Beware. We missed that you have to pay for carry on luggage. And for seats. So this ended up not being such a deal.

The flight overall was great, easy to board and de-board, and a smooth process from start to finish.

Connecting to the in-flight wi-fi to watch movies and tv shows was nearly impossible.

The flight attendant was really Nice

The agent at the gate were not helpful, we somehow got seats at opposite ends of the plane. Rowm17 and row 40.

My flight got delayed twice, spent the day at the airport. And got fired from my job thanks kayak!

Cheapest flight is a win in my book. You get what you pay for and I paid to get there. Crew was nice, flight not so bad. Would only recommend this airline for flights less than 3 hours.

I was in Boarding Group 1, only to get on the plane after multiple priority groups. I pay a premium to sit in the front, and there isn't any overhead space for my bag, I have to stow my bag several rows back only to be going against all the passengers trying to board. (The same confusion when trying to retrieve my bag when getting off, passengers going forward while I need to go back to get my bag). The flight attendants need to be checking where passengers are putting their bags! Get rid of priority boarding!

There were a few of us, in our section, that told the flight attendant that it was uncomfortablly warm in our section. The back section of the plane seemded cool, so we didn't think the ac was broken. We just thought our section was not adjusted properly.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

1) Although flights are fairly low fare, they get you with baggage. Had to pay to check OR to carry-on. 2) Flew out of Chicago O'Hare - a major hub - and Frontier, Spirit, Virgin America, & Alaskan all shared a SINGLE security check. Yes ladies and gentleman, one security scanner. I have never in my life (usually fly American, United, or Southwest) waited more than 30 minutes to get through security. This time was well over an hour, I almost missed my flight. 3) On-board staff was friendly (all but one woman), but there were no complimentary beverages or snacks. I did pay for some & they were not too pricey, but having to whip out my credit card yet again made my whole travel experience feel far from effortless.

Original ticket price was cheaper than any other, and flight time options were great for an early flight out or late flight in, etc.

Cheap and cheap. O'hare has an awful set-up for bag check and security for frontier/spirit/virgin/other cheap airlines together. You wait to print, then wait to check, then wait to drop your own bags (with zero instruction or customer service or signage), then wait for security. They hate for EVERYTHING: just to check in for your flight and pick a seat. $11-17-37 to sit together. Each. And then for bags. $35 to check and $60 to carry on (makes no sense) even when checking in online early. And even more cost to have both checked and carry on. And seats don't recline, that costs more. And have a 4inch by 5 inch-ish tray table. And EVERYTHING costs money onboard from WATER to Pepsi to snacks. It cost an extra $92 each way for two of us to check in and check one small bag. My back hurts and I will ALWAYS pay a bit more for another airline.

The price was the main reason behind booking. We thought we were getting a great deal on airfare from Chicago to Vegas, and it was a great base fare.

The add-ons are where they get you. Pay to check a bag, and then when your bag returns to you demolished (seriously, they broke a wheel off my boyfriend's bag, which has been on many trips via other carriers with no damage, and they tore all the trim off my bag, which i have used for hardcore travel almost monthly). Pay to get decent seating. Pay for refreshments--that's right folks, if you want water on this flight, it'll cost you. Gate agents were huddling, talking to each other while we waited at the front of the line and folks stacked up behind us. Unprofessional. I'm sticking with Southwest from now on. No thanks, frontier.

The airline hostess were very pleasant and accommodating.

Ticket employee did not check my ticket and half of it did not print out so I got up to security and they wouldn't let me through because of my ticket. Ended up missing my flight. Luggage was also lost. Don't plan to fly with Spirit Airlines again.

Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)

I had to pay $200 for my luggage. This is the first time I travelled with Spirit Airlines and I was not aware about their baggage rules and regulation. Instead of charging me less, the crew was not very helpful. My Parents were aged and they did not had any option besides paying the huge sum,

Seat was oddly tilted forward making it feel as though I was being pushed out of the seat. In addition, seats are way too narrow. Makes you feel like a sardine crammed into a can.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Spirit airlines isn't worth the money you save

Last minute gate change before boarding that was unannounced. Seats super uncomfortable. No entertainment. One trip through selling water and beverages. Nothing complementary. Bathrooms and plane very dirty. Crew just chatted in the back the whole flight.
