Check in agent in Budapest was terribly rude and sent us off to the side to "go call united" because "there was something wrong with our ticket." He wouldn't explain what was wrong so we didn't know what to tell United. After standing in a corner for more than 30 mins, another agent offered to help us. It turns out the only problem was that we hadn't completed our check in online, (which we couldn't because the app would not let us input the correct expiration date for our passports) ...and he just didn't want to have to put our information in himself. We could have missed our flight because of his laziness!!! He was also the only person in the whole airport NOT wearing a mask.

Cons: "At Budapest Airport only one check-in desk, #1 was shown on the big board for this flight and the airline Lufthansa was only shown above the check-in desk #1, which was dedicated for First/Business and M&M Gold status travellers only. Many economy class passengers queued there and at the end they were all redirected to check-in desk #3, as that was designated for Economy class passengers (however not any Lufthansa sign was shown above. When I mentioned to the ground crew (Celebi) that they should improve signs and not mishandle travellers, the person in charge (Nikolett Magyar) said to me arrogantly that they are right, and nothing they would do to improve the signs and passengers' information. This is far what I expect from LH representative, even if subcontracted and not an employee. That behaviour made my journey sour as travelling - especially with not a budget airline - is not just getting from A to B, but an experience which is worth to remember for good reasons, but not certainly for bad ones."

Upon the Munich landing, eight of us were escorted on a special bus, with a special pass controll and on special routs to make sure we get on the plane on time. Our laggage managed to get on the same plane as well. Thank you Lufthansa!"

Horrendous experience from start, and still waiting for the only checked bag that despite of six hours of layover in Miami was never transferred to the right plane to JAX. Attempt to change flights or seats were hindered by kayak lack of service and call center run around. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE KAYAK OR AMERICAN AIRLINES!!!!

Head flight attendant was wonderful.

Flight was fine. Crew was very efficient. Problem was that we had to take this flight as we had to lay over a night in Dallas due to mechanical delays. We had first class tickets from the delayed flight and got put in the very last row of the replacement flight. Still don’t know what reimbursement we’ll be getting.

In their boarding area there were minimal phone chargers. The plane was small and no leg room and a rigid uncomfortable seat. Also the flight was at night and they kept the cabin lights on. The flight was very average. It took ages to get to our stand at T5 LHR. Passport Control was a breeze and was excellent. We had to wait over an hour at baggage reclaim.

my flight was cancelled and I was not notified of this. in fact I got a confirmation on September 7, 2021 from Kayak and when I called to check on seats that is when I was told that flight was cancelled back in April. I had to spend the next 3 hours scrambling to change my entire trip and still have not received my entire refund for the cancelled flights.

Staff were good and seating was good. I didn’t like the food that much

I expected there to be a vegetarian option at least, and I would work around my dietary choice, but with no vegetarian option, this was impossible to do. In the end the crew managed to rustle up something from the Crew meal and I was able to then have snippets of meal segments that suited my requirements. How could this be prevented in the future? Make available a vegetarian choice on all meal served flights. A Meat eater can eat vegetarian at a push but not the other way around. I know if might be too much to ask to make that a Vegan option as standard, because then every one can eat it, but just putting that out there."

This flight didn’t happen because Air Canada bumped me due to a delay on my previous flight and I was stuck spending the night at the airport with no where to sleep

Direct flight canceled. Rebooked on another for same day with a layover in Montreal. Arrived in Montreal to discover the second leg was cancelled and no options to rebook until Tuesday (original travel was for Sunday).

With this trip we’ve had a lot of trouble with delays and cancellations with Air Canada. Still trying to get home!

Cons: "YVR airport's Air Canada staff was extremely unprofessional. First, they cancelled my original itinerary and moved me to a flight 3 hours later. Now I understand it was holidays so I was okay thus far. I got to the airport 2 hours before the departure time and even though I had check-in online, I was requested to get into "Check-in assistance" line instead of the "baggage drop". The "Check-in assistance" line had multiple people rebooking their flights when at the counter (on an average each person was being held for 15 minutes by the slow staff). By the time I reached the counter, I was told that the gate had been closed and I will have to rebook. The staff said at that point that it was "just the way it is" and their terms and conditions have this clause saying they don't guarantee people will be boarded. Well, sure, don't board them if they're late but don't delay them on purpose and then strike them off the boarding list. Very Very disappointed."

Cons: "Boarding was terrible. For some reason we boarded 30 minutes late and then take off took forever. This made us late for our landing. When we landed, we were stuck on the plane for an extra half hour (after a 10 hour flight) because customs couldn't take us. I will never fly through Toronto again. This was my second experience with Air Canada there (and the first time my luggage was lost on the way to Brussels) and it is a complete disaster. Customs was the most complicated least organized process I had ever been through. There were 3 different spots to go through, I showed my passport and boarding pass a million times, stations were understaffed and the staff was unhappy, grumpy and snapping at airline guests. Additionally there was no free entertainment on the 10 hour flight."

Cons: "This event refers to my TAP flight from Lisbon to Heathrow on 21-Jan-2018. We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!"

Portugal deserves a better airline than this one. Last the best of all, $90 dollars per bag we checked in, so we spent $360 dollars just to carry our luggage."

They made us line up about 45 minutes before we actually boarded. So we were all standing around as opposed to being seated in waiting area. We did not board until after our take-off time. The TV in my seat was broken and I therefore could not at all watch TV unless I moved to another seat. I ended up not being able to sit with my friends for the entire seven-hour flight. The flight was delayed multiple times. The first time it was delayed because they were doing an extra security search by hand in the Gated area awaiting to board the plane. I have never seen this in my life and it was definitely started. Then we were on board the plane for almost an hour before they made an announcement that they found a broken part on the plane and had to switch planes. It was all very fishy. Quite frankly that I want my money back."
