Members of the US Armed Forces, spouses, and children of members of the US Armed Forces;
Travelers with invitation of the USA government for a purpose related to the containment/mitigation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19);
Travelers with documents issued by the US Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection, or US Department of State indicating that the traveler is exempt from the restriction;
B1 crew crewmembers that are engaged in lightering, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) activity, wind farm activity, private air/sea crew and other similar crewmember activities;
Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.
Travelers arriving in Massachusetts must complete the Massachusetts Health Form.
Travelers are advised to get tested 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for 7 days after travel. Even if they test negative, they must still stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days. If the test is positive, isolate to protect others from getting infected.
Travelers who did not get tested, are advised to stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel.

When I couldn't find my customs form they took me out of security to immigration. I found it in my luggage at immigration but at this point it was 10:05pm and I wasn't catching the flight. Plus the guy who led me to immigration was gone. They never told me that if I couldn't find it in my luggage then I would have to leave the airport. Or if they just started boarding on time we would have made the flight. Instead they told us no refunds or exchanges and there was nothing they could do for us. We bought new tickets through your website with Volaris and are now waiting at the airport for our 6am flight. Not going to make much use of that hotel reservation in Guatemala tonight either! Interjet could have boarded on time, explained our options, exchanged our tickets for a fee, or helped us make the flight for which we paid. We are traveling to Guatemala for our wedding on Lake Atitlán, so not the start we wanted. But making the best of it!"

Your part was at the level I expected. Just wasnt happy with the overall situation."

Cons: "I arrived 3 hours early at the airport and waited until the last hour where my gate was posted on screen as gate 5, as I waited for my flight to board I noticed there was no movement going on at my gate,I didn’t think anything of it since my flight to Cancun was 30 min late in boarding, not because it was on delay they just took that long to let us board. I got up a couple times to make sure the gate was still the same and yes nothing had changed. As I was waiting I saw so many people complaining about the gates being posted where not the correct ones leading to a couple passengers missing their flights , there were a lot of angry passengers at another gate due to them almost missing flight for same reason. I got up to check on my gate and the attendant told me the gate was changed to gate 23 and how they had already boarded. Ever been to the airport in Mexico City? It is extremely huge , I had to Run to from gate 5 to 23 with my luggage in hand and believe me , it was one of worst experiences, the airport was crowded and it was hot , my flight was set to depart at 5pm and at 4:53 pm is when I took off running, it took me 10 min to get to the gate even though I had only stopped 3 times for max of 10 seconds to catch my breath. I got to the gate at they were about to close the doors , I boarded and got extremely sick on the airplane and it didn’t even end up taking off until 6 pm. It was the worst 3 hour flight of my life ,I got very dehydrated and was having panic attacks due to not being able to breath properly. I am definitely not flying Interjet again, staff and airline was very unorganized in the airport posting wrong gates and not updating information on screens causing passengers to miss and almost miss flights."

On this leg, the one home to Monterrey, they moved the flight back three hours and forced me to miss it, and they couldn't fly me home for over 24 hrs. I canceled the flight for some refund, and then spent hundreds buying a new flight on a new airline. This happens a lot, and I won't fly with them anymore unless there is no choice. It's a shame as I really like their seats/legroom and they have really polite professionals working for them."

The combination of bad acoustics, very noisy air conditioning fan motor, poor microphone quality and poor microphone technique meant the PA system was unintelligible. The screens still didn't give me any gate info for my flight. Aha, now they are admitting there's a delay, I'll go and find an Interjet person and find out how long the delay will be. What do you mean the flight has departed?! Why did you not call me, or come to the departure hall and call my name? Unbelievable. Interjet insist that the check-in person should have explained to me that the screens were not to be trusted, but I don't remember that; I remember being told to go through Departures and wait for a gate number."

