Pros: "So apparently I was told I was 1 min too late and the computer would not let them print a backache check. Further they were tellin me I couldn't get in my flight and have my luggage go later, but I understand because of security reasons. Finally it was 10 min til my flight left, I asked how about if I walk my bags through security check point; have TSA examine them and then they get placed in the plane like oversized carry ons normally do? Ding I struck a light bulb and they said yea why not. After a few phone calls later I was walking with my bags through TSA. It took me to think this up for Delta. A minute too late was the original response from the first agent. 1 minute! Not 10 not 5 she said the computer just got locked out. I was going to miss my flight for 1 min time restraint. The first agent didn't care and just blew me away. Thankfully the next agent tried. I had to throw away all my toiletries because TSA wouldn't let them through."

Pros: "Flight 1751 Miami to Cleveland 1/11/21. Flight attendants did not enforce mask policy! Family of four sick sneezing, coughing, short of breath. The fathers mask was down the entire flight. Even when the flight attendants picked up the trash. They were informed after the flight they did not comply with CDC, Department of health, and state policies. Their response was “ I made announcements overhead. Didn’t you hear?”. Appalling endangering customers and disregarding Federal, State, and local policies."

Service sucks, except 1 nice fellow, who apologized. 6 bottles for 36 passengers. 1 crew had cold towel around his neck sitting, 1 doing crossword so we had to help ourselves. 1 crew saw something in the plane & screamed so hard woke up a sleeping pilot. 1 crew slept for 2 hrs and 1 watch TV for 1 hrs. NEVER VERY, IF I CAN AVOID IT, WILL I TRAVEL WITH AA. They own a lot of us more than an apology."

Had it been busy, it would have been different in that seats were not very wide, aisles very small, if the seat in front reclines and you don't, you can't see your screen and not a lot of space in general."
Cons: "If you want to select your seat, be prepared to pay £175 per flight. This is ridiculous! Second meal was a very bare bbq beef pie or sweet potato pie... On their own with nothing else and it arrived 30 minutes before we landed so very rushed. On a 9.5hr flight the 2nd meal needed to be an actual meal and come sooner than it did."

Gate staff lied about the status of the plane, updating the boarding time to 10 minutes and then announcing that the plane was still in the hangar. Passengers would have been much happier to hear the truth of a 2h delay so that we could get food/drink. Instead we had 2h worth of promises that the plane was leaving in 10 mins. No effort was made at being nice--no free snacks or whatever would be nice to make people feel cared for. But what's worse was the flight attendants. I don't even feel like getting into it--just suffice to say these are people who should not be working in the service industry. I saw them being rude to a number of people and it made an already bad experience (with the 2h delay) that much worse. It's not that hard to be polite to people. AA should do more to hire caring, kind staff who create happy vibes even through stressful times."

Pros: "I had to buy new clothes after lost bag and since bag had been lost twice during my trip, I was reluctant to check the bag. It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."
Cons: "My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."
Pros: "The Bogota based crew provided the best service I have ever experienced. Extremely pleasant and customer focused. We were flying with twins and they assisted us through out the flight. Once we landed in MIA they helped us maneuver through the maze to reach the customs & immigration area quickly. All in all a great experience."

Pros: "Tiny airplane but single flght crew managed my and from what I could see fellow passengers needs commendably. Whilst I didn't like needing to hand in my carry on (without much warning so I didn't have time to pull out a magazine to read) on the plus side it was stored well as my suit carrier came out unscathed and you get your bags curb side as soon as the plane lands so you don't have to wait for the rest of the bags to unload."

Still, no one thought it was necessary to explain what part of the process or what exactly is going on. The man that diverted us, I'll bet, does not have reasons or any idea why he diverted us. I hate to think that he did it because we were Black Americans."

It had to be cleaned and prepared for our flight, which then took off over 1 1/2 hours late. Many passengers missed their connecting flights and American Airlines was no help... they directed people to the Miami Airport Crew. American Airlines stated that the plane was late due to air traffic control issues, but in reality the plane hadn't even arrived yet. I felt like I was lied to! Shame on American Airlines! I will never fly with this company by choice!"

I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."

Cons: "The 767 is no longer feasible at the load factors that the airline is using for it. Although the seats had been re-furbished, the overhead space is completely unsuited for roll on luggage and so, can't even come close to accommodating the number of bags that are brought on to any flight close to capacity. I would think that it would be beneficial for American to waive the checked baggage fee on any 767 flight to keep from boarding delays due to lack of overhead space. Also, on this flight we had the added problem of a maintenance issue. The flight departure kept getting pushed back in 15 minute increments and there appeared to be a disturbing lack of knowledge of what needed to be done and the time it would take to finish the repair and more on the paperwork to release the plane. We were kept in cramped and uncomfortable circumstances for 3 hours for a 2.5 hour flight.. This was a bad experience."

