Poor communication on flight updates. And then as a perk to make up for delays, tried to sell us a credit card. Just Awful.

Cons: My first flight was delayed an hour due to pilot error (we left the gate on time, but sat on the tarmac for an hour). This caused me to miss my connecting flight, which stranded me at JFK because they only had one flight per day to my destination. JetBlue's customer service told me I could not reach my destination until the next day, which was unacceptable (I had a morning interview). In fact, the only thing they said they could do was *PARTIALLY* refund my ticket, even though they stranded me in a completely different city. They also said I would "be able to" book a new flight with a different carrier, which cost roughly $400, using my own money. In the end, I spent about an hour talking with customer service until they were "nice enough" to do a partial refund with an additional credit equaling the remainder of my $400 ticket to fly with them in the future. It was still a very poor interaction with customer service.

Cons: The cabin crew was a little lacking and the captain did not mentioned that we had landed almost a full hour later than scheduled.

Cons: The first flight was severely delayed, leaving me only 2 minutes to catch my connecting flight. There was no warning or good explanation for the hour delay on the tarmac. The original connection would have left me with about an hour for a layover, which I was fine with. Thankfully, the assigned gate for the second flight was close to the entrance. I almost didn’t make it, though.

Cons: When I arrived at JFK after 14 hours long flight on Emirates, the service counter was understaffed with 1 hour long lines! Un-acceptable! Especially, since all I needed is to re-print my boarding pass, because US TSA would not accept the boarding pass printed by Emirates in India. The kiosk would not recognize my name on reservation! The kiosk did not recognize my recently issued US passport! Bloody annoying! Only able to print the pass after keying reservation code - yet, again not acceptable! The other, earlier attempts should have recognized me and found my reservation! Very upset with quality of service on the ground!

Cons: My in flight entertainment never worked. All I had available to look at was the JetBlue commercial channel showing me all of the entertainment I wasn’t able to watch. Not even the live view map worked. One of the attendants said something about resetting the system but I didn’t notice a change. I said something to one of the attendants a little later and she tried doing a reset again, but still no success. I could see other screens working fine and people were watching various programs while I just stared at a static map of the continental United States. Oh well, at least I was able to stream Netflix because of the free inflight WiFi.

Cons: When I scanned my boarding pass the Jetblue staff member told me my carry on was too big and had to be checked. This was puzzling to me because I travel often and do not have a problem with that bag. As I was sitting on the plane I saw everyone's bag's were bigger especially the man next to me. His was significantly larger and he had a large duffle bag between his legs causing him to manspread into my area. and yet i was told "make sure your purse is under the seat" seriously?! What about his giant duffle bag and huge carry on roller?!

Cons: We were delayed 2 times before boarding. We were delayed 1 more time while on the plane. The pilot told us there was equipment trouble that had been fixed, but there was paperwork to fill out and it would only be a few minutes...and then radio silence for 30 minutes before pulling back. The flight attendants rushed through the pre-flight announcents and I could only understand about 60% of it due to speed, volume and accent. Despite asking me for my drink order, it never came...and I only heard a few soda cans pop open at all. Did they just decide not to serve us? She even gave me a napkin for it. Luckily when they put the snack basket in front of me, there was a tiny bottle of water, which I grabbed...little did I know, that was all I would get. The flight attendants were just tapping in the back of the plane the rest of the flight. They didn’t even bother collecting garbage until we were on final approach. They also never did the normal checks before landing.

Pros: I had heard about limited food options during covid flights but everything was tasty and generous. I always appreciate it when my initial flight books my check-in to my final stop and gives me all my boarding passes at once and Delta did just that. They were also really good at communicating updates like changes to the gate.
Cons: People should just be prepared to be asked more questions than usual. It can definitely make you feel nervous but just remember that the new covid restrictions are stressful for flight staff just as much as they are stressful for you. Be cooperative and honest and you shouldn't have any problems.

Pros: There was a bit of a mixup in boarding the plane but otherwise the flight was good. There was no entertainment system on this short flight. The flight attendants were very pleasant & efficient. They only served snacks on this short flight but were very good at ensuring everyone had at least one or more beverages. The premium seats were very comfortable .

Cons: The male flight attendant who handed out the complimentary drinks and snacks acted a bit strangely. I was very thirsty, and I asked him if I could keep the rest of the can of soda. He neither said yes nor no, but rather completely ignored what I said and just poured my drink and moved on. I was a mildly annoyed, but figured maybe it was policy and he was shy and didn't want to debate the matter. When he took care of the older couple behind us, however, things got really strange. He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Very weird.

Eventually had to take pilot from another flight before leaving at 8:45 when flight was scheduled for 6:00am.

Attendants in the airline could have communicated much better to give update on delay, but they did not give any information despite several times getting up to ask questions at the main check-in. Many of the passengers were very discouraged. Plane left nearly 2 hours late due to an unclear maintenance issue, paperwork and also no fuel put in the plane until all passengers we on board.

Pros: The crew was fine, friendly enough, although I was incredibly disappointed that they didn't force people to wear their masks as they boarded. They also didn't enforce masks over noses--rendering masks useless.
Cons: The flight was completely full. And people weren't wearing masks as they boarded, and the flight attendants did nothing about that. Also, there was no distancing IN the airport during boarding. It's NOT DIFFICULT to put tape marks on the ground to ensure physical distancing. It is THEIR responsibility to make sure the process is safe, since half of the people seem to not care about distancing (or mask wearing). I'm incredibly disappointed and I will be flying Southwest for the time being: I hear they're better at enforcing distancing.

After the passengers got off the plane, the man at the counter came on the P.A and said it’ll be a few minutes, they’re catering the plane now from the back to the front. The flight crew still needed to get on a preform safety checks. He apologized again. Then it was 8:40, time to take off and we’re still waiting to even board. The man at the counter said again, thank you for your patience and relayed the same message, only this time the flight attendants were walking away from the gate. Around 9 some lady higher up told the man to announce that the flight crew had timed out and stand by crew was on the way to the gate, said sorry again. A little later the man says sorry, there’s a gate change. You’re going to K6 now. When we get to the new gate it’s almost 9:30pm and while we were all gathered at the gate, the flight crew that supposedly “timed out” showed up and proceeded to get on the plane. Passengers started getting mad and saying we were lied to and to just tell us the truth. Chicago PD started showing up. We finally got on the plane but it would be another 30 minutes before we moved because of issues getting our bags off the original plane. We ended up being almost 2 hours delayed.

Pros: The crew serving the plane didn't look like they wanted to be there. Somewhat abrasive. The entertainment was poor and not very easy to access through your mobile, Iphone and Ipad. If you want to provide a better customer experience, equip all your planes with seats video screens. Passengers on a 4 to 5 hours flight don't want to have to figure out what do to watch a movie or TV. I don't fly American that often, but wanted to give it a try to see the difference between you and the other airlines. I have to say that on the return segment (ORD to SFO), I was not that impressed.

