But thankfully, lady who works for American Airlines solved my problem on the phone in couple of minutes easily. After that, when we were boarding to the aircraft, there was a cabin attendant lady. She came to us and ask me and my mother if we can talk English.I answered her with yes we can, but she demands to talk with my mother. And English is not her native language, but it doesn't prove that she doesn't know it. She tried to ask questions to her like, "where were you today?" so we couldn't really understand the reason for her to ask those questions in the first place. So we couldn't really say anything. While we were talking about my mother's English, the all aircraft was watching us, and trying to figure out what was going on. After all, she made us to sit there and wait her to replace us with other passengers. We waited the whole aircraft to be seated, then she took us to another seat with my mother. I can understand that it is her job but I'm not sure, if it had to be that much discomfort. We got pretty upset about it and it affects our flight quality. Plus, while cabin crew serving beverages, they didn't really ask us anything. We needed to call them for our order. To be honest, I would never flight with Delta. It was a disappointment."

The airplane was hot and stuffy with little airflow. They don’t offer any beverages to customers other than first class passengers citing COVID issues. There is no risk if COVID spread through giving each passenger a soda. It is incredibly unfair that first class passengers are served both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in cups but other passengers are not."

The captain had to finally, after several hours, come to the boarding area to inform all of us that there was problem that was not communicated correctly so we then had to wait an additional 2.5 hours more on top of the original 2.5 hour delay for the two certified mechanics on St. Croix to attest that the plane could fly. No one asked them to come earlier, so we waited for pretty much five (5) hours. We were promised meals and hotel in Miami. the Miami American Airlines service desk told us, sorry, there's so many people, we could not be accommodated. This is outrageous, and I want my money back. I paid for 4 people on that flight and we were treated horribly. On top of that....Cheapoair, representative from whom I bought the tickets, sold me tickets without my understanding that we only had 41 minutes to get off the original flight from Christiansted find the next flight and board it. We never would have made it. Final point, the Cheapoair guy who sold me the tickets charged me about 500 dollars more than what he said the cost was. He quoted and said "all in" 1150 per ticket (I bought 4 tickets). He then charged me nearly 5300 Again this is outrageous and a complete sham. I demand to be compensated for this."

Upon arrival in BOS none of the 4 gate checked strollers were located and brought to the waiting parents. We were then told by ground crew there were no gate checked items ragged and the strollers were put on baggage carousel. 20 mins after all bags were claimed there were still no strollers. Crew at baggage claim was notified and without letting us know what she was doing she walked away from the 4 sets of parents. She returned saying she didn't see them out back. We were asked to fill out lost luggage forms. As we began filling the forms the strollers came down the baggage claim without explanation of why no one could find them. Each one had the neon green gate check tag visible. This delay of almost 40 minutes caused me to miss my scheduled bus with a cranky infant."

They promptly passed out and, despite only waking after repeated attempts by the attendants so they could fasten their seat belts, were allowed to remain on the plane. 20 minutes into the flight one of them vomited, which was shocking to no one. Took 45 minutes before the luggage arrived (after a flight that got in at 9 o'clock)."

Cons: "Let's start with your website, which never functioned -- except to book my ticket. 30 minutes and numerous tries to get a seat, to pay for a carry on bag & the same "unable to process at this time" response. When I called, the gentleman lacked strong English as a second language skills -- and that ordeal took another 25 minutes. Nice as can be, but really struggled to figure out HOW to keep my seats, which were showing blocked + couldn't tell if the charge was processed. Then there's the lack of participation in the TSA Program, which means having to unpack three computers and ALL liquids... The cattle call boarding process -- even when you pay the upcharge. And the kinda crummy/dirty waiting area at LAX, from going through security so early -- to make sure I didn't miss my flight. The seats so lack support, I work up with a horrible back ache. Definitely bring a blanket or firm pillow -- if you have ANY back issues, which I don't. It's a start up airline, and they charge for everything but oxygen. So if you don't want to carry on, you don't mind the almost freight plane experience... This is probably a pretty good deal. AND they fly direct to Cleveland, which is always a good thing."

It is rediculous that they charge for bags and that they are the only airline with a 40 pound weight limit when all of the others are 50 pounds. All of this they claim saves you money on the fare, but with all of the nickel and diming that they do to you after you purchase the ticket, it is much more affordable to go with another airline. I will choose some one else to fly with next time."

It appeared that there were 5 employees at the counter but only 3 were checking people in. The TSA line was also very long and when it appeared that I was going to miss the flight, I expressed my concern to a Spirit agent who referred me to TSA who referred me back to Spirit. We were told we'd be re-ticketed at the gate. Finally, a large group of passengers who were in the same situation just moved to the head of the TSA line explaining our situation and enduring hostility from some of the other passengers. The gate was far away and I'm not able to run. The plane was held for us but the experience was MISERABLE. Spirit needs to have adequate staff to check people in and needs to press TSA to do the same. I've never had this experience on any other airline and I travel a lot and have for decades"

Carry-on is almost the same price as the ticket round way that i paid $130 Definitely not a great experience for an old man who only had $100 in his pocket expecting to pay $35 for his bag and you took almost all his money.
