Constant trying to sell me something. $140 for 2- 50lb bags. Nasty agent at first desk I went to. A part was stolen or lost out of my camera case and I was suspicious as the agent set the case aside and put my other case on the belt and then took my camera case in the back room. The part thought only worth about $10 was crucial to the job I was flying to do, and not available on a Sunday, so we had to move the shoot to Monday. Bottom Line I would rather walk to a distinction than to ever get on a Spirit flight again. My apologies as I have never written such words about a company but sometimes the truth needs to be known. Based on the consensus of people I have talked to, No one will fly Spirit unless there is no other choice.
I would never use this airline again, sit is uncomfortable, airplane smells, and they charged me for a hot water. You can print or pay for a bag online too complicated. I still don't understand why I am paying for a carry-on bag, after all this extra charges it was not even cheap to fly Spirit. Horrible experience!
I was flying back upset due to a family emergency and also traveling with a pet. There were empty seats on the plane so the attendant moved me to an empty row and it made an expected horrible flight, MUCH more tolerable. I truly appreciate it!
I would like the 24 hour change policy to be extended. Especially if your flight is the same day and haven't checked in.
Charges for EVERYTHING.
I'd rather pull out my credit card once to cover my ticket, bag, and onboard beverage, but instead, I get duped with 'cheap' tickets, which ends up costing me roughly $40 each way for a bag and a water. No reclining seats. My knees hit the back of the chair in front of me (I'm only 5'7"-- that is absurd). The plane is old and frightening during turbulence. Overall, I paid more than I would have for a reliable and comfortable airline like AA or JetBlue... Total waste. As a red eye flight, this should be outlawed. No comfort was had. Never flying with Spirit again.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us, please send us an
and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
The fares displayed in KAYAK ads found on other sites include all taxes and fees for economy class travel and were found
by KAYAK users in the last 72 hours. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and days.
Fares are subject to change and may not be available on all flights or dates of travel. Some carriers charge
additional fees for extra checked bags. Please check the carriers' sites.
Hacker Fares sell tickets to/from a destination via different airlines and are subject to the booking
requirements and terms of each. Any changes made to one of your tickets will not necessarily afford
rights to change the other ticket. Fares change frequently and are subject to availability.
