The Netherlands has restricted the entry of travelers arriving flights from outside of the EU, who are not nationals, residence permit holders, or long-stay visa holders of EEA Member States, Switzerland, or their families. Exemptions exist for some special cases, for example, travelers attending funerals or studying in an institution in the Netherlands. A complete list of exemptions can be found here.
From January 1, UK nationals are no longer classified as EU/EEA nationals and will not be allowed entry to the Netherlands. These restrictions do not apply to UK nationals who are legally resident in the Netherlands. Essential travel is still permitted. They will be allowed to re-enter the country, but will need to present residency permit, a certificate of application or a document with their address, and may be subject to questioning by Dutch border authorities when they arrive in the Netherlands.
The EU non-essential travel ban has also been lifted for residents of Australia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, Thailand and Uruguay.
The Dutch Government has a color-coded system of high-risk (orange) and lower risk (yellow) countries and regions. Travelers entering from high-risk (orange) regions or countries are required to self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival.

From December 15, travelers who arrive from a country that is not on the EU ‘safe countries of origin’ list and who are exempt from the EU travel ban applicable to the Netherlands will need to produce the following documents:
An official negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours and a rapid test no more than 4 hours prior to arrival. Children under the age of 13 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test result.
A completed and signed Negative Test Declaration.
In addition, to the existing requirements for travelers, travelers from Ireland, the UK or South Africa must also show a negative result from a rapid test (antigen or LAMP test) or PCR test. The test must have been conducted no more than 4 hours prior to boarding the flight. Children under the age of 13 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test result. The test requirements do not replace the requirement to self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival.
Travelers must be in possession of printed versions of both the negative test result and the declaration. It is not acceptable to show a digital version on a phone or tablet.

Shortly after take-off, our calm and comfortable more or less empty section of the aircraft was colonised by an extended family of Orthodox Jews in a kind of airborne West Bank situation. They weren’t in our section of the cabin at all to start with, and I don’t know why they were apparently able to get a free upgrade that I had to pay £100 for. We went from being in an almost empty cabin to being basically sat in the middle of an Orthodox Jewish kindergarten. It was awful! They were noisy, messy, were constantly getting in and out of their seats, the back of my seat kept getting kicked, and there was even a baby crawling around the aisle. We were surrounded. I have no idea whether this is characteristic of Orthodox Jewish family life, or just a completely inconsiderate family. They didn’t exactly ruin my flight, but they didn’t make it enjoyable either. I asked to be moved. The cabin crew were great and acknowledged the difficulty of the situation. My wife lost her window seat but at least we still had the legroom and peace and quiet."

Also, when we were getting our boarding pass in LAX it was so confusing when it asked for checked bags. Our bags were already on a belt going to who knows where - were we supposed to check "yes"? If we had a boarding pass this would not have been an issue."

Pros: "The big deal for me was that I was upgraded (at no cost) to Premium Economy class. I enjoyed the extra leg room and the ability to lie back (further than in regular economy class). The free drinks were also a plus."
Cons: "The only thing I can remark upon is that because someone in front of you can lie back so far, it becomes difficult for the person sitting in the window seat to leave his or her seat without disturbing the person in front of him or her."

She told me if i want a upgrade, witch I refuse to get and didn't help me in any way with the problem that i had. I think for cases like this even though it's an economy seat it still cost 750$ and for a 9h flight witch transformed in a 14h flight because weather condition and fueling problems, flight attendants should be more mindful with the guest confort rather than upselling. Lufthansa it's a geat company with great airplanes but i think that in order to get people to come back you should treat people in the economy class like normal people that pay a price nothing close to the word economy"

When we arrived at the airport and they printed boarding passes, the Lufthansa agent re-assigned seats without asking or telling me and gave us all middle seats. Very poor form. Food was either average or bad, depending on what was served. Boarding is unorganized, with people lining up over an hour prior to boarding and almost completely ignoring their boarding groups."

Put on same flight the follow day. Wait for it.... Delayed again (no weather). Would never have booked a flight with United in the first place due to similar issues in the past , but got duped when I booked this Luftansa flight and found out after the fact that it was operated by United. Never again, again."

I travel with a musical instrument and some airlines want to check it and some even insist on checking it, even though there is always plenty of room. This was a completely full flight and no one even mentioned the possibility of checking it; they put me in an early boarding line and put it in a closet. The way they handle this for myself and the other passenger with an instrument made our day, as well as making boarding smoother forbus and everyone else. Really excellent job on that!"

I understand, but you can't just bump me from a paid and selected seat to a standard seat, especially on transatlantic flight after paying $140 extra. There was no apology. She went back to gate and little while later came back with a comfort seat. Some people seem not to have shown up as the seat next to me stayed open as well. It was very poorly handled."

There was a DC power outlet at my seat (not all of the seats in the main cabin even have that) but guess what--it required a cigarette-lighter-style adapter to plug in. I certainly don't travel around with one of those! And most of the other seats in the main cabin had no access to power at all. My battery wouldn't possibly last through a 7-hour-plus flight without supplementary power. Oh well, fortunately there are still books and magazines. Just like old times. Be more like United or any other international airline, American!"

The system auto-rebooked many passengers on the flight on a 2 connections flight to arrive in Rotterdam for the following day. This was obviously not a suitable alternative. However after hours of waiting at the gate to get a better flight, an american airlines representative was able to rebook a flight to amsterdam via london that was still not until the following evening. I had to stay in philadelphia overnight and had to find a room on my own. The flight the next day went better however I still lost a day and a half of my trip. Unfortunalely for me, the issues did not end there. There was an issue in communication with british airways; american airlines never gave them the new flight details so british airways marked me as a no show for the Rotterdam flight and cancelled my return flight. By luck i called the day before my flight back to the US since i felt something was wrong. British airways representative was able to rebook me on a similar flight for the same day. Will most likely not use this airline again for international flights"

Our family of 5, including 2 children were placed each in a different location. The 2 men, average size, 5'9" were placed in window seats that required your head to be bent to the side because the wall curves over and the seat was so narrow. Everyone was hanging over each other's seat. There was no leg room. Everyone on the plane was upset and in disbelief that for 7 hours we would have to fly like that. Spending thousands of dollars, I did not expect this extremely closterphobic conditions. I would have paid extra for better seats. Not a happy customer."

Al three of them just did something. Rude and chewing gum crew, the dropped a salad bowl but not one of them was thinking about cleaning it up. The entire flight everybody walked over it in to the carpet. Friendlynes and service are two words that does not apply to this crew. From the first flight till the last flight AA made a mess out of it. Canceled our flight in JFK, no help or service, you are on your own when AA cancels a flight, after rebooking our flight we had a 7 hour stopover at Dallas, again no service, no voucher, no nothing. Then today with our return flight AA could not find our ticket numbers, turns out that when they rebooked our inbound flight they forgot to take over the return flight...cost us 2 hours and 10 minutes to check in at LGA Never, ever again with AA, even easyJet provides better service then AA does on intercontinental flight!"
