Cons: "The air hostess made a big deal about using the restrooms on the front side of the plane by the cockpit even though she knew the food trolley was blocking the way to the restrooms on the rear end. They even made announcements about not standing in queue for the restrooms (note- there was no queue, I was waiting for my mother to find her back to the seat). Less than average hospitality."

Cons: "We were delayed, the boarding was ridiculous since half the flight boarded with "priority" and then another 1/4 boarded for their elite and first class, so the rest of us in the back had nowhere to put our things. My husband and I were separated even though I had picked my seats months prior. No seatback entertainment whatsoever for a 6 hour flight. I am disappointed--I hold Alaska to a much higher standard based on past experience."

It's painful to sit for long periods of time, let alone try to get some sleep. The girl in front of me adjusted in her seat and totally smacked me in the head when I was trying to lay my head on the table to give my poor back a break. Babies, a lot of babies, and dogs, not good for trying to catch some z's either."

Cons: "Boarding was delayed, disorganized and chaotic. Flight crew seemed to be overwhelmed and scattered. Ran out of hot meal about halfway through aircraft. When I expressed my disappointment, the F.A. said that there were a lot of wrestlers on board and they got all the food. I commented that it was poor planning and the FA stated that he didn't think anything would please me. He was argumentative and rude, IMO. He could have handled it better, eg: "So sorry. Out of our control, etc." To say that the food went to the wrestlers, and attitude gave me and those around me, the impression that he really didn't give a damn. Customer service training would be a good idea."

We went home without my bag. Thirty minutes after we were home, the bag attendant called and said they had my bag. We returned to the airport to pick it up because they could/would not guarantee that it would be delivered safely. The attendant said that it was there on another belt. NOT, because I actually checked before we left. Then, she didn't want to give us the Measly $50 voucher. Ugh, still upset a week later."

Cons: "Look every one experiances problems. It comes in the form of weather, mechanical or security issues that disrupt a flight in the form of delays. There is no surprise when this occurs. So when a three hour delay is thrust upon you and you have already given up your carry on and your assigned seats perhaps the recovery should have been less of a surprise. One pilot announcement, and offer of free loyalty points falls so short. No comp eat or drink coupons on the ground. Still got billed for food and wifi. Drinks were offered but ofcourse they ran out before the center of the AC was served. The recovery happens at the moment not in the next few days you will recieve an email with miles. Still haven't gotten any email after a week. I will fly anybody other then Alaska."

We were so grateful to get home before the winter storm! We appreciate your staff and the help their quick, efficient manner to get us on a new flight!"

Pros: "Having just exited the AeroMexico flight that came across as unprofessional, it was refreshing to get on a Delta flight. It was not really exceptional, but it met my expectations. The Delta agent on the telephone on the day before our flight WAS exceptional, as she tried valiantly to get us checked in to a flight that had been changed (by Aeromexico) several times. Delta was also exceptional in helping us retrieve our luggage after AeroMexico lost it."
Cons: "The noise by the engines in the back section on the Delta flight was rather unbelievable. As a physician, I think it was likely physically damaging to our hearing. If this interior aircraft noise can’t be avoided, I think earplugs should be offered to passengers in those seats."

Pros: "Delta always seems to have the most legroom between the seats - Even more than our transatlantic flight! The crew is always friendly and helpful, and nearly all our flights on Delta were on time or early."

Pros: "There was a blanket and pillow available on the seat and the arm rests (all of them) went up... I appreciated that when I had to move mid flight. The attendants were nice as always... they weren't stingy with the small free snack that is included with the flight. (Small bag of peanuts or pretzels) that I liked. Usually feel like it is an inconvenience to ask for more than one.... but they offered 2! I was very happy to hear that!!"

Pros: "I had paid for the Sky level as we were a party of long legged people. Out of the 4 flights we had taken, the best flight was the one from Hi to Atl. The seats, and leg space, was roomy. The food was good. The crew was just okay. They weren't particularly nice but rather abrupt. There were two mates that seems a bit confused. However, the plane was worth it."

