Pros: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Cons: "The boarding process in Zurich was a free for all. There is not a "method" to their boarding (i.e. by row or zone) so all 300 passengers crowded around the gate. We paid $100 for exit seats but the seats were barely wide enough for me...a medium built thin male. Unfortunately this appears to be the trend. Swiss would do well to have a wide economy section."

Pros: "My luggage was lost for two days on the flight from Tampa to Zurich and/or Zurich to Naples. It was delivered by the end of the second day. But before that I found out I could not choose seats online for any of the Swiss Air Flights to and from Europe. It "had to be done" at the airport. Why? Never explained. I called Travis International, the agency booking the flights. Totally useless conversation resulted with no explanation."

To go from Naples to Munich and then turn around and go to Zurich before the 10 hour trip to Tampa made no sense. Lousy routing and customer service. Eidelswiss apparently is a lower-end branch of Swiss Air. My airfare was as much as and more than my other friends who flew Delta, for instance. Flights on other airlines did not take 10 hours from Zurich to Tampa. I lost the ticket receipts and could not claim anything for the items I bought to try get through the two full days without luggage, even though the airlines has a record of the claim. Outrageous!!"

Cons: "The boarding process was not ideal. This was our first time in the Zurich airport and we were not aware of the passport check at the gate. There were no signs and several passengers tried to board without the stamp only to be sent to the passport check line. Very frustrating. Also, there was no organization so everyone just rushed forward when boarding was called. They should consider boarding by rows to make it a more orderly process. Finally, there was no leg room at all. I realize airlines are trying to squeeze every passenger in that they can, but this was ridiculous. I'm 5'11" and my knees were pinned against the seat in front of me."

Cons: "1. The comfort in economy class was insulting and horrible. I am 6'3", 175lbs and was trapped in one uncompromisingly uncomfortable position for 8+ hours. Torture is a word that comes to mind. If I were a smaller sized person, 5'8" or less, perhaps this may be acceptable, but for anyone over 6'. forget it. You must pay loads extra to be given a respectable seat. I am hopeful that I don't develop a blood clot from this flight. This lack of room is a seriously dangerous situation for many people on long-distance flights. 2. The seat recline feature added further insult to the mix. Once airborne, the lady in the seat in front of me sent her seat into what was left of any personal space or legroom I had. The video screen on the setback in front of me was literally 6" from my face now. Several people who were also of taller size complained, one was so adamant about retaining his space that he fought verbally with the lady in front of him, and eventually a stewardess had to be called. My wife complained on my behalf, and was able to get the lady in front of me to reposition her seat, but eventually, I noticed it somehow found its way back to recline again. I know Lufthansa is not alone with this predicament, but something HAS TO BE DONE to fix this huge problem with air travel. 3. The food on the flight to Germany was way better than the return trip. The meal consisted of mushy carrots, greasy mashed potato-like side, and a piece of OK chicken smothered in 'Murican BBQ sauce. I was insulted. Lufthansa had been better than this in the past. Oh, and the dinner roll was so dry and crumbly, it could have been weeks old. The snack before landing was called pizza, but I wouldn't call it that It was a bunch of tasteless dough, a little bit of tomato like sauce and a smattering of cheese. I wish Lufthansa would stick to what they do best; German-influenced food. Be true to who you are. Most people I know love German food, and I always have looked forward to LH food selections. Not now."

Pros: "We had a very short connection as a result of a long delay in our flight from Athens to Munich. Lufthansa held the gate open and helped us get on board tom our flight to Chicago. The plane was big, roomy and the seats were comfortable. There were adequate number of toilets so people didn't have to stand in long lines. The crew was very friendly in an efficient way, not like in Asian airlines where the passenger gets coddled. I particularly appreciated the serving of water/juices every so often to stay hydrated."
Cons: "They could have made the transfer easier by having a trolley to move us instead of having us run through the airport. I am 70 and have had both knees replaced. While I can walk just fine, running was very difficult."

Cons: "Narrow, hard seats that will bring back your greatest dentist memories. Unappetizing menu choices, such that I chose not to partake. Nickel and dime add-on for wifi. Seriously? Thousands of dollars for business class, and you want another 13 Euro for wifi? Not bloody likely. I usually fly SAS business class, and based on this experience with Lufthansa, I will go straight back to SAS. They offer better service, better menu choices, and first class seating for the same price. Easy decision."

