Cons: My bag was lost, but I think that was more of an American Airlines issue than a Alaska one.
Pros: The crew was great and online booking put our two grandkids on our itinerary with us!
Pros: The crew was professional in every way,
Cons: There were a couple of individuals with oversized carry-ons that held up boarding as they tried repeatedly to get the carry-ons into the overhead bins. Utilizing a carry-on sizing tool in the gate area would have identified these two oversized carry-ons PRIOR to boarding and could have kept everyone safer. Instead, passengers behind the offenders were waiting while the bags were opened, items removed, and another attempt made at stuffing them into the overhead bins, all while passengers already seated were subjected to even more compromised social distancing in enclosed spaces.
Pros: They were rude and the ride was tight. Over packed
Cons: Our flight from Dublin arrived late, we missed our connection to the Alaska airlines. Since the arrival from Dublin came into terminal 1 and our Alaska airlines flight was in terminal 6 we would most likely have not made our connection anyway. Since we had a 3rd party booking they could do nothing.
Pros: My bags are not check-in all the way to my final destination from an International Flight. My flight was delayed .
Cons: I wish passengers from an international flight has a better checkin baggage policy. I don't have to re-checkin again to my final destination.
Cons: Still no tablets for movie viewing. I get that you have an app.. but I sure miss the bigger than my phone screen tablets to watch on.
Cons: I was in the middle seat between two heavy ladies . I had no room to move. They lost my sis in laws luggage
Pros: nothing you took me for my money and made me spend an extr $1600 dollars to get home from half way around the world. I felt you would have higher expectations from your service to people
Cons: treated me like i was a person and not someone that you are just collecting money from to pad your wallets
Pros: It was on time
Cons: The ground staff was careless, thus, they just broke my Second baggage in that transit.
Pros: Very smooth landing. Love the leg room, even in economy. Makes me come back to alaska since Im tall! Spotlessly clean, love that being a germaphobe.
Cons: A little stingey with giving an entire can of soda (refused). Probably because it was a regional flight operates by SkyWest. Ill live, just was a bit surprised (my one way ticket cost $400, and I cant even get a WHOLE can of soda? Like, really?)
Pros: Cheap to upgrade to first class, friendly staff efficient boarding.
Cons: WiFi network was broken.
Pros: I didnt die.
Cons: That they fed me cookies all day. Better tasting water. Variety of free snacks.
Pros: That the fly was on time.
Cons: I didn’t like the attendance she was rude. They took my ID and they didn’t gave it back Can you please mail to my addres. 4420 Oregon st apt #1 San Diego ca92116
Pros: Flying Alaska airlines is always something I have a bittersweet relationship. I love almost everything that Alaska does to improve their airline. Their wifi is some of the best in the US and its very affordable. Their "picnic box" snacks are awesome and unique, better than what you will find elsewhere, they have USB and full AC outlets at every seat, and their rewards program is the best in the business. By all accounts, AlaskaAir would be my favorite airline out there. But the staff that Alaska hires is just so terrible. Everytime I fly with them, they have simply the worst staff. Pair this with some of the best features of any airline and it leaves me scratching my head on whether or not I want to fly with them or to fly with an airline like Delta which might have fewer frills, but offers much better staff to help you.
Cons: The flight attendants were maybe the worst on any flight ever.
Pros: Everything was great!
Pros: Overall it was smooth and quick and a great flight. Will be choosing Alaska again.
Cons: The crew's attitude could've been better
Cons: Had to ask for food to eat. Primary meal were heated cookies that could have been used as rocks. Took forever for crew to get drinks and serve. The worst first class I have ever been on. Seats were like riding in a 50 year old car.
Pros: The plane didn't have any mechanical issues.
Cons: The flight was late because the previous plane had issues.
Pros: on time
Cons: I have never been on a flight where I was bumped in the leg or arm repeatedly. Passengers were constantly up and down the aisle along with the carts hawking their wares. I trussed myself up like a turkey with the seatbelt so I wasn't on the armrest so as not to get hit again. My grandson who is a lot smaller than I, tried to put his head down to sleep on the tray table. He looked so uncomfortable. I know the deal is butts in the seats, but even the seat bottom is horribly uncomfortable. These planes have become cattle buses. I put up with it because there is no choice and I can't afford first class.
