Delta is my go-to for years on the SEA-AMS run. They are generally always on time and often come in early on the flight back. Seems like the food quality has gone down a bit over the last two years, and I was disappointed in both meals on this flight, but I will continue to book Delta every time on this route.

After we boarded the plane, we sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes for the airplane to “burn off fuel.” It was warm, humid, and uncomfortable. Because it was a smaller plane, there was nothing but water, coffee, and tea offered for refreshments. Also, we were the last arriving flight at the Fort Wayne airport for the night, and my husband had checked a special item in his bag, so it couldn’t be put on the baggage claim. We waited at an empty Delta counter for over twenty minutes for someone to give us his bag. I’ve had great experiences on Delta flights many times, but this one was subpar.
Kay is the epitome of greatness; she and her coworker really made a quick flight more desirable. Kindness is their portion and that’s amazing to me!!!
Wifi extremely slow. Not worth the money.

Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future."

An international call wait of 1.5 hours was required to just get us back into the economy plus section that we had originally paid for, Amsterdam check-in was chaotic. In-plane staff was not at all helpful with our desire to get seats on the outside rows of our section."

As a result the hour flight was an hour and a half. The pilot kept us informed and it was a very smooth flight. So even though I was over an hour late arriving I so appreciated the communications and the safer route. AA seems to be communicating more than other airlines and I appreciate that. Flying is absolutely no fun anymore so you take what you can get for the positives."

Cons: "We were forced to check our Uppababy Vista stroller at EWR departures that we hoped to check at the gate. Needless to say this made it difficult to get our toddler through security. At baggage claim only half our stroller was there - they had disconnected the seat from the wheels. Luckily we spotted what looked like a similar frame to ours at the gate when we landed. It then took another forty minutes for the baggage claim office person to go through security, to the arrival gate and back to baggage claim."

Rerouted me by 200 yards to TSA checkpoint I could see was 30 yards away. When flight arrived in SFO the arrivals board never showed it and there was no carousel shown for checked baggage. I finally had to go to customer service, where attendant just pointed to my bag on the floor with lots of others from the flight, shrugged, no apology, and chewed her gum a little faster before turning her back."

I had no way of seeing what was on the cart from my seat and had to rely on her to tell me what was available. After I bought something and she passed by, I saw something else I’d rather have but it was too late by then….and she didn’t list it as an option. In flight movies would’ve been nice, too."

Over the course of 4 hours, the crew kept us updated with every little change and were all very helpful! Cons: "Either Frontier or the third party I purchased my ticket through on Kayak (Kiwi.com) sold me a ticket as if it were a complete flight from point A to B with a layover in between. In reality however, it was two totally separate flights which required me to go to the Frontier ticketing counter upon my arrival at my layover destination, get a ticket printed for my second flight, pay to recheck my bag a second time ($45 x2 = $90 which was total BS), go through security again (also BS) only to walk back clear to the other side of the airport where I just was. To top it all off, our flight took off late and upon arrival we didn't even have a jet bridge available. So, all of the passengers had to get off on the tarmac and wait to be bussed from wherever we were all the way to the main terminal. Then they switched the baggage claim caracul on us. What a mess. This will probably be the last time I buy a ticket on Kayak, Kiwi and possibly even Frontier."
Cons: "I was a passenger on a Frontier flight from DIA to TMA on 5/13/2018. My luggage was checked and a tag indicating the bag was to go all the way to the final destination (there was a stop in St. Paul, Minnesota) was securely placed on the suitcase. However when I arrived at the Trenton airport my bag did not. There were no Frontier airlines agents on duty so I filled out a form given to me by one of the airport staff. When I checked the Frontier website today it said to fill out a Frontier Lost and Found report. Upon doing so I received an email saying finding a lost bag could take weeks and that after a month they consider the bag permanently lost. No offer or process was provided for compensation for lost bag or the items within. This is unacceptable! I had prescription medication in my bag that's not easily refilled."

Cons: "The flight from Denver to Detroit was extremely late causing a huge delay in the entire process. Once we finally got ready to takeoff, we had to pull in yet again because there were passengers on the plan that weren't scheduled to go to Detroit.. all of these problems are somewhat understandable, but the crew FAILED TO EMPATHIZE WITH US AT ALL. They even made smart remarks about people going to the bathroom when we pulled back in... I feel some of them acted extremely unprofessional and I truly never want to fly with this company again."

Cons: "When you have to check in to get a lower baggage fee than if you check in at the ticket counter is totally unfair and a very poor business practice. If a friend hadn't told me that I needed to check in online, I would have preferred to check in at the counter. Not knowing what baggage prior to packing, I needed to change my carry-on to a checked bag. So I looked on the Internet for a customer service telephone number, which I found, but it's the wrong number.... Very frustrating!!!! At that point, I wished that I didn't book my flight with Frontier Airlines. Then I had to pay extra money to choose a seat, pay $2.00 for a drink . I definitely know that your customer service is bare bones, and the low price for a flight comes with annoying high price to pay. I will certainly think twice before flying with Frontier Airlines again."

Cons: "The seats are very thin and feel like school bus seats, so it was a pretty uncomfortable couple of hours. Also, the check in at the kiosk is confusing and misleading. We were very prepared and did everything ahead of time (paid for our checked bag, knew that we'd have to pay for a cary on bag, etc.) but then when we checked in it asked us if we had a checked bag we needed to pay for. We doubted ourselves for a moment and almost paid for our bag, AGAIN, even though we had already done it. This payment should have shown up on our account and we should not have been asked about paying for our bag, that is confusing and misleading."