Pros: "Munich airport on other hand. We got to the airport several hours in advanced. Everything from getting a boarding pass to checking and weighing in your own bag was electronically. Long lines and majority of the systems were not working. After trying several machines and being directed into 3 different lines I finally was able to check my bag in. I had to leave my other family members who were flying with me as they were in another line. At the machine to check my bag in , a airport worker ran up to my bag and slammed it onto the ground as well as ripped off my luggage tags. My bag was upright on the conveyer belt instead of on its side , but how rude the airport workers are, is rediculous. After I asked why she did that she just began ordering me around to move my bag after I got my bag through the machine I asked to speak to a manager as the airport worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one would give me the time of day and the same airport working out her hand in my face saying repeatedly goodbye in German. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Trying to get through security a few travelers on a thin patience level started pushing people in line trying to by pass others it was so very chaotic workers had to go in between. Those travelers were complaining, because disabled travelers had a separate line that was faster. The worst airport experience I've ever had. Once on the plane everyone was pleasant. Crew was very helpful and always willing to assists"
Cons: "There was a child on the plane that was screaming and crying on and off for several hours. The parents didn't do anything to keep the child calm. Before we got to Chicago eveyone had to be seatbelt s before landing and the flight attendant asked eveyone to buckle up. The mother of the baby wouldn't listen and began yelling at flight crew. I think the flight crew did a great job, the passenger and child were very disruptive making the flight at times very uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest infants or toddlers flying for such long trips. No one wants to listen to a child screaming at the top of their lungs."

Pros: "I used to travel on Lufthansa almost exclusively until I had a very disturbing incident in Munich with a flight attendant. I refused to fly Lufthansa for quite a few years after that. That being said, the crew were attentive to passengers and the meals were reasonable. The seats were more comfortable than on LOT and Austrian. There were quite a few decent choices among the media during the flight."
Cons: "During my flight, my cell phone turned on at some point and downloaded some emails using the airplane's data connection. I will be needlessly charged for this. Once I noted that I was logged on, I tried to see if I could do other stuff before quickly logging off. It seems like it was totally worthless."

Pros: "It was my daughter's 16th birthday and one of the spunky crew members helped us to create a little celebration. That was very memorable! Otherwise the flight was late (which was OK, the captain kindly kept us informed), but the plane was clean and quiet. The bathrooms on the lower level provided a space to stretch, but as always, they get pretty dirty on a long-haul flight. Price was quite good. I always feel the flights originating from Europe are nicer than those originating in the US."
Cons: "The food was stuck in the past, roll, white cheese, white cake with sugary fruit, somewhat wilted small salad and a pretty greasy chicken dish with polenta and by that point, stewed veggies. I am not accustomed to eating like that and was disappointed (though hungry!). Not a whole lot of room in my seat, I'm 5'6" and slim, but at least the seats recline and glide forward a bit and the head rest bends to catch your head IF you can nod off. I appreciate the civility that still exists under stressful circumstances."

In lieu of announcing redundant information about customs, the weather, arrival time, safety, etc., why not offer that as information that can be provided on the screen and in the primary language of the listener so everyone isn't forced to listen to the same lengthy message twice? I'm sure the Lufthansa Customer Service Dept. has and is considering other alternatives, I'm just reiterating the obvious."

Cons: "I am disabled and we called the 24 hours in advance as requested to book seats with more leg room, accommodation for my autistic son's service dog, and special meals for my two children. None of these things were done as were booked even when presented with confirmation number provided by the central booking office. To top it off my daughter is allergic to peppers and her allergen free meal contained peppers."

I contrast them with the Lufthansa crew from Toronto to Munich who were short-handed but so pleasant even though they were overworked due to some crew members not showing up. Lufthansa food is average at best. The central restroom area on the MUC to ORD flight became filthy. Aren't crew members supposed to police that area? Or are passengers supposed to bring rubber gloves to clean it halfway through the flight?"

Pros: "The service was absolutely amazing! Even though I was sitting in economy, I was offered something to drink before take off and at least 5-10 times throughout the 9 hour flight. The food was really good for airplane food and it was a nice touch to have an actual plate and silverware. When you're traveling, those little touches make a big difference. The entertainment was wonderful - the screen on the back of the seat was really responsive and had a wide selection. I watched three movies and played several games."

