Overall its fine, but I've been lowering my bar for what to expect over the years. What I look forward to most is the crew. Alaska's flight crews are the best. I compare every other airline I fly to yours. Ok, so now lets discuss the plane and amenities: One of the bathroom sinks was inoperable. The crew did the right thing by putting hand sanitizer there. On food - there really isn't any food on these flights unless you pre-buy it and I missed the window, so I ate some garbage in DFW's Terminal E. Let's face it - terminal food in most airports is just junk, so not your fault. The only snack we got on our flight was a bag of salty, cinnamon flavored pretzels. I ate mine, because I was hungry, but really felt like it was a waste of calories. Entertainment options aren't as good as they used to be. I guess Hollywood, Netflix and HBO just aren't creating content like they used to, or we watched everything during COVID and can't be satisfied anymore. I partially finished a number of different shows, ranging from stand up comedians, movies, tv series and foreign films trying to find something. In the end, I could see why nearly everyone around me was brain rotting on Instagram, so I zoned out listening to my favorite playlist and plinked away at email. I see you next month!
Boarded us on a plane that had ongoing maintenance and it was 105 degrees out. Sat in the cooking heat for an hour before taking off. WiFi didn’t work over half the flight so I couldn’t get any work done
No issues at all other than the seats. Of all the airlines I've flown on in my life (this was my first with Alaska Airlines), these were significantly the most uncomfortable seats I've had - more so than Spirit Airlines. I'm a relatively young guy and mostly fit but oof, i was aching in muscles I didn't even know I had. Not sure if the seats are standard for the plane (if it even works like that) or if the choice to use cardboard as cushion and 90 degree angle back rests was a decision, but it wouldn't honestly make me think twice about flying with them again. Other than that - perfect flight. It was quick, crew was nice, ride was smooth so all things considered I appreciate the last minute availability offered after a sudden relocation on my part.
The flight itself was okay, but there were 2 screaming kids in front of me my entire flight which made it just awful. The parent did zero to try and make the children settle down and flight attendants did nothing either. I understand it's hard to travel with children, but constantly yelling, screaming, or loud talking for 4 hours straight is just ridiculous.
The crew on my return flight was empathetic to the fact I had probably the worst seat in the plane. Middle seat, last row next to the restrooms. They were sweet and helpful.
Good flight times going to and from Alaska. But for some reason, there were no empty seats showing when I checked in except for first class and the exit row, so had to pay extra for the upgrade. I changed it at the airport, but now have to call them for a refund.
It was nice. Very comfortable. The only thing is that they kept changing my seat. That was very annoying and confusing!
Check in was easy the people were really nice and willing to help the flight crew was helpful and courteous seats comfortable flights on time
My only comment was the confusion at Houston. Suppose to leave at 6 am and didn't leave til 11 am. Then moving from gate 10 to 30 and couple of hours later back to gate 10. Otherwise everyone everything was great.
I liked how I didn’t have to squeeze myself over seat flying at night
It was delayed over an hour and a lot of announcements disrupting movie.
Delta has joint the nickel and diming airlines. The experience is getting worst by the day. 1,000,000 miles for a trip to Asia in Business Class where I got the same thing for just under 90,000 miles through an Asian airline. Where is Richard Anderson? Please come back!
Everything went smooth from check in, thru TSA, then boarding, and a smooth flight to ATL.
I had an extensive delay on my previous flight and we had another delay due to the crew not being there. We were scheduled to have a late arrival but due to the delay it was even longer.
overall the crew onboarding and providing service during our flight was great; they were friendly and helpful. I said ok to the entertainment because there was none, but the crew explained why which was very helpful. I am a diabetic and the type of snacks are not diabetic friendly (full of carbs and sugar). However, I am always prepared because I know the catering is for the larger population.
No tv. No free wifi. They need to ipgrade these planes - especially on a 2 hour flight.
Flight was 2 hr. delay, making me miss my connection to my final flight home to Roanoke. Now 12:38am in the morning and I just got the first available ticket at 5:30 pm tomorrow evening. Sleeping in the airport.
bulkhead seat had very little legroom - even in bsiness class.
I didn't take this flight. I changed the flight. Why am I getting surveys and notifications on flights that I change. Seems like a defect with Kayak.
I loved having a most black flight crew during Black History Month; rather by design or accident I appreciated the representation. ❤️
It was partially ok .. not anything like from Orlando to Houston... first the flight attendant was not so nice and insisted on have a small backpack down when really was not to put in danger anyone, also the beverages they were not so good... not big chance to select other tea.. the seat was partially ok could not have those flips to hold your head.. and finally when it land off in Guadalajara, it was raining and the flight was going to the main area then go back and drop us out of nowhere with the rain.
Really old place. Not as clean as it should be, tray tables needed better cleaning. The items, trays and some other items need to b6 engineered. Anything task you or crew may do is incredibly load, seriously engineer for quiet smooth, easy. Just opening and closing the tray table is actually dangerous and can easily injure a finger. I'm sure it happens as it happened to me! First time I used United and likely will be the last!
I felt scammed. The priced advertised was different than what I paid. I paid the whole some online. I then got a call 20 minutes later saying I need to paid 70 more person. She said the price online is not the guaranteed price.
the delay for 3 hours was understandable due to weather conditions but the flight should’ve provided some on flight compensations or at least provide more food.
