Although we ended up being stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to take off due to high volume, weather and as the pilot put it, "possible military activity" the crew kept us informed every step of the way. There was one flight attendant in particular who was so full of energy and made the unfortunate circumstances not so bad. She entertained us and kept us in the loop the entire time as did the pilots. It made the 2 hours not feel so bad which was appreciated.

That we were delayed on the plane for two hours on a small plane but I know it was out of their control.

The flight was very smooth and the landing also was very good. The selection of movie are plenty.

The flight attendants were very kind and hoped to make up for the pilot’s negligence.

Boarding was weird with a lack of overhead bins and then the pilot was inconsistent with updates to safety issues. We were delayed by an hour and twenty mins and then had to wait on the tarmac for another plane to leave the gate. Feels like I wasted two hours in limbo.

Had to deplane cause your pilot exceeded his flying hours. Can be easily avoided if you have better management and not cutting things so close.

Flight from PHL to PORTLAND delayed 3.5 hrs due to weather... ok that’s a safety thing. But then the pilots couldn’t fly us to Portland due to shift restrictions. Told us they had to stop in BOISE for fresh pilots and no one was leaving the plane. Got there and they made everyone get off the plane and take their belongings with them. Meanwhile since we already missed our connecting flight from Portland to Bellingham they rescheduled us from Portland to SEATTLE to Bellingham later that night but while stopped in Boise we managed to get on a flight directly to Seattle and our son picked us up there instead of Bellingham. We were told our checked bags would go to their tagged destination so we drove to Bellingham to collect them. Not so. Luggage is missing.

Very friendly agents from boarding to in-flight. Everyone was helpful and kind.

The festive yet relaxing lighting during boatding, the great in flight movies, the friendly helpful staff, our generous legroom, the comfier than usual seats, the food ordering system.

The food quality could be improved with some more organic options.

No power plugs in a 4h+ flight is not acceptable. That should be standard for every passengers. Unclean seats. General abrasiveness from some of the staff.

I find Air Canada is often delayed and this flight was no exception. We took off two hours later than our scheduled departure.

Everything was perfect on the flight. The service, the food and the crew.

Seats are a bit small. Not very comfortable and touch screen of entertainment system was slow.

The stewardess was top-notch, professional and friendly

Flight crew from Geneva was nice

The pilot held the Geneva flight for 35 minutes for late arriving inbound passengers. This helped them but hurt far more passengers connecting in Washington DC. We missed our flight and waited in standby mode all evening for a Denver flight.

The ease of boarding the plane.

I did not like that the gate changed and we were not notified by the gate operators, but we did receive a text message 20 minutes after the gate was changed.

Although there were a lot of passengers on this flight, the crew was able to get everyone on the plane in an efficient manner.

We were delayed about 2 and a half hours because of the weather in Denver. I was not comfortable at all in my seat because the passenger beside me had his knee and elbow all in my personal space. I asked an attendant if it was okay for me to move and she stated that it was okay, but United switched a lot of passengers flights around so there wouldn't be any empty seats. I was stuck beside the man, all hanging out of my seat, because there wasn't an open seat available. Thank goodness the flight was only 2 hours long. Overall my experience with United was terrible and I will not be flying with them anymore.

Entertainment system was good and seats were comfortable

Boarding was confusing because there were few or no announcements of which zone was boarding, and it wasn't clear exactly which desk to proceed to for boarding

Connections to US destinations now require your checked in baggage to be processed before you can proceed to your connecting flights. The real problem is that this is no sign or communications describing this. Everyone is simply stopped in the corridor and told that they cannot proceed farther until their name comes up green on a monitor. Unfortunately the monitor switches displays so frequently that it is almost impossible to read. In addition to that it seems names do not always appear on the monitor unless you get your boarding pass scanned a the desk (this is not communicated to you unless you ask why your name is not on the monitor at all). People late for connecting flights (because of inbound flight delays) are required to wait without explanation sometimes needlessly if they don't have a checked bag. A nightmare if you're trying to make your connection. In addition once you've cleared that hurdle you need to go through security again (something we were unprepared for since we were already in the secure area. You then proceed to customs and then your connecting flight (if you haven't already missed it by then). Allow lots of time to get to your connecting flight, and ask to get you boarding pass scanned at that mysterious "checked bag" stop in the corridor.

For the second time I traveled with Air Canada there was a delay and no plane in Toronto to make the connection. I will not be traveling with Air Canada ever again