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Boarding was easy enough - the flight was not fully booked so there wasn't the usual Central European pushing and anxiety during boarding. Flight crew are informative, cabin crew attentive and kind. Service and food were good."
Cons: "Comfort on these long haul flights is not expected in economy - the seat next to me was free which came in very useful as the person in front of me reclined almost immediately and kept throwing himself about in his seat in vain attempts to get comfortable - I was able to move over so I wasn't disturbed by his person. Why they have reclining seats is a mystery - it doesn't make it appreciably more comfortable for the person reclining and it reduces leg room for the person behind, makes it more difficult to watch the screen (despite the tilting feature) and means that the tray table is resting on your knees during meal times."

Cons: "Boarding at WAW was a joke - very disorganized and cramped gate area. Simple remedy is to give passengers guidance on where to line up for their assigned zone prior to boarding. No individual air ventilation - got hot and uncomfortable at times. Cramped economy seats - and if passenger in front of you fully reclines - your TV screen is almost in your lap. Hot meal included very rubbery chicken - obviously either overcooked or nuked too much. Attendants seemed indifferent or annoyed if you asked for individual attention outside of their normal rounds of serving drinks/etc (all I wanted was a Coke). I was essentially told to go to the back of the cabin and get my own drink... Upon arrival - de-planing took an eternity. We had a large group of teen band members traveling - who had scattered their instruments in overheads all around the plane. So anyone that was behind them had to wait until they figured out where all their stuff was stowed. OK - not necessarily LOT's fault - but again - a little thought and some hand's on guidance by the crew would have made it easier for the other passengers to get off the plane quicker after a 9 1/2 hour flight..."

Pros: "Flight was good. Warsaw is a well organized airport and easy for transit passengers to negotiate. Flight crew, staff were all helpful and approachable. The captain gave passengers relevant information and cabin crew did the same. Flight was problem free no turbulence no delays no just well run and well organized."
Cons: "Leg room - I know in economy you can't expect much but passengers are really cramped on the 787. 9 hours of sitting in a very restricted space with little opportunity to get up and about if you are hemmed in between two fellow passengers - and once the idiot in front of me had reclined his seat it became very uncomfortable. I don't frankly see why seats need to recline at all - it does not make it much more comfortable for those "reclining" and certainly makes it considerably worse for the person sitting behind. I also don't understand LOT's boarding process - it didn't make much difference but if you are assigned a ZONE 3 boarding number and it is never displayed and never called, what"s the point."

Pros: "The in-flight food service was perfectly fine. I also thought the entertainment options were of good quality. Perhaps a bit limited but there were movie options for a variety of tastes, including mine!"
Cons: "The seating was rather cramped. I'm 6'4 so I'm used to the lack of space however my neighbors on this flight were highly inconsiderate of all neighboring passengers. Rather than help with the situation the cabin crew seemed to take special delight in crashing into my knees. Combine that with a steady barrage of hip checks to my left shoulder and this was a bruising flight."

Pros: "Overall very good - no complaints. LOT is comparable with Lufthansa and KLM (the airlines I have most experience with) in terms of service and space. Boarding in Warsaw was chaotic - no announcements it just sort of started, I was in Zone 3 but there were only lines for Zones 1 and 2. The usual Central European pushing into the line. Flight was nice, smooth and good service. Leg room is limited but that is to be expected on any airline and flight. Would fly LOT again happily. On time, Captain made regular announcements. I arrived safely, as did my luggage. Can't wait for the direct service between Chicago and Budapest."

Cons: "When I handed over my boarding pass, I was told I had to walk seven gates away for an "extra security check." I am 71 years old and don't run well. I only object to the fact that they did not have the security check available at the boarding gate - or they might have called my name and sent me over there well before beginning boarding. They did assure me they would wait for me but I was the antepenultimate person to board the plane and quite upset by the whole thing."

The process of getting zones lined up and on the plane was a mess. They didn't communicate clearly about zones so every passenger got up and in line, lines weren't directed well, and people kept getting chastized for not knowing what was going on. Once we boarded the plane, we sat for an hour with no reasoning why we waited. When you already have a 9 hour flight, less time stuck in your seat is best. It was hard to understand the pilot when he spoke in English to know why we had delays and any updates while on the plane."

