She even brought it to me at the end of the flight. Service was excellent, the plane was newer and very comfortable. I am a pretty dedicated fan of another airline, but after this experience I will certainly consider Alaska for future flights."
Pros: "The crew was great. Only problem was we were in the back row and by the restrooms. The people who were going to the restroom didn't bother me. But there was one woman who just stood back there for over 30min. That was really annoying and should not be allowed. Made me really claustrophobic."

They could have brought on a fresh crew in Chicago but they did not do that."

She used the claim that the flight was overbooked and 20 people needed to check their bags, then threatened to randomly take them. Meanwhile, 60% of passengers were boarding without roller bags. When I boarded the plane, which was almost full, at least half the overhead bins were empty. I had already gate checked my bag to avoid a confrontation with this pushy lady. Ridiculous!"

Best part is we got to ANC almost a half hour early! Two thumbs up!!"

I got to the airport in Denver at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am flight to Atlanta, and the line to check a bag was about 40 people long. I waited 55minutes to check my bag, as they kept moving the ski priority people, and people in danger of missing their flight, to the head of the line. There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time."

Pros: "The cabin crew serving the main cabin were exceptional. They were efficient, kind and FUN. We were an hour late leaving and 2/3 of the plane was worried about tight connections. They handled it with grace giving each person their departing gate and asking everyone to let a gentleman off with a 10 minute connection. They made the flight memorably enjoyable."

Flights booked by one company and operated by another seem common enough that this system needs to be improved. - Silver KLM travelers Also WAY too hot on plane."

Cons: "I drove 5 hours to get to the airport and unfortunately ended up delayed because of traffic and slow shuttles from parking. I arrived 1 hour before the flight, but security was so slow I didn't get to the gat until 10 minutes before arrival. There were no gate agents present and despite banging on the gateway door and other Delta agents at the adjacent gate, no one helped me. I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER."

We got to the gate for our connecting flight 9 minutes before the pushed back from the ramp and they would not let us on??? WTF poor customer service!! Fly southwest from now on!"

So I am ultimately blaming American Airlines accountable since they, not Iberia or airfare.com, contracted with the food service provider at the airport."

Pros: "Kudos to the gate attendant for enforcing the carry on size limit! She required a passenger with a large bag to check it instead of hauling the oversize suitcase onboard. I wish more agents would be this diligent!"
Pros: "United customer service was able to to find alternative flights"
Cons: "My flights going to and coming back from New Orleans got delayed by a large amount of time both ways at nearly the last minute"
Pros: "Text notification of flight delays several hours in advance. Crew was exceptionally polite - I'd imagine this is a direct result of United's recent scandal. The scandal will eventually dissipate but hope the new crew attitude sticks around."
Cons: "Flight delayed twice. For a 5 1/2 hour flight only a 1/2 cup of water was offered/available. If salty snacks are the only thing being offered, 1/2 a plastic cup of water is impractical and just plain stingy."
Cons: "First flight delayed by 2 hours for crew rest; with no significant weather in Corpus Christi, from the night before, this shouldn't happen. I had to re-route, and arrived 5 hours after I was supposed to."

Cons: "Crew's facial expression were upsetting to see since they looked unhappy. Should I be worried about my flight?"
Pros: "I liked that we didn't crash into snowy mountains. I like that we landed."
Cons: "OMG. First class seat "broken" - wasn't really able to lean back because it went "too far" into row behind me. Nope - that's actually how the chair is designed. Was asked to sit upright the entire 7 hour flight. IFE spotty at best. It kept rebooting and kicking me and others out. I guess food was "okay" as I honestly don't remember it at all. This is my last of 10 years at 1K with United. Moving airlines this year."
Pros: "Boarding and crew attendants were courteous and helpful. Flight left on time and arrived early. Luggage arrived and my time inChicago was short."
Cons: "Seats crowded but I was fortunate to not have a person in middle seat. Implied tv was free but system kept asking for my credit card."
Cons: "For some reason, the crew was not letting anyone bring their carry-on bags onto the plane, but there was clearly enough space in the overhead bins. If there was an issue with putting stuff in the overhead bins, they should have explained why we couldn't bring our belongings with us instead of yelling at people for trying to bring stuff on the plane that had plenty of space. I saw 4 or 5 bins that were completely empty and that was in the back of the plane I don't know what it looked like closer to the cockpit. Either way, the gate crew was very rude to everyone and it was very unpleasant to experience. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback."
Cons: "Getting bk to anchorage @midnight instead of the origibal time of 2:00 due to not having a fuckin pilot in new orleans"