Boarding experience was smooth. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. Entertainment system on the Houston-Edmonton flight did not function for passengers on the left side of the aisle. On the bird's eye flight from Quito to Houston, they should not serve a meal. No one needs to eat after midnight and it is disturbing for those passengers trying to sleep.
My suitcase was completed destroyed. The top part is broken and unusable now.
All male crew was just too woke for me. I felt like a sardine. I will never take a window seat or the rearmost seat again. I booked early and did not pay for seat selection and that was a mistake. The security at IAH was atrocious. I was violated and radiated as I was in a hurry to connect to my other flight. I may have lost items under the seat in front of me that I couldn't see nor bend over to look.
In general ok, my only issue is that they had no hot items for purchase. I had very little time in my connection due to baggage/customs/TSA, thag I barely even had a chance for a stop at the washroom and buy water, to make it to my gate when they started boarding. I had nothing to eat because the trip started early, so I was ready to purchase, and they had nothing except for dry items like snacks. I had to purchase a mediocre, overpriced cheese and fruit board, instead of at least a pizza or sliders that I was planning on getting. Other than that, it was fine. But that’s typical Air Canada, to not have enough.
Flight was great my baggage was on time everywhere but my bags had been handled ruff cause they got damaged.
Knowing more clearly if I’m getting an air Canada or United flight. And ability to move tix dates even at this price point. My dad is sick and I wanted to extend my trip a couple of days but I was prohibited and fare was pretty expensive as is.
It was ok. Jet was ok but it lacked many convinces we have experienced on other airlines such as in seat entertainment. Space seamed more compact than other airlines. They did not provide the gate to gate assistance we arranged for for our mom who needed a wheel chair.
Due to delays at SFO, my WestJet light missed its connecting WestJet flight. If they had held the plane in Calgary for 15 minutes, 2 families with children would not have been stranded in Calgary for more than 24 hours. I understand the need to be on-time, but when it is the same company, you would think they could make a phone call. Or maybe they could go to a higher altitude to make up for lost time? Instead of attempting to put us on another flight, they rescheduled us for the same connecting flight 24 hours later. We then had to scramble to find a hotel, which they state that they were not responsible for since the delay was not their fault and therefore became an additional out of pocket expense for us. The customer service is severely lacking here at this company. They also mentioned that if we purchased our tickets through a 3rd party site (Kayak) versus WestJet directly, that they couldn't help us. Seriously?? Additionally, we lost 2 days of travel and missed out on tours and taxis that were pre-booked. I will not be using WestJet again,
This airline would not refund my money and I had a physician note that I could not fly. They are crooks
Westjet was late and we missed our connecting flight with Cathay. Had to wait 8 hours. Westjet only allows 1 checked in baggage for international flights- it’s always been 2. Canada allows only 1 sandwhich bag size full off small liquids. Everything else will be tossed. Awful trip. Will never fly west jet or go to Toronto to connect flights!
No pre boarding kiosk to check in, baggage claim detected luggage didn’t leave the airport, poorly managed recovery of lost luggage, and blame lost tag from conveyor to TSA/security, very poor from TSA/security check to delivery, crucial if compensation will go thru and will likely wait for months unlike United,

Those flights were operated by Delta Airlines.. one of the reasons I booked them thru Expedia, even if the tickets are sold by WestJet. Service on board is good with Delta, but don't expect much snacks on inland flights in the US or to Canada. Their entertainment system was modernized, but not much new movies in the catalog.. Free Wi-Fi for Skymiles member aboard.
I understand that delays may be inevitable; however, the airline did absolutely nothing to reassure us during our flight. There were no apologies for the delay and business resumed as usual. A little compassion should have been garnered for our almost 4 hpur delay.

There should be a visible sign of Air Canada, because I walked all around and I didn't notice where was the desk, I was in a rush for the time because it was very difficult for me to find the D gate.
Flight was overbooked and seats assigned to multiple passengers. Delay 1 hour to sort out.
I was forcefully re-routed to another destination and was delayed a total of 8hours. I have still not received my bags, no one is taking responsibility. The agents at the airport lied to me that I will get to my destination same time as my previous flight where I was forcefully re-routed from.
Flight was fine. Arrived on time. More room in the seats would be nice, but not something that is likely to happen.
Overall very positive. First time flying Air Canada. Only 50 minutes for transfer in Montreal. Made my gate only because I ran the whole way for my international travel. Told I would make boarding when I checkedin in Houston. If I was older I would have missed my flight.
The food was horrible the flying attendance hardly made any checks and the seats were very tied ..
last minute was rebooked. This rebooking made me miss my connection, added a stop in my itinerary without my approval, and had me arriving 10 hours later to my destination...for a delay that was 2 hours. To boot, my final flight from London to Athens booked me in a middle seat, where I originally booked all aisle seats. This was incredibly uncomfortable for a 24 hour journey and made me incredibly upset.
They changed our seats on us and ended up giving us the last row in Business class. We added wheel chair service and did not get it at any of the airports. My mom had to walk everywhere which was just unbelievable that they didn't provide this service. Just terrible
It was fine, everything on time! Tired of having to pay for all the extras?
First time flew with Air Canada and my Last. Really bad food that too in a business class. Waste of my money.