Cons: The cliff notes of this debacle are, inbound flight arrived late to Montreal, I contacted AA social media team to make sure they could notify the gate of my connecting flight, they didn’t after they said they did. Flight arrived in Chicago a little early, I have to wait 15 min for my bags from the valet, I run to the next gate and arrive with 13 min to spare, the gate agent (not nice) goes I’m sorry we already closed the door. I’m like, huh? Then he has the gall to tell me, “well had someone called us we could of held your seat”. That’s when I lost it. Needless to say I’m now flying to Dayton and back to Dallas. That’s in lieu of a 3:50 PM flight TOMORROW!

Cons: Return flight - The flight departed 4 hours late. The seating was so cramped my husband couldn't move his legs at all, never mind try to sleep. The staff members were not smart in appearance, some with long untidy hair, and did not interact with passengers except to hand out food. The food was reasonable. We disembarked feeling like wrecks. Score 2.0

Cons: Our last 6 flights have all been changed or delayed significantly. Then they loose our bags on a direct flight. Won’t fly America airlines again!

Cons: Initially delayed by 3hours (mechanical) which was American Eagle couldn’t get their “bucket of bolts” to Springfield, MO on time so we missed our flight out of Charlotte to Barcelona. Then we were rerouted through Chicago, but lost our first class seats and were bumped back to coach. This was after I had bought first class tickets for the entire trip only to be told 3 months before leaving that AA decided to switch planes on our domestic flight so there’s were no first class seats. THEN, in Chicago we tried to get first class seats on British Airways which would have been fine but After being sent to another terminal (after the bus to that terminal had stopped running) we were turned back because British Airways wouldn’t accept the boarding pass that AA had issued us. Now, having to go back to the first terminal to DISCUSS all this, we miss that flight and wind up stuck in Chicago for another 24 hours. Then, that flight was delayed by 3 hours, so we lost a day and a half of our vacation.

Cons: Everything else. American cancelled my first flight from MSP to ORD. And when I got to Chicago, it cancelled my next flight to Nashville. The flight I managed to get on departed two hours late. There was no explanation for each of these cancellations/delays. There was virtually zero inclement weather anywhere, save for most of the country’s temperature being nearly equivalent to the surface of Neptune. And, the surly, clueless Chicago-based gate agent was the coupe de grace in my search for a reasonable explanation after which I waited impatiently for this episode to conclude. American get your act together.

Cons: I was traveling today with my daughter, who is 6 months pregnant, my 3 1/2 & 18 month old grandsons, my husband & son-in law on an international flight from Chicago to Manchester. I was very disappointed a 757 was used for an international flight! No attempt was made by staff to accomodate our family with a extra seat for the infant, even though there were a large number of rows with empty middle seats (4 of which were directly behind them!) The 1st indication of the beginning of the NIGHTMARE was when the plane arrived in Chicago and overshot the gate, this caused almost an hour delay! (We heard our crew saying "oops" while looking out the window at the plane arriving & then again when they were discussing it would have been faster if the plane had used a different method to get to the gate again.) This was then followed by a mechanical problem with a frozen water valve, requiring us to be de-iced x2! Then we started to taxi out and again had to return because of a hydraulic problem that required repair. I think we were delayed almost 3.5 hours. The crew did bring a round of water during the onground delays, and offered free drinks later in the flight. The icing on the cake was not getting the stroller back at the gate because there were no baggage handlers. I can't tell you how much FUN that was trying to corral a toddler & 3yr old with all our carry-on bags while getting thru customs! Did I mention in our haste to get off that plane we overlooked my daughter's winter maternity coat in the overhead! May be time to switch to the Friendlier Skies of United for our UK travel!

AA did not successfully change our reservation when the initial leg of our trip was delayed by an hour due to a fuel issue, which caused us to miss your connection in Chicago. Since American partners with Alaskan Airlines, American should have changed my reservations with regards to Alaska Airlines, but they failed to do that. I stood at the Alaskan Airlines counter as the plane left the gate with our empty seats because there was not a ticket. American Airlines did not change a reservation successfully and so although we had boarding passes with our names and seats and the flight number, the plane left without us. I was stranded and Seattle airport at midnight with a child and an infant with one diaper and one bottle left and it was a terrible experience with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying American they cannot get it together when problems happen with delays.

Cons: I bought the tickets together, but was informed at the ticket counter that i had only purchased tickets—not boarding passes. Boarding passes needed to be purchased by paying extra if my husband and I wanted to sit next to each other. I tried calling the customer service line through kayak and waited on hold for a long time with no indication of wait time. When the gate agent arrived, we asked and were moved to seats next to each other right away. The ticket agent at initial check in was very abrasive and non-solution oriented. if what she was saying was true— that we only paid for tickets and had to pay extra for boarding passes together— that was never made clear during the booking process. It’s unlikely I’ll use kayak again unless I know for sure what I’m buying.

Cons: I chose a package on the cheap flights that has a left hand side for choosing number of baggage which invariably inreases fare depending on the number of baggage and i choose 2 and paid for 2 baggage but the ticket came with 1 baggage and i contacted both by phone call, email and your website but did not get any fsvourable response. Had to pay again at the airport for the extra bag. This is highly unfair.

Pros: The entertainment was good. Lots of choices. Food was about what I would expect for airline food.
Cons: The seats were terrible. I don't know what it was about them, but I've never had a more uncomfortable flight. My husband had leg cramps for much of the flight and couldn't get comfortable. The rest of the flight was fine, but the uncomfortable seats were a huge minus. We'll probably try to avoid 787s from now on. The window-darkening system was annoying. They darkened the windows when it was dark outside and they darkened the cabin, so we couldn't look out the window. It was dark outside--why the need to darken the windows?? My husband requests window seats so he can look out the window.

Cons: The airline "randomly" selected me for extra security. Even though I have TSA pre-check I was jostled around, sent to multiple security lines without any reasoning and the local Chicago TSA and airport staff didn't seem to know what to do. Once it was figured out I was subjected to what was essentially a cavity search. Again I HAVE TSA-pre-check but apparently that means nothing if an airline flags you. It was an extremely upsetting experience but you were in a situation of either agree to the invasive search or get stranded over 1000 miles from home. I will NEVER fly Iberia again after a cancelled flight and being stranded in the wrong country on the way to my vacation and the horrible security experience on the way back. I seriously may never go to Chicago either after seeing the complete lack of organization and traumatizing personal invasion. I fly a lot for work and have never had such a horrible experience. I would really like to know how many terrorists are caught with these invasive searches and would love to know the justification for sticking your hands inside someone's pants and grabbing their privates after they have already gone through a metal detector AND the body scanner. Especially for someone who has already passed a federal background check to obtain pre-check status. Absolutely ridiculous.

