I waited 55minutes to check my bag, as they kept moving the ski priority people, and people in danger of missing their flight, to the head of the line. There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time."

It took over 45 minutes for baggage to arrive at the claim area which was maddening since I would have preferred to do what I've done on just about every flight for years - carry on my bag at no cost. Because the cost was just as expensive to carry on and the flight was clearly full (since I did not learn until just days before boarding that I had to purchase a seat), I was concerned about my bag being somewhere else on the plane AFTER I paid to have it with me. In the future, I will stick with higher quality airlines in which I know what the cost is up front and I get a soda without pulling out a credit card."

Also, we did not pay extra for a seat assignment, to see what we were given. In both flights, we were given decent seats together. 3. Crew very nice. 4. Very smooth landings."

The flight attendants were required to yell annoying advertisements for 15 minutes even though the flight is only 75 minutes. And some weird teen sitting behind me kept putting his head between his knees and head butting the back of my chair. Flight crew couldn't care less. The best part of the flight was getting OFF!"

Months later, Spirit Airlines decided to change my itinerary, which got me home 12hours later than I additionally booked it to be. I also did not appreciate the 4hr layover flight-change that was made for me. And don't even get me started on the rest of the reasons why Spirit Airlines sucks!"

I can't believe people are complaining about crowded seats and extra charges, as if other airlines aren't doing the same things... If you want a first class traveling experience, pay four times more on a different airline. The flight attendants were perfectly polite and friendly. While Spirit isn't my airline of choice, I would fly with them again."

Also the plane kept making this unusual grinding sound before we even took off as well as while we werr in the air. The flight attendants were very rude to alot of people, careless with the credit card machine dropped it very roughly on the ground and laughing about it. I am pretty sure the older one of the three was drunk because she reaked of alcohol , I didnt not catch her name but she was the ruddest of them even to an elderly man and a small child. Then Liz was also very rude to customers as well as having an attitude that was as if she didnt carr about her job. The man Gustavo was not to bad he just spoke over the intercom as if he was new. My mother who was traveling with me asked for a seat belt extender twice and the third time was finaly given one and laughed at by the staff and the during the flight she discoverd a roach in the pouch in front of her. Also back to a referance to the bad staff a woman sat next to us asked for a pain killer or some sort and was told " i cant give it to you before we take off, and if i could we dont have anything other than our own"-liz then twords the end the poor girl was sweating drasticaly and holding her stomach and the older attendent whose name i did not get came up and said " WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?" and laughed. Over all i was NOT haooy woth this flight i do understand the fact that i GET WHAT I PAY FOR BUT THAT WAS JUST RIDICULOUS."

Cons: "Waiting for 2.5 hours only to hear my flight was canceled. Also, standing in a line or hundreds to not get rebooked was also not fun."
Cons: "You think you are getting a good deal but they nickel and dime you for everything. They charge $40.00 for carry on and that's if you paid online otherwise at airport it's twice as much. The plane broke down at take off...took them forever to have a mechanic look at it once we got back to gate. Had to de plane and wait 30 min for them to cancel flight. All 200 passengers were sent down to ticket counter where most of us waited for 5 hours or better bc they were understaffed and EVERY person who walked away was very upset. Wouldn't refund all of fares people paid and many of us couldn't get onto other flights. I have never experienced any thing like it in all my years of travel. Was at airport for 7 hours. Unacceptable! Dispicable. Was my first and last experience w Spirit."

Cons: "I didn't like the fact you have to pay for hand carry. That makes no sense to me and is misleading with your plane fares. The new planes have no seats that recline even though your take off and landing instructions call for having see in full upright position. It is always in that uncomfortable position. And the tray tables are way too small. you can't fit anything on there except a glass. For someone who travels often Spirit Airlines would definitely be my last choice. I definitely wouldn't recommend this airine to anyone."
Cons: "After unexplained delays the flight was just canceled. Everyone was told to leave the terminal go pick up baggage from a baggage carousel and get in line to re-book. There were 1 to 2 Spirit representatives available to assist in re-booking the entire plane. Getting through to anyone on the phone was impossible. This was on a Tuesday and many were told there were no flights available until Friday. I booked with another airline and 4 hours later when I was checking in for my new flight there were still at least 30 people in the Spirit line waiting to rebook."

Cons: "I did not like the late notice of how late my flight would be delayed."

Pros: "It was my first time flying and I had no problems with boarding or late flights. Everything went smooth and I had a great experience for my first flight. I would take Sprit again if I could fit all my items in my personal carry on that is free of charge. If I need to pay for any other carry on or check in bags I might want to check out a different airline. Overall great experience. Seats had a lot of room and the plane was pretty clean."

Cons: "Flight took off early and I was rescheduled to another flight missing a funeral. Spent 4 hours on layover in Vegas only to find out that flight was delayed for an hour. Spirit airlines charges for EVERYTHING including water and cary on."

Cons: "But, there were extra fees at the last minute that did not expect. I spent an extra $100.00 for my carry on, misc. fees and for my seats. I wish Spirit would have told me about the extra fees when I booked the flight!"

Cons: "that the amount charged for the bags feels like a scam. You fall for purchasing the tkt at a "competitive" price and you are pressured at the check in to overpay for you bags. If passenger is connecting to international flights, both ways, its twice the assault!"

Cons: "I'm not a big fan of spirt airlines. They have too many fees for things. 7 dollars to pick a seat? 100 for baggage ? No wifi. I use them because they are cheap God forbid I lave luggage then I might as well drive my truck"

Cons: "After 2 hours on a plane that would not start, they booked us on a flight for the next day 6am and I slept in the terminal. Lots of extra unseen charges and a staff that isn't invested in excellence."

Cons: "My 10:00pm flight got delayed until 1am in the morning. This made me have a 5 hour layover in Las Vegas and when the plane finally did come we landed in Oakland at 2:30am. This means all the rental car companies were closed, meaning I had to sleep in the lobby with another 5 hour layover. I will never fly Spirit again."
Pros: "You buy a ticket, but have to pay if you want to bring any bags, or if you want to pick your own seat. Otherwise you get stuck in a middle seat at the back. Also, these planes are packed tighter than any other, seats closer together. You have to pay for food. No snacks."