Pros: "entertainment system included lots of good choices and free. Crew attentive and friendly. Fairly comfortable seating. Boarding was quick (with Delta Amex card). Several snack choices instead of just the old standby of pretzels."

Pros: "The pilot came through all of the aisles in first class to personally thank us for flying with them. He took time to chat with us and answer our questions, which made me feel more comfortable about the long flight. The stewards/stewardesses were very nice and had us laughing on their welcome messages. The lay-flat seats in first class were the best. Very comfortable, and easy to fall asleep in, without disruption from other passengers who insist on keeping their reading lights on while everyone is trying to sleep."

Cons: "To be fair the flight from Honolulu to Lihue was on Hawaiian Air, not Delta per se. The crew was rude, but in the terminal and on board. Didn't really rate food and entrainment because of the flight length."

Cons: "Plane was late. Took forever to inboard since they didn't prepare for a handicapped flyer. The plane sat on the runway and taxied for over an hour and the flight crew never gave any updates to the passengers."

Pros: "The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on."
Cons: "We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future."

Cons: "Throughout the boarding process, my spouse and I had a seat and pre-check, until we got to the airport and we were told they don't know why, but our pre-check was "dropped" so we needed to be rechecked in. What wasn't told to us was we would lose our seats and be put on the bottom of a waiting list. We were able to board bc other passengers did not show up, however we no longer had our seat preference, so I had a middle seat, although I'm a service member with a left knee issue so my seat needs to be an isle one. Also, there were no food choices that did not account for my allergy."

Cons: "I arrived at HNL nearly 2 hours before my flight. The check-in procedures at HNL were very poor. There were not enough operating machines to help passengers check-in. In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time."

Cons: "Agent at gate said overhead compartments were all full and no more room for any bag. So I had to check in my carry on luggage . To my surprise, there had many open space when I walked in the plane. The worst thing was my brand new suitcase was torn. I told the luggage agent the incident and she said they had no liability what so ever."

I informed a stewardess and she apologized for the inconvenience and did her best to duct tape it shut (twice). It's an old plane, I would not recommend for a flight more than 2 hours. Wasn't greeted at boarding. Had to interrupt staff to ask which side of plane I should walk down to get to my seat. I paid extra for 12th row - waste of money!"

Pros: "Limited overhead bag storage. Gates changed to more crowded area. Felt like we were being herded onto the plane. Hurry up, etc. clear the aisles that sort of thing."

Cons: "Got to the airline to a 50+ people line where people were checking in flights and baggage. My boarding pass didn't print so I was put in a main customer service line where I was 5th from the front. It took the two agents 35 minutes to get to me...which seems way to long. Employees seem irritable and unfriendly, non helpful attitude. Plane does not have entertainment unless you purchase tablet on a 6 hour flight. No meal service.. Each time I fly American it feels like an inconvience."

Cons: "I missed my flight because on the kayak app it said my flight left at 8:20 am and even said it was on time. When I got there it left at 7:20 instead and so I missed it.. You need to make sure it says the correct time on your app.. I ended up catching another flight to Seattle and spent the night in the airport and got to salt lake a day later. My family is out of state and it screwed all of our schedules up."

Cons: "Flight was delayed, first because we had to wait forever for fuel. It was really hot on the plane while we waited. It would have been better to wait for the plane to be fueled, or at least started fueling, before boarding. Then we sat and waited in the backed up line for takeoff. It was miserably hot."

Cons: "This is just a poor airline. They are always late or cancelling flights, their people put on a show of caring, but are just trying to move problems further down the line so they don't have to deal with them. I will avoid flying with American Airlines in the future. They have to be one of the worst."

Pros: "Our flight home was Great. At kona airport the flight crew was Amazing, the captain even let my daughter set in the driver seat, which is something she will never forget."
Cons: "Downside there was no onboard t.v.s which makes 4 hours seem long."