Cons: 3 of the 4 flights were late, and the 4th was canceled. The canceled flight was due to weather, but AA's response was to connect those of us stranded with a 3rd party vendor - Travelliance - with the promise of a SUBSTANTIAL discount for a hotel (SINCE THE NEXT FLIGHT I WAS GIVEN WAS 17 HOURS LATER!) - and there was, effectively, NO DISCOUNT. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with you over the years, but this was a bucker of water in the face. I'm sure I'll fly with you again, but any sort of good will I held for AA is gone.

Cons: Female flight attendants were rude. I think that if they would have smiled, their faces would have cracked. Even a complete stranger said to me, while waiting for the restroom, "I think that they hate us". One young male attendant was friendly and I believe that he was training. I fear for his training experience with this group of women. One of the lavatories was out of order {....on an international flight! Are you kidding!?!}. I think that they searched for the most antiquated plane that could limp across the ocean for this flight. Nine hours of pure discomfort. My poor 71 year old mother! Zero leg room. Tiny little screen for movies on the ceiling of the middle row. trays were not clean. We paid extra for our seats and wondered how bad the seats were for those that didn't. My mother and I determined that this was ranked as one of the worst flight experiences we have ever had. We are grateful for an amazing experience for our return flight or we would have reconsidered ever flying AA again.

Cons: Everything else! We were first sold a British airlines flight, and then we got switched to American Airlines. I don't know if that is actually an okay thing for them to do. When we got onto to plane we were stuck on the runway for over 2 1/2 hours, where the outside temperature was 95 degrees and the AC in the plane didn't work. The delay was all due to a mechanical difficulty with the engine, this did not give us peace of mind when flying over the atlantic. while up in the air my newly wedded wife and I were hoping maybe we could watch a movie to help keep our minds off the creaking of the wings, the pool of sweat from the delay, and the grumpy flight attendants. Seeing as it was a 9 hour international flight, you would have expected some sort of entertainment. Maybe a personal TV.... nope. Maybe a community TV... nope. At least they have to have a radio....... nope. All we got were our two thumbs to twiddle. After a much needed nap. We woke up hoping maybe for a hot breakfast, but to put the cherry on top of some terrible ice cream, we got a mediocre cold breakfast. All in all I will not fly American Airlines again. I would happily and quickly pay double for any other airlines but them. It's such a poor reprisentation of our country.

Cons: Dry / borderline rude staff and hostess. Dated plane. Tiny seats. But that is pretty much the baseline of airlines in the US. When will carriers start to take note from International carriers..leaps and bounds ahead.

Pros: We arrived on time.
Cons: I booked with British Airways and later noticed the plane was operated for American Airlines. The seats were cramped and the online entertainment was terrible. On an overseas flight, I expect in 2017 that there will be on-screen entertainment on the back of the seat in front of me. Instead, the movie was projected on a screen in the middle seats on an overhead that was about 10 rows away. Plus, you didn't get to pick your movie. You were stuck with the selections provided by the airline. I would have brought along my DVD player or laptop had I know this was going to happen. American flight crews are not as friendly and accommodating as European flight crews, which is why I try not to select an American carrier. Seats are less comfortable on American carriers also.

Cons: When I made the original bookings, United was not allowing the middle site of the row to be used. Unfortunately, the plane was almost packed. 8 seats in the rear were empty.

Cons: Terrible boarding process (boarding groups one and two together for the first time, so even though we were group two priority, we did not get on until the middle of three and no overhead bin space left). There was no snack/beverage service. We did get a tiny bag of pretzels and were supposed to get either water or juice, but we never saw a beverage. Also, my seat's entertainment did not work. The worst was the HORRIBLE TINY ECON SEATS!!! Unless you are a child or a small woman/man, I would avoid this flight if at all possible. I have never been so uncomfortable on a flight, and I fly a dozen times a year for the last 25 years.

Pros: My trip started off with airplane problems from the beginning. From my flight being delayed multiple times by air china to the overly packed united to the confusion of the non updated confirmation numbers or the e-ticket number. Even on the day I left upon arriving to the airport my confirmation number they had just given me after all the prior problems still didn't work. Air china had mediocre food with okay entertainment except my headset jack on the TV was broke and I couldn't watch anything. On the last air china flight from Bejing to Bangkok. I couldn't even charge my phone, watch any entertainment and basically was just stuck with no WiFi. Justfly wouldn't compensate for the changes on their end and said I myself would have to ask the airlines for compensation which the.the airlines directed me no where for compensation or even to upgrade my seat. Now I'm finally in Thailand but I'm scared of my return.

We were hugely inconvenienced and missed our obligations with no offer of compensation. Then when we finally get on the plane they kick us off!!!!!!!!!! Now they are saying a 630 departure for a 2 pm flight. This is beyond acceptable and I am about to call the local news and am sending them video of your gross incompetence. Pros: Captain and crew were brilliant, kept passengers informed throughout as to the delays, as a result all passengers were patient and understanding. Not much more could have been done to improve the experience as the snow and conditions at Dublin airport were out of their hands.

Pros: The price was unreal so I had to jump on this, I was able to get on and off with my backpack no problem. The flights were good, captains were very communicative about times, expectations and when turbulence was present.
Cons: The check in had to be done in person because of the need to check my bag size, I felt a little insulted that I would have to be checked on my honesty. When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed.

Pros: I had a good amount of time between each flight, every plane was waiting at the gate when I arrived, every flight arrived early.

Cons: Old airplanes both there and back, we had a choice of a few movies on a TV that we couldn't access on demand so you had to start half way through, and the quality was appalling. We were supposedly promised we could stream onto our devices via wifi but this didn't happen

Pros: The flight crew was attentive and polite.
Cons: Though not the fault of the crew or airlines, we were delayed almost 90 minutes because a parent took their toddler into the lavatory while at the gate and they messed it up and plugged the toilet with paper towels and/or pampers. This was after I had a 8-1/2 hour flight from Copenhagen, Denmark. Also, the seat space and amenities are so inferior to international flights. The narrowness of the seat and closeness of the rows makes it hard to be comfortable. After being treated to two meals on the international flight, one small two-inch bag of snack mix is almost pointless.

Cons: The idea of the entertainment system broadcast to your hand held device is fine - it didn't work for me though.

Cons: Such a downgrade from other airlines! Awful! They board backwards. Usually the back seats board on the plane after the special needs people. Makes more sense, people are out of the way. My water was poured into a cup from a big water battle. I like how Jetblue gives me a personal water bottle and a variety of snack option. I was given a "snack mix" on this flight which was not good. I hated this flight and there were NO televisions, or usb ports to charge phones. Never again. They didn't even have enough room for carry on bags for everyone. Thank god I packed light and didn't need to use that option. Good to know United Airlines has crappy everything.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that my husband and i had one option only and that was Indian vegan vegetarian dish. We were told that's all there was left. We gave back our tray. I don't mind going without food for a flight but my husband had surgery die to diverticulitis and can only eat certain food. The flight attendant said that she was going to check if there is anything left in first class but it took for ever and I become impatient as the light were turned off and people were getting ready to sleep. So I switch on the light and another flight attendant came by. I explained the situation but she came back with the same Indian vegetarian dish we turned away. After more frustration and explanation the Stewart came with the. Hi Ken version. I gave my husband my share and he was able to finally take his medication and eat the chicken with the bread. I only ate the ice cream and had a glass of wine. Later on the first flight attendant who served us the meal came with a couple of oranges and a bag of chips. Saying she got this from first class. I kept the oranges and gave her back the chips. Floghing with United is very disappointing to put it mildly.

