Pros: Nice to see the airline boarded and took off on-time. Kudos to the airline for actually having a meal option for breakfast without dairy for folks like me that are lactose intolerant. Oats were delicious

Cons: Boarding group 6 was awkward. Crazy American Airlines lady kept yelling at the first two passangers to use blue lane to board, which we were already walking in, pointing to us and repeating herself in a rude manner that made us pause and question ourselves that we were in the right lane! So we got out of the lane only to have 5 passengers cut in front of us. Idiot lady misdirecting passengers. Poorly handled.

Cons: Mobile boarding passes did not work and required us to go back to the service counter and print the tickets. Luckily we had time but this was a hassle given we were traveling with our 3 year old. The woman at the service desk quickly helped us print the passes but stated the mobile boarding passes tended to not scan. They should have told us to print the passes the first time we were at the counter if they knew the mobile passes tend to not work.

Cons: Very disappointed in my first longhaul flight on Norwegian Air. Check in staff at Boston was snarly, the food was very average, and the leg room in economy was the least I've ever experienced on an international flight. I am 5 foot three and I do not understand how anyone even a few inches taller than me would not be in imminent danger of developing a blood clot. Horrible. This is a Dreamliner? I only had nightmares.

Mediocre 3.3

Pros: NOTHING!!!!!!

Cons: I absolutely hate traveling on this airline and with all the hidden charges realize that they are NOT as budget as one would expect. In this day and age how can one human being pass food or beverage under your nose to the passenger sitting next to you and not have the common courtesy to inquire if you are hungry? It seems odd to serve the "haves" while the "have nots" look on in hunger, the latter group even including children. Surely the better business model and or approach would be an inclusive one. When comparing the additional costs to travel its is far cheaper to take an option whereby luggage and food are included and you are not charged ridiculous amounts for, lets face it microwave meals. The PR for this company is misleading as it does not let the consumer know that this a LOW LOW budget airline and that traditional allowances on long haul flights have been totally obliterated!!!! I have travelled with Norwegian Airlines a total of 3 return flights and have finally had enough, they are an only option at times otherwise the extra 100 dollars for another airline is a pleasure to pay.

Cons: Our flight was suppose to be at 5:10pm. It was cancelled around 10-11pm. Thankfully they were considerate of the fact that I had an infant and found accommodation for us until the next morning, but they were telling passengers at 1am to figure out where to stay until the next flight. Oo and although we knew the flight was cancelled the hassle of getting our bags and going through customs again we didn’t get to our hotel until 2:45am. Most of the staff seemed rude , but that could be because their answer for everything was a sharp “I don’t know”. I can only remember two names of the staff members that were great and put me slightly at ease during this horrible ordeal. Sandy and Suzie were kind and tried to give the best answers they could to the passengers. The flight back was on a Privilege aircraft though Norwegian. The flight attendants were amazing and much more leg room than the newer Norwegian aircraft.

Pros: We took what was to be a 9 hour flight from Denver to London and the service was great. My fiancée has allergies to food and the staff took good care of her and made sure that she was getting meals that had no triggers in them. For me the seats are always a bit too tight for people with real shoulders. It’s okay though I’m used to that. But then landing 40 minuets early was great. It allowed us to go through the border and still be on our way as quickly as if we were home in the states.

Okay 5.0

Pros: The only male flight attendant was very helpful and polite.

Cons: The rest of the crew were inattentive and rude. It was bad enough to be delayed an hour, but the inattentiveness was ridiculous. I placed an order for a beverage, a pack of crisps and a set of headphones at the beginning of the flight. I didn’t receive them until almost 3 hours into the flight. I figured they were busy with meal service and what not in the beginning of the flight so I was patient, and I saw some people receiving their orders kinda late as well. After the 2nd hour, I started clicking the call attendant button. The female flight attendants walked by multiple times and ignored my attempts to flag them down. Finally, the male attendant came over and resolved the situation, but by then we had been in the air for 3 hours. Worst service I’ve experienced on any airline. Also, for a plane called a Dreamliner, those seating arrangements are a nightmare for anyone over 5’8”; I was uncomfortable the entire flight. It’s a plane, not a bus in a third world country; it’s shouldnt be that damned cramped and crowded.

