All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.

He neither said yes nor no, but rather completely ignored what I said and just poured my drink and moved on. I was a mildly annoyed, but figured maybe it was policy and he was shy and didn't want to debate the matter. When he took care of the older couple behind us, however, things got really strange. He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Very weird."

When speaking on phone with agent, I was told it wasn't due to weather but incident at LaGuardia where plane went off runway. I paid $130.00 for 5 hours in a hotel, due to pilot error, not weather. La Guardia opened it's other runway immediately after and other airports in NewYork were running fine. Completely unacceptable and extremely bad customer service as CSR simply told us "sorry we can't help". Will never book with West Jet again."

I didn't purchase a sandwich but on the outbound flight, the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using on-board Wifi, as well as 2 TV shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."

We still had to carry them over to the men who actually sorted and loaded our luggage. Other airlines print out our baggage tags at kiosks along with our boarding passes, so we can immediately apply them to out luggage ourselves and then hand them over to the loaders. If Spirit Airlines had that feature at least two-thirds of us would not have had to wait hours in line."

I switched my seat to the back of the plane for a window seat and I didn't receive one. So I went thru tsa and got to the gate but then the stuffs on the counter told me the plane tickets were over booked and they were supposed to check me in, they had me waited there until the last one to check in to the plane, after I got seated I took around there were more than 10 empty seats in the plane which meant they lied and the stuffs were really rude ! !"

It was a very bad experience and they charged me extra money at the counter. They deducted $152 from my husband account online and I also gave them $45 cash at the counter and they also made me to miss my flight because of the delay. 70 kg luggage and I paid a total of $195. That's fraudulent."

By the time I got to the counter for my 553 AM flight, I was refused a boarding pass because I was there at 5:09 AM and missed the "45 minute" window before my flight to check in, EVEN though I had no bags to check or carry on, just a personal item. The customer service attendants at United and AA at ORD were SO KIND AND HELPFUL, and I wasn't even their customer. I will NEVER fly Sprit again as long as I live, and will continually discourage anyone who asks from using it. I am not a complainer (usually), but this was simply awful, and the customer service was worse."

Arguably my fault for not researching the airline to know about the fees, but at no point during my flight purchase process was I notified about the way Spirit airlines functions (i.e. you should only fly if you plan to bring nothing). But fine, after I realized the joke was on me, the process of updating my baggage status was a nightmare. And THEN...I called to add my TSA pre-check status, which the customer service rep took "and added" over the phone only to find our at the airport that "Spirit airlines doesn't do TSA pre-check." Overall just a frustrating and stressful experience."

Cons: "Because my flight was booked through Kayak, I DID NOT know about the many fees until the night before. I should have been able to get all the information days/weeks earlier. I paid $50 extra for a $75 flight - which was extra bad for me because I chose to take a 6 hour greyhound from St Louis to Chicago, instead of flying directly from STL to NYC. So, for just a bit more, my 12 hour travel day would have been reduced to 3 hours. The airplane was dirty and I swear to God, there was duct tape on the engine casing."
