Cons: "Auxiliary generator broken so plan got hot very quickly. Flight was 2.5 hrs delayed due to another mechanical failure. And then once we were in air they generously notified us that the WiFi was broken. Utter garbage."

Cons: "My seat was full of crumbs when I boarded, hair was sticking out of the magazine in front of me. I wish there was some cleaning/disinfecting of the plane prior to a new flight boarding. It's flu season and that's exactly what I got 2 days after flying home. I gave the food and entertainment 1 star as I didn't use either. Should be a NA option."

Pros: "My flight out of Chicago was delayed for about 3 hours and was no way I was going to catch my connecting flight in Seattle. I called Alaska airlines customer service and they were able to get me rescheduled on two new flights from Chicago to Fairbanks the very next day!! Excellent!!"

Cons: "This flight was first delayed, then not listed on the reader board. Then the flight added a stop over in Seattle for the the only reason that the crew was maximizing their allowed time to work. This delayed arrival at final destination. They could have brought on a fresh crew in Chicago but they did not do that."

I'd I can hear them so can the other passengers. I will say my flight from Seattle to Anchorage was better. The Chicago to Seattle had me on the verge of tears. I think Delta may be choice to travel from now on. . I don't like paying all that $$ to be treated like I'm an irritation or nuisance on Mother's Day no less."

Wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't only have 1 attendant working the baggage claim desk at RIC, causing me to stand in line for 30 minutes for them to essentially yell me that they had no clue where my bag was. If I had realized the second leg of the trip was overseen by American Airlines and not an Alaska affiliate, I would have likely chosen another flight."

Pros: "After we got off the airplane, the flight attendants went out of their way to help a woman who had trouble understanding English find and get to the baggage claim. The service and kindness exemplified by the staff really made the whole experience wonderful."

Pros: "One of the flight crew sang us an original song just before landing. It included directions on safety etc. and it was delightful, funny and sweet. Then when I was in the terminal two of the same crew helped me figure out how to get to baggage claim."

This was confirmed by Alaska personnel at ORD after exiting plane. Waited for 25 minutes. No bag. Inquired again with Alaska personnel at baggage claim. Was told bags were at carousel 5. Huh? Screwed up my evening plans."

Pros: "The turkey sandwich I had was made with actual sliced turkey, not deli meat. This was a treat for airplane food, and it wasn't very overpriced. It was also a very spacious, comfortable flight. The crew were very friendly and helpful. Alaska is definitely one of my preferred airlines."

After experiencing cancellations on other flights, this was by far the worst. The $150 cancellation charge on Alaska is unbelivable and the insurance KAYAK provided through Allianz was awful."

Cons: "Our second time on a 787 Dreamliner across the Atlantic as about the same as the the first. The seat pitch is very tight so when a passenger reclines into the next row the seatback nearly touches your face. The Dreamliner seats seem to be very hard and it's difficult to get comfortable."

He neither said yes nor no, but rather completely ignored what I said and just poured my drink and moved on. I was a mildly annoyed, but figured maybe it was policy and he was shy and didn't want to debate the matter. When he took care of the older couple behind us, however, things got really strange. He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Very weird."

Cons: "I am a 5'3" 125# woman who, unfortunately, had a middle seat assignment. The passenger to my right, on the aisle, weighed approximately 375# and took up 1/3 of my seat. The arm was not able to go down comfortably, and when it did it was not usable . The passenger on my left, window seat, was probably 6'7" and had to sit with a man spread in order to fit. I could not move and was extremely uncomfortable. The plane was overbooked so I was unable to move. Therefore, worst flight ever. Plus, I paid for a full seat and was only able to occupy half of it."

Pros: "AeroMexico ended up with the best rates for travel between U.S. and South America. I liked the complimentary entertainment system ( flight would have seemed longer without it ) and the complimentary food. The flights were on time ( even though I realize that there are things beyond one's control at times ), and the staff was courteous."
