The flight was delayed by a hour and I wish they had communicated it sooner. No issues on the plane, it did take a while for food to come.
The Manila airport was under renovation so there was no business class lounge. The double security check was disorganized and the flight attendants were grouchy.
Know that the movies that you are going to be offered are the oldest be rated movies they could possibly get. They may have one or two new movies that they keep advertising but when you’re flying 15 hours, there is nothing to see past the first new movie.
United didn’t even try to hold the flight for me. They knew I had a tight connection and when I arrived at the gate less than 10 mins after final boarding the flight had already gone. The gate agent wasn’t even notified that I was on my way. She was told I wasn’t at the airport
Everything went well except the turbulence what no one have a control of but pilot and crew handled very good!
I still prefer Delta, but Delta doesn’t fly to State College PA.
This flight was delayed multiple times and eventually canceled around 2-3ish. Original take off time was around 10:30am. By 3, there were no other options out of Houston, so stuck in Houston for from 3pm - 11am the next day.
Nothing bad to say about the actual crew or airline. It was nice to have a complimentary FULL can of soda, as well as a snack. Blankets and earbuds were also provided at no cost for this red eye flight. I especially appreciated the free WiFi and movie selection with the Bluetooth option. It helped the flight pass more quickly. No matter who you fly, boarding and disembarking are always SUCH a pain. As I mentioned, this is on the passengers and not the crew!!
Flight attendants rude and impolite… flight delayed by almost 5 hours.
Ok so apparently the new policy on United Airlines is that customers in the main cabin should NEVER be served more than once and besides picking up trash there should NEVER be another interaction with the customer for any reason.
I found the seats ergonomically uncomfortable forcing the body to seat slightly hunched. For a short flight I worked on adjustments but for a longer flight, it would be difficult.
The flight was on time and the landing was very smooth. The crew and flight attendants were all very friendly and professional.
Message about flight cancelation was received late due to being in the air. No explanation, just canceled and booked on morning flight. We had to stay in the airport overnight because there was no transportation offered to get to the hotel that AA had available. Actual inflight was fine.
Bag drop was very disorganized in Miami. All main cabin passengers were shunted to just a few lanes and they had an equal number of lanes for first class passengers but there was nobody on those lines. They did nothing to bring the main cab and passengers over to the open lines and they just had employees standing there and doing nothing

Staff at the gate were incredibly rude, hostile and threatening. Never fly American Airlines.

The flight was delayed till next day ! They kept delaying every 30 minutes then after 3 hours they delayed it till next day. We kept waiting in line standing more than an hour to get the hotel and meal vouchers. There was no communication at all. Everything was bad

When I agreed to give up my two seats because of overbooking by the airline, I should have been offered some sort of reward or credit towards a future flight. I was not. It was not until the next day when I mentioned it to a Jet Blue employee that I was advised to call 1-800-JetBlue. So here I am, having done Jet Blue a favor and I had to do the work to find out if I was going to get a credit. Such service
A nightmare. Scheduled flight delayed 2 hours then cancelled because pilot timed out . Unable to find another pilot. Really?! Weather certainly a factor, but JetBlue seemed totally unprepared for the chaos that ensued when flight routes were cancelled. More cancelled flights, finally many of us who had been bumped from other flights were allowed to board a Boston bound plane around 3:00am, delay after delay, sat on tarmac for another half hour while pilot dealt with weight distribution issues (?), arrived in Boston 4:30. Crew were wonderful- same attendants all day and night and they were exhausted. Fortunately for me and my son that Boston was our final destination, not so lucky for many who missed connecting flights.
Complete and total debacle from start to finish. HUGE mistake picking this airline. NEVER again! Rudest staff in the business.
It's not JetBlues fault but there was a smell on the plane (possibly other travelers) and 3 children behind me that never quit whining. Soccor fans that were very loud. Pilot brought the plane down from high altitude quickly, dropping us hu dress of feet at a time. I've never felt that intense of dropping on other airlines (usually fly Southwest Airlines). But I arrived safely and I'm thankful for that.
Seats were great, the staff was great, and the food was about the best I've had on a plane, and is especially the best of any US-based carrier I've flown. Free Wi-Fi was also great.

The flight was delayed 14 hours and communication was very poor. No one seemed to know what was happening and the gate agent was trying to help people for several flights. She was by herself trying to help 100s of people.
Purchased through 3rd party vendor which made everything difficult. Unable to check in online. Unable to get flight updates easily, tsa precheck information didn’t carry through, longer time to check in in person. Entertainment looked good but had to purchase conventional headphones to view.
Even though the weather made a lot of flights become cancelled Jet Blue made the flight that was supposed to leave at 9 pm and we left at 12:15 am and I was so grateful- Thanks to the Senior Jet Blue Staff who made those decisions
We were made to wait in the airport for six hours for a flight that was ultimately canceled.
It was chaotic. It was overbooked so we didn't have seats until the end but they turned out to be good seats. The gate was at the end of the airport. We had to get busses to the tarmac and board. It just seemed chaotic. Flight was OK. Food was not so good. Lufthansa used to be such a great airline and now as it's with everything else: If you have money you get comforts but if you don't then you end up below deck with the rest of the cattle.
Disappointing. Too many let-downs, in delays and communication, by both Lufthansa and Discover to put in an email. I am resigned to the fact that this is what I should expect from all airlines. Unfortunately.
Not the best overall, had challenges during boarding due to the weight of my carry-on (over 8 kilos). Interesting enough they don't check all carry-on bags. It was very stressful as Discover worker kept insisting, I had to check my bag. I finally was able to get an exception to keep my carry-on, however, I felt racially discriminated and embarrassed by this. The flight did not have WIFI access and the timing to connect between flights is not enough. As the flight leaving Philadelphia to Frankfurt was delayed, I had about an hour to make my connection. I had to run and ask people to let me go first during immigration and security so I could then barely make it to my next flight, and it was the same process on the way back. It was a disappointed experience overall.

