Cons: "When preparing to board, the two clerks at the gate were very rude. I had a carry-on suitcase, a laptop bag, and a small camera bag. They wouldn't let me board, claiming that my camera bag was a third item that I couldn't have. They then tried to force me to check the suitcase which i explained that I did not want to do, before giving me the chance to place the camera bag in the suitcase (which it fit just fine). They were not understanding or friendly and really made me question my decision of flying with American Airlines."

Cons: "Had a three hour wait for an aircraft. The wait was for a flight to come in form Ottawa. There seemed to be plenty of other aircraft sitting around O'Hara not being used. Also the deicing process can use some much needed review. Having to wait over an hour for a deice unit to come to the aircraft is just way inefficient and I would think more costly to the company. It is certainly irritating to your customers who have just spent three, maybe five or more hours in a crappy air terminal waiting to get the heck out and on their way home."

I was very disappointed with United. They should know ahead of time if the crew is not going to make the flight and cause a huge delay for everyone traveling."

Thanks to the affordable price I was able to visit my family for the holidays. After all the bad service I always experience from Spirit Arlines this was quite a change. I always travel withe spirit because I can afford the high prices from the other airlines and they stole my belonging s from my checked in bag on one occasion and the customer service is the worse ever. Thanks to Kayak I am able to afford traveling with other airlines."

She was walking around and I told her can you please stop walking around and help me ? At this point the to people that supposed to be helping were so lazy looking at each other . The lado had actitud me , very rude then on top of that they didn't give me my boarding ticket they forgot because they were too busy talking to each other about what I told the lady to stay to help me . I will never fly with this airline. Plus the crew that helps to load and unload the bag they just stand there , I'm with my baby in my hands and bags and they don't even ask can I help you"

Cons: "First of all, my connection flight was in a completely different concourse, which required me to go outside for a shuttle - mildly inconvenient. After boarding, we're informed that we have mechanical issues. The passengers' phones gave us more accurate and updated info than our captain. By the time he told us we'd be delayed an hour, we'd already gotten the text. We waited an hour for a second plane - at a gate that did not have nearly enough seats for one plane full of people, much less two. Very little apology for the delay. And no snacks served. This was a less-than-average experience."

Pros: "While a commuter plane is, by nature, smaller, United's fleet are well arranged to give you ample room if you're of average size to get comfortable. The seats are cushy and wide enough to relax without being too close to your seatmate if you're on the wide side of a three-wide craft. I was glad of once again having an excellent seatmate who was friendly and outgoing."

He didn't see my carry-on bag so I had to pay an extra $50 at the gate which should have been caught at the moment I checked in. I probably won't fly with Spirit Airlines again if not very often. Unless there's a lot of direct flights to Florida I don't see much reason why I would fly with them anymore."

Cons: "Spirit Airlines was a mess, we got told the wrong information to stand in a line that was too long, and we were not going to get through even though we were an hour before our flight. I went back to the lady, and once they called our flight at the 50 min mark and said that we need our bags checked now. The line agent again told me to go and wait in the line, only to wait and be told we missed our window which was what I was trying to tell the lady earlier. To add fuel to the fire, it seemed three of the people were arguing and then switched to Spanish when it got heated. Lucky, we were able to go out on Delta an hour later without issue and went well. I'll never fly Spirit again for it was a horrible experience and that's from someone who flies's various airlines and 160,000 miles a year! After many years of flying this is my first complaint. However, I would warn others to spend the extra few dollars to go with another airline when traveling."

Cons: "I didn't like the three children that were behind myself my mom and my 2 year old son. They inter flight was packed with child's due to spring break getting back. But it would have been nice to at least have an adult with them to stop there constant kicking of the seats. They were very loud and noisy and at one point woke my 2 year old up from his sleep and I just wasn't impressed with no one saying anything including the airline staff."

