Pros: The crew was attentive and helpful.
Cons: Our layover was originally supposed to be an hour and a half in Phoenix. As we were boarding the plane from Austin to Phoenix, we got a notification that our layover had been delayed an additional 5 hours due to construction at SFO. I’d have appreciated more of a heads up than as I’m boarding.
Pros: I like getting out of the airport and vowing to never fly Spirit again.
Cons: Spirit's computer system had an "error" which marked me as a security risk. I had to go through intensive security screening TWICE. I was given a hand written ticket that was not honored at the gate stating their computer error has blocked me from flying. With this status I was unable to take my flight or rebook one. Luckily I got a full refund. Definately not worth the hassle and airport drama I will NEVER fly this airline again. I feel sorry for their employees who have to deal with such a shitty system.
Pros: I was in the middle seat and there was an overweight man sitting next to me and he was practically sitting on my lap. It was very uncomfortable. You didn't lose my luggage this time so that was a plus. The plane ride was miserable because this man.
Pros: The ground crew were very courteous but I feel they were not being completely honest regarding the delays. It felt like we were being given false hope that the flight was taking off soon.
Cons: We were boarded thinking we were taking off soon. Except the delay continued for another hour and a half I found out. I had exited the plane having been given the option of staying in Gainesville in a hotel provided by the airline and being booked on a flight the next day.
Cons: Was not allowed to get on slightly early with a car seat and a 3 year old to get situated in the seats, though on every other flight we have been allowed to. There was a delay that caused us to miss our connecting flight.
Pros: Confort was minor but ok
Cons: The flight was not on time. The staff broke my carry-on zip for expansion and refuse to admit it was a suitcase damage which need to be repair. They said put a belt around it to use it !!!! It is a 1 year new piece of luggage from Delsey which is a very good quality brand and expensive!!!!!!
Pros: I was traveling with my mother who is handicap. The staff did so much to really help her. Although, the staff did everything and I mean everything to help us. TSA was an issue. Plus there was an language barrier.
Cons: The assistant that they gave us was communicating with the TSA officer in Spanish who did not speak any English. The problem was she was over 75 and she does not have to remove her shoes. Instead of explaining to her what was going on she just took her shoes, which made my mother upset mad.
