The cost of of the tablet was cheap and allowed you access to everything, which is different from other airline a-la-carte purchasing of different entertainment. -Crew was great, food/beverage service was also great."
Cons: "-At HNL there was poor signage to get from the rental car return to the airline. Once we got into the terminal it really wasn't clear if we should go left or right, We wound up asking an American employee where Alaska was. -After the checked bag agriculture inspection it was not clear that you go to the kiosks there right after the inspection. I think it partially wasn't clear because there were multiple large groups traveling with tons of luggage and you go straight to the kiosks and then back track to hand over your checked bag. The line for checking the bag vs needing help wasn't clear either. Luckily there were Alaska employee's there helping at the kiosks and with the bag checking so it did go smooth but could definitely be better."

Cons: "Alaska has scaled back seats, not as comfortable as Hawaiian. No meal included even on the long flight to Hawaii. Hawaiian has a meal and seats seem to be more roomy in coach. I am not a big person and o thought it was more cramped than my Hawaiian Coach seating."

Cons: "I found the aisle seats to be more uncomfortable than the inner seats. There was less room under the seat for baggage and feet and I got my elbow banged pretty bad by a cart (I had fallen asleep). I also think it is lame to be charged for basically everything but a drink and a cracker on a 5+ hour flight. We get nickle and dimed for everything. $10 for each food item, $10 for a movie screen (what happened to the good old days with free in flight movies?). We have to pay to check luggage ($25 bucks). We normally avoid flying if humanly possible because it is in general too much stress and too expensive but we prefer Southwest airlines if they will go to our destination. Bags are included with their tickets!"

Arrived at airport 6 hours early day of and was assigned 31F (only32rows) tried to change as I really wanted near front, isle seat... was turned down but guy and wife in line behind me changed thier's from back to row 6.... I endured 31F surrounded by sick coughing, sniffing, snotty nosed, sneezing people and crying children for next 6 hours...I've been back almost a week and just now feeling well enough to venture out...I will never travel Alaska airlines if they won't give me an acceptable seat assignment... Hawaiian Airlines trip there was wonderful!"

Pros: "As always, your staff were courteous, and professional. I appreciate how some flight attendants add personal flair to the safety briefings. Some would say it's unprofessional, but I think it is very valuable, because the more entertaining the attendants are, the more people pay attention to the safety briefing. I loved it. It also builds a trust relationship where passengers are more likely to follow instructions if there was an emergency."
Cons: "I don't like paying $25 to check my luggage, and then see people checking their bags at the gate for free. I don't care for pretzels, so I wish there was another option for a complimentary snack. Not a huge deal, though."

Pros: "We have been traveling to Hawaii and especially Kauai for years. We love the fact that we don't have to fly into Honolulu and transfer to the Inter-Island Terminal with Alaska. This saves a lot of time and there is a lot less hassle. We upgraded to Preferred Seats which are in the Exit Rows and with the extra leg room, it is really nice especially if you have someone in the window seat. We don't eat anything on the plane because we usually head to our favorite restaurant once we land."
Cons: "The only thing I don't like is that the seats are not as padded as they use to be. With a 4-1/2 hr. flight, they become really hard. I am planning on taking a seat cushion with me the next time I fly."

When I got up to use the restroom unfortunately it was while they were still serving drinks, I was in seat 6F and I said excuse me to see if I can pass them to use the restroom but I was ignored. So I patiently stand behind them until about row 20 and at this point the lady says oh just use first classes restrooms so I go. While in first class that attendant says I can't use this one and then another one tells me just go ahead by time I get back to my seat the cpatian comes on the intercom to tell everyone rows 6-30 something to only use the back 3 lavatories.. On top of that the hot plates made me and my husband sick!"

I asked her what kind of juice she had and she grabbed the card from the seat in front of me and without saying a word stuck it in my face. Very impatient. she seem to be in a hurry so I was irritated and asked her to just give me a water. When I asked for water, she replied by saying "After all of that, that's all you want? ". Very unpleasant experience."

