There weren't even options for me to pay the outrageous pick a seat option when I was doing my preflight check in 24 hours in advance."

She joyfully told me that it costs $40 to carry my luggage and after I informed her that I saw it online for less she informed me that I should have bought it online. She then stuck me all the way in the last row of the plane. I am 5'9". My husband is 6'2" and over 300 pounds. Those seats have the least leg room. It was pure torture. The flight crew in the back help my poor husband by using humor to help him."

My whole body was aching after the 4.5 hour flight. The flight attendants had no proper attire I could not even recognize who was a crew member and who wasn't unless I looked really hard at their badge hanging around their neck. They did not treat us professionally as well, complete lack of respect . This does not cost money to the company to improve."

Will never fly with them especially when you factor in the bag fee of 60 I could have taken a better airline"

Lastly, we were informed the flight pattern changed and we'd have to wait for more fuel. 1 hr delay due to the tray table repair and ill preparedness of the mechanical staff."

Cons: "We chose not to "purchase" seats so as to keep the flight price low. What I did not realize in that is how close we came to almost not having a seat. About an hour before the flight came the inevitable "we are overbooked and will compensate for anyone who wants to take a different flight". Shortly afterward came the announcement that the plane they were expecting was significantly smaller than anticipated and the last 30 people to check in who did not purchase a seat would be bumped - too bad so sad. Fortunately for us we had checked in right at the 24 hour mark and were not part of that group of 30. Bag fees are quite high and size limitations are much more stringent - we needed to use different suitcases so as to not exceed their maximums."

I was able to bring my own water, snack, and in flight movie which made the flight very enjoyable. The flight crew on both flights were very helpful, professional, and even entertaining. My ratings for food and entertainment were poor simply because they didn't offer them."

We still had our daughter to the airport within 15 minutes of the originally scheduled flight. The attendant was also rude to her, once she was able to get her off her (personal) phone. I believe they should have actually apologized for the inconvenience instead of charging her. This airline is the WORST."

She talked to me like I was a complete moron and apologized that another Spirit team in Orlando "didn't do their job properly but O'Hare employees follow the rules". Cons: "I didn't appreciate the delay due to a shortage of flight staff. We were traveling with three little ones. It is important to maintain your schedule just as we do ours. Also, I didn't appreciate having to drag my check-in baggage to another area - another inconvenience. By the time I add up fees and inconvenience, along with long lines trying to get through security, it doesn't seem like such a great deal."

Pros: "The only thing I liked about this flight was that I was going to Florida."
Cons: "Everything about the flight was wrong, they charge you for everything, even water. Pay the price to fly another airline that will Atleast give you a bag of peanuts. Spirit wants to charge for every possible thing they can once you've got your ticket and you're stuck with them. Then change your gate 5 min before take off and make you listen to the staff TRY to be the last comic standing. Never again will I fly with these guys. $75 for a check in bag? Then another $5/10 per person for snacks? The flight was $50 cheaper then anyone else but luckily it wasn't an emergency flight and I had extra money on me."
Pros: "this flight was on time. they loaded very fast for having a full flight."
Cons: "when I checked in at the Kiosk, it told me I didn't have an assigned seat, to see the gate attendant. was disappointed I was put in the last row when I booked very early for this flight"
Pros: "I liked nothing of this flight."
Cons: "Constant delays, no one had an update, the boards were not showing updates. Looked like a bunch of clowns running in circles. Very poorly run outfit."
Pros: "The tickets are cheap but they have a ton of hidden expenses. I do like that you can check in early however, it saves time at the airport but if you are checking a bag you stand in a line anyway."
Cons: "The seats are super uncomfortable. If you are taking a short flight for a weekend trip this wouldn't be a bad choice but if you have to take luggage and have longer trips it's terrible."
Pros: "Price was good and everyone was friendly"
