Delta airlines charge $ 30,oo US DOLLARS for the check in for a suitcase in the baggage hold

Cons: "Given we left at 7:15 am, I would’ve liked some food options instead of biscuits and peanuts"
Pros: "I had heard about limited food options during covid flights but everything was tasty and generous. I always appreciate it when my initial flight books my check-in to my final stop and gives me all my boarding passes at once and Delta did just that. They were also really good at communicating updates like changes to the gate."
Cons: "People should just be prepared to be asked more questions than usual. It can definitely make you feel nervous but just remember that the new covid restrictions are stressful for flight staff just as much as they are stressful for you. Be cooperative and honest and you shouldn't have any problems."
Pros: "Kosher snacks! Thank you. Screens and outlets at every seat. Safe, controlled Covid protocols including de-boarding. Excellent!"
Pros: "Delta flight took extra precaution to keep all passengers safe before during and after the flight. They communicate effectively during the flight. I will be flying Delta again and again."
Cons: "The trip was great"
Pros: "Super friendly and helpful with connections."
Cons: "The music on the plane was a bit much. Lol"
Pros: "Flight was on time and crew helped find a place for my violin. Even though I was early to the gate, they also helped me update my seat before the new flight crew arrived."
Cons: "I would ask that the gate does not share in detail reason for delay in seat assignment is related to getting a family sitting together when the basic rules should apply unilaterally."
Pros: "Got to my destination without any issues"
Cons: "Seats/seating area are too small, and I'm not a big person."
Pros: "No"
Cons: "The flight was delayed almost 6 hours, the crew was rude and the “comfort +” seats had very little leg room ."
Cons: "my first flight overseas. friendly staff. movies ..headphones..pillow and blankets included. 2 beverages included with meal. only downside was paying for checked bag. looks like that is included on the return flight so that won't be and issue on the way home. no issues with carryons."
Cons: "The back of the plane was significantly warmer than the rest of the plane. Very little leg room."
Pros: "service was great flight was on time luggage came on time"
Cons: "Seats are too small and dont recline for an 8 hour flight. You feel like an animal in a cage. No choice for dinner and no snacks between dinner and breakfast."
Cons: "Flight to Stockholm was cancelled. SAS Provided no informaton on the steps for re-scheduling my flight. I had to call the SAS headquarters in Stockholm before receiving any guidance on what to do next. All service attendants ditched the ticketing desk leaving one poor employee to answer questions for over 70 disgruntled passengers. Very very very poor communication. Luckily I was finally able to book a flight using another airline after waiting on hold for 20 minutes with the regional customer service provider."
Pros: "The staff and other guests are always so polite! Getting the SAS Lounge Pass is always smart."
Pros: "Crew was considerate, friendly and accommodating . Meals were quite nice as flight fare goes. And the variety of films to watch were great. Two thumbs up, SAS !"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Cramped in a tiny seat behind someone well over 6’5 who kept slamming his seat back to get more room. We were later diverted for a person on the flight who had health issues all the way back to Canada when we were practically over Ireland. We flew back I believe an hour and a half back only to not have proper fuel equipment which took fueling forever and caused our crew to go past their duty day which made use get diverted again to Iceland for a new crew and even more gas. We were held on the plane for a total of 8 additional hours! We were never allowed to get off the plane, we were given very minimal food and drink the additional 8 hours, and when my girlfriend asked what was going on your information person in Copenhagen said they had no idea what was going on with my Flight and had no idea where it was."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "The crew was terrible very rude and terrible customer service skills."
Pros: "One crew member was particularly nice and personable."
Cons: "We waited an hour in the plane before take-off and after boarding, during which time the crew deliberately filled the cabin icecold air thick with the highly toxic fumes from the deicing. I got a headache from it. Throughout the process the entertainment units were disabled, when they could have helped distract passengers from this ordeal. The food was disgusting. When the Danish government has repatedly bailed out SAS, it would make a lot more sense for everyone involved to have higher quality Danish products on board for the meals, especially for such things as dairy products."
Pros: "The crew was friendly, the planes clean, flights on time. The blankets were a very nice touch."
Cons: "On my first flight, I paid for use of wifi, but it kept kicking me off the connection. Repeatedly, the entire time. On the second flight, there was no option for wifi at all. It would have been nice to pay for wifi once for use all the way to my destination."
Pros: "Flight, once we got on one, was fine."
Cons: "The delay of the first leg from Chicago resulted in missing the Stockholm leg by minutes. They didn’t hold the plane, but told us if we ran, we might make it. The gate was closed when we got there. Also, apparently chicken sandwiches in Iceland contain shrimp, which I’m allergic to."
Cons: "Didn’t realize I was going to be charged $65.00 per suitcase. Checked three and that added$195.00 to my overall cost. The only thing we got on board was water everything else was a charge."