Pros: "On time (or early). Very friendly service. Power outlets for each seat. Free Mai Tai on return to Honolulu. Chicken meal for purchase was tasty and appropriate value. Fast baggage service. Ticket fare was below other airlines."
Cons: "No included entertainment. I know it's the norm for the industry, but beverage service is infrequent and pretzels hardly do much to curb appetite. Offering drinks for purchase more frequently would be nice. Coach seats were not uncomfortable but they are rarely wide or have enough leg room to score a 5 on comfort."

Cons: "When the flight attendants came thru with dinner offers I was not offered a dinner. When they came thru with drinks I said yes but I also wanted a dinner but wss not offered one. The attendant was very hostile and said well there are a lot of you and only a few of us. We're gonna miss some people. What do you want I can get it. But it wasn't a friendly offer, it sounded more resentful. This was an almost 6 hour flight. Later when they went thru again to offer snacks they made a big production to ask me loudly if I wanted one. Even opening her eyes very widely and saying are you sure? I could tell it was because I had complained earlier. But I didn't even really complain. I just said I didn't get offered a meal, on an almost 6 hour flight, and I wanted one."

They were coughing and choking and looked miserable I feel sorry for the people that were sitting in front of them that were getting coughed on I feel when someone showing that much sickness the flight attendants should I have them wear masks because now me and who knows how many other people got sick because of them or at least offer the healthy people the masks Nothing bad on the airline part but for the sake of their passengers that would have been nice ."

Plane took off almost two hour later/delay due mechanical, paper works and refueling problems according to the captain. 2. During the over 5 hours flight, passengers had to suffer almost 3 hours of hard air turbulence. 3. A passenger with medical problem during the flight had to treated by another passenger (doctor) and our plane landed in emergency. The flight was one of the worst I have had so far. I will rethink before choose Alaska next time."

Pros: "The Alaska flight was on time and arrived in Bellingham on time. They was no delays or hitches. The flight was very full and one of the bathroom did not work. Some of the attendants was not very professional."

Flight attendants were right behind me and their family's were on the flight and they were loud the hole time talking and laughing in the back or the plane. Also in and out of overhead bumping into me over and over. Also had people bump into me so they could walk by. Totally disrespectful and rude to a lot of the people on board. Also had family in back of plane talking to them and takeing up room and being loud in the rest room in back of plane."

Pros: "Check-in at the Honolulu Airport was good and ground crew were very helpful. It was a red-eye flight, so did not eat or use any onboard entertainment. Overall a very good experience with Alaska Airlines."

We were booked on a flight that was delayed, turned out there was a flight about to depart (it had been delayed 2.5hrs due to weather), but was departing prior to our reg scheduled flight so they put us on standby. No doubt the crew was also columbus based and eager to get home...as they did. Couldn’t be more pleased to get home"

Cons: "No safety briefing for infants, rude gate staff, primitive fleet, terrible customer service at all levels."

Pros: "Bridget was managing the cancellation lines with finesse, compassion, and urgency. She was a star! The rebooked flight was fast, comfortable, and landed early."
Cons: "Previous flight was canceled and forced us to stay in DC an extra day. Watched flights continue to arrive and depart from our hotel room. Rebooked using the mobile app but could not check in on mobile or at the kiosk. Waited in line for almost 2 hours for AA to simply check us in and print passes. The flight did not get catering refreshed after landing in DC so no refreshments or snacks were offered during the flight home."

Cons: "I'm pregnant, and didn't have time before my connecting flight to get food at the airport. I was sitting near the back of the plane, and was ready to purchase food. By the time the cart reached my row, all the food options were literally sold out. I ate the free cookie and had some apple juice, but wanted something with some protein. I guess I'll remember to pack more snacks next time."

Pros: "Awesome crew. On time."

Pros: "worst experience. Airplane people not so good"

Cons: "The seats were so old, I didn't have a screen to watch movies on and it was really really cold"

Pros: "It was a fairly routine flight. Could use a more substantial snack for a four hour flight."
Cons: "While waiting for our baggage in Phoenix, we noticed a few random bags with tears, rips and clothes hanging out. Then we saw our suitcase. The zipper was torn away from the lining so that it no longer closes all the way. There items hanging out of the gap. What was happening in the basement that caused at least 4 damaged bags?"