Cons: "Initially the entertainment system was not working. The crew was notified that screens are not working, so they rebooted it once. After some time, my and my daughters screens were still not working. We used call button to get crews attention. However, no one was paying attention to the lights. At some point there were 8 blue lights on throughout our cabin calling for assistance. I got attention by waving my hand and asking for help. I told 3 different times re my screen. They stated that they just rebooted the system and it will be working soon. My next seat neighbors were hour into their movies. No one did come back and check if I'm Ok if problem got resolved. Then they were even ignoring us and not offering drinks at this point. I felt like I got punished for asking for help. That's when I asked for crew person in charge. She was kind and offered to move to economy plus. We did move for majority of the flight. Enjoyed entertainment. However, when there was 1.5 h left of our trip, they woke us up and asked to move back to our seats since the meal plans are upgraded in this section. I was shocked, somewhat embarrassed to move back. I felt like a person that likes to cause trouble/ complainer being punished. Since we purchased full price ticket like everyone, we should be able to enjoy it like everyone. Airline should compensate clients, if there's issue with airplane. Flight to LT was good, however going home was extremely unnecessarily stressful. I'll try my best NOT to fly LOT in the future."

We boarded on time but then we waited for 30 minutes over the departure time, at the gate, inside the plane with no explanation. When finally the captain says 'boarding completed' aaand we wait another 30 minutes without explanation. Finally after one hour from our initial departure time we departed. In total 2 hours waiting in the plane, no water because it took the crew another hour to prepare to serve drinks! Flight was supposed to leave at 16:50, we got water around 19:00. Shame! Food is horrible, service is bad! We landed 2 hours later then we were supposed to. It seems that being late and not give explanations it's something that it's characteristic for polish airlines!"

The food is tasteless and small (I have ordinary needs)."

I wish this person would seat among them for 8 hours to enjoy it fully."

Cons: "Operations at Rekjavik airport are a disaster! Flights are so late that you cannot possibly make the short connections Icelandair has built into its schedule. The crowds are overwhelming. There are not enough gates for planes, so they park out on the tarmac and buses are used to take passengers to the terminal, which slows down the transfer process even more. Then the bus sat at the terminal with its doors closed and didn't let us off immediately. Once in the terminal, quick transfer cards were given to other flight's passengers, but not to ours. We showed our boarding pass to the person collecting the quick transfer cards. Our boarding pass plainly showed our flight was to depart at that very moment and the security person still sent us to the long line for passport clearance! The only reason we made our flight was because literally every flight was delayed, so our connecting flight left late. They were calling our names over the PA as we ran through the terminal, after finally getting through passport control. We have never had this problem at Rekjavik before. We asked what was wrong and the personnel told us this is the normal situation now. This is unacceptable! I will think twice before using Icelandair again!"

Cons: "Comfort - It was tight. We went JetBlue to get to the Icelandair flight and the seats were wider and more leg room. Food - Don't serve any and the flights were 4-5 hrs and each leg (more on that below on biggest problem). Yes you can buy food but they didn't have all the selections and for flights 4-5 hrs long they should provide something. Biggest Problem - gate management and connections were a BIG ISSUE. We had this coming and going on our trip. First US to Europe: We got into Reykjavik and sat for awhile on the tarmac then were herded on busses to get to the terminal (no gate for us). We had a 50 minute connection that was eaten up by this sitting on the tarmac, then busses (standing in rain), then customs, then running to the gate. From there another bus, more rain, then on the plane (again no gate). They did hold the plane for us but no special fast lane in customs, was told to sit down while we were sitting on the tarmac (I only wanted to see if we could get off first to make our flight). Second Europe to US: A repeat of the situation on US to Europe leg. Sitting on tarmac, busses (no rain this time), no gate, customs (this time we were told we could go through fast lane on the plane but was told no at customs). So, all of this to barely make our connections do you think we had time to grab some food to eat on the plane since they don't serve any food - NO."

Cons: "When you book a flight on Icelandair through Kayak, Kayak doesn’t tell you weather you’ve booked a ‘Economy light’ or an ‘Economy standard’ or ‘Economy premium’ ticket, it just says Economy. Icelandair offers a free checked bag for Economy standard and everything above, but not for light. We assumed we had standard because Kayak just said ‘Economy’ and found out later we had to pay for an expensive checked bag. Very disappointed in Kayak’s lack of communication and misrepresentation of the ticket we were booking."

Cons: "flight was delayed an hour, another hour to get luggage... main problem, however, was that once i was at FRA airport, the added a $105 surcharge on my luggage because supposedly it was an "economy light" ticket that doesn't allow checked luggage. It wasn't on the way over and it doesn't say anywhere on the ticket. To make things worse, none of the people at the counter were actually Iceland Air employee, so noone was able or willing to tell me anything about this (quote from employee "everything I tell you will be used against me" not sure if she was flippant or scared) Anyway, watch out for them screwing you over where they can"

Cons: "Half-filled cups of coffee and no seconds. A tiny bag of pretzels or cookies would really be appreciated, since you have to pay for all the other food on the flight. No 'rhyme or reason' to the boarding process, just everyone crowding in to get on board. This could be much more orderly."

