This resulted in me and my bag getting pushed on two new flights and my overall travel time going from 4.5 hrs to 11 hrs which with a 15 month old is an eternity. Many other airlines will allow you to make exceptions when checking in late (I was still nearly 40 minutes prior to flight departure) and let me still check a bag OR allow me and my baby to stay on the same flight without the bag."

After the front desk continuously trying to explain to me how it was my fault some how, I HAD TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TICKET ON A DIFFERENT AIRLINE OUT OF MIA AT 5AM TO MAKE THE WEDDING!!!! This is beyond unacceptable and as someone that travels for work and stays roughly 100 nights a year in hotels, I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOUR COMPANY TO BE ABLE TO PUT ME IN THIS SITUATION AGAIN!!!!"

Cons: "American Airlines cancelled a flight because of ‘weather’ from Msy to dfw, all other flights from Msy to Dallas operated on time but were sold out. We were re booked flying through San Francisco, missing out on flying on qantas, which is what I had paid for since they are a premium airline. We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 2 hours, then moved to the next morning at 6am. Before we got to the hotel, the flight was pushed back to 8am. All for mechanical reasons. We've flown this route before, and have had an abnormally high number of mechanical issues. They seem to use older planes for these shorter flights, and it really shows. Technology could really help ease these situations. American's app does not allow you to look at rebooking options, so we had to stand in line for a solid 30 minutes to speak to an agent. Since it was the last flight of the night, there were only 3 agents there to help an entire plane's worth of people. Calling American didn't help. They couldn't help with hotel/food vouchers. These types of vouchers seem like something else that could be distributed through the app or electronically, eliminating the need to stand in line and grow increasingly frustrated. To add to the fun, the vouchers were not event enough to get a hot dog and drink for dinner, then a coffee and pastry for breakfast. Once we got the vouchers, trying to get to the hotel was a disaster. They had 1 van, so they could get about 10 people every 30 minutes. We just took and Uber, and were eating in the restaurant by the time others were still arriving from the shuttle. There was no one from American there to help coordinate with the hotel or shuttle. We were like blind sheep wandering around looking for the van. Finally, arrive for the flight the next day, and they start boarding about 10 minutes before the 8am takeoff time. So, of course, we were late getting off the ground. Then, when we arrived in Dallas, our gate was occupied by another plane, so we got to sit on an old plane for an extra 30 minutes until another gate opened up for us. Really, other than crashing, not much else could have gone wrong. Made American look completely incompetent...which is happening more the more we use them. Next time, I'll pay a higher fare to fly with Southwest."

Cons: "I realize that the airline doesn't have much control over screaming babies, but the reality is, my flight experience was significantly worse because of one, a couple rows back, who kept screaming at the top of their voice for most of the flight. While everyone was seating themselves, my fellow rowmates asked me to exchange my window seat for an aisle seat, so that grandmother, mother, and daughter could sit together. That put me two rows closer to that screaming baby. I came prepared to watch a movie with my phone and new noise canceling headphones, and then discovered the United Wi-Fi didn't offer movies on that flight, the same aircraft type and route as when I was able to watch a movie that way, earlier this year. I didn't find a way to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the plane's entertainment system, and I'm also disappointed in myself, to have to say, it took me far too long, to figure out that I needed to interact with the screen in front of me, through the control pad under my elbow on the armrest. By that time, there wasn't enough time left in the flight, to start a movie. So, I just played music stored on my phone, which helped mask the baby screams."

The owner of the dog in front of me keep insisting the dog was hypoallergenic. What matters is my reaction or the person who is allergic reaction to the dog's dander even if they claim it's a hypoallergenic dog. Once I had a severe reaction on a United flight and the cat was no where near me, but the air is circulating so I has to take benadryl. There should be some consideration for people who have health concerns without making the customer feel like we are a problem."

