Pros: "I only enjoyed the funny pilot, otherwise I only enjoyed the extra time that I was able to spend with my fiancée while waiting for the delayed aircraft."
Cons: "There was no space in the seats, we were delayed three hours, the airline is unorganized. We were given a 15 dollar voucher but that doesn’t compensate for the uncomfortable feeling I heard during the time spent waiting."

Cons: "Boarding in a heavy rain. The flight was delayed hours. All passengers were extremely wet and the air conditioning was so high you could not even see through the fog in the cabin. I couldn’t see my seat number. We sat delayed on the plane with wet clothes for at least 90 min."

Cons: "The flight was 60+ minutes late, due to another plane sitting on the runway. The other plane kept passengers sitting on the tarmac for over an hour. We were told the plane had mechanical problems. The waiting area was so crowded with people it was people standing all over the place...it turned out that 2 flights full of people were waiting there. When we finally boarded, the plane had to be refueled and the plane had to be started up by being jumped or something because one motor was not working normallly; this was a bit frightening. Staff was not even smiling, or even comforting when we boarded. Brief apology by pilot."

From DTW to PHX still didn't get a confirmation email 24 hrs in advance again with any policys or check in. Arrived "on time" but wouldn't let us and other paying customers through to our gate...wanted to make me pay additionally for our return flight the NEXT day when we both had to miss work. Was very disappointed with customer service and the way thinga were handled from the beginning. Frontier has really declined as of recent. Supposed to be going on a trip in October and initially was going to use frontier but not sure I will be any longer. Wouldn't recommend to anyone after that."

Cons: "I hope my concerns are viewed of your company's poor customer service and a policy you enforce without proper notification to your customers. In my arrival to check my bags for my flight is when I became aware of your 45 minute check in policy. If this is a policy you so strictly enforce, then it should also be just as strongly communicated to your customers. However the worst was the terrible customer service. The associates your company employ have no empathy for your customers and lack the proper respect for individuals that represent your company. I asked to speak with a manager who never showed up, after waiting 2 hours I was given an email address, which I did have to use to reach her. I lost the $179 I paid for a flight I missed, took time from work and didn't go on my trip."

Once on board the seat didn't recline and was hard as a rock, not ideal for a 4 hour flight. The flight attendant (Christine) was short tempered. Crew lacked basic soft skills. This was the first and I am pretty sure the last time I will fly on frontier. While I appreciate the low fares I did not expect the low level of customer service or all the extra fees that are tacked on for seats, checked bags and a drink onboard."

I got to witness an employee at the gate conning a man into paying for an additional carry-on insisting his bookbag counted as a bag he had to pay for....excuse me...your website states that if the bag can fit under the seat, then it is not a carry-on that needs to be paid for. His bag could have easily fit under the seat and this employee took complete advantage of the fact he didn't know this. This airline makes me sick with the fact they have the need to nickle and dime every cent they can out of their passengers. Oh, and by the way you have to pay for in-flight beverages....that means the normal sodas/water/coffee you're used to getting as a complimentary drink are also a way for this airline to get a couple more pennies out of you. It's a good thing for this company that they understand exactly where they can take advantage of people who don't always fly, because if people knew about all of these things upfront, this airline would surely lose a lot of people. If you're going to try and be the "cheaper" more "affordable" airline then do so with honesty, hint the quotations I had to put on the words cheaper and affordable. Did the button turn from green to blue, YES, then try again later. Really? No hurry, airline is customer service oriented, cough. Then called, 3 more almost impossible attempts to speak to a human. Tsk, Time waining, no pressure. Actually lots, Got to airport, tried to check in for boarding pass and inserted credit card after entering data. Nothing again, Oh, line at baggage claim filling up, but wait I'm way early, but still being stressed, next card works while both were good everywhere else. Thanks for asking for my opinion mechanism that does nothing or the process would have been easier form the start. oh and the one free carry on I paid $30 for cause rushed at the gate, have one on me! Cons: "I'm very tall with long legs. So I was a little cramped but, for the price I made dew. Frontier's price was a fourth or less than the other airlines with a staight flight nonstop."