Pros: The flight was quick
Pros: In my flight form ANC to FAI the check in was seemless. I was given a bag for my car seat. I was able to check my pack n play no issues. Checking my bag
Cons: My flight back my cab driver was late. I got there at 530 first of all the baggage drop lady was rude and looked me up and down before choosing to talk to me. I was told they didn't have bags for my car seat and that I missed my flight. By the time I scheudled a new flight and made it through security to wait for my 9 am instead of 6 am flight the flight I was suppsosed to be on was boarding. Also when I checked my bags after being told I had to call the 1800# instead of use the customer service desk I was told that I had to pay for my pack n play. When it was not charged on the way up.
Pros: Not just a cookie but an option for more variety of snacks . Not just something sweet but maybe a more savory.
Cons: The crew was very nice . There was a long delay in Stewardess coming to pick up trash . That's really my own complaint. Boarding was quick. Overall experience was
Pros: Flight attendants were so helpful.
Pros: The option to upgrade to first class for a reasonable price
Pros: the folks at Alaska Airlines were super helpful and outgoing. They really make your happiness a priority.
Pros: I liked how friendly the attendants were and how the pilot included us on what was going on
Pros: After traveling on United earlier this week and having a horrific experience, Alaska airlines was the complete opposite. I had no problem making connecting flights, and all your staff was very friendly And helpful! I only wish you were in the southwestern part of the country as I live in Tennessee!
Pros: The flight was on time and very comfortable. Nice leg room. I could plug in my phone to charge which I thought was great. They even had tablets that you could rent and watch a movie. Checking in was uneventful - very smooth.
Cons: The only problem was that we had one piece of luggage that didn't make to Syracuse with us. It was taken off the plane in Seattle and not put on our next flight. We are waiting for it's arrival. Hopefully soon.
Pros: There was nothing out of the ordinary for this trip. I paid for my ticket and I got a ride to Salt Lake.
Cons: Alaska Airline trip was nothing special at all. I did notice more people did not look the crew in the eye as much as in past trips. Passengers seemed more timid than normal engage a crew member, opting more to keep to themselves.
Pros: This was our first time using Alaska Airlines and they were great! Checking in online was easy. Flight attendants and other staff were friendly and seemed to have your best interest in mind. My husband and I had a 20 hour layover in LA coming back from Costa Rica and we asked if we would have to pay another fee to recheck our bag for the second flight. They were very understanding and waived the fee since our overnight stay in LA was technically a layover and we had previously made the whole reservation for both flights at once using their company. Overall we liked our experience with Alaska and would definitely use them again!
Pros: More legroom than any airline I remember flying with recently. Super friendly gate agents ( needed to make a seat change last minute) and fun flight crew. Flight left 10 minutes ahead of schedule since all passengers were on board.
Pros: Our flight was delayed from Mexico, so we raced to another terminal from the international terminal at LAX. He gate had actually been closed but they got permission to open it again just for us.
Cons: My things got stolen and I filed a complaint but no one got back to me!!!!
Pros: Good flight, left on time, arrived early, friendly crew.
Cons: Not that I feel entitled, but the complimentary movies and tv through my computer didn't work at all. The splash screen at airborne.gogoinflight.com worked fine, but airbornemedia.gogoinflight.com just timed out every time I tried to load it. So, that was a no-go.
Pros: The gate staff and flight staff were courteous and friendly.
Cons: The flight was delayed over two hours and even when that delay was reduced at the gate, it was delayed yet again. Plus, my baggage was over 30 minutes late at baggage claim.
Pros: The crew was great, friendly and helpful. Very nice interior of the aircraft.
Cons: No air from the vent. Very warm, was sweaty the whole flight.
Pros: Sure did like the new plane. Quiet and comfortable
Pros: All good in Alaska air!!! Would fly them again no problem.
