The exit row food tray was broken and was hard to even sit a good tray on. The emergency exit door isn’t well insulated and we were absolutely freezing cold the entire flight. The seats were hard and uncomfortable. The food was not good for international travel. Overall I was very disappointed in this flight. I travel the world and on long hauls the planes need to be cleaned well and seats in working order."

Cons: "The vents above my entire row of seats did not work, meaning there was never any air coming out even when they were fully open. This made for a long, hot, claustrophobic ride. The flight attendants seemed first disbelieving and later unconcerned that no air came out of our vents. I doubt they even reported them as broken after the flight. Delta's new boarding process is absolute chaos. More than half the plane had no seats assigned until 20 minutes before boarding, and the seats were displayed on a screen a good 25 feet away from the gate, meaning people had to constantly walk back and forth between the doorway and the screen. The gate agents were clearly overwhelmed. If this is how Delta is organized now, I won't be flying on them again."

Cons: "I was shy about 45 min of boarding my flight. I didn't want to do self check out because I wanted to make sure my Itinerary was right so I went to a clerk. She did my boarding pass by verifying who I was and by my Id and printed out. I then go to security they asked for my Id and boarding pass. I gave it to them and she was like Ingrad is not your name doesn't match your ID. I said no it doesn't your going to have to go back up and get my boarding pass redone again. I was Furious and frustrated because I didn't want to miss my flight over a mix up from one of your Clerks and at the time she never asked me if I wanted a window seat or not . This made for a bad experience going to Atlanta but I was grateful that I didn't miss my flight."

Cons: "The flights were both operated by Delta but booked through WestJet, and the flights themselves were fine. The booking was through WestJet (found the flight on kayak which kicked me over to West Jet's site) and check in was a pain. Their code did not work for their site or Delta's, I had to FB message them both leaving and returning to ask for the correct one, and the first request took them hours to answer. I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

Pros: "Victor was wonderful and took care of everyone’s requests with a smile. He worked very hard the whole trip even when not in our view. I also can’t remember a time that I’ve seen a steward deliver the Safety demonstration with such care."
Cons: "I had an earlier flight that was delayed which caused me to get to the counter 50 minutes before my flight left. The attendant at the counter told me there was nothing he could do and that I needed to call Copa’s reservation number, which he couldn’t even give me he said I needed to look it up myself. Then before I had even called the reservation line he said he was closing the ticket counter and wouldn’t be back until 9:30. I called the reservation line who said that there was nothing they could do because my flight hadn’t even left yet and that I needed to talk to the attendant who had already left. I then waiting over 2 hours for the ticket counter to reopen only to be told that all of my flights through Copa had been cancelled and that I would need to pay almost $2000 just to get on different flights. I ended up having to use a completely different airline and spend an additional $1000 because Copa would not help and was extremely rude. This was the first time I would have flown Copa and I will never fly with them again."

Pros: "Meal and drinks served were tasty! Crew is always sour, neve seem approachable and happy. Copa changed EVERY gate!! After being given our boarding passes we with the gate no. On it they changed the gate without notification. Thank goodness we kept our eyes on the board otherwise we would have missed our flight! This is a serious problem with all Copa flights it seems...."

This is crazy but understandable However if you are going to do this to checked in passengers the least you can do is make several, loud, repetitive announcements to make passengers aware as well as send an employee to the gate where your passengers are waiting and notify them that that is the wrong gate, a change has been made, and this is where to go, easy right!!!"

Cons: "I was frustrated by the lack of communication. There was no announcement that the there was even a delay until AFTER the boarding time had passed. I was extremely confused and when the announcement was finally made, it was in Spanish only. Then the flight was cancelled (which is understandable and totally happens) but no one assisted me with rebooking or informed me what was going on. I was traveling alone and it was a very frustrating experience. Overall I was at the airport from 11pm to 4am the NEXT day. We were offered accommodation but not until 11am (our flight was supposed to be at 5am) and then we were shuttled back to the airport at 12 midnight for a 4:40am flight. Then my layover in Panama City was extended by 4 hours. Overall, my travel time was nearly 56 hours."