Cons: "Seats are way to close together, not leaving any leg room. The aisle seats have narrower than normal room under the seat in front. The middle seats have a large plastic piece under the seat, which takes away about half the height. Also the non-aisle arm rests do not lift up."

Cons: "There was no free snack or food available on this flight, which was overnight and overseas. There was only a 45 minute layover, so no time to purchase food at the airport either."

Cons: "Part of the deal is that Icelandair didn't include a meal on our flight from Munich to MSP (transferring in Rejkavik). They do have things you can order from a menu (and those were quite tasty), but just be aware that meals are not included. If this (and asking you to pay for wifi) keeps ticket prices cheaper, it's probably the best situation for everyone."

Pros: "This was our first flight with Iceland Air and we kind of looked forward to it. On the way oversease we were immediately rebooked onto Swiss Air, before arriving at the airport, because Iceland Air had a delay and knew we would miss our connecting flight to Germany. We were very impressed by this and very happy with Swiss Air, also. On the way back we liked the roomier plane and the relative punctuality of the flights. Our luggage arrived fine and quickly at the end destination, despite the short layover, which often leads to lost luggage."
Cons: "Our biggest complaint is that Iceland Air does not offer meals as part of your ticket on its flights. They expect you to upgrade (and pay) for 'economy comfort' in order to get the meals and seating included in most other regular economy tickets. I don't think that being on a 6.5 hour flight (and a 3.5 hour flight immediately before without chance of making puchases at the airport in between, due to their delay) without a meal being included in your ticket is acceptable practice. They had a meny from which you could purchase food, things like baguette with ham/cheese, salad, oatmeal, instant noodles etc. But the prices for these cheap cafeteria options were insane. From the cheapest ($7 for a small instant oatmeal) to $16-$20 for a salad or small main course you would have to spend an additional 25-35$ per meal per person to get the usual airplane meal that all other airlines I know of include (2 per overseas flight). We did go hungry, eat candy, bought one little oatmeal and pretty much will avoid Iceland Air for that reason in the future. We thought it was outreageous to be asked to spend this amount of money or go without food for over 9 hours."

Pros: "On time arrival, smooth flight, efficient service, good price."
Cons: "Seats lack sufficient padding in the back...second trip to Iceland, second back ache on the plane. And for a 5.5 hour flight, even a small snack or breakfast item would be appreciated. No food at all unless purchased separately isn't sustainable, even in this market, in my opinion. That and the seats just annoy people."

Pros: "Comfort Economy on Icelandair is way above what other airlines do for "premium economy". The seats themselves on all four legs of my trip were the same as in "Saga Class" - the main difference is the service (Saga gets custom meals and other amenities.) But Comfort gets free food and most drinks (except champagne) from the menu plus lounge access."
Cons: "Nothing I received told me where to check in for the flight - MUC Terminal 1 has at least two distinct checkin areas and there was no signage nor anyone staffing the info booths. When boarding started, the "gate lice" crowded around the door area, but people were polite about it. The plane was delayed half an hour or so, but the time did not update on the gate display. While this flight, as with other Schengen zone flights, departs from the A gates, the lounge is in the D module and to get to it you have to fight the crowds stuffing a narrow corridor awaiting passport control. It wasn't too bad getting to it, but coming back was a trial, with many people thinking I was jumping the line."

Pros: "The crew were kind, attentive, and pleasant. The leg room was appreciated"
Cons: "Not even a complimentary snack was offered during the 7 hour flight, let alone a glass of wine or beer. These used to come standard. The entertainment system was also of poor quality in that the audio connection was damaged."

Cons: "Delayed in Munich without any info from the personnel. No food included unless you paid for a very few and not very appealing options that were quite overpriced!"

Cons: "our flight home was canceled without any email warning or any sort of message about it. We had to wait in the airport and call multiple people on our own to find out first, what was wrong, and two how to resolve the situation. It was not pleasant after waking up at 4AM to catch the flight in the first place."