Pros: "the plane, a 380, had comfortable seats, fewer occupants, more and easier access to bathrooms, did not like the larger plane I flew on going to Australia, it held 700 persons could physically reach the lights and when on, they didn't disturb anyone vegetarian food was delicious and nutritionally sound and varied love the soft blankets"
Cons: "not a very good choice of current movies"

Cons: "Poor customer service"

Cons: "The in-flight entertainment was out, and the a/c was barely working-not good for a four hour flight. Instead of addressing the issues the flight crew was more interested in chatting with each other. No pre-flight drink service in first class, they rarely even passed through the canin."

Cons: "Ride flight attendants"

Cons: "Unprofessional, rude, unorganized, & just ridiculous!!!!"

Pros: "The boarded quickly and had our flight arrive back to Toronto a little earlier than expected"
Cons: "There wasn't any in flight entertainment systems and the app they said you need to watch movies wouldn't download. Pretty boring over all"

Cons: ". My flight from Maui to Phoenix was not good. I was at the back near where they store foods and drinks. I had a bad stomach pain. I requested a hot tea. Flight attendant declined. Was a horrible flight because of my stomach pain. If I only knew American Airlines flight attendant are very rude. I will not book this airline again. Very poor customer service. The flight attendant was white , male, older."

Pros: "This was my first experience flying United. The staff and pilot were friendly even though everyone seemed grumpy and tired. There was a poor baby that cried almost the whole flight-I get it, I was tired and wanted to cry too...ha! They handled everyone with patience and a smile."
Cons: "When we landed in Columbus we were stuck on the plane for almost a half hour because there were issues with the walking bridge. This was annoying."

Cons: "The onboard wifi was not working."

Pros: "On my flight home from Columbus, there was one guy running the whole ship! He. Was. Everything!!! So Attentive but not overly so. And he read my mind and gave me what I needed before I even realized I did. Thank you to him for one of my best flights!"
Cons: "There really wasn't an entertainment option. A lot of airlines these days have much better service that's simple yet good. Also, just a small pack of pretzels? Fail. You have to keep up with the Deltas and Jetblues of the world!"

Cons: "It was freezing on the flight no blankets. A lot of turbulence and a very hard landing. Not pleasant at all."

Pros: "Boarding was as it should be. The flight crew were friendly and did their jobs well."
Cons: "Two of the movie screens in our row were broken. The seats are rediculously tight. Leg room is terrible."

Pros: "Wheelchair was provided"
Cons: "Long wait for wheelchair"

Pros: "The flight attendant in coach was very nice."
Cons: "Seat assignment was last seat on the plane, next to the bathroom... and the luggage return was slow."

Cons: "Flight got cancelled cause of issues with plane. Took over 5 hours in line to get to the counter to talk to someone. There were only 2 counter people for first 3 hours. Once at counter ther had to put us on flight for next day. (Just informed 5 min ago that flight has been delayed another day cause of plane issues.) they couldn't get us to sit together which I understand but also put me in a middle seat which I'm clostraphobic so that sucks. Told me that I can book a hotel to stay at and they would reimburse me.... eventually. Fought over that for an hour and they finally agreed to pay for Hotel. Overall the trip was great but the departure from Kauai has been real bad. Still waiting to leave the island."

Pros: "Crew staff was excellent"
Cons: "Flight was delayed for 4 hours due to a delayed aircraft; followed by a broken seat. Seat seemed to have tape wrapped around the seat back tray."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing!!!"
Cons: "I never got to make the flight. I was unable to take the flight because it was cancelled by United without my consent. I still needed the flight too. I'll never use priceline or United airlines for travel EVER again, and I'll be sure to spread the word. No matter who I talked to, I was blamed for the problem. I've never had a bigger waste of money. $550+"

Pros: "Liked the staff, always friendly even with several delays. The assist staff were excellent"
Cons: "Did not like the delays and gate changes - but that wasn't the airlines' fault"

Cons: "My scooter should have been gate checked to BWI. instead it was only checked to LAX due to a error at the gate. It arrived 14choirs later."