Made a string of mistakes and errors and showed a lack of customer service typical of anything central american. 1 Canceled a wrong flight of mine 2 Gave me wrong tickets 3 Wanted to charge me to wait stand by after admitting to their own error 4 Were continually rude and or unhelpful with a repeated lack of useful or relevant information to help me make informed decisions. There are many quality airlines out there and this is not one of them. Having flown a bit to central and south america over the past few seasons, there are no shortage of airlines worth the money that provide a positive flying experience."

On flights from Central America, i.e. Panama to Florida, for instance, Copa allows 2 bags per passenger, whereas other airlines may charge baggage fees for even 1 bag. Things are always changing, but they've had generous baggage policies. We appreciate that."
Cons: "Re: Copa in general, if you need to cancel or change, they make you wait 8 weeks to get your refund; so you have to keep checking your credit card statement until you get the refund. A real headache. For some reason, we always have problems with our online check-in on Copa. The Copa check-in personnel are mystified when we tell then that, but nothing changes. We seem destined to have to check in at the counter as online check-in doesn't work for us."

Also, the AC was not working during the flight. We were all melting until we started descending. Then, while waiting to get off the plane, they turned off the AC completely. Bad move."

Felt frostbite, couldn’t move fingers, and have a sinus headache. absolutely appalling this is NY and USA - yet we can’t have car services pick up pasengers outside the door of the airport, instead require to walk 7 minutes and stand in a freezing air tunnel airport garage. Changes my mind on flying to LAGUARDIA in the future"

Cons: "There was hardly any food and no offering of coffee or variety of beverages on this International 10+ hour flight. Seats were small and not very comfortable. On arrival nobody seemed to know which terminal exit family should meet us at, and LAX "information" said they know nothing about what AA does. Unfortunately LAX is just a terrible airport for arrival or departures. But AA needs to show more clearly where family should wait to pick up arriving internal passengers."

Unable to use the entertainment, as I was unaware had to use my own device, which I had not set up in advance."

Cons: "Me cambiaron de asiento arbitrariamente, yo hice check in 24 horas antes para escoger los asientos que me acomodaban a mí y mi acompañante de 12 años ( los primeros) y resulta que por un cambio de avión me dieron los últimos al lado del baño. Lo que fue horrible, el olor, los pasajeros haciendo fila al lado de mi asiento todo el tiempo, sin poder descansar o estar tranquila. Comprendo que pueden haber descompuestos en el avión y cambiarlo por otro pero al menos al re asignar asientos deberían ver los lugares iniciales que tenía cada uno y no dejar a quienes habían solicitado con anticipación los primeros en el último, literalmente en los últimos puestos. Además la comida es bastante mala."

Cons: "The seats are so very narrow that having extra legroom doesn't really matter - only a child or a very, very thin person will find these seats anywhere near adequate. Food (which went flying or falling into my lap as I tried to eat without elbowing my neighbor) was laughably bad, even the crew said they were embarrassed to be serving it. On that note, the crew did not seem happy with the airline, and agreed that economy on the 788 is one of the worst cabins they fly. Entertainment options were good, but when the person in front of you reclines, so does the screen, so if you want to stay more upright you can't really see the screen well. By far one of the worst economy experiences I have ever had. I will go out of my way to chose alternate routes in the future, even going via MIA to avoid the 788."

Pros: "Flight was stuck on the ground for 2 hrs because of a generator issue, so I missed my connection. The United app nicely pre-booked me on the next flight to my destination without my having to do anything, which was cool. Internet didn't work but they refunded my purchase."
Cons: "The legroom is so much worse than jetBlue (which I usually fly) I almost couldn't believe it. Because of the generator issue the flight ended up being almost 9 hours. They ran out of ALL FOOD for purchase except chips (which they didn't even offer for free despite everything), so those of us in the back of the aircraft had our choice of a bag of chips for $4, or no food for 9 hours. Also, I paid $20 for the internet for the entire flight but it only worked for the first hour so I couldn't do any work."

