All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.

Weather I can understand, but telling us we are waiting on a specific crew to arrive and then announcing that crew is not for our flight was just terrible communication. No one seemed apologetic. The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."

I understand the flight attendants need to eat, but our flight was delayed prior to their landing and this added an additional delay. In total my flight was delayed about 2.5 hours."

When I called to see if I could get a credit for the flight, so I could fly later, I was told NO. I was given the option of rebooking the flight by the end of October or I would loose the cost of the ticket or have to pay a $100 change fee. Frontier refused to waive the fee and I couldn't rebook by October because I am a college student and won't be on break and off work again for a few months. No care for a customer under an extreme weather situation. Buyer beware...a cheap ticket is no consolation when you loose your money. I will avoid flying with them. LOST CUSTOMER!!!"

Cons: "First time flying with Spirit, only thing I did not care for was the prices for checked on luggage. $45 for carry on luggage and $40 for checked luggage? Although paying for this service gets you on the plane quicker"

The person behind me, continually drove his knees into the back of my seat, due to lack of leg room. Couldn't depart due to a broken tray table. Had to wait for maintenance to arrive to repair it. Lastly, we were informed the flight pattern changed and we'd have to wait for more fuel. 1 hr delay due to the tray table repair and ill preparedness of the mechanical staff."

Cons: "We chose not to "purchase" seats so as to keep the flight price low. What I did not realize in that is how close we came to almost not having a seat. About an hour before the flight came the inevitable "we are overbooked and will compensate for anyone who wants to take a different flight". Shortly afterward came the announcement that the plane they were expecting was significantly smaller than anticipated and the last 30 people to check in who did not purchase a seat would be bumped - too bad so sad. Fortunately for us we had checked in right at the 24 hour mark and were not part of that group of 30. Bag fees are quite high and size limitations are much more stringent - we needed to use different suitcases so as to not exceed their maximums."

Cons: "I wouldn't necessarily fly spirit but it had amazing direct flight times too and from Chicago. I didn't like the upselling of MasterCard at the end of each flight. It made the airline sound cheaper than it already is. I wouldn't fly with them again unless it had an app to check in online and use as a boarding card. Again another way to make money is by charging to print boarding passes."

I figured I would give it another shot because they are extremely inexpensive. NEVER EVER EVER EVER again! I would rather pay 3x more to fly with any other airline. They were so disorganized. They overbooked the flight, they ran late. The fees are ridiculous. It's not worth it even if it is cheaper"

Pros: "If you are taller than 5'5" you better pay extra for seats with more leg room! My son, who is 6'1" couldn't sit in his seat facing forward. I couldn't even open my laptop all the way because there wasn't enough room to! Spirit offers cheaper flights but by the time you finish paying for all seats, luggage, boarding passes you are paying the same as other major airlines."
Cons: "They made me loose 2 hours at O'Hare because they were (according to TSA) "the only airline that doesn't work with E-boarding passes, I had to stand in 3 different lines for a total of 2 hours, I find it very upsetting plus the fact that they are outdated, everyone uses they're phone to travel this days, thanks for making my day longer than expected, I barely had a chance to eat before getting on the plane, BECAUSE their on flight menu is basically vodka and M&M's, no real food at all, very unpleasant"

Then change your gate 5 min before take off and make you listen to the staff TRY to be the last comic standing. Never again will I fly with these guys. $75 for a check in bag? Then another $5/10 per person for snacks? The flight was $50 cheaper then anyone else but luckily it wasn't an emergency flight and I had extra money on me."
