Wheelchair assistance was horrible in Detroit. When told, after check-in, to go to the access area, we were informed we were third in line. The 2 in front had been waiting over half an hour. We thought there would miss our flight if we waited. So that did not happen. On return, there was absolutely no assistance, or of its prospects whatsoever. If you need special assistance, forget Delta. .

Check in person played on her phone and didn’t even look at you when asking what seat was I assigned . Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

Cons: "Upon deplaning in Cancun, ALL passengers are put on a bus and driven far away from the terminals to an arrivals area. Those of us with connecting flights are royally f*cked at that point, especially if your connection is short, as mine was. The so-called shuttle to the departure terminals, which are entire kilometers away, was to arrive in like half an hour. HALF AN HOUR. Who has this time to spare?? The alternative to the shuttle is paying a taxi that charges a hefty fare--and God help you if you don't have cash. The departures terminal was swamped and only thru begging assistance and line cuts did I make my connection...and then only by the skin of my teeth. It was a complete nightmare."

The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"

Cons: "I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

When we finally boarded at 5 we got peanuts in first class. That was worth the mileage upgrade. Upon landing there was a 1/2 wait on the tarmac to get a gate. That same plane, upon taking off back to DTW blew a tire upon take-off, had to do an emergency landing and everyone had to spend the night in NOLA after being delayed all day."
Cons: "I was on the way to the airport when I was notified of the 1st delay. I am sure Delta knew there were issues already and should have let me know earlier in the day. The delays kept increasing. We were offered snacks at the gate. That is it. No free drinks on the plane, no free premium movies. Very bad customer service. More explanations were needed as to the cause of the delay."

Delta has a new policy that these tickets are not allowed to have certain privileges that tickets purchased on their own site have. Unbeknown to us, one of these is the ability to select your seat. On the ride from CVG to FLL we were assigned seats in the back of the plane, but at least we were next to each other. On the way back, we were not assigned a seat at all. We arrived to the airport almost 4 hours before the flight and were still not assigned a seat and were told we would have to speak to the gate agent. Even we when spoke to the gate agent, they still did not have a seat. It was not until we had already started the boarding process that they called us up and told us that we were going to be sitting 5 rows apart, both in a middle seat."

Happened to somebody else also . Came back to counter and see the possibility to get on next plane at 2:50 and say is no chance . So I have to go by bus now . Very disappointing."

Why is that even a thing, selling tickets and the change of not getting on. If we didn’t get on the plane what are you going to push me on to the next flight and bump someone off that flight? For how small the plane was and how old it was and for the lack of accommodations in the distance of the trip my ticket was a bit too expensive at $345 round trip."

Cons: "i would not fly again if possible. My trip consisted of 3 flights, starting in Fort. Lauderdalento to Orlando, Orlando to Denver, and Dever to Aspen. However, The first flight operated by Silver (a partner of United) was delayed due to "maintenance". Due to this delay, we missed our connecting flights and had to get new flights, causing us to have an over night layover in Chicago and then arriving in Aspen Sunday, the next day of our original arrival day. I just want to add that I saw on the departure board that Silver had maybe 16 flights that morning/ afternoon and maybe 7-8 of those flights, including mine, were delay or canceled. Not to mention they never updated their board to reflect our flight was delayed. The only good comment I have was that the Silver attendent who helped us get a new flight was very helpful."

Cons: "Was talked down to as if I am stupid. I read the policy before booking my flight and purposely chose this carrier since it was half the price and its only an hour flight. However the stewardess changed the baggage policy that's clearly stated online forcing me to check my properly sized carry on. Then followed me to my seat and was told my personal item (backpack) also needed to be checked. Next time I will fly Southwest or JetBlue or just wake up earlier and drive. Not worth being late to my surgery in Tampa due to baggage policy for crying out loud."