Cons: My itinerary said I fly on Brussels Airlines on a specific flight number. I went to the international terminal to discover it is not there. I then asked multiple aiport staff members if they heard of Brussels Airlines and they said they did not. One person said it may be terminal 1, so I went there based on very little information and with hopes it would be there. I got to terminal 1 to discover there is no Brussels Airlines. I walked to Lufthansa because my return flight is through them, but it was not there either. At this point I have 45 min to make it through security and board, and no one can tell me where Brussels Airlines is. The good news is the flight was delayed, and I got an email from United Airlines with the flight status. This is the first time I was contacted by United and there was a completly different flight number than the itinerary. United should be more clear on the airline and terminal information for international flights!

Pros: Every member of the crew was really helpful, especially since I had a cello with me. They helped me with tips on how the airport and their boarding system worked, and I'm sure they are just as good with families and people carrying heavier luggage.

Pros: From what I encountered at the crack of dawn this morning... The staff handled somnolent, irratable passengers in a full capacity 757, with nothing but unwaivering efforts and kindness. (shrieking baby temper-tantrums, service dogs, and people allergic to service dogs included) Even while dealing with the most self-entitled, disappointingly inconsiderate individuals, the flight attendants kept their composure and remained understanding, professional and accomadating. As for that rude, pompous pig of a woman up in front.. try and remember we're all human here and you should attempt to treat others like so. I can't imagine the staff being particularly fond of the idea of spending an hour delay with your continuous, huffy bitching in their ear. (as if they have any control over the situation
Cons: Me and my boyfriend's seats were separated on both flights.. apparently it was in the fine print.. I don't know :/ kind of sleasey, kind of lame. Be transparent. Luckily, met a great guy who had no issues switching! :)

Cons: Again, United changed my original departure time from Burlington, VT to San Diego (via Chicago) from 10 am to 6:30 am. This meant an overnight stay in Burlington and loss of sleep and my free breakfast. In addition, I was stuck with 4+ hr layover in Chicago. The Chicago terminal was a mass of swarming people. Horrible!

Cons: We reserved wheelchair assistance prior to the flight. We had to wait an extended amount of time to actually get the wheelchair assistance with 5 kids 7 and under. Due to the wait we almost missed our flight, we were literally the last to board the plane. We were hoping to grab some breakfast for the kids as we had a long flight and did not have time to do so because of this delay. This is why we called ahead to reserve the wheelchair. The people checking in did not seem to care about the delay and only told us to be patient. Sad, unfortunate experience with accessibility issues.

Pros: Some of the people I dealt with were nice. All of the flight attendants and pilots were nice.
Cons: United only had one person working to check people in, and due to a lady with 8+ bags that the only agent had to take 20+ minutes with (while the line stacked up behind us), we ended up missing the first leg of our flight. Told us our bags would be checked all the way through, and they weren't. Checked bag got lost on the way back (again, due to misinformation from United on whether our bag would be checked all the way through), and when we got them back they had obviously been rooted through, with no note left by TSA. I fly often, and this was one of the worst flying experiences of my life.

Pros: I didn't like much. The employees were great and that's about it!
Cons: I've only flown with United for four flights. And of those four flights they have been delayed for three of them. To be specific about this flight, straight off the bat the flight was late due to a late arriving plane.. Understandable. Then to top it off they had no pilot. So then the 1.5 hour delay has now turned into a four hour wait. But I'm still waiting for the flight so the wait could be even longer yet. The airline should consider refunding everyone's money on this flight. An hour delay is one thing, but four hours is uncalled for. Never flying with United again.

Pros: Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again.
Cons: United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible.

Cons: While happy to have pilots concerned about my safety, it was frustrating to suffer thru 2 different mechanical delays. The first one was a missing rivet - which turned out to be so bad they had to put Us in a different plane. Then, that plane developed some mechanical/software issues as we were taxing. My 3-hour flight turned into a +5.5 HR endeavor. When you are on 2 broken planes in a row with the same airline you start to to wonder about how well they are maintaining their equipment. I feel like I deserve more than a "sorry" for the use of my extra time, but no credit or flight certificate was forthcoming.

Cons: I was seated in a window seat and another woman my size about 110 pounds was seated in the aisle however there was a 400+ pound man sitting in a middle seat which made it very difficult for me especially to even sit back because it was touching me the whole time when you have somebody of that size You should make sure they are on and I'll because then the find attendance would have some difficulty getting through instead of your passengers being inconvenienced either that or force people of that size to take two seats

Pros: We received a free video service for the flight
Cons: First of all the flight was booked for a plane which was too large to land in Providence. So either way we were going to have a longer day and extra leg.....which I only paid for ONE plane change. After running to the gate because my first flight was late taking off, this flight was delayed due to engine issues. The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night

Pros: The fact that you serve a small complimentary drink and snack on such a short flight was extremely appreciated. It seems most airlines either won't serve on a short flight or charge you extra. Also, I absolutely love the new seats on the planes you guys have been using for quite a while now. They're much more sleek/minimalist so they don't take up as much room. As a disabled person, the bulky seats still employed by many planes on other airlines are incredibly hard on me getting in and out of the seat isles. The crew was very efficient and kind. I also appreciate the thank you to military personnel that they announced at the end of the flight.
Cons: My gate was moved a few minutes prior to scheduled boarding. It was a minor inconvenience. Flight was a bit late getting out, but still arrived at designated time. Complimentary Wifi would be pretty nice, but not expected.

Cons: Lack of communication. Kept us belted down for s very long time. Lacked food service, lacked water service till the very end of the lock down. Then we were given the option to leave the plane as the doors were to be disarmed. But if we did the plane could get clearence and leave with no warning. I missed my connecting transportation, had to scrape my weekend plans, currently searching for a place to stay tonight while they locate my bag. I am cold and left my jacket in my bag. The United counter people are blaming it on the weather. I am sure everything was delayed by the laxadaysical baggage loader. The one person ( or lack of help loading the bags on the plane completely altered my travel plans. I requested assistance for hotel only to be told they are full when in fact several are vacant on the Internet. I should of videotaped the baggage loading in Canada, it would of went viral.

Cons: You sold me a ticket on Lufthansa. When I got to Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris I waited 45 minutes in line to check in with Lufthansa. When I got to the counter they said they had no record of my reservation. When I showed them the Lufthansa reservation they told me it actually was for a United flight, even though it clearly said Lufthansa . I had to wait another 45 minutes in the United line to retrieve my boarding pass, then about another hour to go through passport control and security. I barely made my flight. I will never make a reservation through Kayak again. I am deleting your app.

