It was my first time flying at 54 years old and the stewardess' checked with me several times to see how I was doing and even the pilots spoke to me about my fear of flying prior to take off. All in all Alaska is great to take care of their passengers the way they did. They seemed to go the extra mile on both my flights."

I can understand cutting off the use of them once the flight crew is seated but they were still walking around and I really had to go. I don't recall a warning for this. If there was an announcement it was not audible over the hum of the engine. I'm very dissatisfied about that final part of my experience."

I felt very uncomfortable throughout the entire flight and would like to speak with someone from Alaska Airlines."

I don't think I've ever met more helpful, nice attendants--nothing seemed rushed, and they were helpful and happy. Similarly, the attendants on the flight were really nice and cheerful. Flights left on time, and I got in early on my first flight. I've flown a lot in the last year, but this was one of my better experiences with an airline. Check-in was really easy too."
Cons: "I requested an aisle seat because I have broad shoulders and a knee that hurts if I can't extend it. EVERY TIME a particular stewardess would pass, she'd SLAM into my shoulder, with no care or apology. This was very hard to enjoy a drink, or sleep, or do anything on the flight."

Multiple delays throughout the day. Our original 5-6 hours of travel turned into 12. They tried to book us on a flight with an extra stop and 8hr layover. Thankfully we were able to change to a better flight. Then we landed and they gave multiple excuses on why we couldn’t taxi to the gate and we sat on the runway for another hour. Terrible day of flying.

Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league."

I fly almost every two weeks, so I'm used to engine noises but this was one of the loudest/most rickety sounding flights I have ever been on.. and I have flown Spirit a few times. It just didn't feel safe. Landing scared me a little too as I have landed in O'Hare countless times and have never flown so low to the highway upon entry. It felt like we were only a couple hundred feet above the cars."

You sold me tickets that didn’t exist. My wife and I arrived at ORD to be notified that our plane to Athens, Greece departed at 1pm and there was never a 5:45 flight out of ORD to Athens. We arrived from DEN to ORD with no notification of this and were left in shock that Kayak had committed fraud upon us. I tried to call your customer service, but they were no help. 0 out of 5 stars. Just bad.

If you need to cram people into tiny spaces to be profitable, then you cannot allow them to make it worse by putting back their seats. I spent 90 minutes with a seat back jammed into my chest. We were ignored when handing out snacks, probably because we were invisible behind the seats pushed in our faces. It was one of the most miserable flights I’ve experienced."

When we tried t ask what other options were, American Airlines personal offered no sympathy and said the best we would get is the food vouchers and we should be grateful. No other travel reimbursement or vouchers were offered other than a replacement flight. Overall it was a huge inconvenience and caused numerous other expenditures for us."

Cons: "Checked in online on Finnair and automatically for the second connecting flight...and not the first -AA. So, had to check-in again for the first flight at the terminal. Board passes were printed 2 out of 3 by AA and both had errors - wrong gate for the first flight and no boarding info for the second connecting flight - just blank! AA did not provide connecting info until I found an unoccupied employee at the terminal and customer service lines were about 20 people in 2 locations I went to. My daughter had a terrible time for a 4 hour flight."

In fact, there was a whole group of passengers traveling on American from different US cities, switching to RJ in Chicago, whose luggage did not come on the flight to Amman. My advice: be sure to pack enough for a couple of days in your carryon - and don't accept an offer to check your carryon to its final destination!"

Cons: "When I purchased my tickets, American decided it would be reasonable to separate my husband, our 1 year old daughter, and myself which I was notified of only when I asked the customer service agent over the phone prior to our flight. She explained that she was unable to do anything about it. I then called American during my trip and spoke with another agent who said it was out of her hands as well and to take it up with an agent at the desk at the airport. When I checked in online, I was able to change our seats myself which was nothing that either agent even suggested. The lack of ability of these agents on the phone to help two parents traveling internationally with a toddler was unbelievable. American has terrible customer service."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

There are plenty of family friendly good quality PG or G rated movies that appeal to everyone. Would it be too hard to get individual screens in 2017?"

We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff."

Cons: "Boarding by zones causes passengers to have to stand longer while waiting to board, inconveniences them by having passengers seated in window and middle seats often arrive after the passenger in the aisle seat, and slows down the entire process because passengers settling into the front part of the plane frequently board and stow luggage while those seated in the back queue up behind them. Compared to boarding by row, the entire process is now one lengthy mess."

Now I feel like it just sneaks in extra charges like all of the cheap airlines. Not going out of my way to look for united anymore."

When there was a small delay from so control flight attendants had provided great resources for people with connecting flights (they even offered their own phones with the United app to look up connecting flight information). The little waffle treats that were handed out for free were delicious and a nice break from the pretzels other airlines usually pass out."

I think more should have been done to accommodate. To be fair, the other lady who came by to let us know of our gates, offered to call my terminal and let them know I was on the way"