Cons: "We arrived 1 hour early to a line for checking bags that did not move for nearly 1 hour. There were staff behind the desk that were standing around on their phones and meanwhile there were lines longer than I have ever seen just waiting to be helped. The fact that check in etc was all in one place at the MSY is baffling. I paid ahead of time to check my bags but still had to wait in line behind people who had not even checked in for flights that appeared to be stopping in at least two destinations. Once we finally got to the counter, the staff member informed us that they were re-routing our trip. No apology was offered. When I conferred with my travel companion about the best option to re-route, the employee said "Sir I am speaking to you. Not that man." I tried to explain that this man was my travel companion who I needed to travel with because we were in-fact going to the same destination and had planned additional transportation together and that I needed to know if there was room for two people on this flight so that we could proceed onto our route together. After being interrogated about why my companion was not on my reservation, the employee told us that 12 people would not make the flight we were supposed to be on. She then took our bags (we have now been in line to check bags for almost 1.5 hours). Fast-forward to the return flight. We are supposed to depart at 7:15, but were delayed to 8pm, then 8:30, then back to 8pm, then to 8:25, then 8:40, then 9pm between the times of 11am and 8pm. Our trip to the airport that included two trains was significantly more stressful as these projected times were changed because we went from being on time to late to on time all within the span of an hour. The employees on the return flight were helpful in making up for the numerous delays but the confusion that seemed to hover over the company made me feel like nobody cared about whether we reached our destination."

Unfortunately, the Silver Airways representative rudely told me that the airlines had close the doors 15 minutes prior to departure. In other words, I arrived 4 mins after they had closed the doors, and insisted on NOT letting me in. The representative treated me poorly, and was not helpful at that moment."

Pros: "The kind, saint of a Silver Airways gate worker who spent quite literally 3 full hours dealing with the botched planning of United and Silver Airways. After being turned away multiple times and waiting on hold for what seemed like an eternity she finally was able to get me rescheduled for a flight on American Airlines the following Morning."
Cons: "Weather was terrible in Florida, so as expected there were some delays. Sitting in Key West airport I watched Delta and American Airlines depart flight after flight while we, the suckers who booked through United and Silver Airways, sat for 5 hours. The gate worker in Key West and two United Airlines call center workers were completely useless in helping me reschedule the flights that I was going to miss (even with a 5 hour layover at my next stop). The airline blames the entire thing on weather, yet no other airlines were suffering from 5+ hour delays. It's my opinion that early on in the day Silver Airways mismanaged the movement of their aircraft which exacerbated the delays experience by thousands of passengers."

Cons: "Flight attendant grabbed my shoulder bag (small tote type) from me and shoved it into an overhead compartment while I was trying to find bandages in it to replace the dressing on a wound on my hand from a swimming accident. She insisted that this small bag, which I had retrieved from under the seat when I saw the condition of my hand, was too big to fit there. She was a large woman with very short bleached hair. No name. . . . I had to try to avoid further injury while de-planing and handling luggage and wasn't able to replace the bandage until I reached the arrivals area, after Immigration & Customs at Ft. Lauderdale. For any level of service Silver fares are ridiculously expensive, working out at almost $1.00/ mile flown for this journey - comparable to a $4400 economy fare from FLL to London!"

Late departure is normal for them because their schedule seems to be totally unrealistic and their incoming flights are always late arriving, hence delaying the onward flight. the baggage handling was a joke. On the one hand you could say they were very quick in delivering the checked bags to the carousel but on the other hand they were totally incompetent because the moment the bags arrive they apparently cart them off to their office and lock them up while their employees go off to do other things. In the time it took us to walk from the gate to baggage claim our baggage had been carted off to the office and we had to wait over an hour for the next Silver arrival to find an employee who could open the office and deliver our bags. Additionally there was never any information about the flight on the screens in arrivals and we had to ask a lady at the FLL information desk for help."

Cons: "I didn’t like the fact that frontier entices you with low airfare and then screws you over with baggage fees and seat charges. By the time you pay all their fees, your ticket ends up costing the same or a little more than other carriers that already have these fees accounted for. I also didn’t like the fact that this woman supervisor threw her gate agents under the bus and then when confronted about it she denied it in front of 50 people and denied any wrong doing. What a horrible human being let alone a supervisor of people. Not sure what her name was but she works at frontier airlines in New Orleans Airport. The third thing is that Frontier goes very cheap on their airplanes. We had a brand new plane but the seats were hard and they didn’t recline. Tray tables were tiny and no WiFi. Who the hell doesn’t do WiFi ? Cheap airlines that’s who."