Cons: "The plane had mechanical issues. they flew the plane that had mechanical issues to a Honolulu. spent eight hours in a Honolulu. had to catch a redeye to San Francisco. 12 hour layover caused us to have to pay for a rental car to get to our final destination Of Reno. I would hope that there would be some sort of compensation."

Pros: "flight attendants were outstanding and very nice. Pilot was great as well and even thought we were delayed in Houston for a fuel sensor for 45 mins. He was still able to get us into Pittsburgh at a decent time. Was very happy with this flight."
Cons: "needed more leg room."

Cons: "The seats were so uncomfortable. My neck and lower back hurt afterwards. I do not recommend taking an overnight flight with united or do not expect to sleep if you do."

Cons: "The plane was delayed incoming. Then boarding was interminably long because of overbooking and no overhead room for luggage. It took precious time to load passengers 1 group at a time while bags were checked. Once airborne I saw I only had 10 minutes or less to make my connection in Newark, which I inevitably missed. Poorly scheduled. Many passengers missed connections. It would have been much quicker and easier to advise passengers to check bags at the gate BEFORE the plane arrived knowing it was overbooked. I'm very disappointed in how the entire boarding was handled given the time constraints."

Cons: "Twelve hours before the flight and they already knew that the flight would be delayed due to the inbound plane being later. One flight earlier in the day caused a delay for the rest of the day. So, our flight was three hours late in boarding, putting us into the final destination at 2:15 AM. Not cool, especially when travelling with children."

Cons: "do not see how the process is helped at all with those "lines or zones" Still seems like people get clogged up and takes too long to get boarded."

Pros: "Got to travel JetBlue for the first time which demonstrated the way an airline should treat its passengers."
Cons: "Never got on the United flight as United's inefficiency AGAIN caused significant delays! Still awaiting the reimbursement (or even communication) I was promised."

Pros: "the crew on the plane was pleasant and helpful. the pilot was very nice as well with made the flight smooth and delightful"
Cons: "we were not able to check in at the kiosk, it was saying that we need further assistance but wasn't giving any reason, nobody could help us with it. we were directed to different stands 3 times were people would just tell us they don't know what to do. the lines everywhere were extremely long with only 1 person working, the lady came up to the line at some point and stating assisting people in line starting from the back end of the line. That was very frustrating. she finally got to us, asked us to come up to the kiosk with her, wasn't been able to help us and then put us back in the end of the line! The lady who was able to help us in the end just said "it was just disconnected." I have no idea what it means but considering that on our way in we had to be on "standby" because the flight was overbooked. the total impressing from United is very poor."

Cons: "Broken Restrooms"

Pros: "The pilot was great. The smoothest take off and landing on the San Fran to Pittsburgh flight"

Cons: "The biggest problem I had was that the gate was changed and I wasn't notified. So I had to go from Concourse A to C, then back to A. Thankfully, I gave myself plenty of time and everyone was helpful."

Pros: "1st time flying United and was truly impressed. They were timely and friendly. I might have just found my new favorite airline."

I will make sure that I never book on the CRJ700 flight to Houston again if I can avoid it!"

Cons: "Good -- but my flight from Pittsburgh to STL was not so good. My flight was delayed HOURS. I was supposed to get to my destination by 10pm. I did not get there until 1am. I was so so tired and cold sitting in the airport. I felt like we would never leave. That was definitely a disappointment."

Cons: "I paid extra money for a better seat and it was crowded and uncomfortable. When I walked back there were plenty of more comfortable seats empty!!! I wasted $80!!!"

Cons: "Flight got cancelled after being delayed for over 2 hours for mechanical issues. Gate agent was not overwhelmingly helpful or understanding to people's frustrations during the delay and didn't go out of her way to try to help. Customer Service was helpful and able to rebook and provide overnight hotel accommodations, but it was a very slow process that clearly frustrated some customers even more. Clearly not anyone's fault, but still frustrating and not a great flying experience."