Cons: "the aft steward was a power-hungry tyrant. He kept telling me to get into my seat which was occupied. When that could not be resolved, he told me to get out of the aisle so others could board. I was in the penultimate row and the people in my row needed to move to the last row. So who was I blocking from boarding? Also, the flight was extremely turbulent and not one seat in the last 4 rows had barf bags. As I deplaned, it looked as if 10-12 others did not have them either - - good luck cleaning that plane. The seats are sized for 5-yr olds. And lastly - you stick it to passengers with all the non-disclosed fees."

By the way, if you wait to choose your seat/and check your bags...the price goes up. In the end it would have been cheaper to fly any other airlines. I'd never fly frontier again."

If it wasn't for the generosity of several people in the line, I would have had to wait another several hours before seeing an agent. The inexpensive ticket is not worth it, especially considering one must pay for a carry on. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had flying."

And the flight was delayed and the personnel didn't know what was going on and wasn't able to inform us. The online seat assignment was confusing to figure out."

The gate representative didn't keep us informed of the issues and when he did, he was usually wrong. There is a surcharge for everything from carry-on fees to beverages on the plane. The plane itself was uncomfortable with uncushioned seats. Let's just say that if I had to choose between a Frontier flight and a Delta flight that was $400 more, I will choose the Delta. Same goes with any competitor. I will never fly Frontier again."
Cons: "The flight was over an hour delayed on the ground and then my luggage is still completely lost. The customer service has been absolutely terrible. I am in a city in which I do not live, with absolutely no clothes, toiletries, shoes etc and I have been on hold waiting to talk to someone about my missing bag for over 45 minutes. Frontier has absolutely no idea where my bag is, it is not in the place that I took off from and definitely not at my destination. This has been an absolute nightmare in which they offer you pathetic $50 to make up for the over $3500 I have in missing belongings."

Then at the airport, the line to get a baggage ticket wasn't that long, but it took almost 45 minutes. Every time we fly Southwest or Delta, it takes only 10 minutes to get our baggage tagged and on our way to security. I was also unpleasantly surprised that even water costs $2. Other airlines give a free drink, but Frontier charges $2. Terrible. And the seats don't recline. In summary for areas to improve: don't charge me for carry on and don't charge me for water. I will also be looking for another online venue to buy my next tickets, we thought we were going to get a great deal (round trip tickets for two people for around $680) but instead will end up paying in the neighborhood of $885. Kayak let us down big time."

Very rude. Plus, as we saw a youngster dropping zip bags on the ground and that family wasn'tbeing eye balled by the staff. I wanted my overhead bad that I paid extra for, over my seat or a little in front of us so we didn't have to wait for the entire plane to empty before we could get it and the same attendant tried to push out back and was argumentative about it. He was one of the worst attendants in my experience."

Because flight times were inaccurate, I had no time to buy food during my layover and wasn't able to purchase food on the flight. Overall, I would NOT choose to fly Frontier Airlines again unless absolutely necessary."

Any passenger that approached them was treated poorly. The airplane floor and seats were dirty upon arrival. As with any low budget airline, the seats were uncomfortable and there were no entertainment options. Check in was a nightmare with insane lines and passengers barely getting their bags and check-in figured out before rushing to the gate. Recommend arriving three hours early if you don't want to wonder if you're about to miss your flight through the checkin and bag drop process."

The staff had problems with accountability because seat numbers and ticket assignments were completely ignored. What good is a seat assignment if staff ignores the flight manifest. In the future I will no longer fly spirit because you do not value my upgrade. I feel you have unfairly taken my upgrade money only to find out that passenger's can ignore the upgrade costs and sit anywhere in the plane."

Pros: "Customer service in Manila speaks with heavy accent talks so loud. Do not undestand what they are saying. Then they became rude, asked for supervisor, they refused. Oversea customer service may be cheaper labor for the co, your customers have hard time understanding them. How can we use spirit? My mother handicapped senior ended up missing the flight because customers service put on a hold for 75 minutes. I called them to speak to a manager refused first time then put me on hold for an hour. I will put this terrible process experience on google, so people should, must know especially if this is concerning children or elderly seniors. The higher management should acknowledge and be accountable for people suffer great deal."
Pros: "This ticket was inexpensive and got the job done. My flights were on time and smooth. The airline is clearly a discount airline. Extra charges for luggage and snacks, which, if you've traveled before, are easily avoidable. I can't believe people are complaining about crowded seats and extra charges, as if other airlines aren't doing the same things... If you want a first class traveling experience, pay four times more on a different airline. The flight attendants were perfectly polite and friendly. While Spirit isn't my airline of choice, I would fly with them again."
Cons: "TSA made me go back to the ticket counter to get a printed boarding pass, because a digital copy was insufficient. Hopefully Spirit will be able to send digital boarding passes soon."
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "Rude employees, incompetent staff. Outrageous hidden fees. First time I flew spirit they cancelled my connecting flight, escorted me out of the terminal, stood in line for 3 hours to be rescheduled to a flight the following day. They put me in a hotel an hour away with a shuttle that ran every 2 hours so I was able to sleep for 3 hours. Second experience... 5 hour delay from 730p to 12:30p departure. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Never booking spirit again. Absolute garbage airline."