We hit so fast and hard that the plane teetered from one wheel to the other and fish tailed so hard that people's necks were hurt. If possible, I'll never fly United again."

Cons: "I was seated in a window seat and another woman my size about 110 pounds was seated in the aisle however there was a 400+ pound man sitting in a middle seat which made it very difficult for me especially to even sit back because it was touching me the whole time when you have somebody of that size You should make sure they are on and I'll because then the find attendance would have some difficulty getting through instead of your passengers being inconvenienced either that or force people of that size to take two seats"

Boarding was easy and orderly since passengers with carry on luggage boarded first.
The wide seats help and were reasonably priced. Def worth it. Added at least a small bit of comfort to the flight

They need to add outlets to charge phones, laptops and tablets . Also it is annoying to pay for the ticket and then seats and luggage . The only thing they are not charging is the air we use.

At least give passengers snacks & something to drink
Spirit is the worst US airline. Their business model is to inconvenience customers to save money, such as with long wait times at check in. It’s also an airline that makes no effort or be organized or take passenger comfort into account. The flight staff is also rude and demonstrates an attitude or superiority to customers. Budget airline passengers deserve to be treated with a bit more respect.
Nothings, have better planning for pilots as I lost my flight after many days of planning.

The crew , should be nicer
It was not a full flight so I had lots of space. Also I was given an exit seat which was great. Crew was very friendly. We took and got back Miami even earlier than scheduled. Thank you spirit.
Cons: "More staff. Plane delayed. Line to get bag tag was not clearly marked, self tagging did not save me anytime. Security agent was rude. No place to sit in gate area. No snacks or beverages. Seats very uncomfortable. Luggage too a long time to arrive."

Cons: "The surprise fees for luggage starts off this rant. It cost another $160.00 for three checked bags. More than I paid for a seat. Then the boarding was terrible, thru charge you for “priority 2” boarding which amazingly everyone is. The seats inside the plane don’t recline. $3.00 water??? Enough"

Felt like I was on the plane from Soul plane, bunch of dudes congregating by the rest rooms, people running amuck all over the place. People yelling in 4 different languages. They are super cheap but then nickel and dime you to death. Everything costs from a $40 carry on bag to a $5 pepsi. 18x16x8 is what's free. Pissed them off because I had a book bag exactly that size and sure stuffed it fully!"
Cons: "After landing we were told that our gate is busy, and we need to wait another 20 min, but it took like around 40 min to get parked at the gate. After flying non stop for 4 hours waiting another 40 min in the plane is just too much...."

Cons: "It was frustrating to learn after booking that Spirit nickels and dimes you on everything, and these seats don’t recline! We thought we had found a great deal through kayak, but after paying for carry on bags and having a terribly uncomfortable red eye on the way out, we realized it was not worth it. Kayak should find a way to make those trade offs clear when they show them next to normal airlines."

Cons: "The seats are the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in. They are small and if you have broad shoulders you will have will be in another space. They are ok for a 2 hour flight."

Cons: "Boarding announcer a little hard to understand, pilot's voice was hard to hear, and no reason was given as to why the seatbelt light was turned on mid flight. It turns out it was due to turbulence, but it would have been nice to be reassured as I don't fly all that often. Other than that, everything else was perfect and I could not complain."

The seats are very uncomfortable, they do not recline and you'll definitely bump elbows with your neighbor. I'm 5'2 and 120lbs and the seats were wayyyyy too tiny for me!"

Pros: "Love the prices and the cleanliness of the airplane. Every staff I have interacted with have been friendly, polite, and look as though they enjoy their job and coworkers. The Spirit terminal at the Baltimore airport is phenomenal. It is spacious, clean, bright and modern. I will definitely be flying Spirit again!"
Cons: "This is the second time that I have flown from Logan airport on Spirit. Both times I have been very disappointed and disgusted by the terminal. The terminal is crowded and unclean. There were crumbs, wrappers and bottles on the floor. The trash can near the gate was overflowing with boxes and napkins. I was in the terminal for over two hours and not once was the bathroom or terminal serviced by facilities or maintenance staff. The bathroom is dark and crowded as well. Because the stalls and space is so small it's hard to manage your bags while using the bathroom. I would highly encourage an extra shift for cleaning crew and perhaps a different layout for chairs to make it feel less crowded and to bring a modern feel and look to the terminal."

Cons: "The flight did not have a pilot and had a large delay and possible cancellation. I did not stick around to find out if it was cancelled. I had to buy a new ticket on Southwest. To top it off, when I tried to get a refund, for some reason they had screwed up my ticket in their system and were not able to process the refund. Overall, a poor experience with Spirit."
