He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."

I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

Would not check ticket name vs profile name. Happened two consecutive flights. Flight tomorrow morning has no TSA Pre clearance on boarding pass. This will be three consecutive flights. Also seated me next to a person who needed 2 seats to himself. Please never seat me next to a passenger who cannot fit in their own seat. I am switching to SWA."

They handled it with grace giving each person their departing gate and asking everyone to let a gentleman off with a 10 minute connection. They made the flight memorably enjoyable."

They described how they waited until group 3 was called and then went right through. While we were waiting, we watched them do it again. If you need to cram people into tiny spaces to be profitable, then you cannot allow them to make it worse by putting back their seats. I spent 90 minutes with a seat back jammed into my chest. We were ignored when handing out snacks, probably because we were invisible behind the seats pushed in our faces. It was one of the most miserable flights I’ve experienced."

Phily to Prg - Crappy old plane that should not be flying over seas anymore. Applies to both flights unless specified."

Pros: "Good is that they sent you to Finnair to correct AA created break in service...why would they pay for it? AA is just an operator per itinerary! Why would you care if ppl get help with connections!"
Cons: "Checked in online on Finnair and automatically for the second connecting flight...and not the first -AA. So, had to check-in again for the first flight at the terminal. Board passes were printed 2 out of 3 by AA and both had errors - wrong gate for the first flight and no boarding info for the second connecting flight - just blank! AA did not provide connecting info until I found an unoccupied employee at the terminal and customer service lines were about 20 people in 2 locations I went to. The connecting info should be in the itinerary they said at customer service...nope, it was not there either!"

Cons: "We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."

Pros: "I hope I never fly American again!!! We were supposed to leave at 2.pm, but dud not until 11 pm. The AA customer service staff wanted to charge me $ for my carry on! We missed our connection of course! Had to wait 2 hrs at next airport for a hotel. Did receive food vouchers and luggage was checked in right away (good thing). But overall ridiculous! Missed an entire day due to AA not having another plain? Or not finding another way to put passengers in other flights."

In flight entertainment was awful (some weird sitcom loop) and the WiFi didn’t work with my phone nor laptop. Basically sat uncomfortably sideways with nothing to do for 2 hours. Flight also arrived late, causing transportation issues."

Won't be booking any American Airlines flights throug Kayak again."

Cons: "Initially we thought we were flying with British Airways. We then had to do some digging to realize it was all out of American Airlines. Then we couldn't get proper boarding passes and luggage tags until one of the crew members spent a significant amount of time untangling each leg of our trip so they were in the proper order. We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff."

Cons: "This was a long non-stop flight from Miami to Denver. Over 4 hours. So I took the plunge and bought first class. I always fly first class on any flight over 2 hours. However, I was disappointed. The food was so-so and insufficient. The drinks were also not enough. The video displays were small and poorly located for the movie. The seats seemed uncomfortable. All and all I have come to expect a better experience from American Airlines in First Class. The ticket was expensive."

Cons: "My son was flying on United from Colorado Springs to Denver, then on to Seattle for Thanksgiving. He rushed through as quickly as he could, but the door to the place was closing and it left 10 minutes early. United recorded him as a 'No Show', and there policy now is to cancel the entire ticket is you miss any segment of a round trip ticket. Thus, his entire $900 was forfeited, he couldn't even pay a change fee to catch a later flight. I hate American, and now I hate United just as much. These airlines shills have been allowed to go out of business when they last filled for bankruptcy. We fly in quite a few international airlines, and outside of Alaska, Jet Blue and Delta, maybe Southwest, US carriers are absolutely bottom of the barrel and it's clear that their employees don't care whatsoever. Will never book again in United or American. I'll try Amtrak before either of those carriers."

We arrived a few minutes too late for my partner to check in with his luggage so they even arranged it so that he would be able to still catch the flight but the luggage would be sent on the following flight. Definitely saved us from the stress of having to be split up and worried on when there would be room for him to catch an alternate flight."

The AirTran took over 10-15min to arrive and when it finally did we had to get off and wait for another one which didn’t have space for everyone so a group of us had to wait even longer for the next one to arrive. A guy said he missed his flight last time that happened. They had more trains going to the parking lot for customers leaving the airport than they did for people catching their flights! Then there was only one security check in line, even for expedited check in. Despite allocating extra time for our overall commute, we still made it right on time for boarding so make sure to give yourself PLENTY of time when dealing with EWR."

They, in this experience were no better at doing their job - getting people from one place to another on time with a little comfort and dignity - than the cut rate guys. Miserable 13 hour trip for what should've been 4 hours in the air."
Cons: "13 hours of travel time for what should've been 4 hours on two planes. The first was staffed by a miserable crew who seemed bothered by the notion of having to deal with passengers. The second was staffed by a crew who couldn't see the passengers scrounging for anything to cover up with to keep warm. Both crews lacked any sense of pride and professionalism. Add delays to that and you have a sum total of a miserable trip home."

