Dorothy modeled the emergency info in such a graceful way... that you chose to pay attention because she made you feel secure. My colleagues and I have all agreed to fly Delta again ( specifically the Atlanta/ Milwaukee flight) Because of these courteous, caring, and professional people!"

When I asked about blanket, they didn’t look fir any & said they didn’t have any unopened. Upon leaving big plane, I saw a stack of about 5 packaged blankets in the front. Just rude & lazy older crew. Time for a different job fir them"

I have taken this flight several times in the last 2 years and written about this issue but now doubt anybody cares about these comments. To make things worse, my seat would not recline!"

If you serve customers from all walks of life including Hindus, vegetarians, Islam, Judaism, it should be expected that the flight attendant know if that is turkey or ham. Another thing is that there was no final check by the flight attendant. We landed with tray tables down, seats recline, and people were still on their laptops."

Only toilet in economy class was cloughed up and was not functional therefore a very disgraceful situation, they sent me to the other toilet in 1st class area and there I notice several blankets on empty seats after I was told there weren’t any spare blankets."

Just prior to taxiing the plane stopped, the pilot announced a technical difficulty. They had to reboot one system to correct it. We heard more wheel noise. Almost like the doors over the wheels were stuck. Again kinda unnerving. Once airborne everything was smooth."

Cons: "The departure gate was changed four or five times, including after we had traipsed from one end of the concourse to the other, only to have the gate changed BACK to the one from which we came. This was at supper time; we wanted to eat in the terminal but were rousted from two different lines to change gates. We couldn't stop running back and forth long enough to eat! I got updated info more quickly from Kayak than from United, despite having signed up for email and text notifications and having the United app. Come on!! Eventually we were marched down to a narrow hallway, crowded with passengers from two other departing flights, held in formation by obviously harried gate agents and finally led outside to the ramp to board the plane. The worst boarding experience. Ever. Give me Southwest anytime."

So many seats on this plane that there's no legroom, but also it makes the plane so heavy that it can't take off safely unless conditions are ideal. THIS IS A REAL THING THAT REALLY HAPPENED. We left 2.5 hours late due to "weather" (not because there are too many goddamn seats on the plane.) Then, before landing, we were asked to stay in our seats so people who are late for connections can get off first. Seems reasonable. THEY DIDN'T HAVE A GATE FOR US WHEN WE LANDED! The captain said 20 minutes til we can get a gate, but he'll try to get it sooner. He apparently didn't succeed, because it was 45 minutes (!!) before we got to the gate! As a result, 3 hours 15 minutes late. Officially this is "due to weather." Sure."

Cons: "I already knew I was going to pay $200 to ship my boards back home (I wonder if golf clubs which are roughly the same size cost as much,) but when pre-purchasing through the app for an "oversized" bag you have to put a "one" in the checked bag and a "one" in the oversized bag even though they're the same bag, but then they charge you for two, and when you tell the check-in person that you only have one bag of course they can't issue a refund. No, they tell you that you get to call customer service when you return home."

Cons: "My flight was delayed by an hour and a half. That's the amount of time I could have spent to drive home to Milwaukee. I stuck around because there was no indication of a flight cancellation. I would rather hop on a 15-30min flight than go through the hassle of renting a car. BUT the flight did get canceled, the next flight was completely booked and the next flight out after that was at NIGHT. I arrived in Chicago in the morning. The gate agent told us all to head to United customer service. There I received RUDE, poor excuse of a "service" only to be told they don't give refunds at the counter as we were told by the gate agent. So do that on your own time. THEN I had to buy my bus ticket and spend 1.5-2hrs on top of already waiting 1.5hrs for the flight that got canceled. HORRIBLE. Will never fly United again. Did i mention upon my arrival home I found out American was WIDE open seat wise to chicago?? And no one checked for me!"

In the age of mobility this User Experience (UX Design) should be a priority. #2. When we were trying to leave Costa Rica again we had issues with your Bar Code Scanners. We were able to download on our phone but when we go to customs after waiting in long lines we were told that they were not accepting Spirit airlines bar codes. You were the only airlines with long lines. Not even the kiosk was able to print boarding passes so we had to wait in long lines just to get a print out from the service desk."