While booking through Lufthansa, when flight is operated by other airlines, you don't necessarily get the quality of Lufthansa. That said, I was passed over on both meals served. While I had my eyes closed or asleep, no attempt was made to serve me or wake me for the service, which is something new. When I took it upon myself to get out of my seat, track down an attendant, and ask for a meal, the attendant would kindly serve me. Of more concern, however, is the lack of selection for the meal. Being diabetic and insulin dependent, I could not eat what was served. The first meal was pasta with a small slaw/salad and a bun. The second meal was a muffin and another pastry. In all, I could only eat the salad, which amounted to next to nothing. Fortunately (for Discover) I had brought food/snacks to carry me through the flight. Otherwise, I might have reached a low blood sugar. With diabetes becoming more prevalent, Discover may consider more eating options to accomodate all passengers.
Terrible. There was a rattling noise the whole flight. The internet didn't work after I paid. Boarding is very disorganized.
I didn't like much about this flight. Almost no entertainment choices...and not available what was listed. Food not good.
Flight left late. Missed connection. Rebooked in the morning. United couldnt find rebooking. Had to buy a new ticket to get home. Horrible all the way.

Seats were comfortable, but boarding was the worst I've ever seen. Way too much walking to get onboard as we had to go up & down steps several & then bus took us halfway around the airport for boarding & had to board outside after a very long bus rood.
Thanks to a delay of an hour of my flight to Philadelphia on American Airlines I missed my connecting flight to Amsterdam. On arrival at Philadelphia he crew on the delayed flight did not ask the passengers to let connecting passengers get off first and I arrived a few minutes after boarding was closed at the original time for the flight to AMS, this despite the fact that I had received a message from American Airlines that departure was delayed by 25 minutes. Overall very poor service, no effort from the part of American Airlines to accommodate the passenger, just rebook the flight for the next day.
Crew were fantastic and the aircraft was extremely comfortable, but outdated. Headphone jacks were worn out and sound normally only came out of one ear unless positioned just right.
The Britts are wonderful to fly with and the crew were very hospitable. Again, I really wish they had been able to retrieve my carryon bag from baggage claim before the flight so I could be in a less worrisome state of mind, but that's not on them. I completely understand. The window seats with the dimmable windows were very cool!
The seats were comfortable. So many empty seats allowed for stretching out and sleeping. The onboard entertainment was pretty good. The cabin crew were so kind and kept the passengers well- hydrated, and well fed.
I gave a very poor review for th flight over (Pitt to London) due to terrible seat comfort. Different plane on the way back and it was much better. The flight was delayed over an hour taking off but only landed about 15 minutes late.

Poor technical details on this plane. 1) There was no WiFi on an 8 hour long-haul flight. So no work could be done. That's below the standard expected for airlines these days. 2) The power outlet at my seat was busted and not working. 3) The headphone jack was loose and I had to keep adjusting my headphones to get good reception, or when it slipped out. - The flight was delayed to due mechanics. Sometimes this can't be avoided, I understand, and it's a big inconvenience to arrive that much later when traveling across time zones (then arriving at 4am from the prior time zone). - Also unique to this flight, the northern lights were visible on the right side of the aircraft, but I only found out after we landed (b/c again no wifi). I understand there are considerations about people being out of their seats to look, but I feel extremely disappointed and resentful that I wasn't told so that I could have a chance to look at this probably once-in-a-lifetime cosmic event from a view in the sky. - Flight crew was otherwise friendly and helpful.
It’s such a short flight with so many people it’s hard to see the positives. I have so much more to write about the next flight to Pittsburgh. I upgraded my seat to business class and expected so much from it as I’ve never flown business before. It was quite expensive to do so but I have autism and sensory issues I felt it was needed. The seats were ok but the cabin crew spent around 3 hours in the middle talking loudly about what they were going to do in Pittsburgh for 2 nights. They obvs want people to try and sleep in the middle stint but they just kept opening and closing the overhead bin above my seat so they could get out their chocolates and sweets. Very unpleasant and unprofessional imo. Is it worth the money?? If I’m just taking it off this (my one and only experience) then no definitely not. No wifi on the flight either even though it was advertised.
The passenger next to me was a large man who should have been required to buy 2 seats. He boarded early with people who needed extra time because he had to try and fit in the seat. He was actually partly on my seat and his leg into my space for my bag under the seat. It was a very cramped 8 hours
