Cons: "They changed my seats without telling me, even the day before my itinerary said I was in the first row of First Class by the window with my partner's seat right beside me and they switched it because of some policy that forbids dogs yet couldn't let me know that in July when I booked this and spoke to a representative on the phone to confirm I was even allowed to bring a dog on board. And even then they made me feel like it was not possible and had to stow my dog below in cargo because only one dog could be in the First Class section, and again I was never told that in that moment I couldn't have my dog in the first row. Also, the representative was very clear I had to have a health certificate for my dog to fly and not only did that cost me a large deal of money and time at the veterinarian's office, but no one ever even inquired to see it. I wasted time and money for no reason other than the incompetence exhibited by Alaskan Airlines, and it's surprising to have such consistent subpar service. Especially when you're paying for First Class. Also, your food on flight had several allergens in them. Even your choice of cookie for passengers had two different types of soy. This is a common food allergy. Needless to say, I'll be flying with another airline for my trips to Alaska, as this is not my only one planned."

Cons: "Flying with my husband and daughter. All of our seats were split apart even after calling to fix the issue. When I went up to the counter, the lady told me too bad, she couldn't ask someone in an isle seat to switch, but I could do it myself if I wanted. My daughter is 2, can't exactly sit by herself. Food service didn't begin until almost 2 hours into a 3 hour flight but it was in no way due to turbulence. After food service, no trash service came around until about a half hour before landing. Slowest moving crew I have ever seen in my life. Also, the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. I will never fly Alaska again."

Cons: "My initial flight was at 0800; I got to the gate before 0800 and was told I couldn't board the flight even though it was still at the gate and was still before the flight time. I had to pay to rebook my flight, spent over $200 in rides to and from airport, had additional parking fees and was several hours late to work. I have many family members who work in flight service so I understand that employees don't like to re-do paperwork; however, being there before the flight time and being denied cost a lot of work time and money. I have always had great experiences with Alaska so this one was quite a disappointment compared to their usual great service. :("

Cons: "Our second time on a 787 Dreamliner across the Atlantic as about the same as the the first. The seat pitch is very tight so when a passenger reclines into the next row the seatback nearly touches your face. The Dreamliner seats seem to be very hard and it's difficult to get comfortable."

It seems so simple but with the morning I had, this simple act had me in tears! The kindness and patience she showed me was amazing and definitely the reason I will always fly Delta to any and every destination they are able to take me! <3"

Cons: "I am a 5'3" 125# woman who, unfortunately, had a middle seat assignment. The passenger to my right, on the aisle, weighed approximately 375# and took up 1/3 of my seat. The arm was not able to go down comfortably, and when it did it was not usable . The passenger on my left, window seat, was probably 6'7" and had to sit with a man spread in order to fit. I could not move and was extremely uncomfortable. The plane was overbooked so I was unable to move. Therefore, worst flight ever. Plus, I paid for a full seat and was only able to occupy half of it."

Flights booked by one company and operated by another seem common enough that this system needs to be improved. - Silver KLM travelers Also WAY too hot on plane."

At this point, all planes crossing the ocean should have individual tvs for a customer to watch. They had this 15 years ago, how do they not have it now."

When we got onto to plane we were stuck on the runway for over 2 1/2 hours, where the outside temperature was 95 degrees and the AC in the plane didn't work. The delay was all due to a mechanical difficulty with the engine, this did not give us peace of mind when flying over the atlantic. while up in the air my newly wedded wife and I were hoping maybe we could watch a movie to help keep our minds off the creaking of the wings, the pool of sweat from the delay, and the grumpy flight attendants. Seeing as it was a 9 hour international flight, you would have expected some sort of entertainment. Maybe a personal TV.... nope. Maybe a community TV... nope. At least they have to have a radio....... nope. All we got were our two thumbs to twiddle. After a much needed nap. We woke up hoping maybe for a hot breakfast, but to put the cherry on top of some terrible ice cream, we got a mediocre cold breakfast. All in all I will not fly American Airlines again. I would happily and quickly pay double for any other airlines but them. It's such a poor reprisentation of our country."

