Computer record showed that I did not board despite my boarding pass being scanned and my passport number entered at the gate before I boarded. I left for a 6 day trek to Choquequirao, Peru without any of the gear that I needed for this trip. I had to acquire the bare minimum in a rush the night before leaving for the trek. I'm 10 days into my trip and still do not have my bag. Central baggage claim has been less than sympathetic and not at all proactive or helpful."

While everyone was seating themselves, my fellow rowmates asked me to exchange my window seat for an aisle seat, so that grandmother, mother, and daughter could sit together. That put me two rows closer to that screaming baby. I came prepared to watch a movie with my phone and new noise canceling headphones, and then discovered the United Wi-Fi didn't offer movies on that flight, the same aircraft type and route as when I was able to watch a movie that way, earlier this year. I didn't find a way to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the plane's entertainment system, and I'm also disappointed in myself, to have to say, it took me far too long, to figure out that I needed to interact with the screen in front of me, through the control pad under my elbow on the armrest. By that time, there wasn't enough time left in the flight, to start a movie. So, I just played music stored on my phone, which helped mask the baby screams."

He went on to explain to her we purchased our tickets together with seat assignments - Together. She then said if we didn't reclaim them when checking in, 24 hours prior, the seats then became available again. What kind of logic is this?! Ugh! If I wanted to be treated like cattle I would have stuck with Southwest! We. It's back to Southwest for us. At least they are up front with their rules."

Pros: "Flight from Hartford to Denver was excellent. First time flying From brier so I was unaware that snacks only were available for purchase so I arrived very hungry in Denver."
Cons: "Flight attendant was somewhat rude when I had to make a run for the bathroom when the fasten seatbelt sign was on, but I couldn’t delay. Had to wait until they finished serving water instead of pushing their cart forward so I could return to my seat. Shortly after, the pilot made an announcement to please be respectful of the fasten seatbelt sign. I’m a seasoned and obedient passenger but sometimes the need for a trip to the bathroom is immediate. I think the flight attendant could have been a little nicer about it."

Cons: "Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline."
Cons: "if you have a hard engagement that you have to make, i hate to say it, but use a bigger airline. These guys are not dependable nyc -> miami. Have had 2 flights cancelled and delayed over 6 hours in the last 6 months. Only one scheduled flight everyday. If you can risk it, fine, but otherwise not worth it."

Not worth the discounted rate, especially after checking two bags each way. Nobody ok either of my flights had anything positive to say. No thanks, Frontier. You were terrible."

Cons: "Unexplained 4 hour delay added to the general inconvenience of a Frontier flight. I have had more cancellations with this airline than any other. Yes, their prices are low but you get what you pay for. By the time you pay fees for both carry on and checked bags it isn't such a stellar deal after all. If it were well managed and reliable I might consider booking again, but it is clearly not a well run airline. Look elsewhere!"

Cons: "By the time I had paid for the flight and baggage, I almost had paid for the American Airlines flight that was also available. The flight was delayed for multiple hours due to mechanical issues. I think it was the worst landing I've ever experienced. For the inconvenience of our long delay, Frontier gave us vouchers, but there is a long list of restrictions: must be used within 90 days, cannot be used to pay for the entire fare, etc. I find the voucher to be an insult."

I was not aware of this and their other site (KAYAK, etc.) representatives need to VERY CLEARLY identify the carry-on charge policy. The time to process stand-bys was excessively long. It took over half an hour to process the stand-bys to allow our cabin door to close when we were already delayed 40 or so minutes. Also, 1) Notifications of delays were slow and 2) A warning to expect crowded ticket counter conditions would have been helpful."