Spirit does the same but you know that during checkout. Had no idea frontier did this with your interface

Cons: Not worth saving a couple dollars. Front tier airlines does not allow you to pick your seats before hand nor does it allow you to select baggage and the app, it is recessed for whatever reason. The seats are extremely tiny the tree table is so small you can barely fit an English muffin on it. There is no entertainment whatsoever, there is no Internet on the plane, and if you want anything to eat or drink besides water you will be paying for it. I’m sorry to say but flying on frontier was more like a punishment for me. I always fly American and wanted to save a few dollars what a mistake! With American most the planes that I have flown in have free movie entertainment and everybody seat the seats are comfortable And recline. And the snacks are free along with the soda. Please think twice before flying frontier.

Pros: It was a safe flight
Cons: The flight was initially delayed 1 hour early in the day and notification was sent out. The flight was delayed again later in the day and the notification was sent out but not so promptly. An announcement was made at the gate that the flight was further delayed because the flight attendants had to clear customs. The flight attendants showed up about 30 minutes later, carrying bags of food from the resurants in the airport. I understand the flight attendants need to eat, but our flight was delayed prior to their landing and this added an additional delay. In total my flight was delayed about 2.5 hours.

Cons: Frontier seats are minimally padded and do not recline. It's difficult to sit in them for more than a couple of hours. Our 3.5 hour flight turned into a 7 hour flight after being unable to land because of storm conditions, circling for over an hour, and being rerouted to land at another airport for refueling before finally heading to our destination. It has been a week and our backs are still bothering us. We flew Frontier because it looked cheaper but after paying for luggage, seats, and food we would have been way better off to have flown on Southwest. We will never fly Frontier again.

Pros: Nothing was positive while using Frontier Airlines
Cons: Everything was pretty unpleasant: 1.) hidden baggage fees ($45 round trip would be one thing for a CHECKED BAG, but $90 collectively for the round trip is FRAUDULENT) Especially when most airlines don't charge for carry on bags or it's at least calculated in the final cost. At first when I booked this trip with FRONTIER $180 for my tickets looked like a decent deal, UNTIL I WAS TOLD AT THE COUNTER THAT I HAVE TO PAY $45 each way for a FRIGGIN CARRY ON BAG!! turning my reasonable and anticipated $180 trip turned into almost a $300 (NEARLY doubled my cost!) had I known I could have at least packed more into a checked bag for that price. 2.) my flight was delayed 4 hours on my outgoing flight, cutting into my personal time off and no compensation or even a kind gesture like a free McDonald's sandwich when you land...you guys really have poor quality and seem like you don't really care about the paying customer 3.) staff seemed clueless and didn't know how to answer customers questions as to why our flight was delayed!! 4.) mechanical issues with plane were the cause, or at least that's what the copilot or captain Just HAD TO MENTION TO US RIGHT BEFORE TAKEOFF, causing everyone to stir and raise eyebrows. 5.) to top off him mentioning the mechanical issues they were having with the plane the flight was rough..I've never been more tense or anxious on any of the other 30+ flights I've taken in my life. Pilot didn't seem to know how to handle turbulence.

Pros: The price and schedule choice
Cons: They try to trick you into buying other things and speak in a condescending way on the website. There's no entertainment not even a magazine. The seats which are super ridiculously tight don't recline and there's no cushion for your head. You have to pay $3 for a soda and the batteries are so small you can barely fit which is great when there's pee all over the floor. The outbound flight was delayed over an hour with no explanation and perfect weather. When I asked for more water in the tiny cup, she poured it half way. I guess they are really trying to save money. Makes me wonder they took shortcuts on safety to save a few dimes.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: All the the hidden fees from the baggage to seat selection. No snacks or drinks were provided unless bought individually and the cost for the flight wasn't any cheaper than our flight up on United, which included everything at no additional charge. The customer service was awful and though we arrived at the airport over an hour and a half early, we almost missed our flight because checking in a bag was chaos (despite having checked in online the day before). There were no forms of entertainment on the flight, not even airline magazines, which made for a very tedious 2.5 hour flight in less than relaxing seats.

Pros: The seats were spacious
Cons: When I went to check-in for my flight and get my boarding pass, the Frontier employee at the counter asked if we had paid for carry-on bags online. We said no and she looked at our bags and said we were fine. When we got to the gate however, I was stopped and told that I needed to pay for my bag. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I explained that their employee at check-in told us we did not need to pay for a carry-on. They still forced me to pay AND tried to charge me the gate price of $60 which I refused to pay. If they were going to charge me for a carry-on, they should have made that clear at the ticket counter where I would have paid $45. They were incredibly rude about it and it seemed like a scam they had planned out to try and get $15 more out of passengers.

Pros: None
Cons: The flight was delayed 5 hours, and we were offered a $100 voucher that would be emailed to us immediately after the flight takes off. I approached the desk to verify with an employee pre-boarding to ensure I will receive this voucher. She was annoyed with me from the start repeatedly saying it will be emailed after takeoff, which was NOT my question. My question was to verify that the email on file was correct. She had a very hard time getting this to her head. However, it has been over a week and I have yet to receive this voucher. Unless, I receive this voucher I will never recommend this airline.

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Frontier Airlines Lost My snowboard bag. No electronic system to track bags means you must rely on their human communication, and this is terrible. I can't believe they haven't invested in this type of tracking system....its 2017!!! Very bad customer service. No communication or mis communication on status of lost bag. Really they have no idea where it is. Promises to deliver lost bag at certain times and never do. Took time out of my day to stay home and wait for bag between 12pm - 6pm as they asked. Never showed up. Never called to say they wouldn't be showing up. They did this to me 3 times! It's 1 week later and I still don't have my bag. My ski trip was completely ruined. I've flown domestically, internationally, and I have never felt so uncared for as a customer. Tales of this terrible airline were told to me before I chose it. I can't stress this to any future potential customer. Choose another airline. Not worth it no matter how low the price is. Hidden baggage fees and terrible customer service will get you in the end!

Pros: The crew.
Cons: My first flight was canceled without notice, it was a 1:30AM flight. Had to sleep in the check in area of the airport until we could get our next overpriced tickets that will not be taken care of by their 3 options they give you. This shouldn't have been placed as the cheapest tickets available with out big red warnings that it is only cheap if you have no bags. $40 more would have given me free check in bags and a far better in flight experience on another airline. Spread the word to never fly Frontier.

Pros: Likely the most uncomfortable plane I've ever been on. Seats feature zero padding, the inability to recline, and a tray table the size of a DVD case. I'm 5' 9" 148 pounds, young and very healthy. I left the plane with a twisted up neck like I've never had before. I landed safely so I MUST be thankful for that, but if I was booking I would want to know this information. Since I'm the wiser now I will not book with Frontier again. Also it was an extra $90 for my CARRY ON round trip. It notified me it would be extra when I booked online but didn't specify how much. What a surprise. I spent more on the fees for the bag than I spent on the bag itself (and most of the contents for that matter).