Pros: "the plane was on time, smooth take off and landing, crew was efficient and friendly. it was great !"

Pros: "I really appreciate them getting us there safely the crew was fine and it was nice to have tvs on each seat complimentary it really helps having something else to take you away mentally when physically your crammed together and it's really not comfortable or pleasant. I think the staff and crew were just fine though it's just flying has gotten to be something I don't enjoy and want to avoid as much as possible it's that way with most airlines though I think her blue is a little better on seat space and usually always has the tvs but yeah they are limited where they fly and it I is just expensive and uncomfortable to fly I think."

Pros: "The crew were very understanding that we all just wanted to be home (the flight was delayed for three hours, so we didn't get home until 2am). They were efficient and got us home safely and quickly."
Cons: "I was not impressed with United and how they handled the delay. The staff did not care that we were waiting for 5 hours for a plane they couldn't even guarantee was coming. No workers were at the gate for a long time to even help out customers."

Cons: "United canceled my reservation without any explanation. The Worst customer service ever!!!!"

Pros: "The seats were comfortable."
Cons: "The flight was 2.5 hours late and during this time the crew instructed us to leave our seatbelts on and remain seated. The crew "didn't know" when were going to leave. No snacks were passed out during this flight or during the time we had to wait. The crew was hiding in the back of the plane giggling and gossiping about people which I found to be very rude. I could hear their whole conversation making my trip a terrible experience."

Cons: "Flight was delayed so we ended up arriving about 40 minutes late. Not enough leg room which ends up making lots of people grumpy."

Cons: "The aircraft smelled like the restroom due to the fact the aircraft came out of the hangar and the bathroom didn't get cleaned. This flight was delayed as well."

Pros: "Slow return of carry on at end of flight....crowded jetlway with so many waiting."

Cons: "Maybe pick a packet food that is more favoured by more people. The wasabi peas weren't a good choice for our family"

Cons: "The baggage claim took forever. Our flight actually disappeared from the tv screen and our luggage was not out. Finally after waiting about 20 minutes it popped back up on the screen and them arrived. This is the second time this has happened to me in Columbus and I don't fly there too often"

Pros: "The lady flight attendant as the best I have ever had. I think her name was Jan."

Pros: "Flight was delayed because they couldn't get their passenger count straight! 30 min delay just to leave the gate!"
Cons: "When we arrived 20 mins late and then no one was at the terminal gate to put sky walk in place! After 20 min wait we had to walk down the aircraft stairs outside and go thru a door and climb two flights of stairs just to get into the airport"

Pros: "Excellent service as usual, really enjoyed your free movies and shows on the seat screens of my flight a few weeks ago thought United had really upped their game."
Cons: "How olds a plane it still has ashtrays? There was a part of a seat under me and my arm rest was broken."

Pros: "Everything was smooth and senseless. And I liked kayak updated me which baggage terminal my bags were. Saved a lot of time walking around the Dulles terminal."

Pros: "I liked that I could do self check in and get my boarding pass without joining a long line. Had a great flight and no complaints."

Pros: "The trip itself was great. Even though I arrived at the airport 90 minutes before takeoff and was pre tickited and checked my bag curbside I almost missed my flight because of the long single line at security check and then my bag never got on the p!ane."
Cons: "The fact that I had to wait to get my bag until it came in on a later flight. I didn't receive my bag until 12:00 am"

Cons: "I did not care for the male flight attendant. Showed arrogance towards passengers."

Pros: "Arrived 20 minutes early!"

Cons: "Even with an over 3 hour layover in Texas we missed out connection and had to stay over night in Texas. Adding $400 to our trip with dinner and room. Only 4 desks of 60 open at passport control and only 3 desks open at customs. All to process 7000ish people. Our tax $ at work."

Cons: "Old seats are bad for my back and neck."

Cons: "Gate checked bags took 15 minutes to get back"

Cons: "Luggage was lost"

Cons: "Flight got cancelled due to no crew. No credit or refunds given for our 6 hour delay. And the crew was very rude on the flight we finally got to Columbus. Awful experience with United!!"