Pros: My trip going to California and coming back home was so nice. I had no problems, everyone were eager to help. I felt so comfortable. The plane was clean. I would travel with Kayak (Alaska airlines ) again.
Cons: I have no complaints.
Pros: Alaska airlines is amazing! I always feel very welcome, and there is never any hassle.
Pros: The crew was friendly.
Cons: The seats were uncomfortable, but it may have been that I was squeezed against the window because of the extremely obese person in the middle seat. It would be nice if there is a person who cannot fit in the seat to have them be moved to a larger seat. Not sure if that is realistic or not, but it is pretty uncomfortable to have a stranger's stomach fold laying on your leg for 3+ hours.
Pros: Airplane was very quiet for a prop plane.
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Reasonable baggage fee. Comfortable flight, seats, etc. Plenty of space for legs (I'm 6'4"). Requested window seat was available. Pleasant, professional staff at the gate. A little rough over the mountains -- but that always happens to SLC. Our flight was actually early. Baggage was waiting for me at the carousel when I arrived -- and I went almost directly there. I've never had that happen before -- great. I will fly Alaska again.
Cons: My only complaint was with check-in. I used the self-serve kiosk, which was easy to follow and efficient. The problem arose when I needed to check my bag. The computer instructs the passenger to go to the "baggage drop-off area," which I did. However, there was nobody there to receive my bag or to check my ID and give me a boarding pass. There was staff helping other customers at the "full-service" area, and I tried to get their attention. All I got in return was a head shake "no." This was especially frustrating since one of the staff members was observing other staff -- not actually working the computer to check in customers. I understand that she may not be able to leave her post to operate another post, but it seems reasonable to walk the mere 10 feet over to me to explain that I am in the right area and someone will assist me shortly. I ended up getting in line, which defeats the purpose of the kiosk, only to see a staff member show up to the drop off area. Going back, everything went fine from there.
Pros: Service, flight on time
Cons: All was good. No problems
Pros: The service of drinks. They combined my two favorite juices for me at my request and it was delicious...and so was the 2nd one. It looked so good, my seat mates asked for the same and loved it. On the flight to Hawaii was very comfortable, though probably because it wasn't as crowded.
Cons: That on my way back, they switched me over to American, who hooked me with extra charges against my will, without any alternative choices.
Pros: For full plane went well
Cons: Nothing short
Cons: Wouldn't let us on the flight when there was plenty of time to get there. Manager was arrogant and slow - didn't care. Poor policies at that airport.
Cons: Need display screens for entertainment.
Pros: Very comfortable
Pros: Crew was great, cabin was clean
Cons: Wi-Fi was very spotty.
Cons: Less announcements about masks we get it We don’t need instructions on hand washing Drink service needed
Pros: It was nice that middle seats were not filled.
Cons: It was silly that the flight attendant said we had to pull mask up between bites of food.
Pros: Comfy without the middle seats being filled! Good entertainment and inflight wifi!
Cons: So over gold fish and biscoff cookies! I know with Covid it really affected meal service but Delta’s meal service is pathetic!
Pros: Plenty of room and everything was on time!
Cons: I didn’t take the flight. Due to a change in my post-flight quarantine lodging arrangements in Salt Lake City, I needed to change the date of my flight. Delta directed me to Aeromexico to make any changes. Aeromexico refused to allow any changes. So I was forced to not take the flight and buy a new ticket for a later date.
Pros: Boarding was good
Cons: Plane smelled like urine
Cons: Slat Lake is not good for mobility challenged people.
Cons: Informing that the flight would delayed by three hours ahead of time would have been amazing. Instead of extending the delayed time every 45 min making us miss all the other opportunities to fly out
Pros: The sanitizing of the aircraft was beyond expectations. The personal wipes were a plus so we could clean the areas around our seats to our satisfaction. The individual snack bags are a great idea to minimize handling. The boarding rear to front should have been in place years ago and the deplaning was about normal front to rear with distancing.
Cons: 100% as always.. delta has never disappointed! Keep up the good work guys
Pros: I appreciate that Delta chooses customer safety over profit by not packing flights and continuing to social distance.