Pros: What did I like? A safe and smooth flight from San Fran to Chicago and back.
Cons: The seats are cramped and don't recline. I'm an average weight and height and normally don't have such a hard time resting despite long flights, but both flights were uncomfortable. In addition, the flight from Chicago to San Francisco was HOT and no drinks are offered without payment - everything on Frontier is extra $$$ - a bit of a turn off. I'm an avid Southwest customer and I think I will be going back to them even if the flight 'seems' cheaper when searching Kayak. I appeciate you asking about my experience. I love Kayak, but won't be flying Frontier again. I'd rather spend up to $200 more for Southwest to get: comfy seats, free bags, cabin temperature comfort, on time flights, drinks and snacks. It's worth it.

Pros: Once we actually got in the air the flight was fine. Didn't take too long and the crew were lovely in getting us what we needed.
Cons: We were delayed because of weather first at the gate and then for almost 2 hours after we boarded but were left on the tarmac unable to take off. This is the part that bothered me the most. Perhaps the airline didn't know we would be held that long but on the plane once they told us the crew also got a bit annoyed after 2 hours when everyone needed to get up to use the bathroom which should have been expected since they literally had us waiting and going no where for that entire time. This situation could have been handled better and communicated more clearly upfront to the passengers. It probably didn't make a lot of sense to board us to only have us wait another 2+ hour stretch.

Cons: The price was good, before you realized the price was a lie and they scam you by charging $45 to carry on or $40 to check a bag! That meant the overhead space was unused and they were just charging more just to be inconvenient. The plane was stripped barebones. The crew were rude, did not smile, and gave me attitude for hitting my elbow with the drink cart. They charge for even getting a soft drink. Nothing about the experience said "we're serving you." It's worse flying a more expensive airline because the rediculous bag fees make it just as expensive and even things that should be free like pleasant staff were lacking.

Pros: O'hare airport.
Cons: I was unable to print a boarding pass at one of the many kiosks - it informed me I needed to speak with a Frontier agent. The line for the agents was about 2 hours long, too long to wait to make the flight. After being told by a frontier employee that I'd just want to get in to the line to rebook on a later flight (9 hours later) I proceeded to speak with a momentarily vacant agent who, helpfully, printed and handed me my boarding pass. I arrived at the gate to a closed door and ended up needing to rebook anyway. I decided to just not go on the trip.... wasn't worth having to deal with Frontier 2 times in one day.

Pros: It was SUPPOSED to be a round trip. I arrived at LAS an hour before departure, and tried a kiosk. It advised me that I needed to see an agent. I get in line. 19 minutes later, I am informed that even though the plane is still at the gate, I missed the 45 minute deadline,and cannot board. The agent will not help me to book another flight, but gives me a paper with an 800 # on it. I am told that all of the next days flights are sold out. I managed to get a $287 flight t 6 am the next day, on a different carrier. When I arrived at Ohare for the return leg, I was charged $40 , for my carryon. When I expressed my displeasure at the charge, I was told that Frontier was a low cost operation and should not be surprised that I would pay more for extras. My response to that is "When did customer service become an extra, for which I should be charged?" I have found your corporation to be an overpriced low service airline, a soulless company intent on squeezing every cent out of each transaction, while providing even less than the bare minimum to the sucker who buys a ticket.

Cons: Because of Hurricane Matthew and the forecast that it might return to Orlando, FL, my family cancelled our vacation to Disney World, as we didn't want to risk being stuck during a hurricane. When I called to see if I could get a credit for the flight, so I could fly later, I was told NO. I was given the option of rebooking the flight by the end of October or I would loose the cost of the ticket or have to pay a $100 change fee. Frontier refused to waive the fee and I couldn't rebook by October because I am a college student and won't be on break and off work again for a few months. No care for a customer under an extreme weather situation. Buyer beware...a cheap ticket is no consolation when you loose your money. I will avoid flying with them. LOST CUSTOMER!!!

Pros: I really liked the brand new and updated Airplane. The fit and finish was quite nice and the electronics and lighting were nice.
Cons: The crew was poorly trained in virtually all aspects of their duties. They had no coordination among themselves and ran around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. One attendant yelled at a passenger at one point. They kept turning the lights on and off abruptly and made a HUGE deal about throwing away the trash because otherwise they will get stuck doing it all. The intercom system was also abused as the attendants made, at times foolish announcements, with a different attendant speaking almost each time. One would almost yell while another would speak very softly. The intercom system and speakers on this plane, particularly from the cockpit, when the captain spoke, sounded like it was from the Vietnam War era. For a brand new airplane, this was a disappointing shortcoming in the technology. We experienced excessive turbulance for the majority of the flight as well. I do not know if this is something the pilot is able to overcome but on this flight, it certainly was an issue as i almost had to vomit from all the very abrupt and excessive motion. I would not rate this as one of the better flights i have been on.

Pros: I actually like that you cannot lean your seat back. It's too imposing on the passenger behind you.
Cons: They charge extra for everything. Every seat has an extra charge except for the middle seats in the very back row. Once you've paid for your seat and for your carry-on bag(!), you've paid as much as you would have flying with Alaska, American, United, etc. There was no entertainment whatsoever on a 5 hour flight (not even for purchase) and no snack provide either. I believe there was food for purchase but I didn't even look at it. Also, they do not support TSA pre-check. This would have been something the representative I called should have informed me of but instead she told me she had updated my records. So in addition to the fee gouging, their staff are either uninformed or outright dishonest.

Pros: Crew on the plane was super nice and cared for us.
Cons: Check in process was HORRIBLE. I initially showed my military I.D in order to check into my flight. All U.S Navy service members that are attached to a ship have a sticker on their I.D that states their ship and department. The lady that was assisting me accused me for having a fraud military I.D as the sticker ONLY hides what branch I serve in. She accused me for hiding information on my I.D as she tried taking the sticker off as I need that sticker to get on and off my ship. I was also accused for not looking like my military I.D picture. That picture was taken during boot camp as my head was completly shaved and I had no facial hair. I obviously grew out my hair and had facial hair as I was in a leave status. I was not required to shave for the duration of my leave. She also asked why I was not in uniform. The lady assisting me failed to realized that active duty members do NOT have to be in uniform every second of their waking lives. She did not believe I was in the U.S Navy and was super disrespectful. I just gave her my Illinois I.D to avoid any other trouble. I'm not a confrontational person so I just tried to avoid creating a scene in front of everyone. She was not wearing a name tag so I called frontier to make a formal complaint. I will not be flying with frontier anymore. Thank you.

