SW can't get their wifi right. I upgrade to insure wifi service but the last two trips had intermittent service. Not worth the extra costs.
One major problem that was very unprofessional and uncalled for. Plane landed and we had to wait 20 minutes to get off the plane since they were waiting for someone to come to the gate to drive the jetway. Southwest couldn't have someone available and waiting for the plane to land? Is there only one person in Hobby airport who knows to drive the jetway? Was he at lunch? In the bar? Uncomfortable and uncalled for!
Southwest is kind of a slum airline. It’s gotten more expensive over the years for less and less service. I am a Southwest Chase Visa card holder and was forced to choose a seat in the 26th row in the middle seat. However my wife who is a rewards member but doesn’t hold a card or anything else, gets randomly assigned a normally paid seat in row 6! How does that work?
The seat was not comfortable. 1D. My back was sore all night and the next day.
One of the best airlines for fast boarding, on time arrivals, and top notch service!
I elected to pay for the upgrades and found very little difference
The new seating arrangement is so over priced for what you get.
Snacks are always pretzels. Why can't you also offer peanuts ?
Flight was hours late, unable to sit next to spouse, I have had so much better experiences. Substantially better, only saving grace was that it was a short flight.
An entire day of delays. Cost lots of money. Meals and a hotel.
The boarding process on the departure from LA was rather slow even though I was in Group 1. For first class, I was not expecting to have to pay for Wi-fi but I did and then the wi-fi was spotty. The entree was surprisingly good and so that was a pleasant surprise. However, once I got to Houston, it was terrible. Unfortunately there was bad weather but the constant gate changes for my connecting flight was difficult to manage due to having to navigate back and forth between different terminals.
This planes staff was top tier. Everything went great and had a great flight home.
The pilot had to extend the flight time from san antonio to Houston to burn off fuel. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress since we had a tight connection to Aruba. And with no other flights going to Aruba we were worried about spending a night in Houston. We had to to run to our connection because of the flight crews mistake. Not happy.
The flight was delayed, they didn’t even have water for the toilets or for drinks

Once again, flight was delayed from Houston to ELP by three hours. The last two-three times were flight crew scheduling issues causing significant delays and a stay over. After traveling internationally for business and needing to drive an hour home after landing close to midnight, this is an unsafe situation when exhausted. United has went from a preferred airline of mine to one of the worst due to reliability. As someone who had to get a new passport because I filled it up pre-pandemic, I still ONLY travel because I have to and not because I want to (leisure) because of the consistent subpar experiences. The United lounge closed at 9pm, so we had to sit in general boarding without working power outlets. Thankfully, the lounge had excellent service, abundant quiet space, and improved food selections.
2 hours delay on my flight causing me to miss my connecting flight. Cause was for maintenance. I understand maintenance is important but maintenance should be done before boarding people!
Better perks for corporate employees whom travel often and spend a lot of money with the airlines. Snacks were terrible chips crackers are ideas. Flight and crew were great comfort was fine entertainment not so great so so called status members means nothing
Maybe focus more on delivering a good product vs selling me a damn credit card
In flight connectivity (via T-Mobile) was often not working.
Terrible. Internet/kiosk glitch prevented baggage checkin. Line at ticket co in Ter was under serviced and did not move. Agents did not call for flight but rather allowed time to pass. Then told each person as they reached the front if line that it was too late to check bags so they’d have to rebook flights. At least 15 people missed the flight as a result of this incompetence.
It was exactly what I expected, actually arriving sooner than scheduled.
Terrible, they canceled my flight due to an issue they had, couldn't fly me into the same place within 24 hrs so had to fly in 2.5 hrs away from my destination and spend even more money. The customer service was terrible (except at the airport in Charleston). Had to call to get my checked baggage fees reimbursed 2 wks later in which one customer service agent was very rude, wouldn't listen and then hung up on me. The second lady I spoke with was actually able to help me with that part thankfully. Would not recommend flying AA.
Delayed, missed connecting flight, ground crew double charged for international charges, were super rude and told me to just”deal with it” when I complained. Horrible airline, very frustrating.
Rather than take our chances on stand by since we missed our flight as scheduled due to delay leaving London, we accepted re-booking via Austin. After 2 1/2 hr. wait before going to El Paso we had a very smooth trip and our luggage sent on the missed flight was there for easy claim.
Pros: "Crew was very nice."
Cons: "They should have had vodka for bloody mary and good needs to be improved"
