Wi-Fi should be less expensive
In Salt Lake City the directions from the gate to the outside bus area to take passengers to the outside gate was unclear. There was no one in view from the entry of the ramp to the end of it. I tripped over the metal bumper and fell on my knees, causing cuts and bruises. Although my luggage falling made a loud noise, there was no response from anyone. I had placed a request for a wheelchair beforehand, also with no response from Delta.
They made us check carry ons despite the entire aircraft overhead space being empty

Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

The original flight was still available & they would not let me take it despite my reservation paper work. CRAZY! I have a two hour drive to the airport this gave me the option to leave home at 2:30am or go the night before and pay for a hotel. Flight was managed by DELTA who also did not care! All involved blamed each other. Beware"

Total silence and seeing the gate agents laugh and talk amongst each other was pretty bad."

Pros: "The aircraft (operating the route due to the COVID-19 shortage in traffic between the two cities) was extremely nice and quite/comfortable. The service was better than expected, as I didn't expect food to be served on dishes like it was during the pandemic. But it was amazing!"

Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. A l'enregistrement à punta cana il a fallut négocier pendant une heure et demander à parler à un responsable car la personne voulait nous faire payer nos deux bagages en soute 200 dollars alors qu'ils étaient compris dans notre réservation. Cela nous a fait perdre du temps avec notre petite fille de 3 ans. L'escale de 2h à New York est trop courte, les files d'attente sont très très longues pour le contrôle des passeports et aussi pour la douane. Il a fallut négocier avec beaucoup de personnes pour demander à passer devant, et aux États-Unis cette pratique n'est pas du tout appréciée, et tout ca avec ma fille dans les bras. Nous sommes arrivés 30 min avant le décollage àla porte d'embarquement, juste au moment de d'embarquer, mais le vol a finalement été retardé d'une heure. Et enfin nous avions demandé à été placés ensemble côté hublot, à l'enregistrement on nous a dit oui évidemment mais au premier vol on était même pas à côté ( il a fallut négocier encore une fois) et au deuxième nous étions dans la rangée du milieu. Bref ce voyage retour à été très stressant et épuisant !

I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Cons: "My seat was broken and when I alerted the attendant, in a rude tone, she replied “what do you want me to do?” Not exactly the friendliest experience. It was only compounded by the fact that when we were landing, another attendant insisted I put seat completely upright, and when I told her it had been broken the entire trip, she began forcefully shoving my seat. Not awesome."
Cons: "Food was pretty atrocious. Before having this flight I tried many times to book a special meal but their website is nearly impossible to use. So on the flight I was given two options of fish or mexican beef. Mexican beef meant slow cooked beef in a salty brown sauce with 2 kidney beans. Yes 2 kidney beans. With potatoes carrots and broccoli. Entertainment was pretty lacking. Not a lot of options. Also it was freezing the entire flight."

Cons: "Had to pay for wifi in coach for internet access. It was dropping routinely, dial-up slow, and very frustrating. The food was on par with other airlines, minus the vegetable turnover. That was a bit odd. What was shocking to me, is that no alcohol of any kind was complimentary in coach."
Pros: "I had read several horrible reviews after I booked my flight but I was pleasantly surprised. The check in and boarding were smooth and had no issues. The seats, though not overly large, we're comfortable and not tight. The food was good and service was fast and efficient. Overall a good experience."
Pros: "I loved that there were a lot of different movies, TV shows, games, music, and more to choose from- all for free! Then there was a dinner- not bad at all-, a snack later on, and breakfast too, all included. Headphones if you needed them ( lifesaver there as I had temporary misplaced mine), a blanket, and a pillow. The crew was really polite, and there was never more than one person in line for the bathroom."
Pros: "They gave us blankets and pillows. Each seat had its own entertainment system but it only worked with the earbuds given out by the crew and the controls were cumbersome to use."
Cons: "The plane was hot and stuffy the entire trip. There are no longer individual controls for air. It was so uncomfortable and we were hot a sweaty the whole flight. The crew said that there was nothing they could do about it."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled with no notice. We were rebooked in economy class when we paid over $5,000 for business class tickets, and told we would "probably" receive a refund for the difference. after much prodding, asking and begging, we were finally rebooked in a flight on Lufthansa the same night. That airline was upset, though, because SAS did not call them or notify them that we had been switched to their airline."

Pros: "I like the short trip from Chicago to Oslo, it is the shortest trips out of all the airlines. Staff is sweet and helpful, seats comfortable, and prices are reasonable."
Cons: "I usually travel with airlines that serve dinner and a breakfast. Iceland air is the only one I have experienced not doing that. Entertainment is a little more sparse than other airlines, often I get the same movies and tv series episodes on my way back from my trip as I had going there."

Cons: "I was expecting a bigger plane and seats for overseas travel. I was surprised when the plane was same size and capacity that I fly within the continental US. I could not fit my usual carry on bag under the seat in front of me and I can always fit that under on other flights I’ve been on. I felt the seats were really tight which made it difficult to sleep. Sleeping on the plane is necessary when traveling internationally."

The seat next to me the headphones jack did not work. We were also late taking off and landing, making our connection very tight"

Pros: "This was probably the worst flight I have ever been on (and I have flown internationally a lot - and travel weekly for work purposes Icelandair - hands you a bottle of water and you never see the flight attendant again - this for a 6 hour flight!!!!!! the plane was extremely hot there was no communication to tell people what was going on, that we were late, agents to help - etc etc - nothing needless to say - I will never fly Icelandair again others were worse then us - some had no flight to be redirected too - and side note - the customer service counter at Birmingham - had NO ONE there for over an hour - they had to finally call someone to come down and help the many people there"

We arrived and ran to the gate- people were still boarding - gate was open and the agent said to us and others - oh you are the Chicago people - you have to go to customer service. We find out we have been "bumped" off the flight and placed on a new flight 2 hours later with a non direct flight - we have to go through Birmingham now. We are delayed again out of Iceland and get into Birmingham 1 hour late. We were never told that we had to reclaim our luggage. When we preceded to reclaim our luggage - there was NO luggage. and spent over an hours looking for it Icelandair never put our bags on the plane - and stated they would go on flights sometime the next day - we still have no word"