Pros: Had a great professional crew even the pilot walked through the plane to answer questions
Cons: Nothing delta returns to the top
Pros: crew was exceptionally kind and helpful. I felt they really cleaned up, sanitized, even participated sanitary clothes and hand sanitizer to everyone.
Cons: Nothing, perfect. better than expected.
Pros: We were very efficiently boarded, however there was a mechanical problem. The flight attendants helped every one know where their connecting gates were, as we have exactly 9 minutes to make that connection.
Cons: We were very efficiently boarded, however there was a mechanical problem. The flight attendants helped every one know where their connecting gates were, as we have exactly 9 minutes to make that connection. We would like to give a shout out to the baggage team that were able to transfer our bags in such a short amount of time. And also to the San Jose flight that we did for four of us.
Cons: everything, never flying with delta again
Pros: Crew was great very clean and comfortable plane
Cons: Food was very inapropriate for the hr
Cons: Better choices for food
Pros: Very courteous
Pros: The crew was amazing! The plane ride was smooth!
Cons: You should load the plane from back to front since everybody exits the plane from front to back. It is simple school bus rules
Pros: Great crew, comfy seats and efficient boarding!
Cons: I would ask that the gate does not share in detail reason for delay in seat assignment is related to getting a family sitting together when the basic rules should apply unilaterally.
Pros: The crew was good
Cons: The plane was extremely hot.
Cons: Ran 2 1/2 hours late, poor customer communication
Pros: Crew was great.
Cons: Couldn’t hear/understand the pilot
Cons: Flight was delayed, for unkown reasons.
Cons: A three hour delay on the first flight and a hour delay on the second...
Cons: Missed connecting flight because the first flight was delayed by 2.5 hours. I didn’t get the comfort seat I paid for because of this and was not given a refund for it.
Pros: Movies selection were good, snacks were pretty good
Cons: Why make someone pay for an upgraded seat that doesn’t recline? Terrible. Also delayed the flight by an hour, no explanation, and no idea if connections would be made or not. Had to run to my connection and they almost didn’t let me on. Smh
Pros: The flight & landing were smooth, and we arrived a few minutes early.
Cons: The entertainment system & WiFi were out. Wasn’t able to charge my phone either as the outlets weren’t functioning properly.
Pros: I got to fly where I needed to go.
Cons: The vents above my entire row of seats did not work, meaning there was never any air coming out even when they were fully open. This made for a long, hot, claustrophobic ride. The flight attendants seemed first disbelieving and later unconcerned that no air came out of our vents. I doubt they even reported them as broken after the flight. Delta's new boarding process is absolute chaos. More than half the plane had no seats assigned until 20 minutes before boarding, and the seats were displayed on a screen a good 25 feet away from the gate, meaning people had to constantly walk back and forth between the doorway and the screen. The gate agents were clearly overwhelmed. If this is how Delta is organized now, I won't be flying on them again.
Pros: The exit row seat on this leg out of PHL to SLC did recline! No need for Delta Comfort+ unless you want to get off of the plane ... faster.
Cons: For some reason, the pilot couldn't figure out how to adjust the cabin temperature for the first hour or so. This made the flight (and I was sitting in an exit row seat, right by the door which is usually cooler) uncomfortably hot and muggy. Food? No food. Thank goodness for Delta Lounge (even if it was the one in PHL). Just snacks make this a poor option for many. I don't know what is up, but the USB charger on the two monitors didn't work and neither did the outlet between the seats. And I have two different sets of cables "just in case" and they're the 3-in-1 so I can try to charge multiple devices (Apple, Android and Samsung) but nothing worked.
Pros: I really enjoyed the movie selection on my personal entertainment screen. The movies were New releases and there was a good selection. Staff was also very friendly and attentive.
Cons: The cookies on the return flight with Delta were nice, but the mini meal on the flight down with Aeromexico was even better!