Cons: "The last two times I traveled ( I flew with United Airlines ) and both times my flights were delayed. The first time it was delayed by 4 hours and made me miss an appointment. The second time it was delayed by over 13 hours. It was nice that United had put me in a hotel room for the night, but again it took away from time in which I needed to be somewhere else."

But I had no choice this time."

So to insure the bottom line you overbook then bump people at your leisure? This little game effects many lives above and beyond just the passengers. I don't plan on booking with United ever again. I called customer service, explained the situation and was told I had to pay $99 in order to be placed on the next available flight. I asked why this fee couldn't be waived due to me being a passenger in the uber and not the driver, and I was told I needed a police report. I've never been more frustrated with an airline than I was with Frontier. Here I was, trying to catch my flight, involved in an accident that I couldn't prevent and was now being told I needed documentation to have this fee waived."

Noticed less space pet person since my last flight and even the tray was tiny. Cons: "They delayed our flight twice, then ultimately cancelled the flight. Problem is, we drove 9 hours from Salt Lake City to Denver in order to get these cheap flights. We were headed to visit family and had things scheduled for the next day, including tickets to a baseball game. They told us we had to wait 24 hours for their next flight out, and by this point we weren't sure that flight wouldn't be cancelled as well. They said it was due to "weather" and "air traffic congestion", yet literally every other airline still flew their planes out of Denver that night. It basically translates into: "Here at Spirit we're the lowest on the totem pole." and better yet their customer service was so horrible they could not care less about their customers. We then read thousands of negative reviews about this airline and their frequent cancellations, horrible customer service, etc. and wondered how in the world we allowed ourselves to book tickets with this world-class organization. So now we're stuck in Denver with nowhere to stay. We ended up feeling more comfortable booking tickets with a legitimate airliner for the following morning, and had to get a hotel for the night. Then since we arrived to our destination at a different time than planned our family was no longer able to pick us up and we had to spend $70 on a cab. In the long run it ended up costing us a few hundred more dollars to get to our destination so that we could still do the things we'd had planned. Oh also, they didn't even call us or anything about the cancellation. One of us just happened to check our email and we noticed the flight cancellation. So that's great. And the cherry on top was when we called to get a bloody refund they shorted us $20. So my $20 is now floating around in Spirit cyberspace along with my dignity and sanity. If I could give these guys less than one star I would."

Mine were on carousel 3, but my flight was not listed on either Carousel 2 or Carousel 3 at the time I found my bags."

I had to do a bit of online research in order to finally find the sequence of numbers to push in order reach a living person. On my return flight from Denver I was mislead into paying 110 dollars for two carry-on items that didn't require purchase, however the ticket clerk did her best to refund the price of the two carry-on items (I have yet to see the refund pend or post to my account, but we'll see.)"

Crew turned on lights during the late evening flight to play a "customer appreciation week" trivia game (which prevented anyone from sleeping or resting), and then - very loudly - promoted a credit card. Seats do not recline at all. In addition to this unpleasant return flight, I had a disastrous experience getting to Denver in the first place - I had to book seats on a Southwest flight after Spirit closed our outbound flight from Detroit ridiculously early. Spirit makes it very difficult to check in online, and the Spirit counter at Detroit lacks adequate signage to direct passengers to check in at kiosks immediately upon arrival. We had a bag to check, so we simply got in line for the counter, when apparently we needed to check in immediately at a kiosk - when we reached the counter, our flight had been closed."

She finally resolved the issue but it took about an hour. The agents at the airport weren't any friendlier. Plus, Spirit's bag prices are ridiculous ($42+ per bag) and their weight limit is 40lbs instead of 50lbs like other airlines. By the time we paid the fees for our seats and bags it turned out to be the same price as the Southwest or Delta flights. There's no beverage or snack service or wifi on the flights either. Don't let the initial cheap price fool you!!! It's not worth it at all!!!!!"

Approximately half way through the flight (after 10pm local time and after midnight for the time of our destination) the bright cabin lights came on and stayed on for the duration of the flight. I assume this was to keep everyone awake for the loud and incredibly drawn out announcement about in-flight credit card offers. This severely impacted my comfort and the comfort of others, as we were forced to play captive audience. I felt like I was enduring a hard-sell tactic from a timeshare salesman, only there was no means of escape. I respectfully suggest that Spirit limit the length of credit card advertisements, and refrain from announcing them all together on flights late at night or early morning (or at the very least engineer a less disruptive form of communicating these offers). After completing the final leg of my roundtrip journey, I will not be flying with Spirit again. Thank you for your time."