Pros: "First, I loved my window seat, and thanks for the clear skies as we flew over my vacation home on a lake in Wisconsin! Also, the functioning screen was a nice distraction when we were clouded over the Greenland/eastern Canada part."
Cons: "PLEASE review and update your food choices. Nothing was healthy and the baguette sandwich had one piece of ham with melty cheese on extremely soggy bread. Had we realized how poor the selection was, we would have grabbed salads and fruits/veggies from the much better fare at the Reykjavik airport. Cheap airline doesn't have to include bad food."

Pros: "The crew was very courteous, the in-flight entertainment plentiful, and the coffee was excellent!"
Cons: "Gate agents in Munich were a bit slow on getting people checked in. Also, the seats were SUPER-cramped in economy."

Pros: "The airline itself is good for a low cost carrier. Staff was nice and the plane was in good condition. Entertainment options were average. Food was good but very expensive. $18 for a small chicken curry dish."
Cons: "Due to undisclosed technical issues our flight was delayed by several hours going to Reykjavik from Munich. They informed us in Munich that we would miss our connections to the USA and would NOT re-book until we got to Reykjavik. They only have 1 flight out every day to the USA so they booked us conveniently in their Icelandair Hotel, had a bus transfer and dinner buffet all set for us. The whole thing felt a little too set up and I still cannot figure out what the scam was but it felt like one. The following day we were delayed again by one hour and by the time we were ready to fly it had started snowing so we had to be de-iced so another hour added. I am not sure I would fly with them again unless I was visiting Iceland."

Pros: "Seemed like there was extra leg room, compared to our last flight on American, where my husband's legs were literally touching the seat in front of him when he sat down. I also appreciate when the headrests have those little wing things so it makes it easier to fall asleep in a chair by keeping your head in place. The blankets were cosy. The crew was super efficient. It's the fastest I have ever gotten my drinks on a plane. They also seemed to be very helpful to the family with small children ahead of us, and seemed to help the baby stop crying, which was nice."
Cons: "I wish I knew in advance that we would have had to pay for food so that I could have gotten some food (because in general I assume for transatlantic flights that there are meals included. The boarding process was a bit jumbled, although still pretty efficient, but I think that's because of the airport layout rather than a fault specifically of the airline."

Cons: "Seats recline too much resulting in the person in front of me encroaching on my area. There was no free food or snacks on a international flight. The boarding area was a mess and no verbal instructions were given for boarding."

Cons: "This was a six and a half hour flight. Snacks could be purchased, but no meals were served. Other airlines would provide at least one and perhaps two meals on a flight of this length. There was a long delay to board, and no communication from the check in staff"

Cons: "Already confused by a late transfer, the boarding was very unorganized and passengers sat on a full transfer bus for 30 minutes while the employees continued to try and fit more passengers from the transfer onto a packed bus. No one seemed to be in charge to tell the bus to bring the passengers to the plane (literally 100 yards away) and come back fro the remaining passengers."

Pros: "The crew was wonderful on all of my Icelandair flights. They were helpful and professional. Since I was sitting in an exit row, at no extra charge, I was comfortable on my flight. On the one flight I was not in an exit row I still felt I had room and was comfortable flying."
Cons: "Boarding was a nightmare. Because it is just a free for all people stood by the door ready to pounce. At the Iceland airport there is simply not enough room to do this. I know they are expanding the airport but as of right now, so there are not enough seats for waiting, but so order to boarding would be helpful. I also understand that in this day and age we have to pay for every extra, but it would have been nice to not have to pay for at least a snack on the long flights."

Pros: "The crew was very professional and friendly. Enjoyed flying with them. I was able to get a dinner voucher for the delayed flight. The plane is quite large and has decent leg room for all. Lots of movies to see and tv shows."
Cons: "The air traffic control computers crashed at KEF. So all flights to the USA and Canada were delayed 3 hours or more. My seat didn't recline evidently because I was at an emergency exit."

Pros: "As promised, flying through Iceland, even with only a 45 minute layover, was very easy and plenty of time to catch our next flight."

Cons: "No announcements were made that we were boarding, the flight was delayed (again - 3 out of 4 of our IcelandAir flights were delayed), and we boarded in the order that we were standing in line - extremely inefficient as everyone had to wait for everyone on the plane to put their bags away. This is handled much better in every airport I've ever been in, not sure why this can't be a MUCH better experience from Iceland."

Cons: "The airport at Reykjavik was rather crowded and hectic, it did not detract from the quality of the flight and of the airline in general but it was a rather cramped place"