Pros: "The flight itself was uneventful and went as expected."
Cons: "We were instructed to hand in our hand luggage before boarding the plane which meant we had to wait in a long one after the flight to get the luggage back. HOWEVER, the plane had plenty of overhead luggage room to accommodate our luggage. We were told by the cabin staff that the gate personnel don't always check what size plane it is before requiring everyone to hand in their luggage."

Cons: "About two hours before my flight, it was canceled after previously making an airplane switch the night before after checking in online. The I received an email while I was on the way to the airport saying that the airplane that I was going to fly out on was canceled due to airplane maintenance. While I am happy they didn't fly the plane while needing maintenance, they should have planned ahead and known of the maintenance or had a backup ready to go. Obviously it must have been something they just found, but in the big picture of things. You have to pay an way to much for a flight as it is. They should have to solve their own issues to honor their part of the contract. We (as customers) can't cancel a flight with out penalties. Why shouldn't they have to do the same?"
Pros: "On the trip from Des Moines to Houston, timeliness of flight was great. The boarding went smooth and was done quickly. The crew were friendly and courteous. Overall the first half of the trip was fine."
Cons: "I was extremely disappointed in the condition of my luggage when I picked it up plane side. The wheel was broke off and all the pockets had been unzipped and it appeared they had been rummaged through. I had to drag my bag through the terminal. I spoke with 3 individuals with United who referred me onto the next and each unwilling as the previous to help. I myself am in customer service and would never treat my customers the way I was treated by the employees representing your Airline. I would go above and beyond to make the sure that the customers experience was a great one in spite of the unfotunate incident so they would return. I have never flown United before, and I will not consider your airline in the future."
Cons: "I paid extra money for our seats so we cud sit together N I ended up on the front of the plane N my boyfriend clear in the back I'll never fly United again y the hell did I pay almost 25$ per seat to sit together to sit on opposite ends of the plane"

Cons: "I haven't made it. Their computer system was down all morning. I got a pretty inexpensive flight which was refunded. Although I can't go home, all the one way tickets are 3 times the price. Me and my 6 month old baby can't get home to his daddy."

Cons: "They lost my bag for my entire vacation. They found it and "rushed" it to me, but it got waylaid in SFO and would have sat there had I not called them. Then they said they would deliver it to my hotel. When it arrived 4 days later, they said I could pick it up and they would not deliver it. I was 2.5 hours away. I told them to send it home, but they didn't and when I flew home 7 days later, it was still sitting in Munich!"

Cons: "Disenchanted flight attendants. For whatever reason, it is obvious that there is unhappiness. Not flat affect, just the look of disinterest, a look that tells you I don't care. In a customer based business it is so disheartening that the very person you may have to depend on to survive is not vested in the clientele that keeps her company in business, thereby insuring future paychecks. I'd like to communicate here that it wasn't all the attendants on either flight, but enough that it was obvious to anyone who paid even casual attention. I was flying home to California, so there were two additional flights a few days before the flights home. I never had any of the same flight attendants on any of the flight. As far as my observation of the attendants, as stated above, I think that speaks volumes. I will cite an example that happened on my trip from Iowa to Denver. I need wheelchair assistance, I walk with a cane, but not able to walk any distance. I pack a light carry-on, bring my purse, jacket and cane. I was being wheeled up the passageway in a regular wheelchair, and the man pushing me stated to the on-coming crew he "would be right back to get my suitcase, couldn't take both at the same time", and added " unless one of you could roll it up?". After an embarrassing pause, a female flight attendant said "Let the flight attendant do it. Add this to the list of responsibilities that aren't really my job." I actually twisted around to look at this person, I was so stunned to hear that! She grabbed my rolling carry-on handle and the look spoke columns. I was embarrased. Thank you. Debra K. Forsythe"

Cons: "Obnoxious crew, repeating the same instructions over and over. No food, no entertainment. Short flight though."