Cons: "On arrival at the airport, help was needed to get the boarding pass but there was no one at the ticket counter to help. For that reason, Joe missed the flight. When the representative did get to the counter, she was of no help in helping him get to his destination. He was marked as a "No Show" and his reservation was cancelled. Joe was told his return flight was confirmed. He was able to make arrangements with another airline after spending another $300 to get to Orlando. However, when he confirmed his flight home, he was told it was canceled because he "no showed!" He talked with people in Orlando and I called the phone number on the email received from Spirit after he missed the flight. I spoke with 3 different people who only wanted to tell me their policy. I needed help in getting Joe back to Akron, Oh. They could only tell me that we would have to make a new reservation and pay even more money for him to get home. They did not honor the money that had already been paid to them. They did not help us at all. They could only quote their policy, which was a moot point by that time!!!"

Cons: "Don't like all the extra fees, carry on, picking seats, no free drinks or peanuts, seat spacing was a tad small."

Cons: "I was very surprised to learn that I would be charged $45 dollars for my carry on, both ways! This hidden cost would have impacted my decision when choosing a flight. In addition, I didn't purchase a seat another $25. I found it interesting that I was unable to print a boarding pass. I called customer service and was told that they can't print a boarding pass for me, but would report the issue to IT. I can't help but wonder if they were holding back my pass, hoping someone would purchase a ticket. There was no entertainment. Passengers in my area were over served, and were loud and using profane language to the point that departing passenger, several rows ahead, made a point to turn around and see who was responsible for the commotion. I will never fly Spirit again."

Pros: "Our flights left on time and arrived either on schedule or early. Our luggage got there with us both times. Boarding was simple and quick. Good Job!"
Cons: "Our departure date was screwed up. I don't know how. Anyway, to change it to the correct date (even more than a week in advance) they socked us with a $500 change fee. And dealing with their customer service was a nightmare. I will think long and hard before EVER flying Spirit or using Kayak again!"

Cons: "It was a rollarcoaster of an experience! The communication was awful, from the crew to the passengers and even amongst themselves. We were lied to (for the sake of peace) and told many different things, from slight delay, to big delay, to leaving now, to cancelled, to can't fit everyone on our flights tomorrow and there are no hotels, to we may rebook this flight for tomorrow, to we are reimbursing, to we figured everything out, let's go now. We had to be rechecked in, new tickets issued, then sat on the plane for an hour as baggage had been taken off the plane, taken out of the security area to the other side of the airport-lastly, we were told luggage would come the day after, then after landing we were told we wouldn't get our luggage for two more days. It was incredible how poorly everything was handled. Aside from that, we know it is a discount airline, no frills. But the seats not being able to tip back had a HUGE impact on those of us flying for the first time. For late night or long flights, Spirit isn't ideal for comfort and ability to sleep. Otherwise, everything was fine :) Honestly, I won't fly Spirit again if I can help it. Granted I don't know if the crew member was sick, got in a fight or had some other sort of delinquecy, but wow... the lack of viable options and the announcements being made, changing of plans, etc. was unlike anything any other airline would tolerate."

When I went to check in online, there was no itinerary to be found. I called, and they said since I was a "no show", it was cancelled and I could not be reimbursed. I offered to use it as credit and get a new flight, paying the difference. This request was declined. The agents on the phone were very rude. Spirit nickel and dimes you, has no available seats, doesn't feed you, and the planes are small. I will never attempt to take this airline again."

Pros: "Compared to Frontier I liked the smooth moving lines for bag check ins, and a ground person helping folks backed up on flights that were boarding and in a panic. The flight crew was nice."

Cons: "I paid extra for the extended seat which was great and also due to the fact that I had the row to myself. I have sat in regular seats and they are VERY VERY short and uncomfortable"

Pros: "The crew was helpful and very nice at all times. The plane was clean and relatively new. Price was great, considering that I paid $96 for two passengers total, with taxes."
Cons: "Some of the passenger's attitude was not the right one. The prices for check bags, was a little inthehigh side."

Pros: "Crew was very entertaining - a la Southwest Airlines but funnier. One of the crew noted that I had taken out my medication and immediately brought me water."
Cons: "Seats don't recline so there is zero relief/change in body position - making a short trip much longer. Suffered leg cramps. Short trip so luggage was not an issue but in the past I have been literally tapped out by the "additional fees" on baggage over 40(??)lbs."
