In fact, the only thing they said they could do was *PARTIALLY* refund my ticket, even though they stranded me in a completely different city. They also said I would "be able to" book a new flight with a different carrier, which cost roughly $400, using my own money. In the end, I spent about an hour talking with customer service until they were "nice enough" to do a partial refund with an additional credit equaling the remainder of my $400 ticket to fly with them in the future. It was still a very poor interaction with customer service."

Despite asking me for my drink order, it never came...and I only heard a few soda cans pop open at all. Did they just decide not to serve us? She even gave me a napkin for it. Luckily when they put the snack basket in front of me, there was a tiny bottle of water, which I grabbed...little did I know, that was all I would get. The flight attendants were just tapping in the back of the plane the rest of the flight. They didn’t even bother collecting garbage until we were on final approach. They also never did the normal checks before landing."

Cons: "What should have been a 90 minute flight took over 4 hours! Between mechanical failure, overbooking and waiting for gates and sky bridges we missed our connection. Then when they rebooked our connection on a British Airways flight, BA couldn't pull up the tickets and we wasted yet another hour while Virgin Atlantic and Delta both passed the buck as to who was responsible for correcting it so we could get on our rebooked flight, which we BARELY did with only 2 minutes to spare!"
Cons: "I wouldn't rate this flight on a five-star grid--I give it 0.0 stars. Delta's economy seats are so tiny that even a small person like myself finds it agonizing to ride in them for a moderate-length flight. We need aggressive regulation of our airlines to prevent the unconscionable and humiliating way they treat economy passengers. It's not safe, healthy or humane to ask human beings to sit for hours in tiny spaces with very little air (on top of everything else, the plane was mercilessly hot the whole time). Next time I will choose a European carrier--even the discount Euro carriers are better than any US airline."

Pros: "The prior flight arrived late and then due to what appeared to be some mechanical issue, the plane was towed into the gate at about the time we were due to board. I mention this only because this was the only glitch during the rest of the flight. Loved the wide variety of entertainment available inflight, the AC outlets on EVERY row, and though I didn't need it this time, the availability of Wi-Fi Internet is appreciated. And though we left 40 minutes late, we made up part of the time and arrived only 20 min later than scheduled. Bravo Delta! I'll have to check out your version of Mileage Plus."
Cons: "I couldn't understand the gate agent's announcements due to language issue but most of all competing announcements from the gate behind me. One of the flight attendents was more bossy I felt than necessary. She told me not to put my backpack in the overhead bin, even though there was enough space and the back 3rd of the aircraft was half empty (I was in the last loading zone so there weren't many more people after me)."
Cons: "I reserved and paid for Delta comfort and ended up flying AeroMexico and Virgin Atlantic who could care less so I didn't sit comfortably, no wifi and for Virgin Atlantic I had to pay extra to get more legroom! NOT a satisfying experience."

Cons: "The vegetarian meals consisted of cold grilled vegetables for an appetizer, lunch was underwhelming. So much so I dont remember it The snack was two salads. Regular snacks were Cuban sandwiches or roast beef sandwich. Even the stewards said Inshould complain to Delta. Pretty sad for what the cost of a first class ticket."

Pros: "Exceptional price on a direct PDX-SFO flight at $66 roundtrip. USB outlets at all seats I could see. Looked to have a good selection of in-flight entertainment available to stream to personal devices (phones, tablets, etc) Staff were low-key."
Cons: "Basic fare: no reserved seats, only personal item. Like United (but not Alaska/Delta) require desk check-in at airport!! No online check-in/mobile boarding pass, and *limited agent hours* Lame. Buy-up reserved seat (fee) Stupid policy for passengers, extra work for staff."

Cons: "The crew at the check in on our way out of nashville had the worst attitude I have ever experienced from an airline. They got us quickly up to the counter (good) but when I had to ask questions because I didn’t have time to read the signage they got an attitude with me. “Didn’t you see the sign?” And turning to another employee, “isn’t there a sign with all the information posted?” Same employee came down to the terminal and announced the wrong destination for our flight while we were boarding. On the way out of Miami and back to Nashville the crew had great attitudes but it was so disorganized we had the longest line to wait in to check in for both concourses. People were going to miss flights. They fixed that eventually but I’m not sure they did it fast enough for some. Getting through security was far faster than check in. Also, they nickel and dime you for luggage, snacks, etc. It’s a no frills flight. I’ll probably give them one more chance though."
Pros: "Our flight was delayed over 2 hours and there was ZERO notification from the airline - we found out once we were at our original gate. Paid substantial amount to check bags and for seat assignment......after choosing seats when flight was booked online! Crew and flight were fine but will not fly Sun Country again. Too much hidden BS!"

