I don't blame the cabin crew for this event, especially since they had to endure it as well. However the attitude was that things like this are just part of flying these days, along with lousy food and shrinking leg room. I guess that's the truth of it though. Also not to be over-reactive but there is a public health component to this; Mexico had 805 cases of zika in 2017. And although in general we may be more at risk from a local mosquito that has fed on an already infected tourist, we should make an attempt to limit the introduction of any infectious vectors.."

Flight attendants offered to provide one-at-a-time beverage service to those "really in need of a drink." I thought that was pretty gracious under the circumstances, and was happy to see that passengers didn't take advantage of the option :-). Looks like United is doing its best to counteract its recent negative publicity. Well done!"

Cons: "Departure was delayed for five hours. Gate changes 4 different times to opposite sides of the terminal. Weren't told honest reason of the delay until two hours in. They boarded half of the plane and stopped when the pilots radioed in that there was a severe hydraulic fluid leak. Updates were supposed to happen every thirty minutes but more than three times they were longer than thirty minute intervals and at one point more than ninety minutes without an update. The representatives at the Chicago gate told us we were all set then the rest of the passengers boarded the plane. The pilot said they were waiting on maintenance paperwork to print off but then we waited an extra hour at the gate on board while we could still hear very loud tests of the hydraulic system. Once we finally left the gate and headed out on the runway for takeoff we stopped just before takeoff and the pilot said we were waiting on PAPERWORK AGAIN! This was another 30 minute delay and we finally took off. We were supposed to arrive home at 10:00pm and instead arrived at 3:00am..."

O'hare is not well-organized. The 1 stop immigration/custom check actually was very slow. The regular check was very chaotic, with officers yelling info everywhere. Felt like I was in the market."

After spending extra hours waiting due to a delay, we were about 30 min from DCA and our flight was redirected to N.C where we spend an extra 2 hrs waiting for the plane to re fuel and the reason the airline's flew us to N.C is supposedly due to weather in D.C but i was told by locals that its hardly rained. I had spent 11hrs total in airports yesterday. I could have taken that trip via car in 12hrs and saved myself $300 bucks or more. I am beyond unsatisfied with how my travel experience was. From rude united employees to a bad flying experience i will not use united anymore and frankly, me and all the other passengers on that flight should be compensated somehow for that experience. The only easy thing about this trip was purchasing my tickets through kayak and how well there service is. Thank you"
Cons: "Seat was in the middle of the isle, flight attendant kept bumping into me. The guy sitting next to me didn't fit in his seat so he took up most of the room. Very unpleasant experience, especially after spending money to upgrade to more comfort."

Pros: "Dirt cheap flight. you get what you pay for. Outstanding flight crew. Check-in personnel really tried to get everyone checked in and to their flights on time. Because their is a fee for overhead baggage, they actually have less bags to deal with during the boarding process. I like that, but I wish my check-in bag was free as a result."

Really? -At Denver, Frontier seems to send every flight out at the same time, so you literally have 7-10 different flights trying to check in during the same two hour window. Sometimes flights are late, or turbulent, or full of people you don't want to share your space with: that's all inevitable chance. I know all that; I'm sympathetic to all that. This was worse, and it was clearly their fault. That is: my flight suffered from resentment-inspiring discomforts, specifically due to how Frontier runs things. - They've finally found a seat spacing that discomfits even those of average size. I'm 5'8", and could find nowhere to put my body and my backpack that didn't crush one or both. - There's not nearly enough time to actually clean a plane between flights; that's understood. However: I'll happily wait the extra 10 minutes it takes to vacuum broken crackers off my chair and underseat. - Even the small courtesy of crackers and soda are subject to charge. COME ON. When my legs have been tingly since an hour into a cross-country flight, and my stuff covered with crumbs from the previous guests, trying to charge for all but water just feels extra-galling. TL;DR: unless you're a real light traveller on the compact side, or taking a short flight, the corners Frontier cuts are too tough to economize."

Last time with Frontier unless they are the only carrier gong to my destination."

If there was entertainment, I didn't know about it. There isn't even any printed material beyond the safety card and the menu of drinks or snacks for purchase. Bring your own food if you want to eat more than chips or trail mix."

Cons: "The contract employees at the Customer Service counter in DEN were totally incompetent this time. We could not get a simple question answered by the individual who spoke to us. We finally left the counter in total amazement and disgust. The ticket counter people at DCA were totally clueless.....only a single person there watching and instructing the other 6 or more managed to get the job done......although very slowly. I don't know if the baggage claim people at DCA are Frontier controlled, but they are horrifically slow......it took an hour to get our bags. The only actual flight complaint I have is the new seating......it is terrible.....the slouching position is absolutely awful."