Pros: Able to download boarding pass into apple wallet
Cons: Flight was almost an hour late departing, bag is a carry on but storage too small to keep bag, then wifi didn't work the entire flight. Had to run to our connection since our layover time was taken up in Boise. If we had missed the flight, we would have been re-routed to another airport over 1 1/2 hrs away since ours closes. Next flight was not much better, oh and wifi did I t work on it also - last 3-4 delta flights I've taken have been late and didn't have working wifi - starting to think their system doesn't work at all - seriously going to take any other carrier but Delta going forward
Pros: Flight wasn't full so the service was very good lots of food and snacks and we arrived early too
Cons: Music was a. Bit limited
Pros: Good Snacks, crew is friendly, toilet was clean and we arrived on time
Cons: Two overhead bins burst open during takeoff. it's pretty scared when luggage could potentially come flying at your face.
Pros: Delta does a good job of seating and meals and flight offerings
Cons: The crew were not customer oriented and seemed like they really weren't interested in their clients. Also we were bounced around between Air France and Delta at the ir port and when trying to check in online even though we booked through Delta.
Cons: Too much to write down. Start at the counter and work yourself to the plane. I hope you get it right eventually, I’ll be flying Southwest
Pros: Bast trips!!
Cons: Evriting is good!!!
Pros: On time, easy boarding. I have always thought they should load the back of the plane first, but I don't think that will ever happen!
Cons: We get it about the masks! Between the airport and the airline we hear it 100 times. Taking it down to 50 would be nice.
Pros: Seats were great! No snackage... #covid19
Pros: excellent service very happy with the crew
Cons: Better food
Cons: The plane was cold. The entertainment was mediocure. The staff was telling the people to get in their seats quickly as they had missed their scheduled time for take off. Yet, they 1st said we would board a little late because og clearing out the previous flight. And, no one could get carry-ons above their own seats and had to go back to then come forward. The attendants should monitor better what is brought onboard. I thought they were rude. And it took almost an hr to get our luggage at the carosel.
Cons: Be on time. Run planes that aren’t constantly breaking down.
Pros: Great crew and staff.
Cons: I didn’t notice that the aircraft didn’t have chargers so my phone died mid flight. I wish there were chargers on long flights.
Pros: Pilot was awesome. Beautiful landing. Got us there safely.
Cons: Flight was delayed several hours due to an issue with the plane. Didn't get to our destination until close to 2am.
Pros: The pilot’s landing was phenomenal.
Cons: Rude crew member who yelled at me from across the cabin. I had stopped at an empty row to sit and look out a window. She yelled at me to return to my seat.
Pros: Flying is not fun… The seats are too close together making it very difficult to stand up to enter or exit the aisle!
Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: Waited one hour and 50 minutes for my luggage. The ENTIRE flight had to wait 1 hour and 50 minutes for our bags to come in on the carousel. There were no apologies or explanations or compensation offered for our wait. Absolutely unacceptable.
Pros: Wonderful and on-time!
Pros: Comfortable seating and attentive service
Cons: Remote terminal which required walking stairs with carry-on bags, and two bus rides to reach the plane. No food other than packaged snacks in first class. No seatback video screen.
Pros: The speed with which phone AA Platinum customer service changed me to alternative flight
Cons: Flight delayed, no honest info put forth. Fortunately changed my flight to 1:37 pm flight, original flight left after 3 pm! Got stuck with middle seat.
Cons: Uncomfortable plane
Cons: Never made it to Chicago, rerouted through Washington DC.
Pros: Everything was on time
Pros: Non stop and an on time arrival after 20 min delay at phl when no gate agent could deplane previous flight. After being re-ticketed from overbooked united flight all in all not bad at all.
Cons: They happen from time to time,... from many unassigned seats causing long gate line where several butted to the front to random noises during the flight from passengers to 6 bathroom trip guy just weird all around. Plus the multiple gate changes by PHL which are to be expected. Just a regular PHL departure,...
Pros: No problems, friendly crew
Pros: Professional crew. Good landing.
Cons: Twice delayed because of delays in Newark connection. Need more room in coach.
Pros: Comfortable aircraft with an efficient and present crew.
