Seats could be more comfortable
The crew was extraordinary especially with what they were contending with. The plane’s navigation capability failed prior to take off. We were pulled over to the side of take off area for 1 1/2 hours until the Captain came on and announced they ran out of enough gas to complete the flight. We then had to go back to the tarmac to be cleared for the navigation issue and then wait another hour or so for that issue. I was also told my carry on could go on and the Steward grabbed it as I went down the aisle and said it was over stuffed and checked it in. My medicine was in there. I would have taken it out if I was checking it in. There was no way to retrieve the medicine center isle. He didn’t realize that but I was so concerned I then sat in a seat across from where I should have been. My bad! But I offered to move asap but the Steward shuffled people. My apologies. The staff did their best to handle the flight filled with anxious people. Grateful they took care of the plane and the situation as well as they could. Not a comfort & joy flight! Glad to be on the ground again.

And storage is extremely limited and inflexible given the hard plastic back of the seats and the barely-there netted space for personal items."

Especially once the person in front of you leans back. I don't mean to sound petty but it felt like the airline was more worried about maximizing profits at the expense of their guest's comfort."

Despite the terrible weather situation, the crew made sure that all passengers were safe before taking off. We were all thankful that Delta made sure to take all precautions to insure a safe flight. Even though the flight was delayed, we were able to still make our connection in Atlanta We're thankful for the effort that Delta and the crew made to get us in the air, but making sure that everything was safe. Being a GA private pilot myself, I know all of the procedures that must be followed in order to get that flight safely off the ground.

Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."

Pros: "Our plane was late getting to the gate. They kept us informed and turned it around pretty quickly. There were storms between Chicago and Rochester so we were rerouted. As a result the hour flight was an hour and a half. The pilot kept us informed and it was a very smooth flight. So even though I was over an hour late arriving I so appreciated the communications and the safer route. AA seems to be communicating more than other airlines and I appreciate that. Flying is absolutely no fun anymore so you take what you can get for the positives."

Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

Food was the same sweet sour chicken that I had on every one of my flights with American Airlines in the last few years. Come on. Mix it up a little. The flight is expensive enough. A tiny bit more pampering would just make the difference. And flight attendants with a pleasant and patient attitude would make things a lot easier."

My family in Arizona didn’t have a printer to print our return flight tickets, so I took a screenshot of our tickets on my phone. Apparently, when you go through security they enlarge the QR code, which makes it blurry, so it can’t be scanned. We had to go back to the check in desk and pay $5 for each ticket to be printed. Lesson learned, print out all flight tickets before you leave.

Cons: "Rental car I paid for on Allegiant website didn't include $50 in airport and sales taxes making it look like the Allegiant rentals were about the same as renting directly from rental car companies. Problem is that Allegiant didn't include taxes in the quote or amount I paid online. Surprise when I got to my destination and was told it would be $50 more. Alamo agent said I wasn't the first person to have that problem. Then on return my bag was damaged and was told I could place a claim at the ticket counter. It would have been helpful to have an agent there or a way to contact an agent. No such luck. After bag charges, poor service and hidden fees Allegiant isn't really a great deal."
Pros: "Considering the fare was advertised between $350 and $700 with other carriers on Kayak, I took this one for $179, roundtrip, direct from LAX to Grand Junction."
Cons: "When the crew runs to get coffee in the terminal, make sure to do the same. I brought some snacks, but wish I had brought coffee. The man next to me kept creeping into my space which was incredibly annoying, but it was a relatively quick flight. Beats the two day drive from L.A. to Colorado."

She showed up, then they made a announcement that the Oakland flight will be delayed till 8:10 takeoff. I was able to get on a flight to Stockton Airport without problem. They wouldnt tell me what was wrong, and i didnt want to chance that it was the last dlight to Oakland and went with Stockton. The flight was good, you have to pay for your water."

Strange Air Conditioning issues mid-flight that turned the plane into a walk-in freezer. upon landing our entire flights bags were abandoned and there wasn't a single Allegiant representative in the airport to communicate with the airport baggage people. After 1.5 hour wait our bags were finally offloaded onto the baggage claim by an airport employee not normally tasked with the job. Allegiant was paged over and over with no response. I will NEVER fly Allegiant again."

Having problems connecting with my MacBook Pro. Found later that Safari is no supported and had to use the Firefox or google apps. Could have had that in the available brochures, I did not see it. Also lots of empty seats where UA was trying to sell but would not let the 'lower' class passengers move into them even though we were pilots going into a exit row. Once the door closes they are not going to sell anymore of those seats so why not do 'upgrades' for passengers to the 'bit' more expensive class. I get the first class barrier but when in a cattle car. . . . . . . .

The main issue was that when I purchased my ticket throughout Kayak YOU NEVER SPECIFIED THAT I SHOULD CHECK MY BAGS 45 MINUTES EARLY OR I WOULD LOOSE MY FLIGHT. YOUR LACK OF CLEAR INSTRUCTION SCREWED UP MY TRIP"

Cons: "Where to start.... they "delayed" my flight for 11 hrs from 5:55pm to 0700am due to "weather" so no hotel or food vouchers would be issued. THEY ALSO SAID "don't bother going stand by for the other two flights leaving this evening as they will be overbooked or "cancelled" as well. When I walked to customer service they stated it was NOT cancelled but rather "rescheduled due to operational issues" then they put me on stand by for the next flight leaving in a couple hours. I boarded that flight only to be pulled out of my seat the last second before the gate closed saying there was an error and there were two "Fishers" and I was in one of thier seats. After closing the door and departing the gate the agent said "whoops" I guess it was a small child that was to be on the parents lap. "Sorry" as the plane left with an empty seat that I had been sitting in. After a long conversations with the supervisor they finally were able to book me on the last flight out that night arriving in DM at 12:15 in am. I had to dig my original boarding pass out of the garbage as they had refused to put me in first class... an upgrade I had paid for. After being lied to repeatedly about status of plane and bumped from flight due to incompetent gate agent I was able to finally procure a $10 food voucher (a beer is $11 at the airport. There are additional bungles including lost luggage and more to this saga but I think you get the picture."
Cons: "My friends dad passed away and was unable to get money back to go to his funeral. Plane was a small express plane which was never mentioned. Had to check bag because overhead bins were too small. No wifi. Dad and Kid took my assigned seat."
