The two flight attendants were pleasant. At least there was that after this nightmare.

Spirit was so incredibly disorganized that we almost missed our flight. The line for bag drop was the same to talk to an agent. It was out the door and down the street! No one could give us any information - they just said to join the back of the line. This is a pitiful excuse for an airline with disorganized lines and no communication. Plus the desk person was so Rude and charged an arm and a leg for us going over the weight restriction. She was hateful, and wouldn’t even cut us the slightest break after we waited 2 hours. Never flying this horrible airine again. You end up being more expensive than the more expensive airlines! What a waste.

My flight was first delayed, then had mechanical issues and when they finally got those resolved pulled away from the gates but pulled right back to the gate and were told to deplane as there was another mechanical problem. After waiting 45 minutes for another plane they cancelled the flight and sent us home with a voucher for food for the airport restaurant which was not open and a voucher for a cab ride home but not for the return to the airport. We were required to stand in line 45 minutes to rebook our flight and to get the vouchers. I tried to rebook on the phone but the customer services rep said since I boarded the plane I was not allowed to rebook over the phone.

Checkin was a mess. The attendants at the counter were hustling to get the people in their flights but that meant that those of us who were on time almost missed our flights after being switched from lines and having a bunch (some 25+) people skipping the line before us.

After waiting 45 minutes for another plane they cancelled the flight and sent us home with a voucher for food for the airport restaurant which was not open and a voucher for a cab ride home but not for the return to the airport. We were required to stand in line 45 minutes to rebook our flight and to get the vouchers. I tried to rebook on the phone but the customer services rep said since I boarded the plane I was not allowed to rebook over the phone.

No one could give us any information - they just said to join the back of the line. This is a pitiful excuse for an airline with disorganized lines and no communication. Plus the desk person was so Rude and charged an arm and a leg for us going over the weight restriction. She was hateful, and wouldn’t even cut us the slightest break after we waited 2 hours. Never flying this horrible airine again. You end up being more expensive than the more expensive airlines! What a waste.

We had a horrible experience. The Spirit staff had no hospitality, nor customer service skills. On one occasion, they stated, “This is Spirit, what do you expect?” I would NEVER fly or recommend anyone to fly with them.

They charged more for the bags than the tickets costs. We were not informed that there was so many luggage costs and they said it’s on the website. I advised we booked through Kayak, and they said “well Kayak buys the tickets from us and they should tell you so you just have to pay and take it up with them” we paid almost $300 in luggage fees alone!!

After waiting 45 minutes for another plane they cancelled the flight and sent us home with a voucher for food for the airport restaurant which was not open and a voucher for a cab ride home but not for the return to the airport. We were required to stand in line 45 minutes to rebook our flight and to get the vouchers. I tried to rebook on the phone but the customer services rep said since I boarded the plane I was not allowed to rebook over the phone.

I had a bad experience which I had not had in my life. First of all this airline delayed in Phoenix to Dallas about one and half hour, which I accepted cause one of my agent called me before. I missed my connection at Dallas to Fort Launderdale, I stayed at the airport for 12 hours. On my way back to Phoenix they did the same thing. I went to customer service at Fort Launderdale airport to complain about it nobody cared. imagine you delayed your customer for two times and you don't want hear her/his concern?

Flight Crews are nice. I can't complain about it.

The two flight attendants were pleasant. At least there was that after this nightmare.

Spirit was so incredibly disorganized that we almost missed our flight. The line for bag drop was the same to talk to an agent. It was out the door and down the street! No one could give us any information - they just said to join the back of the line. This is a pitiful excuse for an airline with disorganized lines and no communication.