When booking the flight we were looking for a reasonable price which we found with frontier, not reading the fine print they charged us for carry on bags. We ended up checking bags which cost us another $140. Along with this frustration, the seats are horribly uncomfortable and the amount of leg room is ridiculous. I understand maximizing out seats but this was way over the top. I will not be flying Frontier again"

Everything was ok besideds the 6 hrs of delay time and the airline trying to trick me to pay for carry ons.l through the check in process. Just dont pay it and right in with your carry ons."

No drinks or snacks unless you have a credit/debit card to buy a soda and snack for 2 bucks, seats seem smaller and the "snack" tray was smaller than a book. But I guess since they don't offer drinks and snacks with your ticket you really don't need that tray. I had to purchase this ticket due to a death in my family and it was the least expensive, but if I had a choice it would have been with Southwest Airlines. At least they still make you feel human."

Cons: "The first flight (6:25am) was cancelled, supposedly, due to "mechanical" problems. I'm calling horse-hockey on that, because there were a lot of empty/available seats when I was checking in the night before. I was at the airport at 5am, and learned of the cancellation (rescheduled to 1:35pm) at the kiosk. The seat on the Airbus jet was the most uncomfortable imaginable. OK leg room, but absolutely no cushioning. The flight home was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever had....and it was only 2.5 hours."

Their flights seem cheap, until you take the flight and they charge you for every little thing- checked bags ($25 each), carry on bag($$35!!), seat ($16, and no, there are NO FREE seats. They even charge you for a soda on the flight- no complimentary soda/juice). By the time it was all said and done, it would have been cheaper to take almost any other airline."
Spirit is fine. For the price, you get what you get. However, kayak cancelled my reservation for an unknown reason causing me a lot of time and hassle. However the spirit employees were able to help me get my booking reinstated without any fees.

It was supposed to depart Detroit at 7:31am, we all had to get up at 4:30am to get ready and drive to the airport and it traveling with a 14 months old alone. So we get to the airport only to find out the flight has been delayed! They kept pushing it back further and it ended up being 2 hours delayed due to the fact they were 1 flight attendant short. My toddler was not happy having to sit at the airport for 3+ hours, never mind the fact she also had to get up at 5am. We sat at the last row and seats were very narrow and no leg room. We had to listen to the loud engine the entire time and strong smell of fuel during landing. My baby's ear hurt during landing and cried. I'm very unsatisfied with the flying experience with Spirit. Oh, our first flight was also delayed, from Tampa to Detroit, over 3 hours delayed! I don't think I'll be flying with sprirt again."
Cons: "There is a fee for everything. They now charge for carry ons, if you need to print your boarding pass, you're being charged for that. If I would have known, I would have flown Delta where there are no hidden fees and I can have 10 more lbs in my suitcase. I was 2 lbs over and the girl actually wanted me to fix it."

Cons: "Delayed boarding 40 minutes. My boyfriends flight delayed 3 hours and my sons flight delayed 2 hours."
Pros: "Had cup noodle on the plane, though it was the most expensive cup noodle I've ever had ($3.50), it was very tasty and satisfied my hunger. Bathroom in the back of the plane was one of the cleanest I've seen on a plane."
Cons: "We were told to get ready for landing and we could see that the plane was getting really close to the ground. It seemed like we were just inches above ground, when suddenly the plane went straight up in the air like a rocket. No one knew what was going on and why we did that. We went up pretty high, above clouds again. The pilot nor flight attendants informed us of anything and 15 minutes after circling around in the sky, the pilot informed us while stammering that we had to dodge a thunderstorm or strong winds. Then another 15 minutes of silence (from the crew) we finally touched down after tons of turbulence. It was the most traumatic experience for me and my family. Everyone on the plane clapped for joy when we finally landed. I don't know if we would want to fly with Spirit any time soon."