Pros: Price for the flight was nice from NYC - JFK to London for me. Useful to have budget airlines for further distances, if you don't mind missing large chunks of basic amenities. Bathrooms on this flight were more clean and nicer than most flights I've been on too.

Cons: I did not like the extremely long and inefficient way they board onto planes. They say they are starting to board and then we waited over 20 minutes just to hear who was going to board first. Then they ask for rows 18-28, leaving out the rows 29-36 or something like that, which created an extremely long and late boarding process. Once they started boarding people it was a giant mess in the waiting area and of course, once people have their ticket scanned, then you continue to wait in a long line past the kiosk for another 10 minutes. Getting Food, drink, and even the Customs Form was really inefficient -- the person with the forms walked quickly down the aisle and missed me because he was looking at the other side and not checking with each aisle like most flight attendents would. I ended up getting my customs form taking it from the drink cart when it was sticking out.

Pros: The BA staff on the plane were excellent, given the horrible way we arrived to board the plane. They went above and beyond to help mitigate the treatment before boarding the plane. Also, our vegan that we requested via American Airlines on the phone back in September didn't appear on their list, so they made the best out of a bad situation.

Cons: Our first BA flight was late leaving and therefore we arrived to our 2nd flight 20 minutes before the flight was to leave. The check-in staff were completely rude, telling us to run and threatening to not let us on the plane. It was not our fault the plane left late from BCN to LHR. Once we were actually let on the plane, we didn't push back from the gate until 5-10 minutes after the scheduled departure time. There was absolutely no reason to have treated us that way, so we promptly submitted a complaint to British Airways.

Pros: We had two seats alone on the side, in row 51(!), with plenty of room and easy access (but not too close) to the loo. The Boeing 747 has aged well and was a bit more comfortable than the 787 Dreamliner we took over to Europe.

Cons: Only downside was the clunky seatback entertainment screen, which probably looked bad 20 years ago when they put it in.

Pros: Fare good

Cons: Old plane, everything terrible because of seat size and spacing

Mediocre 3.6

Pros: Boarding staff & crew were fine

Cons: The seats were the most uncomfortable I have ever travelled in - this plane definitely has the worst seat width, leg & reclining space that I have seen. I have been in long-range (16 hours) flights that were more comfortable than this. If anything fell on the floor, I couldn't retrieve, I couldn't sleep at all & had contorted joints & a body ache when we landed. To design such tiny seats is truly inhumane.

Pros: The plane was a relief - we got exit seats so we could actually sleep all through the flight! The crew was very friendly and nice. The 5 pound food voucher did help after the awful flight from San Francisco,

Cons: No one could explain why the plane was delayed - we were told to just 'look at the monitor'. The BA staff seemed to have no idea what was happening till the boarding started & then our seats were changed without telling us though the flight crew managed to seat us together.

Pros: Nice clean, quiet and smooth ride. The economy seats seem to have a little more legroom than most.

Cons: The staff on both transatlantic flights were absentee. While I get that it is a budget carrier and they use a request your services via the entertainment system model, they were all behind the curtain all the time. Not even offering water occasionally. Really? Also, I don’t understand why they promote larger windows with dimming functions if the are going to override the controls. While I understand being courteous to other in the plane who might be sleeping, what good is ordering a window seat if the window is put and left in a darkened state the entire flight? An above the clouds sunset opportunity missed. Annoying!!!

Cons: First time with this airline, so didn't know what to expect. All food, including water, must be purchased. No big deal if prepared for it, but different compared to other airlines that customarily provide non-alcoholic drinks or at least cups of water on long-haul flights.

Pros: I appreciated there were many movie options for entertainment. Some old but there was good variety.

Cons: I hated the wait time pre boarding. Somehow the flight kept getting delayed. The flight was delayed on my way to Barcelona and it was delayed even more so coming back to Oakland. The crew on board were not very nice and the crew pre boarding at the front desk were extremely rude and unhelpful. I paid the extra money for the on board meals and somehow I ended up getting the worst seat locations. The food is served at such disparate times. I felt like I was starving for many hours after I ate my first meal. Overall, I do not recommend flying through Norwegian and I doubt I will ever fly through Norwegian again.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