Albuquerque Airline staff were rude, dismissive, incompetent, and each individual I spoke with gave me wildly differing information. The two delays (leading to approximately 48 hours of travel) would have been stressful enough, but the callous, ignorant and unprofessional attitudes of American Airlines staff (and staff in general at Chicago O'Hare Airport) really disappointed me. This was even more striking compared with the professional service I received from British Airways (from whom I purchased the tickets). I was ashamed that my country could lag so far behind in terms of basic customer service and problem solving."

Cons: "That small space!! This is a long flight and you have no room to move around at all!!!!!"

Cons: "I didn't get vegetarian food that I ordered over the phone and I did made sure that it said vegetarian Jain meal on the ticket that I printed. Very disappointed because no point ordering then. I paid $1234 for the trip. And I am traveling because of funeral."

Cons: "The first check in kiosk associate was turning us away because we reached 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. However, by then they knew that they were going to be at least 1 hour 30 minute late. Then when kayak emailed us about the delay, the check in people let us in. Ultimately the flight was three hours late."

Pros: "I liked that we didn't crash into snowy mountains. I like that we landed."
Cons: "OMG. First class seat "broken" - wasn't really able to lean back because it went "too far" into row behind me. Nope - that's actually how the chair is designed. Was asked to sit upright the entire 7 hour flight. IFE spotty at best. It kept rebooting and kicking me and others out. I guess food was "okay" as I honestly don't remember it at all. This is my last of 10 years at 1K with United. Moving airlines this year."

Pros: "Boarding and crew attendants were courteous and helpful. Flight left on time and arrived early. Luggage arrived and my time inChicago was short."
Cons: "Seats crowded but I was fortunate to not have a person in middle seat. Implied tv was free but system kept asking for my credit card."

Pros: "United delivered us to Anchorage so late that we missed the very last flight out of Anchorage to Homer. We had to pay for a hotel room and full price tickets to fly the very next morning. Because United delivered us to Anchorage so late, we had to spend so much money on the hotel and next day flights. Until this point I have always been happy with United but I don't think we can go with United anymore after this."

Cons: "While going inside the flight they told me there is no room for Carryon and gave me ticket to book the luggage. When I went inside the Flight there is lot of room to carryon's, why they have to lie this BS."

Cons: "The fact that I had to pay to watch tv. Maybe people should have to pay for movies, but not for watching tv. Flights and till we takeoff can take a while. It would be nice to have some free entertainment. The plane was very hot when we were boarding."

Cons: "The seats are tiny. If you drio something, you can't reach down to pick it up. The food was burnt. The app isn't downloadable in China. The overall experience makes me not want to ever fly United again."

With the first 10 rows basically completely empty (only 8 people in the front 60 seats) That flight to anchorage arrived an hour early which is awesome, but we had to wait 45 min on the plane "for an empty gate" they said. There were at least 4 empty gates I could see from my window in the sand terminal we ended up deboarding at. Very frustrating"

Cons: "Crew was rude, not just to me, but to other patrons. Flight was packed going and the man scanning boarding passes spoke to those of us asking simple questions as if we were stupid and defiant. Was he a prison guard in his previous job? On the way to Newark, I had an aisle seat. One of the stewardesses blazed by me with a cart ramming it into my shoulder without so much as a, "sorry." I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

Cons: "Having a leg brace makes difficult I am blessed I can move a little without them. I had to move a short distance without my brace. No place to put it back on."

Pros: "Pilot was very happy and friendly! Very informative throughout flight."
Cons: "On the return home, I was seated in the last row right next to the lavatory. I was bumped into at least 40 times by other passengers and flight attendants."