My flight was supposed to arrive at my destination at 3:47pm, yet we didn't board the plane that was supposed to leave at 2:25 until 4:20, despite no weather delays or issues with the plane. The only explanation was the plane was "scheduled" to land at 3:47. Even better they only announced this change 5 minutes before our departure time, and we're very unapologetic about it, as though it's commonplace and completely acceptable. Don't fly Silver Airways, and be careful booking with United, as they will place you in one of these companies. it amazed me at how in the 4 hours I was there, I counted 3 flights that were delayed besides mine. Just horrendous all around."

Pros: "not a thing my flight from Ecuador was delayed and I missed my Silver connection after waiting in line for an hour they refused to help me get on another flight. The person at the ticket counter didn't care about me at all. I was just a number. They said JetBlue had to call them for me to get on another flight Jetblue wouldn't do this because It wasn't on my Itinerary. All Silver had to do was check the Jetblue status and they would of seen I was over an hour late into Ft. Lauderdale. However the ticket person refused."

JetBlue said they could have just called them but them made us run around, literally. In the end the first flight was delayed and we could easily have made it as when we got to security we were the only people there. Took less then 5 minutes to get from check-in to terminal. Ridiculous amount of stress and run around for no reason. Don't expect good service from these guys in FTT!"

Cons: "Flying home from the Denver Airport (frontier's headquarters) was the ABSOLUTE WORST TRAVELING EXPERIENCE EVER. The Frontier Rep at check-in *Martha, female rep at the Denver Terminal* was incredibly rude, demeaning, and insulting to me. Although I had already checked in online before arriving to the airport, already paid for my checked bag and seat reservation ahead of time, she refused to take my checked bag as it was 3 min past the deadline. As I explained, I already checked in and prepaid, she rolled her eyes at me and said that "because you are trying to check in late you crashed my computer", muttered degrading words under her breath (that I could still hear) as we walked to another computer. I asked to be rescheduled for a later flight, or even send my checked bag out on a later flight, or even mail my checked bag via ups or usps; your Frontier rep told me "your bag is not my problem". She then said the only way to get home was "tomorrow or the day after that". I fully understand the 45 minute deadline. I accept that I missed that cut-off by 3 minutes. I do not understand how a paying customer could be treated so horribly, so disrespectfully. I have tried to get my money back for the checked bag fee and the seat reservation fee, since I never even was allowed to get on the flight; however, frontier repeatedly tells me they are unable to do this. I have never been treated this way and I will never fly Frontier again. I will warn any friends, family, or colleagues of my terrible experience and encourage them to NEVER FLY ON FRONTIER EVER."

I still don't know where my bag is. The plane was supposed to land at 12:45, and I left the airport at 3:30 and missed an important work meeting."

When the plane landed at 8:15, the slowness of the workers couldn't have been any worse. Loading the bags slow, cleaning the plane slow. Plane gets here at 8:15 and we don't take off until 9:30. You'd think we would get some type of snack or drink for this horrible wait time right? Water is free on frontier, but nothing else. And they stuck with that. NOTHING FREE! Not even a soda or bag of chips! My friend is 6 foot 4 and I'm not sure how they get away with the nonexistent leg room. His knees were smashed against the chair in front of him the entire time. Funny for me, sucked for him (or anyone tall). He asked to change seats to 1 of the 2 open seats we had seen with more leg room (near the side emergency exit). They said no unless he wants to pay $50 right there. In the middle of the flight. I have no words for it. Customer service was horrible, food was nonexistent, drinks were nonexistent, leg room was nonexistent. And that sums up how I'll never be using frontier ever again. Pay $50 more for a better plane service seriously."

HOWEVER on our return flight Feb 28, we told at the New Orleans Frontier desk there would be an extra charge for the exact carry on luggage we had checked in at Denver fours days before. The extra charge was $40.00 for checking or $45.00 if we carried on our luggage. We explained there was no charge for our carry on's in Denver. That didn't help. SO what choice did we have? We didn't make a scene or issue about this extra charge. We merely paid the extra charge and grumbled on the flight home. You can probably guess about our change in attitude -- from a pleasant flight experience to New Orleans to maybe our next flight will not be on Frontier rather another carrier."
