Cons: "I upgraded to 1st class for both flights but the plane seating was very dismal and hadn't been upgraded in either of these planes for a long time. After we boarded the plane we were told that no drink, snacks or food would be offered. The attendant shut off the lights as soon as we got in the air and kept it dark in the cabin until 10 minutes before we landed. She never came around to check on us once or ask if we needed anything. I was so thirsty when we landed. I have decided that I will either go back to United Airlines or check out the 1st class options at American Airlines better next time. This might not have been their fault, I'm not sure what it was, but the flight was late landing and we took off an hour late as well which really put me behind schedule."

She came back with a checked bag ticket, this bag could have fit under the seat. We would have preferred not to check the bag because it had everything in it we needed access to like medication, ear buds, book, tablet, it also contained my Jewlery and various other things. The lady was extremely rude when I told her I prefer not to check the bag, she said we could take everything out of the bag we needed but that would have been 70 % of what was in the bag, where was I supposed to put all this stuff? My small purse was already full. my husband was upset at her treatment and said something to her and she told us we where welcome to book another flight. I paid a hell of a lot of money on this flight alone plus upgraded our seats with extra legroom. Once on the plane the seating was so crammed, uncomfortable and no legroom. My seat reclined but my husbands did not. I will never fly American Airlines again."

The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."

Literally the saying goes "it costs peanuts" I mean a few peanuts! For crying out loud you have to pay for peanuts! In my humble option a few very low cost items could improve this airline... they should make those changes effective immediately if they want to see higher reviews."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed 2 hours leaving San Francisco going to Orlando. My mother checked a bag which cost $35. The ticketing agent picked up her bag and slammed it down on the conveyor belt. I was so shocked at the rough handling of my mothers belongings and the fact that the agent didn't give a care. My sister and I were charged $45 each for our carry-on bags. They began boarding us but the flight crew made us wait on the walkway to the plane for 15 minutes before they let us on the plane. The flight crew was rude and disorganized. The seats did not recline, next no padding and the chair back in front had no padding at all. There were no complimentary drinks or food provided on the 5 hr flight. We were threatened by the passenger behind us twice but no assistance was given by the flight crew. We are extremely disappointed and will never fly Frontier again. We should have paid the extra money to fly Delta from TPA which would have taken 2 hours off of our drive time. We visited Frontier's website which provides nothing but excuses for why they charge extra for EVERYTHING. Overall Frontier may have some of the cheaper flights but after you're done paying for the extras you may as well fly with a carrier that provides more comfort and better service. Frontier has lost our business."

Cons: "This was my return flight on Frontier and although not as bad as my first still pretty horrible. Upon arriving at the COS airport we were greeted by...no one at check in. We were told they were on "lunch" and we couldn't drop our bags until they finished. There was at least 15 people waiting on Frontier reps to show up and check us in. After that time suck flight was delayed again. Plane was filthy. After looking over the total for the flight it really doesn't save you any money after all the extra fees and poor service. I'll pay more to fly on an airline that shows up."
Cons: "Showed up to the airport in New Orleans to find out my flight was canceled, but had to be told by people from another airline because the Frontier desk was vacant. Received no email, phone call, text or anything to tell me the flight was canceled. Not even one Frontier employee was at the airport to explain the situation. They just left a stack of papers to say the flight was canceled and they weren't offering anymore flights that day. Had to book one on another airline for the next day, so called Frontier to get reimbursed (they said very clearly on the paper that they would reimburse up to $400 in another airline) and spent over two hours on the phone getting passed around from person to person who said they couldn't help me. Still no idea if I'll be getting reimbursed. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE."
Pros: "Arrived at airport at 940 pm which was great because we were early but didn't get off the plane until almost 12am due to an airplane being worked on at our parking gate and also had to wait for local sheriffs office to board the plane to escort a lady off the plane when we finally did park and during that time the flight attendants were yelling at the paying customers because they had their phones out. One flight attendant even smacked a phone out of someone's hands! Will take a miracle to get me and my family to ever fly frontier again. Worse flight experience ever."

Preceded to runway, de-iced, no announcement. ( my seat mate , southerner hadn't known what was happening). Servive and attitude was definitely a 1 and pilots were first off plane. This was on top of our Orlando to Denver flight that was delayed 8 hours with no weather related cause. We had to rebook on another airline. Frontier said, every flight is only a 50% chance of on time departure!!!! Way too much for 79 year olds. We are an airline family so recognize the "care less" attitude. Never Frontier again."

I restarted phone and everything. I had to check in at airport with no bags. When I arrived, there WAS NO ONE at check in desk. I was standing at empty security checkpoint and I could see my gate. The frontier employees were at gate early and never came to assist me. I waited for an hour until my flight left. You can imagine how furious I was- ridiculous for me to have this kind of experience. Thankfully united airlines got me on plane. Never flying frontier again."

I didn't like that when I called customer service I was instructed to do the wrong thing and fill out the wrong form. Overall this has been a horrible experience and I will be tell everyone I know and even people I don't know via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and snap chat about my experience . I was flying by myself so I didn't care, but they wanted 25/seat to sit in the middle of the plane per person. I have a family of 7 (5 kids 8 and under) and had we been flying together that would have been a surprise round trip expense of $250 for seats and probably $400-500 in baggage. I would have been very upset. You pay for soft/juice drinks and small snacks. The 'free' water I asked for/received didn't have ice. I assume that was extra, but I wouldn't know b/c the lady who gave it to me was off before I could even ask. I was starting to think they were going to make me pay for a seat belt. I have recently booked another flight to Arizona on frontier before I left on this one and I am already dreading that flight. I will not be going on Frontier again nor recommend it to anyone else."