Also, I had a terrible time checking in and when I purchased my seats, the price went up $10 a seat. I will fly Frontier OJNLY when I HAVE to. I will NEVER make it my first choice."

She was unwilling to provide any proactive assistance. In fact she offered us an alternative flight that was scheduled to depart AFTER our scheduled returning flight. Contrasting this with our experience speaking to a Southwest airline representative who was courteous and knowledgeable was unbelievable. I will never fly Frontier again."

Unfortunately, to stay competitive in the industry, Frontier has become a "No Frills" airline. If you plan ahead with your luggage and snacks, they provide very affordable transportation."

Cons: "Showed up to the airport in New Orleans to find out my flight was canceled, but had to be told by people from another airline because the Frontier desk was vacant. Received no email, phone call, text or anything to tell me the flight was canceled. Not even one Frontier employee was at the airport to explain the situation. They just left a stack of papers to say the flight was canceled and they weren't offering anymore flights that day. Had to book one on another airline for the next day, so called Frontier to get reimbursed (they said very clearly on the paper that they would reimburse up to $400 in another airline) and spent over two hours on the phone getting passed around from person to person who said they couldn't help me. Still no idea if I'll be getting reimbursed. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE."

Cons: "There was a lady sitting next to me with a small dog that was not in a kennel and it tried to bite not only one of the flight attendants, but me as well. The man who almost got bit told the woman that dogs should be in kennels during flights and she said "oh I don't know he's never done this before." Well awesome for you but I've never been bit by a dog on an airplane before either. The guy let it slide and moved on. The tray tables are a joke. They ONLY offer complimentary WATER. No leg room. Would not recommend."
Cons: "Waited in 1 degree weather this morning for 1 hour to check my bag to New Orleans to find out delayed 3 hours, gate changed 4x, then waited another hour for plane to deboard and "security check," only to be told flight was cancelled and to "see customer service." Waited in line for two hours with four other flights with no information other than word of mouth "if we don't wait in line can't guarantee refund." Found out there are no other flights to Nola until Tuesday. Got refund by phone booked new flight for Monday morning on Southwest. Total time at airport today: 9 hours. Saddest part: people are trying to get home for Christmas. Moral of the story: don't be like Frontier airlines. Be prepared."

Plus they hit you with hidden charges left and right. The seats don't recline and the flight attendants are not available to help because they're so busy. Never again!"

I also did not like that you get a surprise bill to pay for your seats and check in bags (which are normally free) 24 hours before the flight. No point in having lower prices tickets if I have to pay an additional $80 before I can board. Very disappointing I do not want to fly Frontier anymore."
Cons: "1. They charge for every little thing. Each checked bag is $25.00 and each carry on is $35.00. They also charge you for a seat. So once you purchase your ticket, you then have to pay an additional fee to seat down. 2. The staff is unprofessional. Not only does everyone look sloppy, but the staff is comprised of individuals that don't care at all about customers and have been poorly trained. The quality is very low. 3. I was hit and then verbally abused by a gentlemen on the plane, they laughed and did nothing!!!!! 4. They only allow 15 bags on their plane! After 15, they will move your bags to a different plane without telling you. What kind of nonsense is that?!"
Cons: "I really don't like Airlines that nickle& dime the consumer and Frontier is one of these airlines. A good fare to start, but then you spend more at the end. In this case, I spend $108 + tax and fees more than if I would had gone with the competition. Life and learn. First time flying with Frontier and I will not say it would be the last, but this airlines had been but to the end of my list of choices for airlines."

She was pissy when I asked for gin, because she had to go look for it. She was agrivated when I asked if I had to buy the mixer separate, as it was my very first time on frontier. They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier.
