TAP Airlines did not fly this route for day and probably hired NEOS Airlines to fly as charter or contract this route only? NEOS Airlines is an Italian airline probably comparable to Southwest Airlines in the USA. It's a cattle car airline with no frills. Crew was very professional, food was actually good. A sandwich that was of course Italian ingredients. Seats were comfortable for the 3 hour flight.

Checking in and paying a $49 excesses baggage fee for I was better off paying a full fare. Discount fare, what a joke!Than finding out that TAP put me on standby status?? But I eventually got a seat. It was no relief thinking I would be left behind and my plans elude be delayed.TAP airlines had only worked the front desk check in, gate check in and don't know about the ramp service. So I can't give a full positive review of TAP Airlines

Had to check 2 of our luggages, and it cost $95 per piece. Never flown an airline where I had to pay more than $50 per piece. Also carryon has to be less than 8 kg. Our small luggage that we had to check never had any problems with any other airlines about being a carryon but since it was over 8 kg, it had to be checked. Took a 7.5 hour flight and the entertainment screen was not working for anyone, as the system was broken. Will not be flying with airline ever again.

Who assigns the seats? A monkey? Half my party was seated away from me (including my 5 year old daughter); we were put in an exit row and then moved. Everyone around us was sitting apart from their traveling companions so that we talked over each other. The whole thing was absurd.

I began asking for my wheelchair escort the minute I got off the plane. I was assured in Houston they would be there when I got to Detroit. They were not. The request was clearly spelled out on my boarding pass along with my personal oxygen equipment information. I kept asking different staff and they would call for me then say somebody would be there. I waited for an entire hour and only when I started to cry did somebody do something. It was terribly stressful.

I was ticketed on AirFrance/Delta, but I guess they are a part of Skyteam and the plane was Air Europa Old decrepit aircraft, that had years of accumulated dirt between seats and such No personal TV screens Food was as bad as it gets for the snack, though the main meal was as they all are except more frugal. Headphones were available for 3 euros- never had that occur on an international flight. I will always ask if my ticket includes Air Europa as an operator and avoid them if that is the case

On the first leg of my trip, the time shown on the boarding pass was the time I needed to be at the gate. For this leg of the trip, the time on the boarding pass was the time the plane left. I arrived at the gate at the time the boarding pass said and the plane had already left. I am traveling to my father's funeral and the only option I had was to rebook for an additional cost of $600. Extremely upset.

The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair.

The flight from Miami to Paris was very satisfying. The crew was very polite, checking in at the MIAMI airport was quick and efficient. However coming from Paris was a nightmare; the crew was rude, no blanket was provided like the other flight; the crew picked few friends to serve first and gave everyone else crapy, spoiled pasta dish. When ask to buy food that they advertise; they said there's none left few seconds later their French friends comes out eating the exact food you asked

Don't know what to expect if you get lucky and have nice crew the flight could be pleasant; it could also be really bad when meeting these stuck up rude people

The crew were very nice and didn't seem to mind that we didn't speak French.

I attempted to check in on line the day before and the morning of my flight but was unable to do so. Although XL invites you to pick your seat assignment, when you attempt to do so they state that your seats will be assigned at check in. The seats were very tight. My husband is 6'2" and 230 lbs. He was wedged in for the 9 1/2 HR flight (hips touching both sides of seats). Although I am 130 lbs it was also v difficult for me to be in the center seat between my husband and another male passenger. Much as the poor man tried not to get into my space, we were touching arms the whole way! No individual TVs so unable to watch movies (overhead cabin TVs played French films). No food choice-pasta served which was fair if you're hungry. Snack of barely edible sandwich served prior to landing. Drinks available for purchase. Despite all my issues with this airline, the French crew were very pleasant, smiling and helpful.

The flight attendant crew were all very friendly and so good at giving out drinks and water and whatever we needed. I felt really pampered and I wasn’t even in first class. Brussels airlines literally saved my whole trip back from becoming a nightmare because I had a really short connection time in the Brussels airport. I was sprinting to the gate to make my flight and was running real late and they had waited for me! The staff at the gate and at the passport control all were very helpful. I was very impressed by everybody involved and so appreciated that I could make it home as planned instead of having to find a new flight.

Not much. Flight was pleasant and smooth.

They called us for boarding before anyone was at the gate and we all had to wait on a stairwell until they opened. It made no sense and seemed dangerous to have so many people waiting on the stairs. Nothing was served on an hour flight, not even water unless you paid for it. Never encountered that before on any other airlines.

Food was great , including ice cream and selection of courses

Flew with a bunch of Jewish people who don’t know how to act in public, with at least 10 crying kids of different ages with no manners. People would stand in the isle during take off and touch down, absolutely no regards to the flight crew. Disgusting

Economy travelers provided with 2 hot meals, earplugs, mask, blanket, slippers, pillow. Bathrooms have toothbrush/toothpaste. Wonderful experience all around.