The seats, the screaming kids, and the especially the kid that the parent did not have in control and was running down the isle when we were in landing position, the captain sitting in front of my other half looked at him and told him to go sit down, my colleague say next to them the parent did not have him buckled up because he said he did not like it! Needless to say my friend was all flipped out after we landed! We had to calm him down! Oh well."

She was pissy when I asked for gin, because she had to go look for it. She was agrivated when I asked if I had to buy the mixer separate, as it was my very first time on frontier. They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier. Even though I wanted to avoid all of lines to check in (only carry on bag) but all kiosk where out of service which why the lines where so long...the snide remarks and rude comments were not appreciated especially in front of other patrons, thank God another agent to assist me after the line agent moved me another customer up due to our flights."
Cons: "I was helping my mother - in - law check in and board - she needed wheel chair assistance. We were in line to drop off a bag that we had checked in online an hour before the flight. There were 5 people in the line with only 2 reps helping. Since I hadn't printed the boarding pass, I tried to print the pass at the self-help kiosks getting the message that I needed to see an agent. The cut-off for checked in baggage is 45 mins before the flight, however the reps were making no effort to expedite the service. In 15 mins they had helped 2 people making us the 3rd in line and the line had grown to an additional 5-6 people behind us. 45 mins before the flight they refused to take in any bags for checking - in. Since I was able to take the checked in bag with me, I asked that the agent print the boarding pass for my mother in law and call for wheel chair assistance. The agent called for wheel chair assistance but refused to print the boarding pass! The one thing that the ticketing / check in agent should be able to do is to print a boarding pass for a reservation that is fully paid. Because of this my mother in law had to miss her flight and we paid an additional $99 to get onto the next flight. I was so taken aback when the agent refused to print the boarding pass, that I did not even know how to convince her to do her job. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with any airline!"

Could have made snacks and non alc drinks free. NO NO NO. We had to pay another $11 for water, apple juice, food and GL of wine. SERIOUSLY. WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT??? Missed several opportunities for "Little things that count". Give all $300 to one of us for a free ticket-we won't be flying with our grandson again. I will give you a chance to fix that. Not a threat a promise."

I finally went in to talk to them and they got on the phone and the luggage came up in about ten minutes. Seemed like it was nothing more than someone having gone on break and flaked on getting our luggage up and two lazy baggage employees who couldn't be bothered to look into it."

I think the zones could be broken up better and should be so that apart from the benefit of boarding early, the rest of the paying passengers don’t have to wait for long periods of time to board, our satisfaction should matter too. Then after 3 hours finally talked to someone at customer service and got switched to another flight. After that was told that the ticketing counter would give us a hotel voucher since the flight was leaving the next morning and the supervisor said we could get a voucher because she wasn’t the one who helped!!! HORRIBLE!!!"
Cons: "there was a flight delay but it was not announced, no email was sent out and there was no one at the gate. Even the departure list screen said on time until 3:30 (flight was at 4). I'm highly upset not about the delay but the lack of communication. They left us all confused."

Jostled by the crowd trying to get to baggage claim, I took the Corner staying close to the wall, hooked a foot in the wheel chair and started to go flying but managed to stay upright."

Cons: "Reason's why I rated each category poor: Overall - see below categories Boarding - We were told that our bags did not count as personal items, and we had to either pay $130 to carry on two bags or throw them away. Basically, "Have a nice trip, let me start by robbing you." Crew - During the flight, I used the on-flight lavatory. As is normal in most flights, there's no space between the last row of passengers and the mini-room at the back of the plane. To keep from putting my rear in another passenger's face, I stepped into the mini-room until the stewardess commanded that I wait behind the "silver line." Sorry other passenger. At the least be courteous about your command with me and/or the passenger who had to sit in the rear (pun intended). Comfort - No seat back storage, and the flight was as cold as is bearable for the average person. Food & Entertainment - None available. Upon asking for water, we were instead offered ice."

Now I have to wait 15 hours to get to Orlando! Never again and never recommend spirit!"

Cons: "Let's just say my spirit wasn't lifted by Spirit Air. I remember that we had a terrible landing on a cloudless sunny day. Pilots seemed inexperienced. A $55 carry on fee seems excessive and makes me not want to fly again. I take two business trips a month and have flown almost every airline in Europe but this was my worst flight in ages."

The seats don't recline and there was no wings on headrest so when you looked around everyone had their head against the seat in front if they had to sleep, I had to do the same. If you wanted anything to drink including water there was a fee so I just flew thirsty. fair was unavailable by the time I was trying to pay and that upped me another $50."

Cons: "The flight took off late. We arrived back late. The baggage claim took almost an hour to get my bag. To check one small bag cost an unreasonable $52. The bag drop line took too long as well."
Cons: "website is set up so that it is difficult to include luggage and other add-ons and you have to get them after you have a reservation costing you an even higher rate. At check in on our return we were told that there is no guarantee of our reservation unless we purchased a seat location. Minor detail - the pilot didn't show up for our flight causing significant delay. Next time if no other airline is available we will take a bus."

Cons: "Check-in at kiosk not intuitive (nice person helped). What's "buy" a bag? I bought a bag from Samsonite; Spirit is just charging a fee to carry it. All hard surfaces inside the aircraft, so sound wasn't dampened--so noisy it was unpleasant; squalling baby noise seemed to reverberate through the cabin. Flight scheduled at lunchtime, but the closest thing to decent food on board was a bag of nuts. Didn't know it was possible to call something so little a "tray table", or a bungee cord a "seat pocket". It was an Airbus, so made weird sounds--luggage bins vibrated so badly during descent that people put their hands up to try to stop the shaking."