Cons: "I had an overall awful experience with Spirit, and will be very hesitant to fly with them again in the future. When trying to check-in online for my flight, I received notice that my flight had been delayed approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and it was not allowing me to check in online. I did not think anything of it since the flight was delayed and I had more than enough time to make it the airport, check-in, and everything else required for flying. I arrived at the airport around my flights' original boarding time, still over an hour and a half before that updated boarding time, way more than enough time for the New Orleans airport. When I tried to check-in, the automated machine told me it was too late and to get help. When I went to talk with an agent, they informed me I was too late to check in for my flight. She informed me that even though I was prevented from checking in online, and was informed my flight was delayed, AND I was at the airport with way more time than needed to get through security and get to my gate, that I was not going to be able to check in in-person and that they gave my seat away. She informed me that even though the plane had landed two minutes prior and still had to deplane everyone, do a maintenance check, re-fuel, and board everyone else (giving me way more than enough time to be there), that since I was not there at least an hour before my original boarding time that they had given my seat away and I would not be allowed on the flight. Since there were no other options for me to take a different flight for another 24 hours, and with everything stated above, I was obviously in a very frustrating circumstance. I feel very screwed over by the online check-in procedure and the airline giving my seat away even though I had way more time than needed to get to the plane before it left. Despite the frustrating situation, I did a very good job of keeping my cool, not raising my voice, and trying to respectfully discuss the situation and my options with the agent. However, she was INCREDIBLY rude to me throughout the whole process. She was very condescending in all of her responses, refused to try and help me with other options, and repeatedly flat out ignored questions I was asking to try and figure out what was going on. This may have been even worse than 'missing' my flight on suspect circumstances, and having to re-book a last second and expensive flight with another airline to make ensure I made it to my Brother's wedding on time. I cant believe how absolutely rude and disrespectful and customer service employee was to me when I was being calm and respectful while trying to get information from her (which is her job). This was an awful experience, and I was not even refunded for the flight I was not allowed on. I doubt I will ever fly with Spirit again due to both the sketchy circumstances giving my seat away dspite being there plenty early for my delayed flight, and the disrespectful behavior of the agent."

Cons: "The booking process was very difficult. It didn't include baggage or seat fees which caused an addition $75 in fees on top of the ticket price. The check in process and baggage payment was horrible and had to be done by creating an online account. The origination flight was delayed causing a missed connection at Fort Lauderdale. Spirit customer service was nice, but they had zero resources to do anything. I had to re book on Southwest which was wonderful! They were so accommodating, and even tried to bring breakfast due to the horrible issues with Spirit."

If they could have I am sure they would have charged me 25 dollars for a seat-belt and charged me 10 dollars for using the airplanes bathroom. They are the epitome of money grubbing cheapskates. this is not to mention the seats being at least 4 inches closer together than any other plane I have ever been on. crammed in their like sardines. Spirit airlines is a complete pile of $hit and I will never be flying with them again."

All other airlines were leaving except for the Spirit flight 756. After 2 hours in line at the counter I was told that they could offer me another seat on a flight in 5 days ( Wednesday) or a refund of the entire return flight. I asked for the refund. No receipt for refund was received. nor an email message that the refund was processed. I booked another flight for $705 to return overnight to EWR through Guatemala. Please provide phone number and info on how to receive the refund."

Cons: "They were late departing San Juan and late arriving in Orlando. The sticker near the boarding door said they had the newest fleet in the air but the leather on the top of all of the seat backs looked worn and the carpet by my seat needed cleaning or replacing. The crew in the passenger compartment didn't seem to be wearing any kind of uniforms or matching clothing. I never saw a cart come down the isle. They were also quite slow in deplaning the passengers. They required the passengers continuing on the flight to deplane so that they could clean the aircraft for the next crew after which those passengers reboarded."

I will pay a little more for a padded seat and not nickel and dime policy. 2 seats and 2 checked bags round trip cost $20 less then my plane tickets because of the BARE FARE. That includes a bare seat with no padding."

They don't even serve water during the flight. Planes are tiny and old. No space. On our flight back home we missed our connection due to a sick passenger. When we got to the gate the plane was just leaving. We were sent to customer service, and the only alternative given to us was a flight three days later. This was outrageous. I was traveling with my 71 year old mom and they expected us to spend three days sleeping at the airport. We refused to do so and bought tickets on delta. Other families with small children who had also lost their flights had no other choice but to stay and wait. This airline treats customers with no courtesy. Clerks are rude and in humane. They could care less if you lose your flight and have to spend days sleeping at the airport. They have literally no customer service. This airline should be shut down by the FAA."
