Cons: "person next to me had bad body odor and urinated in the seat. Was on a 7 hr flight trying to avoid the smell. The caretaker of the person didn’t care about the uterine in the seat that I brought to her attention. The man seated in front of me complained about the odor and pointed also noticed the uterine in the seat. I accidentally put this info in the comments on my flight from medellin to panama. This took place on this flight."

Cons: "They tend to be very sensationalist with the people sitting on the exit road. It would be nice to have some food for the people that are vegetarian, something; just don’t ignore them and continue walking. This happened in both flights. Not even chips. Nothing."

The last flight was operated by Avianca. DUE TO the fact that my very last, 55-minute, domestic flight in Colombia was operated by Avianca, it was to my very unpleasant surprise that United decided they were not going to be responsible for the bag which was left behind IN CHICAGO. I emphasize it's in Chicago, because that would not fall under Avianca's responsibility but rather United. I've had an absolutely awful time trying to get in touch with United and Avianca customer service, I've received both conflicting and incorrect/untrue information from both parties, and it's been 4 days now that instead of enjoying my family vacation I've been trying to sort this mess out with my missing luggage. DISASTROUS"

The film was the same one shown Southbound, not as listed in magazine. We were late taking off and late landing (the latter beyond the captain's control, don't know about why we were late to take off)."

Pros: "I liked how accommodating the staff was with seating for my family, as I was traveling with two young children and we weren't seated together. There was more leg room than most other domestic air travel companies I have been on. There was no upgrade charge for every little thing, such as blankets, pillows, etc. We were fed on each flight, and alcoholic beverages were at no additional charge. The exit tax to leave Costa Rica was included in our ticket, which I was not aware of until I was leaving the country. (nice surprise). Over all, most other airline companies in the USA have made changes that improve their bottom line, but they have completely ruined any favorable aspect of traveling with their airline (American Airlines, Frontier, Southwest, Delta, etc). Copa has done a great job of providing great service and cost for travelers. Please do not change your business strategy by removing some of the above mentioned benefits I enjoyed in order to improve your profit margin. It is refreshing to know there are still air carriers out there that retain the service that is hoped for by most travelers. Also, Roxana and her entire flight crew were outstanding. Thank you , I will fly with you anytime I have the chance."

Cons: "Never buy the flight insurance.. we bought it to keep our trip open ended and upon visiting an office in columbia they told us that the only time flight insurance comes in handy is if you are in a car accident or stabbed (verbatim) or something the like. We ended up only using half of the leg of the flight and had to book a new one to the same destination."

If you don't watch the board you'll miss your flight. Why not send a crew member to the gate you told passengers to go to , and put a sign by that gate notifying passengers of the change! So stressful!!! 2) In transit passengers catching connecting flights, Copa to Copa, have to go through their security again! What, why?? We cannot eat, drink and relax at the gate because no fluids are allowed AT YOUR GATE. We are not talking ourtside security, you are already in the security areas. Even to go to the bathroom you have to go in and out of security, again! Stupid!! We didn't leave the terminal, and you're making us miserable!"

American Airlines tried to help and eventually were able to accommodate me through purchasing a new ticket and ensured my husband and I were still sitting together. Kayak and csfare basically told me sorry for your luck. I will not use this company again."

Than we waited 20 min fir our carry on luggage to arrive. We were told we had to check it. By the time we arrived at our gate they had given outlet seats away. They were not very polity ir helpful."

However, at the airport i was told that the extra bag is $200. My office agreed to paying for the extra bag only for $100. Now I am out of pocket with $100. So disappointing."

Cons: "Our originally scheduled flight out of CMH was cancelled within minutes of getting through security. We were told to wait for another flight-which was scheduled to depart 3 hours EARLIER, but had yet to depart. 3 hours later THAT flight cancelled, and we were rebooked for a flight the following day. So we were out our first night's accommodations as well as transportation to/from the airport that day. The next day we boarded our scheduled flight, sat on the tarmac for awhile, then went back to the gate and de-planed for some unknown reason. We were then re-booked on a different airline. THAT flight was then delayed, which would have caused us to miss our connection to EDI. The ticket agent worked for an hour to find us a flight to EDI that wasn't going through Newark (delays from hell) or Chicago (weather from hell). She finally put us on a flight with an all-too-brief layover in Amsterdam after a connection in Detriot. At this point we have boarding passes coming out our arses, It's 5pm and I haven't eaten since 9am, and we're STILL not out of our departure city. Our projected arrival time was going to cost us ANOTHER night's accommodation, as well as cause us to miss previously paid for engagements. 2 more delays allowed us to finally land in our destination about 40 hours after our original itinerary, with no apology or effort to amend the situation in any way."

There were 3 off duty flight attendants sitting next to me and each had 2 large bags. Multiple other people had multiple oversized bags they were allowed to carry on. This infuriates me. I brought one bag, and a smaller than regulation one at that and I had to check it because other people were allowed to bring multiple bags. If you know a flight will be a tight squeeZe, limit people to one bag each."

Pull this aircraft out of service and fix the temperature!!!"

Cons: "The unexpected delay, overbooking and paperwork mishaps. The flight was supposed to leave at 8 am. Got an email at 5 am saying the flight was delayed two hours for no given reason. Then before we were booking they announced the flight was overbooked by 4 people. That added another time 10 minutes. Then when we’re on the plane it took another 20 minutes for paperwork that wasn’t done correctly. So with no weather issues my scheduled flight at 8 am didn’t take off until 10:55 am."

Cons: "This flight situation was a disaster. We had a connection. The first flight arrived and sat on the tarmac, until the second flight left. We missed the connection and Spirit would do nothing for us. We had to purchase tickets on our own to complete our journey to our destination. Unbelievable."

Pros: "The original ticket price was ok but it was barely a positive."
Cons: "The original "cheap" ticket became meaningless when I had to pay 120$ for my bags. Plus pay for water on the flight? The seats don't decline. It is the most uncomfortable airline I've ever flown, and will hopefully never have to fly with spirit air again. The ticket price isn't even that cheap."

Cons: "After flying a dozen times with a suit bag and a backpack that fits under my seat, I've never had a problem The lady checking tickets gave me an ultimatum, either you fit your suit bag in your backpack, or you have to pay $59 for a carry-on bag. No ticket checker has ever said this to me in the past. She was rude, direct and didn't leave me with any other choice. She ignored me after she gave me the ultimatum, while I'm asking if this was a new policy. She gave me the cold shoulder. I was very frustrated, luckily the suit bag fit in my backpack. Then when I got on the plane there was so much space in the overhead bins, so I took out my suit bag and placed it in an overhead bin while the crew was watching. The crew didn't say anything. Your teams need to be more persistent with policy."

Cons: "The hidden baggage and seat fees are horrendous. I ended up paying more for my bags back and forth than the cost of my ticket. Had I have known it would be so pricey I would have pay the few extra dollars to fly with a different airline. I will likely not be flying with Spirit again."

This happened on a tuesday and i was told the next flight was on saturday. I also had another flight booked that Thur.. My whole vacation ruined because of spirit... Do NOT FLY Spirit... Also i got notifications on Thursday that there was a delay from san diego to vegas... Horrible airline!!!! Never again"

I assure you, their rates lure you in and you will end up spending significantly more than other airlines in the end.