Cons: "Having to pay $7.99 for entertainment is ridiculous, especially on an international flight. Just one more way to gouge customers. Especially as a 1K flyer, having to pay for entertainment is just a slap in the face."
Pros: "United delivered us to Anchorage so late that we missed the very last flight out of Anchorage to Homer. We had to pay for a hotel room and full price tickets to fly the very next morning. Because United delivered us to Anchorage so late, we had to spend so much money on the hotel and next day flights. Until this point I have always been happy with United but I don't think we can go with United anymore after this."
Pros: "The flight crew on this route is one of the best that ive ever had the pleasure to have been served by. The ladies were extremely helpful and were always out helping serve the people"

With the first 10 rows basically completely empty (only 8 people in the front 60 seats) That flight to anchorage arrived an hour early which is awesome, but we had to wait 45 min on the plane "for an empty gate" they said. There were at least 4 empty gates I could see from my window in the sand terminal we ended up deboarding at. Very frustrating"

Cons: "We boarded our plane and during preflight check on the runway the captain learned there was mechanical error (in the right engine fuel something). The issue could not be solved and we had to change planes. On the second plane, the captain shared with travelers that "and two loose wires were found, so it's good we caught that and changed planes". What the heck? Shouldn't basic functions be checked before a plane is boarded? What was supposed to be a 1030 red eye, turned out to be a 1 AM bloodshot eye."
Pros: "Customer service was excellent,very friendly."
Cons: "Delay of the plane and every show you have to pay for even the flight map, that was very disappointing."
Pros: "It isn't that the food was "bad," it was just a very short flight, so there wasn't any food to speak of. And, because of the short flight, entertainment was nonexistent."
Pros: "Boarding was very fast and efficient. Seats were as expected on an airplane. The flight was only 45 minutes so there was no entertainment or food to really be able to rate them on it."

Pros: "Because of our incident in LV, This flight was out of Denver. The flight attendants were fantastic! The staff was very helpful, and was able to get seats together."

The United staff, at checkin counter and on plane could not have been nicer. Thanks for the snacks and sparkling water. In flight entertainment on phone, great! Please offer a Credit card without the $95.00 annual fee. I could become a regular."
Cons: "The fact that the tv is on constantly without the option to turn it off is annoying. The viewing length to passenger is too short to really enjoy (Probably not your fault). PLEASE permit us to turn it off. The constant repeating of the Dish commercials while in dead air space is so annoying I will never consider Dish as a provider.! Please play more than one entertaining video than repeating the one about alligators (crocodiles?)."

Pros: "The crew is AMAZING!!! Personal, professionals, they go above and beyond my personal standard of customer service. Very comfortable atmosphere. Not to be mistaken with the uncomfortable seats. I like to think United doesn't overlook the work ethic their employees represent the company with on a day to day basis."
Cons: "I travel for work from Grand Junction, Colorado to Dickinson, North Dakota every 4 to 6 weeks. I always fly United. On one occasion I met family in Colorado Springs, so I bought a round trip ticket from Dickinson to Colorado Springs. I missed the second half of my round trip flight from Colorado Springs to Dickinson. I had to pay my own cab fare from Colorado Springs to Denver to catch my flight, because your plane, that i paid for a flight on, had mechanical issues and didn't make it to Colorado Springs. Second, my flight in Denver was cancelled 3 times and almost a fourth. I all but got down on my knees and begged to catch the fourth flight they tried to cancel. Third, I didn't even get to fly into Dickinson. So instead of somebody coming and picking me up in Dickinson which is a 30-minute drive from where I work, somebody had to drive 3 hours to Williston where you guys ended up getting me. Which cost me 3 hours of gas money to get picked up, instead of 30 min of gas money. I didn't get either of the flights back to North Dakota that I paid for. I've asked for the reasonable request that I be refunded 50% of the cost of the airfare and the $235 it cost for cab fare. When I contacted United about this I got the runaround from everybody. At this point I've pretty much accepted the loss, and the financial hit. I'll continue to fly United only because it's pretty much my only option. Just make sure you keep the crew around. They're great. I'd hate for the experience to go from unsatisfying, to miserable."

Cons: "Felt like a sardine in a can only forgot to cover me in mustard sauce. I used to enjoy flying it is like pulling teeth to get me on a flight anymore. I WOULD RATHER DRIVE. But when you're dad's in the hospital you've got me by the balls."

Cons: "Waiting in line for 3 hours to get ticket marked as unused. Then had to pay for parking. Also, I understand the flight crew was late? And then, the plane, which had been there since the night before, failed mechanical test. It seems that the flight probably should have been tested for mechanical sound as before people got on and went through the icing and all of that."