Cons: "It was very warm on the plane for the 6+ hours of flying, making it difficult to sleep or be comfortable."
Pros: "Everything was good for economy class."
Cons: "The first leg of our Iceland Air fight was delayed, but they didn't update the departure time until after it was obvious that the plane wasn't going to be there on time. So we hurried to the gate only to wait nearly an hour. I wish they had updated the departure time earlier."
Cons: "The first leg Chicago to Iceland was uncomfortable due to the seats for some reason. From Iceland to London seats were much more comfortable. Iceland employees are the most friendly and helpful airline people I have ever dealt with."
Cons: "Did not get the extra legroom we paid for, plane was awful hot and stuffy. Crew allowed 3 kids aged about 4 to 12 to literally run up and down the aisle, running into people and screaming."
Pros: "On time departure and arrival Friendly staff Easy flight and good time of arrival"
Cons: "food for purchase"
Cons: "The flight attendants were rude answering the simplest question like what beverages are available to drink, etc coke, Pepsi...that basically tells you all you need to know about the level not only to me but all passengers in my area"
Pros: "Most crew members were great except one was very sour."
Cons: "No room under the middle seat for a bag and feet barely fit. They forgot to give pre-ordered meal. Hot in our part of cabin but stewardess made and effort to fix it."
Cons: "Crew were not friendly at all; I was sitting in the very last row and could hear them complaining about various things. The passenger next to me asked multiple questions and was flat out ignored each time. The seats were very cramped, the flight delayed; a friendlier crew could have made up for that"
Pros: "Flight attendants were absolutely amazing!!!!! They made the trip very enjoyable!"
Cons: "Food!"
Pros: "Nothing at all!!! That should really tell you something!"
Cons: "The staff were rude, abrasive, ignored several passengers that were trying to get her attention before take off as 2 overhead bins were wide open and full to the brim. She of course was too busy playing on her cell phone in the back of the plane and ignored/silenced the passenger call button. They were so loud when people were sleeping, yelling ‘trash please’ every 5 minutes, we are not stupid, we can see what you are doing and if we have trash, we will give it to you - so please STOP disturbing my peace and let me bloody sleep!!!! I was never offered any food or drink during the entire flight, not even when I was awake - other airline attendants are more observant and come back and ask us when we are awake if we would like anything to eat or drink. So essentially that was 7 hours with nothing after having paid a little over $700 for what was seemingly the WORST transatlantic flight I’ve ever taken. I travel back and forth often, because I’m a dual national, but I will stick to BA or Virgin Atlantic - the planes and service are far superior to this pile of turd that goes by the name of United. There were no charging facilities (power outlet or USB port) and the TVs had such horrendous resolution that you would get a headache from having to squint at the screen."
Pros: "Not very many people on plane so we were able to space out more."
Pros: "The plane was newer at least. And I made a big enough stink when they made me check my bubble-wrapped framed paintings that they actually did get hand carried and made it okay."
Cons: "These are the smallest seats I have ever experienced on a domestic airline. I'm 6'-4" and I couldn't fit comfortably on their newer 737. The thing that took the cake was that the cabin crew absolutely refused to let me take one of the 5 empty exit row seats telling me that it wasn't fair to the people who paid more, which absolutely enraged me. So then apparently it's also fair that their seats will fit someone who is 5'-4" comfortably but not someone who is 6'-4"?? So it's fair that I can't afford to pay an extra $100+ for it after my profession got gutted in the recession and I make a fraction now of that I used to make? Making your customers suffer for no good reason is inexcusable. I will not be flying United again. Ever."
Pros: "Not much."
Cons: "Originally, there was an announcement that we would be delayed by 45 minutes because of "air traffic" issues in San Francisco, where we were landing. In spite of this, the captain decided to have passengers board the plane, and try to push our way up the line, so to speak. Well, once we were on the tarmac, the flight crew were told that the plane could not take off, and that we needed to wait there for 45 minutes, without moving, in our seats, with nothing to do. Even though it would still not have been ideal to wait 45 minutes at the gate, at least we could have walked around and could have entertained ourselves."
Pros: "Crew was attentive."
Cons: "From Gregory at the check in being rude and anything but welcoming, to seats in first class needing replaced, this was anything BUT a first class trip. This was my second time giving United a chance as I normally fly Delta. I don't think I'll make that mistake again. I understand a late night flight doesn't have a meal service, but snacks of chips and bananas is not my idea of how you should serve Firat Class passengers. I would have a hard time recommending anyone choose United as their airline. Time for an upgrade of not just the seats, but overall customer service."
Cons: "Worst customer service of my life. I will NEVER fly United Airlines again."
Cons: "2.5 hour delay. No working bathrooms. Couldn't hear the tv and headphones that they gave out were useless."
Cons: "Terrible experience in onboarding.. Later on i was made to sit in flight for 5 hours at mumbai airport"
