  • Looking for a cheap flight? 25% of our users found flights on this route for $499 or less one-way and $978 or less round-trip.
  • Denver International Airport (DEN) is one of the biggest airports in the United States, but surprisingly compact with three well-connected concourses. The airport is 25 miles away from Downtown Denver and has lots of cheap options to get to the airport, either by public transportation or by affordable taxi services.
  • Denver Airport is pet-friendly and has an on-site pet resort with suites, massages, and obedience training. Other benefits include free Wi-Fi, charging stations for your devices, nursing rooms, and prayer halls. Be sure to check out the views of the Rockies from Concourse C while you wait to board your flight.
  • A tip for a fast pass through security is to head to the pedestrian bridge across from the Westin Hotel after check-in, which you will find between the main terminal and Concourse A. • Although London has over six airports to choose from, most flight routes from Denver fly into London Heathrow (LHR), which is the city’s largest and busiest airport and has the largest offering of international flights. London Heathrow Airport has four terminals, so be sure to check which terminal you are flying into to best arrange the rest of your journey going forward.
  • Because Heathrow is so busy, be prepared for longer than usual wait times at border control when you land. A good rule of thumb is that it can take an hour, so be sure to factor this into your onward travel. There are currency exchange offices located in Terminal 2 and 5 if you want to change some dollars into pounds before leaving the airport.
  • Denver International Airport (DEN) has designated smoking zones. In Jeppesen Terminal, you can access these areas by exiting Doors 400, 401, 417, and 416 on Level 4. On Level 5, they are outside Doors 500,501, 516, and 517. On Level 6, use Doors 601, 616, and 617. Note that smoking is not allowed anywhere else in the airport.
  • If you’re flying out from DEN, you’re welcome to use the airport’s water bottle filling stations to quench your thirst. DEN provides four stations in each of its concourses. The stations are conveniently at the center of each concourse.
  • If you’re traveling with your kids, you’ll be happy to know that London Heathrow International Airport (LHR) provides play areas. In Terminal 2, the play area is near Gate 16. You can also find a play area near Gate A7 in Terminal 5.
  • Travelers arriving at London Gatwick International Airport (LGW) are welcome to use the work pods operated by Regus Express. The pods are soundproof and offer mobile charging units and free Wi-Fi. They are by Gates 104-105 in North Terminal.

O’hsre taxi and deboarding took 40 minutes. Needed 20 minutes extra time between connecting flights to avoid running through terminal.

Cree was organized and pleasant. Plane had good seating but as it’s a shuttle toilets hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned (eg. bins too full)

Was great in general, try to respect time and excuses when slight changes have been made, appreciated!

Really hard landing... as in slammed into the runway then hit the brakes really hard ...

Putting people that close to the bathroom, where you have to look into the bathroom as people are exiting and entering was not great and the smell was also not great. I know the airlines are desperate for more chairs, but that seat is a crime.

Every staff member was professional, friendly and courteous. The pizza twist was ok. It was warm but too much dough.

one staffer was frustrated (it happen); the flight was late and the pilot mentioned they'll make amend but the snacks were the same, other than that the aircraft was clean and everything went smooth, no complaints

Wonderful in-seat entertainment with seatback screens and huge selection of quality movies. The ability to bluetooth connect headphones was amazing.

No seat back entertainment. And app had a hard time getting entertainment loaded.

ticket agent lady wás very helpful , she arranged wheel chair for my elderly mother

Terrible, horrible, disappointing- without telling us they changed planes and moved and separated our seats to opposite sides - said they changed seats putting us together - got to airport to find no, they did not - we sat opposing sides of plane - food overly salty to inedible, never saw stewardess but once - it was terrible

As we approached Denver, we encountered quite a bit of turbulence. I know this can sometimes be the case as I frequently fly this route but not on American. My gripe: Usually a pilot or co-pilot alerts passengers to the possibility of turbulance ahead of time. This did not occur nor did he communiucate during what was a pretty rough ride.

The business class layout of chairs was weired. You are sitting directly across stranger.,

We did not have enough time to make our connecting flight. As a result, we were put onto a different airline for our second leg. The different airline was NOT comparable to British Airlines, and our arrival was significantly delayed. The actual flight on BA was amazing.

Tv screens and movie selection v good. Friendly staff. They were really worried about max capacity and room for carryons. That is never fun but i had no problem finding space when I boarded.

My flight to London from Philadelphia was cancelled due to weather.

Terrible. Our luggage was delayed and couldn’t be delivered for several days. We got bad information from the airline agents at baggage claim. We had to pick up our car so we wouldn’t be charged for an extra day. We got lost in the maze of airport parking. The baggage claim agents didn’t offer us any compensation for our extra time and expense. We are tired, hungry and very frustrated.

Disliked having to wait a little longer to disembark from the plan when we landed in London

Food should be better quality. Video screens have poor resolution and the library of movies is poor. The other airlines are much better.

The trip was smooth but the crew were very abrupt, snatching things before finished and being quite snappy when asked questions.

Was a bit surprised that Icelandair flies a domestically configured 757s on long-haul flights to Iceland (no lie-flat seats in business class).

I had no idea that my ticket only paid for my right to get on the plane. They charged me $130 for my carry-on bag because it was 1 inch too big she claimed but it wasn’t! Then they wanted another fee for everything. I had no idea that Icelandair had changed to such a bargain basement airline. I was very disappointed.

Screen didn't work, and neither did the button to tilt the seat even though the seat was comfortable

Second time with Saga Premium, everything was fab, but the entertainment centre on both my flights didn't work, plus the seat on the NY to Rek flight (Airbus) was so solid and so uncomfortable. The 737Max flight's seat was much, much better.