Cons: "Weather delays are a typical part of travel. What's not typical are 5+ hour delays and sitting on the tarmac and watching your connection take off without you. First Class seats morphed into Economy center seats the next day, with nary a hotel room in sight. Thanks for nothing."

Cons: "This flight never happened it continued to get canceled and canceled!!"

Cons: "We got on board, waited 20 minutes. Capt said it was a bad reverser, and we were waiting on paperwork for 15 minutes. Long story short, they make us leave the plane after 2.5 hours. Then we wait in the airport for another 2.5 hours. I missed my connection and spent 10 hours in Chicago."

Pros: "The flight attendant finally took care of it after I complained a couple of times."
Cons: "That you changed our seats, and, that there was no room in any of the overhead bins. So, the flight attendant told me that I needed to fight my way through the people coming toward me back up the aisle and check every overhead bin all the way back up to see if there was room for my one suitcase. Others had brought more than one bag up there. Finally they checked my one carry on bag. The ride was also really bumpy, worst that we've ever experienced. But that was due to weather conditions."

Cons: "Everything! Even worse than my previous flight. Delays were inexcusable, staff ridiculously unfriendly and just bad attitudes all round. Very unpleasant experience, won't be using this airline ever again."

Cons: "The flight from ORD to ABE was on a plane with expired maintenance logs or inspections? We were delayed 2 hours in arriving for what seemed like a pilots lax in paperwork. But what does a customer expect from an airline who knows they that customer by the balls?"

Cons: "The flight was late by 5 hrs due to mechanical problems. The gate crew was confused about what to do and we ended up with several deboardings and boardings. Food was terrible. The entertainment system did not work."

Cons: "For such a long flight and quite expensive some food should be provided. I have never flown before like that (over hundreds of overseas flights) and had NO FOOD given at all."

Cons: "The lady at desk to board the flight made me check my carry on. I had assumed it was because the plane was full, but when I got on the plane there were more than adequate spots to stow more bags. There was a compartment across from my seat that remained open the entire flight. While I completely understand the need to check extra luggage when the plane is full, I was very upset when I saw it was not. I intentionally fly with a carry on for the convenience, and to be inconvenienced for absolutely no reason made me not want to fly with this company again for fear it could happen again in the future."

Pros: "The flight crew was very helpful and organised the connection between two flights very well under pressing circumstances when there was only 15 min between the flights and the boarding gates being in opposite ends of a big Munic airport"
Cons: "The flight was delayed for 2 h, so we had to run through Munic airport for connected flight. Good sport, but rather tiresome."

Cons: "8 channels of looped shows and movies. Too long a flight for that...and then have to use my device to watch on the free part of the wifi.so no battery left. For this price? And I booked through Lufthansa but flew United. Bad form."

Cons: "-The 767 was old. -It did not have any power ports for my laptop or cell phone. -The interior was old and dated, reminiscent of the 1980's. -The TV screen for entertainment seemed to be smaller than a Samsung Note 5. -The seats are unreasonably narrow and not comfortable. -I had an isle seat and my shoulder width is literally wider than the seats. -Every time the isle cart went by, it hit my left shoulder. -The seats in general seating are too small and were cramped. -God forbid if we had to egress out of the plane. -There were no adjustable head rests, like other airlines have. -The Flight Attendant for my section DID NOT make me feel like I was a valued customer, even though I paid over $1500 for flight. -She scolded me for asking "Why," when she TOLD me that I needed to sit in one seat, even though the seat next to me was vacant. She literally treated me like a child. - NOT COOL. Overall, in comparison to my last international flight, I WOULD NOT recommend United. I feel like I paid too much for my experience with United. Aer Lingus has better/newer aircraft, better cabin crew, better entertainment selections to include music and a selection of movies to watch at your convenience, more comfortable seats, provide a better environment, and a better value for your experience. Aer Lingus was also cheaper. So if you are reading this, please shop around if you are considering United to fly."