Cons: "We got our boarding passes in Costa Rica only to be told our flight was delayed two hours and once we got to Florida, our flight had been delayed another 13 hours. Once we finally thought we had a set time, it got delayed another half hour. We have been stranded trying to get home for over 24 hours. It has been terrible. I will never, ever fly spirit ever again."

Spirit hits you with hidden fees from departure, to check-in failures to making you pay for a carry-on?! They smugly suggest that their price is the baseline price without any add-ons or that they're giving you the option to opt out of things other airlines make you pay for, but nah. Spirit airlines has a special place in hell for duping consumers for so long"

Cons: "There are lots of hidden fees we didn't know about and ended up spending a lot more money than intended. There was horrible communication between the airline and the airport and we were held on the plane for an additional 30 minutes after landing which caused us to miss our connecting flight. They said it was our fault for missing the connecting flight even though it was out of our control. We were stuck at the airport and the next available flight was not until the following day. We received no compensation for their mistakes."

Cons: "The staff is incompetent, the process of checking in and boarding is completely inefficient. Worse traveling experience I have ever had."

Pros: "I didn't get o to this flight at all. Staff were very friendly, but completely overwhelmed and inexperienced. They were told to tell us that we had to switch flights because we wouldn't make the connecting flight, but in fact it was because the flight was overbooked. They said I'd get a hotel and then I had to take a taxi to the hotel where there was no room - as the hotel and had already informed the Spirit airlines staff. By the time I returned to the airport for a new hotel voucher it was 3am - and I'd been at the airport since 12am. Mostly it was also crazy to see the situations of other passengers with that airline. The staff were nice, but I wouldn't even feel safe flying with spirit again, much less like I'd be well served."

Cons: "Due to weather conditions, our pilot had to continue past Fort Lauderdale and land our plane at Tampa. However, after landing we were forced to stay on the plane for 3 hours with very little updates on what was going to happen. Then their only solution was to bus us back to Fort Lauderdale which would take 6+ hours, causing us to miss our connecting flights. Therefore we were forced to rent a car (paid for out of pocket) and drive to another airport in order to make it to detroit"

Pros: "The staff in Orlando were beyond friendly and helpful. Jasmine (Supervisor) took great care of us."
Cons: "Our plane was an hour late in San Jose, then we sat on the runway for 45 minutes in Fort Lauderdale because Jet Blue was "blocking our gate". We were told twice that they were holding the plane (which was the last flight out because we missed our original flight by an hour and a half due to delays) for us. We went through security twice and they still didn't hold the plane. There's about 12 of us that didn't make it and was told that the plane was being held. We were forced to stand in the back of a long line to rebook. In that amount of time ( which was over 2 hours) in line and online booking were being made for our same flight.They WOULDN'T accommodate us with a hotel even after we stood in line for another 2 hours just so they could tell us that if we wanted to fly to Dallas it wouldn't be till Tuesday. By this time shuttles werent even running for the number they gave us for a discount on a hotel. The supervisor, GREG HALEY came over and covered his lanyard id with his hand the whole time he spoke with us. We asked for his name and he just said Greg and tried to walk away. We asked him for his last name and he was hesitant but told us it was Haley. We asked his supervisor's name and he scoffed and told us that he didnt have to give us that information, then walked away. We tried to sleep for 3hours on the freezing airport floor to catch a 8am flight to Houston so I could drive my boyfriend all the way to Dallas to pick up his truck and both of us drive back to Houston. Luckily our connecting flight to Houston was in Orlando for 4 hours so it gave me enough time to jump on a standby flight to Dallas Fort Worth out of Orlando in just under an hour. Worst airline and Supervisor (GREG HALEY-OUT OF FORT LAUDERDALE) I have EVER dealt with in ANY company."