Pros: "Some movies to choose from, plenty of good action and drama choices."

Cons: "We were diverted from Pittsburgh because of fog. Other flights landed shortly thereafter from other airlines which was frustrating, but a short delay did not ruin the day. We landed instead at Dulles. After sitting and waiting for hours we were finally all put back on the plane. Then we taxied out before the pilot told us they were over their hours or something along those lines and couldn't submit the paperwork necessary to take off. We went back to the gate and were told to wait some more in case there were more pilots. No more pilots came. No more flights were available. Instead we all hovered either around the gate desk or the customer service desk where we were told we couldn't be helped. We were instead forced to pile onto buses nearly 5 hours after we had landed at the wrong airport. We then spent another 6 hours on the road driving to Pittsburgh on a bus that was crowded and hot because the air conditioning kept failing. Because of some fog and a lot of incompetence, I arrived in Pittsburgh over 12 hours after I was supposed to. My trip in total lasted 20 hours from my flight in Seattle taking off. I missed an important event for the wedding that weekend, which was upsetting given the distance I had to travel and the amount of extra time I had scheduled in for myself, but the way we were treated was worse. There was no positive communication. Nobody knew anything. We were clearly an inconvenience that nobody knew what to do with so they just kept trying to push us off to the next person. It was infuriating and unacceptable I will never fly United again if I can possibly help it."

Pros: "We didn't have those annoying corrals of groups and we were called by our groups so it made the boarding VERY easy and civilized."
Cons: "I suggest on these surveys to have a Non-applicable section for food/entertainment as many of the flights don't offer these."

Cons: "This flight never happened it continued to get canceled and canceled!!"

Cons: "My brother accidentally left his passport, ring and chain inside the plain which was very expensive and he called after he noticed he didn't have it with him. He left it inside of the pocket holder of the seat on the plain where the magazine are. He called and was told nothing was there. On our way back home, the flight was delayed 3 1/2 hours behinds. At no moment did the co pilot excused himself nor did he apologized for the the delay. We deserved at least a free meal or some kind of compensation. Instead, the pilot and flight attendants just told us to rich it because we had to leave to L.A! We (8) family members came and this includes an elderly person (my mother who has been fighting cancer for about 2 years, along with diabetes) came to see her grandaughter get married. Now they were rushing her as well? Uncalled for. Now my other brother and his family which was a party of 10 on another flight, also flew to Hawaii. Now that alone tells you how much money was spent. The stay in Hawaii was amazing! We would visit again but the way we were treated on this airline, I don't think we would fly again and choose this airline. To be honest, not even recommend it. I'm ashamed to let others know such as friends and co workers know of this airline's service. To top it off one flight attendant was very rude! She saw us when she handed the other passengers pretzels and skipped my mother, my sister and I. I asked her nicely if we may have some and told her she had skipped us. She said, "I did?" Came back with 6 bags of thenm and was like, "Here!" Like shoving them to me. I felt humiliated! I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarrass her. But it was extremely rude!!! I read some reviews and I guess it's normal on your end to be the way you treat your customers. We even asked before abording from Hawaii to L.A, what can you do to make up for all this and we were told, "nothing could". So ashamed."

Cons: "Nothing. Every thing was great. The best flight attendants I had in a long time."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "There was no wifi no entertainment!!!!!!! This was a later flight that I had to be on and they showed no effort of making anyone feel comfortable even though we were on a late flight!!! Never booking united again!!!!!"

Cons: "We were in the last row and was very noisey. The stewards talked and laughed which made it difficult to rest."

Pros: "no food in first class that what I get for 5hours in texas with out my O2"

Pros: "The booking was last minute so I paid a lot for the ticket but it was a good flight. Thanks."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for 3 hours due to a light malfunction."