Cons: After pushing the flight back twice, they then bumped the flight back up and changed the gate without making an announcement throughout the terminal. I also received a text notification indicating the flight was delayed, but not that it was moved up again and the gate had changed. They only called our names after it was too late and they would not allow us to board. They left seven people standing at the gate as they pulled away. The earliest they could rebook us was 2 days later. Book a budget airline, get budget service. Will happily pay more next time for a different airline.

Cons: We landed in Denver and landed a little behind schedule. The flight was below average as the pilot was navigating in "bad" weather. It was not even raining. Once we landed the pilot continues to get on the radio to tell us we would be sitting for 10 minutes. After over an hour we finally moved to a gate. Now that we are over 1.5 hrs after our schedule time frontier took over another hour to get the bags to baggage claim. This is embarrassing for a company that is inflexible in changing flights, charges you to pick a seat, charges you to check a bag, and charges you to carry a bag on. They should return all their customers money from this flight I will not be flying frontier again.

Pros: Boarding was quick.
Cons: Flight delayed due to "changing of aircraft "- we taxied off the runway over an hour late. Nothing like getting to the airport early and then waiting even longer due to the airlines mistake. The plane was disgusting- food and crumbs all over the floor (not exaggerating). Add to that Frontiers extra charges ($40 for a carry-on and anywhere from $5-25 for choosing your seat) and no drink service (not even a water) offered to us- it was terrible. Thankful it was a short flight and we were safe but for what we paid and the delay factor l wish we would have just drove. While l now know to do my homework ahead of time, Kayak should list airlines that do not include at least a checked bag with the price.

Cons: We arrived to check our bags in at the airport about 2.5 hours before our flight. We noticed a rather larger line, so we were comfortable that because we had arrived so early that we would be just fine. Oh to the contrary, the line grew and with it everyone's mood changed. Half an hour passed and we could not find one clerk to explain why the line was not moving. This was the flight back from Nashville heading towards Chicago. In a huge rage, a woman traveling with what seemed to be her mother and two children finally hit a tipping point. She demanded to speak to a clerk and basically had to stalk their office until one came out. Apparently, in Nashville, the check in crew does not begin to check bags in until about an hour to forty-five minutes before your flight. I just couldn't get that through my head. If TSA, got forbid stops you, you're screwed. I will never fly with this airline again. You have to pay to even have a carry on with you, any kind of normal seat selection, seats are paper thin, and service was the worse. I get the cheap prices, but they're not that cheap in order to deal with all this mess

Cons: I've always been dedicated to Frontier but am quickly losing hope. They gave our gate away to another flight that was 3 hrs late. While boarding that flight, the gate attendant announced the Captain was on the wrong plane so passengers deplaned and started over. Our gate changed eventually. When arriving, our gate wasn't ready, and the crew had difficulty pulling in. We had a 2 hour delay with 40 minutes waiting for our baggage. Very poor communication. We found out more info on line than at gate. This was coming home. My story getting to Chicago on Frontier was as bad if not worse. Many other stories were being shared as well. Sad to see an airline that fought so hard to survive treat their loyal customers like this.

Pros: The flights went fine, and were mostly on-time, just a little delay leaving Chicago because the incoming flight had to wait for a gate to open up
Cons: Frontier's customer service line is horrible, with no clear option to reach a person to ask questions of without hunting through every option. Also, they charged me to pick a seat, ANY seat, so what the hell am I paying for when I pay for a flight?! I also had to put my backpack under my seat, even though it was stated numerous times on their website that it would be too big, and I had to pay $40 to make it a carry-on, when there was no room in the overhead bins. Their customer service line AND website stated I could be charged up to DOUBLE that ($80) if I had to pay for it at the gate. I looked it up, and I would have payed less on at least two other carriers because of the extra charges. This is information that should CLEARLY be stated when listing the costs of a flight, not "covered" under "additional costs may apply" or some such legalese

Pros: Not much.
Cons: The flight was delayed for over three hours. At destination (Seattle) the Link Rail system was closed and I had to pay $50 for taxi service. This was an unplanned expense. I can forgive issues with planes and reasonable delays but there was little or no concern about leaving passengers stranded at the airport. The $50 discount on a next flight with Frontier (which won't happen) is of little use. I would have appreciated some help with getting to my destination and room accommodations. Do you know how hard it is to make arrangements at 2:30am at the Seattle Airport. No food, no ride, and had to get someone to let me into my room early in the morning.

Pros: We arrived in Las Vegas 20 minutes early.
Cons: 1.) We sat on the runway in Vegas for 15 minutes waiting for a gate to open. 2.) They charged me to select a seat. 3.) They charged me to CARRY ON a bag ($45!) 4.) They don't participate in TSA Pre-check 5.) There was no organized line-up for each separate boarding group. 6.) I was seated next to a baby that screamed for 3 of the first 4 hours flight time w/o flight attendants doing anything to help the dumb-ass dad who neglected to bring a freaking binky w/him! I guess maybe I'm just spoiled by the FAR SUPERIOR service of Southwest Airlines. Last time I let someone else book my flight on another airline!

Pros: The room between seats in the cabin.
Cons: Our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hrs. We were told we would be updated every 15 min. Not! Finally a plane was coming from 2 terminals away. It took over 45 min to get to our gate, with no updates every 15 min. Emails updating our flight status reached us as we were on board the airplane. Not helpful. We reached home at midnight when we had planned to be there by 9pm, in order to shop before Sunday. Even though we weren't in a time crunch to arrive, my time is obviously not valued by this airline. I will make every effort to NOT fly this airline in the future.

Pros: The pricing of the flight was great in comparison to other airlines, the flight was also on time and a bit early arriving to my destination. I did do my research prior to flying with frontier and noticed that many other travelers have complained about the added costs; the airlines website states that you have to pay ahead for baggage and carry-on's prior to arriving at the airport otherwise it'll be a lot more expensive there. I paid for luggage each way, no carry-on during this flight but did choose my seat ahead of time as well as I was traveling with my husband.
Cons: The bathroom was not clean and smelled terrible - this should definitely be looked into as airplane restrooms are pretty gross already (also being pregnant, the smell was even worse). You don't get a complimentary snack/drink on the plane light other airlines but the ticket was about $100 cheaper than competitors so it wasn't anything to really complain about.

Pros: Crew
Cons: Trash and food covered the floors. The seats were very uncomfortable and not sure how you can call that a tray table. But I guess if you aren't serving food there's no real reason to have a table, except to allow your guests convenience. Charging fees for every little thing, including being able to pick a seat so you can sit with your party, is quite ridiculous. I don't fly a lot but I won't ever choose this airline again when I can get Much higher quality for the overall cost once the hidden fees were added.

Cons: Baggage drop lines were unbelievable. Foreign travelers were in the same line as domestic. There were only four agents to handle 100s of passengers. When I checked in online, to select a seat I had to pay an additional fee and then was also charged for my carry on bag which increased my fare by $68. In addition they do not participate in TSA precheck which further delayed my security process. Although I had allowed plenty of time (1 1/2 hours) to drop my bag and get through security by the time I got to my gate my flight was already boarding. Additionally you are charged for everything on the flight even water which for a 3 1/2 flight is ridiculous.