Cons: "I was not allowed to board the flight. I arrived 30 minutes before departures and they refused to print my ticket. The lady claimed it was an airline policy to stop printing tickets 45 minutes before the flight leaves but on my original departure from Dallas I arrived 30 minutes early and waited in line until about 10 minutes before departure and they still printed my ticket. if its policy why was I able to do it the first time with no issue? i had to buy a whole new ticket with a new airline. I want a refund."
Cons: "We were over 3 hours late, which was just a big bummer. The airline was apologetic about it, but it was still not ideal."

Pros: "Don't know why more airlines don't board from the back to the front like Sun Country - WAY more efficient and very smooth. The crew were funny and cordial. I had sprained my ankle on my vacation and was on crutches. Employees at the airport were quick to supply me with a wheel chair to my gate and had one waiting for me on the arriving end when we landed."
Cons: "Very uncomfortable for an overnight flight. Sleeping was impossible. The headrests need the adjustable 'wings' like most other airlines so you at least have something for your head to rest against. Seats barely recline so even with a pillow your chin is in your lap. Nice to have the full can of pop but a pretzel or peanut snack would have been nice for a 5 hour flight."

Cons: "Made reservationn on February for flight in June. No seat assignment until I approached boarding area and attendant took my boarding pass and said i would be assigned seat. I was asigned seat and was able to board in advance of geneal boarding but I don't understand why seats are not able to be chosen when reservations are made that far in advance. Price of adult beverage higher than other airline I frequently use."
Cons: "On my second leg of the trip, I set my alarm to get to the gate 20 minutes before boarding, and arrived in time because I heard people talking about the flight leaving early. The plane was still there however they would not let me board. I had to go and purchase another ticket on another flight due to this, costing me over $200.00. They said they were paging me, I never heard it, and then they admitted they were saying my name wrong. Not helpful at all. I need to know if I can get credit for that portion of the ticket that wasn't used, and I will be writing to them next. On my return flight, there was no big deal about waiting for people and I took pictures (with the time, well into 10 minutes before they were letting people board). I also video taped the area showing how loud it was...so impossible to hear, let alone they weren't pronouncing my name correctly. Any advise I would appreciate it. Another problem was I called to check on my reservations and they said it was a third party booking, and couldn't help me. I said, "you already charged my credit card, I have to be in the system". Finally after going back and forth I asked her to look up my credit card. Horrible Airline."

On our flight the other direction, they honored the online price. I was traveling back with a friend's wedding dress as my only carry-on, but had to fold it into a bag to fit their carry-on regulations. I could not hang it, as there were no closets."

Pros: "Fairly standard flight, comparable to southwest. Legroom was reasonable and seat was fairly comfortable. I like that the airline is loyal to its hub: offering local craft beers and some snacks unique to the region. Sun Country offers a lot of direct flights out of MSP to popular regions. A direct flight on Sun Country is way better than a connecting flight on other domestic carriers. The crew was nice and the plane was well maintained and clean. Check in was speedy and friendly."
Cons: "Plan on bringing entertainment ahead of time: book, laptop etc. The airline offers rental tablets loaded with movies but does not have seat back entertainment. I believe it was ~$10 to rent a tablet. The airplane I was on had three restrooms (one reserved for first class). The two remaining bathrooms always had a standing line (if you are in the back of the plane, expect to have someone hovering over you or resting against your seat the entire flight). The restrooms were a bit "ripe" by the end of the flight and the back of the plane smelled like it. I'd recommend avoiding sitting in the back of the plane as much as possible"
Pros: "The computers went down the day before the flight and the phones said they were too busy try later. But the personal service at the airport was outstanding, which completely made up for the glitch. And the crew were extra friendly."