Cons: First, passengers had to wait in the main terminal for a bus ride to a remote terminal to wait to board. The only food items offered in first class were unhealthful packaged snacks. On a flight such as this, at 8:12 am, something like a breakfast wrap would be more appropriate, especially considering the fare charged.
Pros: Nothing spectacular when sitting in economy.
Cons: Agent at lost baggage was less than desirable. His attempts to read my mind failed miserably.
Cons: Escape row seat in a non-escape row wasn’t too fun or comfy. Took half the flight to connect to the WiFi to watch movies to discover that the selection was limited and poor selections at that.
Pros: Crew On time Boarding
Cons: Seat space very tight and I’m not a very big person Seat ahead of me fully reclined left me even less space Seats are very uncomfortable Expected more for the cost of over $200 one way
Cons: I'm petite 5 ft 2. 120 pounds but felt Not enough leg room too cramped. Otherwise was good on time and good choices of movies and food
Pros: extremely friendly, smiling, and helpful service by the flight attendants, comfortable upgraded first class seat, timely arrival.
Cons: No food service other than snack/ junk food.
Cons: First of all, the announcements that come on after we take off and last for 20 minutes is very annoying. We have brains, we can figure out how to plug our head phones in to watch the inflight entertainment. After saying the “show” was going to start, it never did. The screens were down the whole time and it remained black. good thing I had my phone with a movie on it, or I would be very bored for the 3 1/2 hour flight. Never flying with American Airlines again.
Cons: An S80? Really? This plane was older than me! Horrible plane! The crew looked like they had been up since 4 am. Looked exhausted and unfriendly. I do want to clarify that this was an American Airlines operated plane, not etihad.
Pros: Flying beats driving
Cons: no entertainment or food.
Pros: The airplale MD 80 are old
Pros: The plane wasn't full so that was soo nice.
Cons: No TV's or outlets.
Cons: Seated next to two obese people and when combined with narrow seats made it all but impossible to sit comfortably on my seat. Flight was delayed on the tarmac for almost an hour due to missing part. When flight arrived in SLC, gate wasn't open (at nearly 1 AM) and had to wait on tarmac again for 10-15 minutes.
Pros: Flight was good, there was no entertaiment, so i put one, but the flight was only almost 4 hrs. At night.
Cons: I like the service I got and the service I got. I have back surgery and walk with assistance and the lady that helped me a the the birding desk took care of my needs and it was so much appriciated.. Thank you.
Pros: Biscotti, pilot, crew
Cons: Seating is so uncomfortable, unable to recline more than an inch or so, then everybody rushes around making you return to an upright position! What's the point?
Pros: Upgraded to business class
Cons: I've never been so cold on a flight in my life. Had two blankets on me and still shivered the whole flight. Others in the cabin were wearing coats and sweaters - in July. Crazy cold.
Pros: Was up to standard for everything. nothinf lacking, not exceptional
Pros: We flew out of Dallas on AA Eagle and what a great flight! Super roomy, great staff, newest aircraft. Loved it .. wish we could have flown all the way home to SLC on the Eagle!
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the turbulance coming into Amarillo (tornado warning!) but the AA Eagle handled it just fine .. so truly there are NO complaints .. Love this short flight between Dallas and Amarillo!
Pros: The FAs on this flight were nice, engaging and caring, the way they should be, so I was happy about that.
Cons: There was a teenager in front of me that was turning back every few seconds and made me nervous what she was looking back for. Then, there was an elderly woman sitting right next to me that kept pushing me every time she'd get out her tablet, pills, pocketbook, etc. By the end of the short 2-hour flight, I've had it with her.
Pros: Great selection of movies, comfortable flight overall.
Cons: Only one drink service for 5 hours, attendants not friendly or attentive, and it took an eternity--again with AA--for the bags to hit the carousel. Over 30 minutes' wait.
Pros: Laura was very helpful and so was the gate agent.
Pros: The site was easy to navigate
Cons: Delay but it happens
Pros: Everything was great could have done nothing to improve wonderful set
Cons: Everything was great magnificent service no complaints