Pros: On board crew was very nice and were very entertaining.
Cons: I've flown frontier before and I have never had a problem. Tried to check in for our flight 30min before it took off as we were running late. The rep who was working the desk (young female, approx. 20yrs old) gave us the worst guest service I have ever received. I did not understand why we could not check in, nor attempt to board our flight, although I understood it is our fault for running late. We did not need to check any bags as we were carrying them on. The woman behind the desk only kept saying you missed your flight and was very disrespectful when our friend tried to talk to her saying "I don't know why your even trying to talk to me, I told you I am done with you." I work in the guest service industry and have never been treated or talked to with such disrespect. I would have understood if she was apologetic and explained to us WHY we could not board or make our flight, compared to being rude and rolling her eyes constantly. I will not be flying frontier again I can avoid it.

Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Frontier advertised cheaper fares but when all the nickel and diming is done (like the baggage fees, seating fees, in flight drink fees) your better off spending a little more up front with another airline than falling for their cheaper fares. They try to sell you 'a roomier seat' but delivery seats which reminds me of public transit. They don't recline and they also don't have a tray large enough to accommodate a laptop!! Hard plastic covered in vinyl with fancy stitching. Try sitting for 4 hours on that! Southwest is a much better choice.

Pros: On time on the way out.
Cons: Bought the ticket in Chicago because it was cheaper than flying out of Madison or Milwaukee. Even if I paid for a bus ticket from Madison to Chicago. When I went to check in it took 5 phone calls and 1 1/2 hours later. The reason for the call was the carry-on baggage charge which was astronomical and my question was is the $40 for round trip. Which it wasn't. Also, I was unaware of all the additional charges, seat, bottle water, soda etc. The biggest problem was no WI FI on board. I need to work while I was in the air for 4 hours. It took 5 phone calls because I couldn't understand the person trying to answrer my questions. I also couldn't check in because Frontier was not compatible with my IPad. Talk about getting frustrated. I had enough stress traveling for business. On the way back we were backing out to the runway heading to take off and the captain announced that he was turning around because a passage was vomiting due to overindulgence of alcohol. 45 minutes later finally backed out to take off. I barely made it to my bus. Thank god I can run fast. What a nightmare that didn't need to happen. It would have been way cheaper to fly out of Madison or Milwaukee. What really PMO was socking us traveler additional charge for so called peak time. WHO DO YOU THINK BAILED YOU OUT IN 2001? Your should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pros: The crew was courteous and professional.
Cons: After adding up all of the hidden fees with the "low cost" of the flight, it all came out to MORE than I would have paid if I had booked a flight with another carrier!. As ad DEPENDENT of an active duty military member, I NEVER have to pay for checked luggage, much less a carry on! Once I got over having to pay and additional $150 for luggage, I board the plane to find extremely uncomfortable seats with half of a tray table, all I could do was laugh. The joke was totally on me!!!! For a flight that was over 3 hours long, it was NOT WORTH ANY OF IT!!! I didn't do the research that I should have, and that is totally on me. Fool me once, but NEVER AGAIN.

Cons: The crew was fine. At no time was I made aware during my booking that I would be charged for a carry on and or checked bag. The total cost added $205 each way for 4 passengers to my flight. I feel completely mislead. Customers also had to pay for water on the flight which was ludicrous. The cost of baggage went up ten dollars from what I was quoted when called customer service to inquire about the prices on preselected seat assignments the day before departure. The seats do not recline and are very uncomfortable. The flight was delayed by five hours and no food vouchers offered. I would not fly frontier again nor recommend to anyone.

Pros: Frontier staff in SFO (San Francisco) friendlier to passengers than ORD (Chicago). Kept luggage at SFO for pickup when I arrived
Cons: Missed flight by 10 mins. Was able to check-in 1-hr before a domestic flight and get my boarding pass printed. However, the attendants were not interested in expediting me, and 4 other passengers going on the same flight, through security. Ultimately, 5 passengers with boarding passed missed their flight even though we had arrived to the airport and checked-in at an appropriate time! After the plane left, an attendant assisted a passenger to rebook their flight, but then left to go on break and left 3 of us stranded. Very few Frontier attendants available to help us. Had to pay $225 for another same day flight to SFO using American Airlines. Learning points: - hard deadline, need to be at gate 10 mins before departure time - lofty and esoteric reimbursement process - Frontier does not participate in TSA Pre-Check, so arrive 2 hours ahead of departure time for domestic flights - Frontier does not participate in other airline organizations, so unless you rebook with Frontier you are paying full price for the new ticket

Pros: Not much to say about the flight...it was a standard coach-class flight. At least they got me my drinks when I wanted them.
Cons: I felt deceived about the price. Like probably most people, I shopped around for a ticket, and Frontier appeared to have the cheaper price. I was shocked to find i had to pay for a carry-on, and more shocked i had to pay for a seat. So, in total - post-purchase, I had to spend another $150, roughly 46% more than the ticket price I booked. I get it...the state of the airlines, paying for baggage is becoming a thing. but this was just another level, without warning. it was a bait and switch. I won't fly Frontier again.

Cons: Everything. Frontier is awful and I will never fly with them again. They cancelled the flight for "weather" more than 12 hours in advance. By the time the flight was supposed to leave, flights were taking off from O'Hare without any problem. Next, they could not have been less cooperative in helping my find an alternative route to San Fran. After more than 2 hours of arguing with Frontier personnel, they magically found a way for me to get there via Denver. Finally, once I boarded the flight to Denver, the crew could not have been any less competent. I saw at least two instances where they had given away the seat of someone who had checked into the flight, then had to scramble to find them a new seat. Frontier is the worst.

Pros: The boarding process was easy enough.
Cons: The crew was absolutely clueless. Half way through the flight no less than 6 sleeping passengers were woken and shuffled about because they discovered two other passengers had seated themselves in the priority area. I understand the desire to ensure passengers are seated properly. However, it was ludicrous to wake 6 people who were not at fault for this error on their part. They should have been more vigilant at the start, or left the rest of us alone after the fact. Terrible understanding of customer service. Also, our flight arrived early, however, they didn't have the appropriate gate available. Poor planning as we knew we'd be early about half way through the flight. Would not fly again, not because of the disorganized gate business, however, there's a real lack of customer focus on this airline.

Pros: I will never fly Frontier again. Poor customer service. Poor baggage handling. Poor timeliness of flight and baggage delivery. Poor communication of flight delays and baggage mix-ups. Understaffed. Undertrained. Poor seats, particularly considering I paid for the best. Inadequate compensation for 8+ hour delay and missing baggage for 3 days. After all the nickel and diming for seats, baggage (checked AND carry on) it would have cost me less to fly my preferred carrier and avoided every hassle, not to mention the inadequate compensation (again). Horrible, horrible experience.