Iceland Air severely damaged a checked bag. Additionally, the gate agent caused issues for many passengers who had standard-sized onboard bags that would have passed inspection by any other airline.

The staff was kind and helpful. There was no food, and you needed to bring your own earphones to use the entertainment, which I didn’t know.

They wouldn’t check in my luggage even though I had one checked bag prepaid. So I took my bag to the gate and tried to check it in there and two employees scolded me for bringing a large bag to the gate. I told them I was trying to check it in and that it was prepaid, and they said they couldn’t guarantee that it would arrive at my destination but they finally let me drop it off when boarding the plane and pick it up right after exiting the plane. There was no food, and there was no entertainment.

The customer service was unbeatable from the wheelchair assist team to the flight attendants. The pilot also did an excellent job managing the turbulence.

Delays at check-in, seemed like they were short ground staff at the time and some passengers needed extra processing.

Problems checking in both on the laptop and on the app. No free seating available at check-in as advertised - must pay for EVERY seat between $23 and $75. No way to cancel seat choice. App menus and site menus are not responsive, and some items are impossible to find. Crew and mobile assistance are friendly and helpful.

Horrible seat at the back. Crew was very kind. Packed plane. Wordy pilot bragging about Iberia being punctual when many of us came from Alicante flight that was delayed an hour and many lost connection and we lost our luggage. Still waiting for it

In general, I've had excellent experiences with Iberia flights and will continue to use them. In this last flight there were two things that didn't go right. I didn't get the kosher meal I had pre-requested when I had checked in on-line. Things worked out OK as we ended up eating the fish and vegetarian choices, which were really good. The other issue was that some movies for me and my wife started fine but after 8-12 minutes the content just switched to something else. The flight attendant reset our entertainment systems, but the problem persisted. We ended up choosing other movies/TV shows that did work fine.

Flight was fine - however my husband's checked in case was damaged, and mine still has not arrived

Awful. They didn't even show concern that her connecting flight( Dallas to Mardrid) was gone/missing. I don't understand how that is even possible. Rudest answer from one of the crew was that American Airlines sold the tickets to somebody else. My daughter was not in the list.

The flight was canceled on a Thursday last minute. I lost thousands of dollars in hotels and car rental

Excellent lie flat seat for premium economy! Great staff. Bad food . Not so great entertainment. My bag didn’t make it either.

Really like the idea experience on this airline I will use again

The boarding procedure got confusing because they wanted to weigh everyone’s carry-on. Apparently mine was 3 1/2 kg over their limit. I didn’t know they had a limit. And at the check-in desk, nothing was said about this. They wanted me to check the carry-on at no charge and that would have been fine except then they told me at my connection in London I would have to go outside to baggage claim retrieve my bag, and then recheck it. In other words, they could not check it to my final destination, only to London. I told him this was unacceptable so after a few minutes of discussion, they came back and said that my bag would be OK to carry on the plane. It seems that if you have a connection then the weight is not as important. Then when I actually went to board the boarding agent said I needed a tag indicating that my bag had been weighed, even though she had just five minutes ago talked to the same person who cleared me. Lots of confusion seems like a very bad process. They need to improve this.

My flight being automatically moved messed up my travel plans, and I had to quickly find an alternative mode of transportation. I couldn’t get a refund from any of the companies involved. Kayak, Ibiza, or Vueling. I am still unsure of how to settle my concern.

Plane delayed due to weather. Plane boarded, then told to unboard due to a maintenance issue.

Boarding was orderly, pilot and flight attendants were nice, entertainment options were good, and low sodium meals were quite tasty.

The whole experience was excellent, O can say out from Miami the best airline to travel with for any European destination. Since the ground staff to the inflight crew attention was great, service on board 10 of 10. Finally the 380 is very confortable and nice to travel.

All crew except 1 were excellent. When I asked assistance with business class seat conversion to a bed (not being familiar as never used before but have numerous times with other airlines) crew member helped very reluctantly. I should have told her that business class seat conversion is totally different in each airline such as Delta, New Zealand Air and United. Sorry it was my 1st time with America Airlines. Now I know, I won't bother asking assistance in future.

The seats in Premier Economy were very comfortable. The food was better than average. The way British Airways handled our seating was atrocious.

Flight delayed, connection was not at gate listed and so missed, staff were rude at Heathrow, phone tree stupid and difficult, took me 21 actual hours to reach my destination. Almost lost my hotel reservation after walking in a strange city alone after midnight because they would not put me up in a hotel at sfo or heathrow. I will never fly BA again and will tell all people and Instagram followers never to fly BA.

Overall ok. Best part has always been the sundae dessert.

I’ve never been on a trans-Atlantic (or Pacific) flight where the seats don’t recline—not even a little. I asked my seat mate when BA starting doing this and he said “Oh, a few years ago.” I couldn’t sleep, with my head falling forward waking me continuously, and came off the plane incredibly stiff. I booked a Premium Economy seat to get a more comfortable seat, which was worse than most basic Economy seats I’ve ever booked.

Nice aircraft. Good crew. Delayed departure from Houston, but arrived on time in London. Main thing I don’t like about flying BA is having to transit through security in London Heathrow. A major pain!

The gate agent made me check my carry-on in Denver, even though I've traveled all over taking this case on the plane. Beware folks. Food in Premium Economy was quite good - excellent blanket! Flight attendants on the Heathrow-to-Budapest flight on 3-27-2026 were quite snappy. I got a frown when asked to unscrew the water bottle cap for me (I had a cast on my right arm). Also woke up right when they were handing out biscuits. She had given my rowmates one and was in the process of giving water when I asked for a biscuit. She scolded me and said, "You snooze, you lose". She did give me one, but I thought that comment was uncalled for.

Wish the food and overall service was better. They treat Business class passengers same as economy
