Pros: "I made a flight, canceled it that day and booked on a different airline. But, I never got a cancellation email. So all I saw was the JetBlue flight. Last night, I got an email from Kayak telling me to check in so my daughter went to the wrong airport to the wrong flight!!"
Cons: "Why was Kayak not notified that I don't have this flight anymore? I booked 2 months ago...didn't remember the details. Do you know how confusing it is to get a check-in email, after no cancellation email? So when I search my email all that comes up is the flight that was canceled! Bad communication"
Pros: "Nothing about this airline. Will avoid flying through Delta if they allow their team to lie to their passengers. Both land crew and onboard crew were disrespectful to their passengers."
Cons: "agent boarding delayed boarding because she wanted everyone to check their bags. A flight that was leaving 2 minutes later than our flight started boarding before our plane. It wasn't that the 2 planes arrived at different times. The agent was just horrible. In the end, she lied to the passengers that there were no overhead space left. When I went to get my seat, most of the overhead space was empty!! I had to check-in my bag and my bag was damaged by the delta crew."
Cons: "Delta flies a lot of the CRJ planes, even on relatively longer trips. Traveling first class, the seats are a little wider than in coach and have a little more leg room, but calling it "first class" is a bit of an exaggeration. It's more like what coach used to be before the days of the flying sardine cans."

Pros: "The pilot, Mr. Howes, I believe, came out and personally thanked everyone for flying Delta. It was a nice touch to see the actual pilot that was flying and me home and that he shared his gratitude. Go DELTA!!"

One of my suitcases was left in Frankfurt during the layover. The suitcase arrived the next day so, I had to get a cab to drive me for over 200 kilometers to go back to the airport to pickup the suitcase. After I picked up the suitcase and left the airport, I realized that one of the wheels of the suitcase is broken. When I tried to submit a complaint, the system did not allow me to do that because I have to do it at the airport and I have only three days to submit the complaint. Given that I am staying 200 kilometers away from the airport, I am not going to go back again to the airport to submit the complaint about the suitcase. I spent all that money on airline tickets to go to Algeria to be on vacation not to go back and forth for 200 kilometers between where I am staying and the airport.

Cons: "Flight turned around after 2 hours, we were delayed 7.5 hours and missed an entire day in Rome. Instead of landing at 8 AM, we landed closer to 4 PM."

Cons: "The entire experience was abominable. I will go out of my way to not fly on Spirit Airlines again. I completely understand that it is a budget airline so there are some concessions that are to be made, but not a single thing went correctly, was comfortable, or on time for this entire round trip. I do see their business structure to keep ticket cost down, but the prices they were charging for baggage and seats was downright robbery."

They gouge you for any baggage at ridiculous prices. ......so that's why the flight tickets were so cheap!"
Pros: "First time flying Spirit with my dog (not Service, so paid for on board in cabin) and the flight attendants were very aware and accommodating for Snuffles, checking on if he needed water, seeing he was okay. Honestly have never had that with any other airline. They even moved my seat to window seat so there would be more legroom! Best flying experience I've had period with an airline and my dog. Amazing quick checkin too"

Cons: "They quote one price for checked baggage if you pay when the ticket is purchased, another if you pay before check-in, and a third price if you purchase at check-in. When I purchased my tickets through KAYAK, I was not offered an option to pay for a bag. When I paid for the bag a full day before I checked in, I was charged the full price with no other options available - in other words, THEY LIED. I emailed a question to their customer service address; it went unacknowledged and unanswered. The flight itself went OK, but the seats don't recline at all, there is very little knee or elbow room, and the padding is the worst I have experienced. If you are larger than average or have knee or back problems, expect to be in torment. They charge for EVERYTHING, even plain water. After paying full price for my checked bags, the savings for the flight over other carriers was simply not worth the discomfort."
Pros: "Here's the thing... With Spirit you know what you're getting. It has the least leg-room of any airline in North America and virtually no services. If you're bringing a bag of any kind you may be better off traveling with a competing airline. There won't be complimentary snacks or beverages and there won't be in flight entertainment. Make sure you bring your own, and be sure you know how long you can be comfortable on a flight that feels more like a long distance bus than an airline. That said, if you can get away with what you can carry in a small backpack and you aren't bothered by the possibility of cancellations or delays then nothing beats the price of a Spirit flight. The flight attendants and other staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and improvements have been made in their on-time record. Spirit is low cost, low frills. You get what you pay for, and if all you're paying for is transportation this is a good option."
