow you to select a seat during booking, so it is worse. No one watched us to ensure that we didn’t use the overhead bins (a stipulation of the fare) but we did comply anyway. We chose to take our chances and were assigned seats at the gate 16 rows apart and both in the middle seat.

not much - other than it was a very quick flight

seats - uncomfortable temperature - plane was way too hot arrived in Madison to no ground crew - had to wait almost 10 minutes to park and de-plane. Flight crew made the comment they weren't expecting us. Hmmm - it was a scheduled AA flight from ORD - MSN and it was pretty much on time????? Baggage claim - because of limited ground crew personnel wait time for bags was terrible slow.