Pros: "They got our bags onto our connecting flight even though it was only 20 minutes between landing and takeoff."
Cons: "We had to pay the airport taxes separately and unexpectedly to leave Costa Rica. I know that Spirit wants to save us costs by not charging us for things we don't need but that cost isn't optional so it's just deceitful to not include it. The baggage check at the airport is also only open at a certain time so we had to wait an hour and a half in the baggage check line to wait for it to open and THEN it turns out we were accidentally in the express members line (which was unlabeled) and the spirit employees made us get to the back of the regular line which was huge at that point (note we were the first people at the counter before that happened. AN HOUR AND A HALF IN LINE before it opened, another HALF HOUR to get through the line when we had to get in back. THERE IS NO FOOD BEFORE THE SECURITY CHECK. When I was reserving/buying my seats the website gliched so I had to refresh and all the prices doubled!!!!! Note this is in a five minute window."

Pros: "I will never book another flight on Spirit. Beyond the nickel and diming they do to passengers from the beginning, they engage in unfair and deceptive trade practices. For example, when you choose seats online, if your session times out, as soon as you go back to the page, your seat prices go up. However, if you go back online using an incognito browser, the prices displayed are the original, lower prices. Further, my flight was canceled and Spirit blamed it on Customs and Border Patrol when the real reason was some of the flight crew failed to show up."

We had to wait in line for over 2 hours to pay the fees before being allowed to check in. The flight was further delayed making the process even more painful as we had two young kids."

Después de que el vuelo se atrasara más de 4 horas, nunca logré entender porque fue que nos atrasamos. Nos decían que íbamos a hacer una cosa y hacían otra. Pasamos de ilusiones y luego desilusiones durante horas. Amo viajar y nunca en mi vida me había sentido tan estresado como viajando con Spirit Airlines. No solo fue el atraso del vuelo, sino que también salíamos a las 12:45pm de San José, hora a la que usualmente creo que todos almorzamos, y no se les ocurrió darnos de comer sino hasta las 6:00pm (hora de Costa Rica) y yo no se si según ellos por darnos una latita de Pringles y un vaso de Coca Cola ya se nos iba a olvidar el terrible atraso que tuvimos. Cuando llegué al aeropuerto de Miami noté que habían roto una rueda de mi maleta y se lo dije a una empleada de Spirit Arilines que no sabía que hacer así que recurrió a otra y lo que me dijeron fue que eso no era problema de ellas porque probablemente había sucedido en Costa Rica y luego se fueron. Ahora mismo estaba tratando de hacer el Check In para mi vuelo de regreso y nunca había sido tan complicado hacer un Check In, ni siquiera entiendo porque no puedo hacerlo. Entro a la pagina de preguntas y soporte al cliente de Spirit Airlines y para responder a la pregunta de COMO hacerlo, lo único que saben decir son los beneficios que tiene, beneficios a los cuales me ENCANTARÍA tener si tan solo en su pagina dijeran COMO se hace. He pagado casi $100 en equipaje solo porque nunca nadie me dijo que si lo pagaba como un mes antes iba a salir más barato, que por cierto su pagina de internet es de lo PEOR que he visto, porque después de pagar mi maleta para ir de regreso, ni siquiera me decía si se había cargado bien a mi tarjeta o me daban una factura, simplemente volví al sitio para administrar mi viaje y ahora solo estoy rezando para que cuando llegue al aeropuerto en serio el pago se haya realizado correctamente. En fin, voy a tener que seguir viajando muy seguido a los Estados Unidos desde Costa Rica y puedo jurarles que NUNCA voy a volver a viajar con Spirit Airlines."

They offered no food, no compensation, no protection, and instead of booking me another connecting flight they forced me to take a van they rented from fort lauderdale to my final destination, orlando."

Pros: "Quick simple and cheap flights to and from San Jose CR to Houston Texas - If you can get by with just a backpack they are fantastic - if you don't mind random seat assignments and the trip is not so long as to survive without at least a coffee and snack - then i recommend them - if you have to check baggage and buy an inflight snack then you might better use southwest because to match what southwest includes in their flat ticket price vs buying it as add on's via spirit then spirit costs more"
Cons: "Website lacks information, not very intuitive to find information and they almost do everything possible to not provide phone support assistance - i had to look on other websites to find their number and the minute you dial it they threaten to charge you - simple questions like if their is a weight limit on the single free personal bag carryon are not answered - doubt I would recommend them for any long significant journey but for under 4 hour cheap flights back and forth from houston to san jose costa rica they are great"
